Ch 1

Feat: OC Jana Diamond x Severus Snape

Warning: Implied Blood and Violence, Toxic Parents, slight Fluff

Severus and Jana knew each since 2nd year at Hogwarts and they've eventually got together at 5th Year

Jana was knew as the Cold hearted Dragon at Hogwarts while Severus was knew as the weirdo that Insults people very harshly, which is never true at all

One day while Jana was Reading a book at the Slytherin Common Room Severus suddenly enters the room and to his shocked to find his Girlfriend Sitting on the couch.

Severus turn around for his Girlfriend not to see the Evident Bruise into his Cheek “Hey Love.. Where did you go?” She suddenly spoke up making Severus Shut his eyes Firmly “We-Well I was at the Hospital Wing.. Helping Ms. Pomfrey out” He said Avoiding to be sound nervous “Hmmm Why Not you Come here and relax with me” She invited but Severus turn her offer down. Jana stood up and Approach her Beloved Boyfriend and to her shock to the Bruise on Severus's Face “Who. Did. This. To.You??” She said Firmly Making Severus Flinch Away because he knows what his Girlfriend Can do “Is it them again?” She ask and Severus Slowly nods out

Jana Clench her Fist tightly but she controls herself and give Severus a warm loving smile “Stay in here I'm going to get something for your Bruises” She said “Promise me you won't do anything to get yourself into trouble” Severus Pleaded making Jana Smile at him before leaving him at the Place.

Jana lied to him and Started to look for the Marauders around the School and when she eventually finds them a Rage suddenly took over her. She takes her wands out and cast a spell that sends the Marauders flying off the Place “You Filthiest Maggots!” She Spat at them before turning her full attention on James Potter “Di-Diamond...” He Groaned out “Put us down please” James Pleaded making Jana Scoff “Mercy Was not in my Vocabulary Potter!” She started to beat them so bad until their screams caught the attention of the other Professors “Miss Diamond! Stop this instant” Ignoring their Words a Pair of arms suddenly wrap around her and to her shock it was Severus.. He look so worried and Nervous at the same time

Jana Immediately stopped her Outburst and stare into her Boyfriend's Face “Forgive me.. I-I got out of Control” She said “Its fine Love.. I understand you” Severus replied pressing a firm kiss into Jana's Forehead “This is Unforgivable Miss Diamond! I'm going to call your Parents this instant!” Severus drag Jana away and went straight to the Astronomy tower and when they get there

“Why Did you do that?” Severus Ask her but Jana doesn't answer him at all “Now You're in Trouble” He added taking his Girlfriend's hand “You don't have to worry.. I'll be fine” She replied

When the Night has come Jana's Parents arrives at Hogwarts and as the Teachers and her parents talks about the Incident Jana Felt Her Mother's Death Glare “We can take care of this” He Mother Said to Headmaster “Well Miss Diamond was Pleasant and a Very intelligent Child so Please don't be so hard on her” Dumbledore said knowing what Jana's Mother can Do to her at the Moment he left the Room “Its Better to not interfere with our Family's Matter Headmaster.. So If I were you I will keep my mouth Shut” As the Words left from Her Mother's Lips. Anna, Jana's Mother Forcefully Drag her out of the Room along with her Husband Lester

As they Reach Outside Anna Give her A daughter a Firm Slap across her face “Do you know what have you've Done? You knew how Dignified our Family Is Jana” “Forgive me Mother” Jana replied not minding the Sting that she felt from her Reddened Cheek “You know that you needed to get punish for what have you've done right?” “Yes Mother” She replied Again “Now.. You're going to leave this place and never ever coming back you understand?” Her Mother's Words made her heart race “But Mother! You can-” Her words got Interrupted when Her Mother Threatens the Man she Loved “I Can't Believe that you're actually feeling something for that Unworthy lowlife being!” her mother Spat at her but Jana was Not having any of it “Don't call him like that!” She argued back making her Mother Scoff “Now You've got some nerves to cross the lines Jana.. I don't know what Kind of Magic that LowLife Creature gives you for you to act up liked this” “Don't you dare to call him LowLife ever again!” Jana Spoke with a very Threatening Tone on her voice “If you dare to Threaten him again I'm going to exterminate you and our whole Family” She added and Instead of being scared and Angry, Anna's Face was Suddenly contorted with happiness and Excitement “My My.. My Sweet Daughter I think that Staying here makes you soft enough to protect such a lowlife creature like that Man.. *lean over to Jana's ear* But don't worry I had My ways to change you back the way you are”

Longbottoms boggart wasn't Snape.

I mean you'd think this would be obvious enough - but people who hate Snape bring it up as their sort of trump card. "He was so bad he was a 13yr olds biggest fear!" No. He wasn't. Boggarts don't quite work like that. Boggarts are not themselves your worst fear - they make you FEEL your worst fear. Hermione isn't actually scared of McGonagall. (I'm sure alot of first years are scared of her though I mean she is strict and stern and a little scary at first.) Did she have some irrational fear of suddenly failing all her classes? Yeah, maybe a little bit - but it is BECAUSE she is scared of not being good enough. From the first book we see her struggling to fit in with her peers. She is muggleborn, she learned she was a witch so suddenly that she poured herself into being the most perfect witch she could.

Professor McGonagall, a stern and strict witch she respects, telling her she isn't good enough despite all of her best efforts makes her FEEL her worst fear. It has nothing to do with Minerva personally - honestly it could probably be replaced with Dumbledore or someone... its just she has far more interaction with Minerva.

SO - Longbottom and Snape: How do I know that Snape isn't his absolute worst fear? Because he still attends Potions every fucking week!!! Do you think RON could attend Charms if it was run by a spider?!? He can pass Snape in the hall, he can sit in the same room as Snape, he can even be teased and bullied by Snape. His parents were tortured to insanity by Death Eaters. Severus Snape is NOT his worst fear, that's stupid. Snape just makes him FEEL his worst fear - like McGonagall makes Hermione feel hers. SO what is Neville worst fear? I think the clue comes with him quickly saying that he also wouldn't want the Boggart to turn into his grandma. Inadequacy. Neville has never been good enough. He has low self worth. The tiniest bits of praise overwhelm him. He never wins any house points and losing some devastates him. He got his magic late, his family kept trying to tease it out of him, thought he was maybe a squib. He has a proud legacy to uphold and he is terrified he cannot. He is the worst potions student Snape has ever had.

Snape makes Neville feel inadequate. His grandmother makes him feel inadequate. But mix them together... and suddenly these two very scary people that seem to have such control over his life... look a little ridiculous.

DO you think Lupin is LITERALLY scared of the moon...? Or does the moon make him feel powerless and dangerous and inhumane? DO you think Harry is LITERALLY scared of Dementors...? Or is he scared of how powerless he is against the horrible way they make him feel - the trauma they bring up from the deep recesses of his mind?

Snape was not so horrific, so awful, so scary, so mean - that he as a man became Nevile's worst fear. He, like his grandma, makes him feel inadequate.
