I'm still bitter they teased us with Otis x Ruby last season. Ohhh, what couldve been 😭
(I originally liked Maeve x Otis, but by the time they got em together after 3 seasons, I was just bored)

episode 6 of sex education has just fucked me up soooo badly - specifically the whole funeral sequence.
it’s so refreshing to see addicts as complex misunderstood characters who are also generous rather than straight up villains. i felt so bad for sean cuz i get how loved ones with addiction can seriously affect people, and it’s good that the creators put a character like him in the show to communicate that. i really liked how erin was portrayed in the show: complex but kind and caring and also horrible at times, but never a horrible person, and maeve understood that, and it’s clearer in the speech that she gave. the episode amazingly visualised the complexity off addiction and i fucking love the creators for portraying maeve, sean and erin as they did.
(couldn’t find a recent gif of maeve but she’s so amazing. i get why she loves complex female characters)

hi could you do a ruby matthews from sex education x g!p g!p fútbol reader enemies to lovers trope?
Angst to fluff
If so here’s my request: y/n is a new transfer student and has a class with ruby and it was y/n who started their rival/hate for each other on accident. Then as time went on they began to get closer slowly, then at a party y/n drunkly confesses to ruby how much she likes her then ruby says she feels the same but then ruby is too afraid to go public, so y/n agrees to be a secret (you could add smut after if you want up to you!) As time goes on y/n starts to get annoyed because ruby in public starts to treat her crap and acts as if they’re still enemies. So y/n got fed up and confronted Ruby about it in front of the untouchables which Ruby tries to deny everything which leads to y/n saying they’re over and leaves. To which leads to y/n not going to school for a while which worries ruby, so then ruby goes to her house and finds out that y/n moved (for whatever family or financial reason) which causes her to breakdown and stuff. Then after weeks of trying to find y/n she does and then ruby explains why she did what she did then the fluff happens then the end
Im so sorry this request was long😭😭 I’ve just been thinking about it for a while now I just needed to get it off my chest LMAOO
over.

You weren't sure when you made an enemy of Ruby Matthew's, or when you began to catch feelings for her.
Ruby Matthew's wasn't sure when she made an enemy of you, or when she began to catch feelings for you.
Ruby and You started a secret relationship a few months ago, emphasis on the secret.
It all started when you drunkenly confessed to her at a party, not expecting her to take you into a closet and give u the best fuck you've ever had.
Being in a relationship with Ruby came as a shock to you. At school in front of others, she was mean and spiteful, but when it was just you two...it was different.
Cuddling and kissing was quite frequent, whereas in front of her friends, you were both pretending to hate each other.
But you were getting tired of pretending.
You approached Ruby with confidence, deciding that today you would confront her.
"Ruby."
All three of them turned to look at you, Ruby looking slightly surprised and Olivia and Anwar clearly not trying to hide their disgust.
"What do you want?" Ruby replied brazenly.
"I want to talk." You said as you adjusted the strap of your backpack.
Olivia and Anwar looked at Ruby expectantly.
"About what?"
You rolled your eyes, why was she being so difficult? "You know what. And I'd personally like to do this in private."
"Whatever you have to say, you can say it here." She motioned to her two friends, then crossed her arms.
To say you were angry was an understatement.
"Fine." You stepped closer. "Me and Ruby have been in a relationship for exactly four months, since Otis Milburn's surprisingly alright party, when she took me into a closet and fucked me like she meant it. And I don't want it to be a secret anymore."
You reveled in the sight of Anwar and Olivia's appalled expressions, until your gaze fell on Ruby, who looked crushed. You felt slightly guilty but then you realised she deserved it.
"And now it's over between us."

what's the worst season of sex education in your opinion?
i love all 3 but i think the 3rd is probably my least fave (and sorry this explanation is so long lol i kinda started and didn't stop)
TLDR: rotis was cute while it lasted but low key ruined the season
i love what they did with certain characters, but i think for a show that gets criticism for being "too packed" with different people, they probably utilised their ensemble the least this season.
in season 3 the only people that had worthwhile stories were adam, eric, otis, jackson, jean, cal and maeve. everybody else was either half finished (ruby), shoved in randomly (lily and ola) or just not explored at all (everyone else). and even some of the worthwhile stories could've been improved.
i won't go into everyone's bc it'd take way too long but i'll just focus on the untouchables, lily and ola.
we could've easily had killed 3 birds with 1 stone by focusing ruby's story on her personal relationships rather than just otis. they used her dad, anwar and olivia as leverage for rotis rather than focusing on why the untouchables are friends and how they've developed, and her dad felt more like a prop than a character. the episode where rotis was ending should've had a bigger focus on the untouchables rather than rotis, because that relationship wasn't going anywhere at that point, so why did we focus so much on it? anwar also had a whole identity crisis because the moment otis started dressing like him he was losing who he was, so then when he was forced into a uniform he just immediately accepted it and we never revisited that again. also in episode 4, olivia was striving to remain on ruby's good side, and this was played off as merely a joke and not the fact that olivia is clearly deeply insecure about herself and her friendships. 3x04 in general could've easily covered the bases with this whole friendship whilst still pushing the rotis story, but there was just so much unnecessary rotis focus that it even made the audience sour on what was supposed to be a sentimental motis moment in the next episode.
lily and ola were also really awkwardly placed this season. it felt as though everyone else had a story to tell and they just decided to give them random scenes. we never really explore their relationship beyond the alien things, and it never has any big pay off, nor does it make me excited to see them more. they have so many potential things to explore (i.e. lily maybe being autistic, ola's identity problems within her relationships, the two of them possibly only dating bc they're the only available queer women) but they just never use them right.
seasons 1 and 2 had clear focuses, and everyone had a purpose. the untouchables were in season 2 the least out of all 3 seasons yet they all had the most development then because they had sole focuses where it was necessary, rather than just being used to push a story that wasn't leading anywhere. i hope in s4 they utilise their ensemble more, because they have such rich characters that it'd be a shame if they did a repeat of season 3 or got rid of some.
