"At Stonehenge during the Midwinter Solstice two peoples wishes come true"
I had a lot of fun doing this!
It's not perfect but it's done and I loved the process of making a comic <3 I hope you all like it!
Uploading here for better quality, but do give the Ao3 post your love too!
Lately i am obsessed with Victorian era and victorian era fanfictions, An Act of Charity by Ciule is one of the best fanfic ever writing about Victorian era wizarding world.
I really enjoy the plot and the characterization!
When i read a fanfic i like to read canon characters, ooc is not my cup of tea. So this fiction, i definitely read again and again!
About 3 piece binding i only watched @ ladybobbitt ‘s video about it and that was so helpful for me, i really like her tutorials.
I like to add gold corners and roses to covers this is really suit fiction i think. And after Harrie and her Alpha this is my favorite typeset ever! 🦦💖
I had a lot of fun participating in @renegadepublishing Fanfiction Writer Appreciation Day (FFWAD) this year!
The Witchhiker's Guide to Beltane by Teddy Radiator. This story has a lot of Spring (Beltane) vibes and I wanted to bring that to life in the binding of it.
This is an in-boards bradel bind. (My first) The paper is a lokta that's beautifully textured. The spine is made of green & purple color shifting duo "Skarabaus". The edges have been sprinkled with ink and the headbands are soie perlee thread. (That handles beautifully, I understand why it's a favorite now)
It was so much fun working with @morbidmuch on her fic Some kind of night into your darkness! Hermione finds Snape in a sleepy northern town where he teaches chemistry and listens to Morrisey.
Snamione sketches to fill time waiting for dead by daylight lobbies, playing can be productive too. #notakiller #therestofthetimeireadtoomuchfanfiction
Sage by Lady Rhian. This fic was written almost immediately after Deathly Hallows. I read it at the time and wanted to have a copy in my library. 16 years later I bind it :D
I added a monogram on the spine with Hermione and Snape's initials. I'll start doing that with all the ships from the fics I bind. Placed the author's name on the cover, unfortunately, it lacked contrast.
Cover: Homemade book cloth made with cotton cloth; PVA-coated paper. HTV for titles.
Body: Cream bond paper of 90 grams. Sage leaves font for titles and Drop Caps. Garamond family for the body. 10 signatures with French stitching.
“You look very handsome. I like the navy color, it suits you.”
His nostrils flared imperceptibly, and his thumb brushed against her hand with a measured, almost reluctant touch. "Thank you," he uttered, his gaze avoiding hers. "You look presentable."
Hermione struggled to suppress a snort during their shared moment. "I would not be surprised if you’d forgotten what I looked like. You’ve hardly spared me a glance since dinner."
He sighed deeply, theatrically pivoting his entire body to face her. With a deliberate stare, he made eye contact before appraising her entire form with his piercing obsidian eyes. His lip curled slightly. "As I said, presentable.”
