Rewatching some JJK fight scenes real quick (drawing studies!) and stopped on this part by accident and it made me think -

With all of Gojo’s near-omnipotence, his attitude and overall slyness (because for all his silliness, he’s a master strategist, as far as I can say yet) it would be super easy to paint him as someone who has ulterior moves for taking care of Yuuji and Co.

And he probably HAS - he openly declared he wanted to raise a generation of jujutsu sorcerers who would no longer blindly follow the higher-ups anymore - and maybe I’m grasping him completely wrong here but.

I want to believe he genuinely cares for these kids.

That he actually listened to Fushiguro’s request of not letting Yuuji be killed because it was Fushiguro asking, not because it would benefit himself. That he was actually upset over Yuuji dying once and threatening to kill everyone who was responsible for it because of it. And so on and on.

(Honestly wonder if that’s gonna be what gets him, in the end, since the curses are looking for a way to seal him - that care.)

You know, after the whole „Sister school event“ thing, there BETTER be a scene with Itadori, Fushiguro and Nobara where they actually talk about the fact that the later two went around thinking their friend died for weeks.

JJK watch - finished episode 16 and 17 and I IMMEDIATELY upgraded Panda and Maki so far on my personal list of awesome characters, you cannot even believe how much. Skyrocketed!

Also, please more fight scenes with Maki, thank you. Those are awesome! =D

(I really wanted Nobara to win there though...)

Stopped my JJK binge watch yesterday RIGHT before the fight „Nanami and Yuuji vs Mahito“ yesterday and now I’m so excited for my work day to finish so I can go watch it I’m basically checking the clock every two minutes.

No overtime for me today, only JJK! XD

(Mostly excited to see Nanamin and Yuuji team up tbh.)

You know, I really have to remind myself while watching that Jujutsu Kaisen is NOT one of those Shounen animes I used to watch.

This is gonna hurt me when I least expect it, and not even the main cast will be safe.

Just…. keeping this in mind

Gotta have to love how everyone just kind of adopts Itadori as soon as they meet him (Gojo, Nanami - and, me. =D)

Finished episodes 6 and 7 of JJK, and I gotta say, the anime just keeps getting better.

Every character that gets added just is interesting and special as well.

The whole Sukuna and Yuuji dynamic is still great.

That being said, ALL the dynamics are great so far.

They really turned it up one more notch with the animation and everything during Gojo’s first fight. (Also starting to understand why the entire fandom seems to think Gojo’s awesome. XD)

So far, I’m just - really blown away by it, by how good it is. And I don’t mean that it’s almost TOO much for an anime that only just started, I actually think it’s nicely paced. It’s still early stages and only picking up speed, but it also does not waste time with a lot of filler-y moments like introductions, or training. It alls blends nicely together.

Also I just love the characters a lot so far, so XD

Had to basically physically stop myself from watching, like, the entire rest of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Compromise I settled for is that I can continue watching after work tomorrow. As a treat.

(Just finished episode 5, am very much in love already.)
