I don't dream of a future where little girls grow up wanting to be ceos, or lockheed martin scientists, or soldiers, or whatever a human recourses developer is. I dream of a world where girls grow up wanting to be occultist practitioners, and sex workers, and unhinged artists, and boys.

Socialize gender afferming care.
Making kicking your queer child out of the house a felony.
Paying reparations to the black and/or indigenous communities.
Making disability easier to get on and using the amount you pay out each month.
Making work places and schools more accessible.
Labor unions.
Seizing the means of production.
Doing something about child abuse
What won't reduce the number of none consentaul sex worker.
Demonizing Sex Work.

All landlords, cops and billionaires must perpetuate evil in order to maintain their status as such in society, if they didn't help uphold the evils of this system, they won't remain any of these 3 for long

Apparently, today is International Sex Workers' Day, so shout-out to sex workers! You aren't being treated right in most countries and it fucking sucks, governments need to calm down on telling you how (not) to do your jobs.

Having this be the dialogue over Fire (as played by Neo Trai who also played Boston who was, actually, the last person I saw giving this exact speech but in the opposite way...) is amazing and glorious and is like a beautiful little inside joke for people who watch all GMMTV queer shows. Fantastic. @absolutebl I can honestly admit this isn't what I expected from this bit of the show.
Bonus: Man, this show is really just kind of doing whatever it can, sometimes, eh?

I'm so thankful for the Good Omens community. It's been a long time since I've felt this safe in a fandom. Been a long time since I've felt this at home and okay to say the things on my mind.

Women is forced into sex work by capitalism, the medical model of disability, racism, queerphobia and the patarachy.
SWERFs: We should make sex work and buying sex work illegal.
SW: how will my basic needs be met?
SWERFs: LOL starve to death for the utopian SWERF society that might exist 100 years from now.

Something we really need to commend Hazbin Hotel for is being very clear that sex work is real work.
The few times sex work is even included in media its either made out to be gross and immoral or just used as a joke.
Hazbin Hotel does not do this.
Angel obviously loves the work that he does and is proud of his talent.
Where the conflict comes in is the awful treatment by his boss and his inability to leave the job.
This is a very honest depiction of many people in many types of work where the joy they have for the work is removed because of the treatment by management.
And for people being unable to leave a bad job due to financial dependence.
I have no doubt that even after Val is defeated Angel will remain a sex worker.
He will just do it on his terms.
We need more representation like this.
