Yk I’ve also seen new TGCF readers who are reading from the English release only. Which is fine, nothing wrong with it. Lol but it’s kinda funny to see some being like “I heard book 4 is awful spooky! I can’t wait to get the new book soon!!” And honestly I am Loving the enthusiasm

I’m not sure if OUR book 4 is going to be the fourth book in the English editions. I’m thinking more like books 5 or 6

which is going to be funny bc most of what is going to happen in English book 4 is beefleaf stuff, brocade immortal etc etc. and they’ll think the worst is over.

I GOT MY BOOK!!! ZHÈNHÚN IS HERE!!!

I'm spending the whole day reading volume 1 of Zhènhún/Guardian so be prepared for posts about my favorite quotes and scenes! I will tag them "zhenhun english translation" and "zhenhun novel" if you want to avoid those tags for the time being!

Sorry that the pictures are kind of washed out, I don't have the best lighting source right now.

I've been trying to pronounce the names the best I can but I've already realized that I was pronouncing most of them wrong (primarily vowels) and also that I've been putting a space in Zhènhún when the text of the novel does not. My tags are all based on "zhen hun" so I may try to go back and fix that in the tag editor.

Got the TGCF vol. 8 Special Edition in the mail today...and you might as well call me the luckiest European ever, because I actually got all three MXTX special editions :O I heard so many stories about people in Europe not even getting their hands on the regular books, so...wow. I'm very happy, but I wouldn't have minded winning the lottery instead, haha.

Also, this is my favourite of the SEs so far. The poster illustration with the maple leaves is just... <3

So I somehow got my preordered svss4 special edition??? I never cancelled my order on book depository and they never cancelled it either and I randomly got an email this week saying it was dispatched and got it today and it’s really the special edition with the extra goodies???

So if you preordered the special edition from book depository and you didn’t cancel it/didn’t have it cancelled you might still randomly get it??? Don’t cancel it is my only advice and same for future special editions I guess? (mdzs I’m looking at you 👀) the universe might bless you with a magical special edition in your mailbox 🤣 (if it’s useful to anyone in a similar situation I preordered in September from France)
