I just wanted to say that I just finished up the new chapter and wanted to comment just how AMAZING this story is. I'll be completly honest that this is one of the few fanfics that 1. I have re-read MULTPLE times (honestly in the mood to re-read it again) and 2. Make me actively think about it IRL. It really shaped how I few Sokka and Zuko, and every time I am waiting for a chapter, I eagerly seek out anything remotely close to this sort of story.

It's the kinda fic I would recommend people, if they ever ask me.

Writing is hard, and I saw that you were having a hard time and I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for writing this. It's an amazing story that your telling and it's even more amazing how dedicated you are to it. As a writer myself, it can be quite a pain so once again thank you. I cannot wait for the next chapter and see where this story goes.

I may be back later to ramble more about the actual chapter, but for now I just wanted to comment this!

as upset as i am over deleting my prev account, it has been incredible joy to see how many people reblogged my stuff with "ive reblogged this before and its still amazing" or even people who are seeing my art for the first time. its so lovely, thank you all :-) 🧡🧡🧡 i feel a lot calmer about this whole ordeal.

ok thats the short version of my musings, bit of a ramble below

it was never really about losing my followers for me, or anything like that. though that is also a reasonable thing to be upset over if youre for example trying to sell your art (or for any other reason, actually), but since that wasnt my intention, im fine with rebuilding my followerbase again. i have also noticed that, simply put, it really isn't very much about how many followers you have - what plays more of a role is whether you make fanart that resonates or not. most of my popular posts had more notes than i have followers - hence why i assume this to be true. but all that is to say, the real thing that caused me distress is a lack of archival. i have real bad memory issues, so a big thing for me is being able to archive my comings and goings on the interwebs, so that i always have a bit of a thread linking me to my past self. when a thread like that is lost, its terrifying - i know i am losing months, or even in some cases, YEARS of my past life, that i most likely won't be able to remember at all (yes, it can be that bad). but i think maybe im trying to live with it? yknow... things fall out, more things get put in. its not a good system by any means but its what i was given and i can work with it. i can learn to, at least. theres a reason i even developed such bad memory issues, and that was to keep me safe and well during my Survival Years, shall we put it. so i am not mad at myself, i should not be. maybe its fine to sometimes lose big chunks of your life. who says it has to be terrifying? my brain is just making space for more memories as it can feel our storage running out of GBs, so to speak. im still just trying to make my way through life yknow. im good. sometimes I'll forget. and people will tell me a funny story about myself that i had no idea about at all, ever. and I'll laugh just like them because it's still funny, even if its the first time i hear about it. i dunno. theres obviously bad parts of it and im not going to portray it in an Only positive light, but... im livin with it, n whatnot.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me! It really means more than I can say to hear that my own writing or journey or sharing was able to help someone else, or give someone a realization. It was a long series of other people doing that for me that helped me start healing, and I so amazed and honored that I get to do it now in turn. I'm so, so happy that you're enjoying the January OTP Prompt fills even though I don't always feel the most confident about them- my goal for January was to use them as an exercise where I would write a minimum of 500 words a day for each prompt, and then post with minimal editing and (hopefully!) minimal over thinking, as a result some of them I like better than others! I started this exercise for me, and to better my craft and was posting them on Tumblr purely to hold myself accountable so I would actually do it. Therefore, the fact that people are reading them and responding so kindly to them is just so incredible. Thank you so, so much!

OH MY GOODNESS OF COURSE ;O;

she's very short! she's only like 3'11. she's also EXTREMELY sensitive about her height (or lack thereof)

she has claws! they're rather small, but she can leave a pretty nasty scratch.

her earring is stolen. she pierced her own ear.

her eyes are actually this color but i don't draw it much bc she always looks absolutely MANIC

she also has really bad teeth. like, really bad. (she grew up surrounded by like, trash and stuff. so they don't exactly have dental care)

after her species took refuge on the planet they currently live on, they found they were small enough to efficiently use sewer lines as transportation. yeah, there's a lot of things that she does that are actually straight up UNSANITARY because that's just. what she grew up with and she has no idea it's a literal health hazard.

her tail. let's talk about her tail for a second. it's supposed to be fluffy. unfortunately, her tail and her left eye were both injured in the same accident (she's half blind!). her torn ear, however, was NOT the same incident. yeah, she's kind of reckless and it's not uncommon for her to get herself HURT, because her half of a braincell forgot how to work
