i had so much faux fur left over from project slipperpaws that I made Toddler Niece a baby bear from the extra fabric
and when I gave it to her, obviously, she grabbed it and hugged it and squealed “BABY BA!!!!” with a level of sheer delight I wish I could still attain as a tired and jaded adult
and then, all at once, the joy vanished from her face, replaced by a look of deep concern, and she looked me dead in the eyes and whispered “...Mama??? Ba?????”
And I looked back at her and patiently explained that with work and my many responsibilities I simply did not have the time or energy to make yet another stuffed animal for her but that baby bear would be fine without a mommy and that sometimes if real baby bears were old enough and strong enough and lucky enough they might manage to survive the cruelties of an uncaring planet without their mommies and
I’m totally kidding I obviously immediately made her a mama bear and i don’t give a shit about how tired and jaded you are, you would have done the same
I finished another moth yesterday, I’ve decided to give them the name ﾟ+*𐐪𐑂☽ Snooze ☾𐐪𐑂*+ﾟ to match the theme of sleepy names.
I gave her an entirely fluffy body and legs instead of just the thorax. I also made their wings a bit more closed and slighty different shaped. Her button eyes are also slightly mismatched, since I couldn’t find a true matching pair.
I'm so excited to share these cuties I've been working on with you! They are rosy maple moths (a real moth! Look them up... so cute 😭💖). I will put 3 of these in my Etsy shop next Thursday, January 14th at 5 PM CST. 💖💛

Tarot readings can include any questions, unless I am uncomfortable with the subject (the tarot reading will include oracle cards as well as word charms to help clarify information.)
All readings will be done through chat and if possible, will be done the same day or the day after. I’ll take pictures and try to be as in depth as possible :>)
If you dislike the way I do tarot [I’ve had complaints in the past because I do it a little different] then kindly DNI! :>)
Once your plush is done, with your permission, I may submit it to a plush gallery to show others examples of work I’ve done. If you’d rather be secretive about your F/O’s that’s entirely understandable (PROSHIPPERS/PEDOPHILES/INCEST SHIPPERS DON’T EVEN LOOK AT THIS POST! THIS DOESN’T INCLUDE YOU KINDLY F*CK OFF)
If you are interested please PM me on @significant-stitches
I made the bee last year, so it's only natural that I make minecraft's next cutie - the axolotl!
Also... when I made the bees, I ended up making a pretty decent amount. But since I'm not sure if the lotls will have the same demand, I'm starting it out with an auction on twitter. (Then whoever wins the auction gets the very first lotl I made too ;)
If you’d like to place a bid (even if you don’t have a twitter account), please let me know! <3
I guess I’ve been into making cryptids lately, and I’m really happy with how my little Mothman plush turned out!! ♡♡♡ \(„^ ᴗ ^„)/ ♡♡♡ He’s small enough to fit pretty much in one hand and has wooden eyes. I know he’s supposed to have red eyes, but I wanted to use the little wooden buttons I had.
I crochetd a rounded, tapered shape for the body and made the wings by sort of fiddling around a bit. The best way I can explain the wings is that I made the initial outer arch, then filled it in with stitching. The legs and antennae are just simple short chains. Then I just stitched everything on in the right places. I also sewed the button eyes on before I stuffed and closed the body, so it was easier to pull the needle in and out.
Two days of work (I think I’ve spent maybe like 8-10ish hours total on him concept sketch to finish)
He’s made primarily out of polar fleece and I have the fuzzier “wrong” side on the outside versus the smoother ‘right’ side because I preferred the texture and look
His face is Felt
Ironically it’s the same felt I made Snuppet’s face out of as well (i have a lot of it, it’s what my WIP conductor puppet is also made from HOWEVER I may change him to fleece as I dislike the look of the felt)
he took like 5 pounds of stuffing roughly (I have a 10 pound box of polyfil I just opened for him and it’s half gone)
he also has some polypellets in the very tip of his tail!
