"a servant of two masters" rewatch

this is, in my opinion, one of the BEST episodes of the show. could we have gotten a more serious, more nuanced episode where we explored more of the characters' feelings? definitely. there was a huge opportunity to explore how arthur would feel about merlin, who he trusted blindly, trying to kill him (i really feel like there's SO MUCH to talk about here). but the writers chose to take a comedic approach to it instead, and in consequence we ended up getting one of the funniest episodes in the whole show. they packed pretty much EVERYTHING into this ep— hot morgana? check. torturing people (namely merlin)? check. arthur going batshit crazy over merlin being lost? CHECK. a cutesy merthur reunion scene where we get their first hug? CHECK. ridiculously executed assassination attempts on arthur? check. gwen hitting merlin over the head not once but TWICE? that's something i never knew i needed to see but CHECK! morgana finally meeting "emrys" face to face and getting tossed around in the woods? check (😭). side note: i do think it was quite interesting to see morgana almost lose her mind the second she saw emrys in her home like she really turned around and said nope not today. anyway, the overall vibe and plot of the episode i thought was quite cool, and the little comedic details of merlin trying and miserably failing to murder arthur really bring it all together. (plus sexc morgana!)

Seeing Tim? Shirtless? With his hair messy?? Are you trying to murder me? King Tim must train with his guards and knights as often as his schedule allows to keep him safe. Self defense is something he takes very seriously. But man does he look hot while he does it.

He'd start with his hair as normal and then the further he gets into the workout the more he'll push his bangs back with his hand. The sweat would slick it back and it would be tussled and messy until he finally ties it back. Same with his shirt. He'll start normally but then he'd slowly lose layers until his entire torso is bare.

And what a sexc sight indeed.

But Tim falling into the lake? With his shirt just barely see through to leave nothing but everything to the imagination. He'd be dripping from head to toe and he'd tug off his tie to reveal his neck and collarbones. Mmmmmm, beautiful.

Gonna go with the boat scene. Someone has to help him undress from those clothes.

Other then in the original draft they actually got a LOT more frisky then this 😭 but after trying to rewrite it I just couldn’t convince myself that MC would be comfortable with it in this version, so I gave y’all just a little crumb for previews of coming attractions, which don’t worry, are coming pretty soon now 🥶

Ahhh I’m so happy you loved the chapter my dear!! And I totally agree with you, while it was more filler related, I felt like this chapter was VERY vital to Jungkook and MC’s relationship because it’s the very first where we can see them openly embrace one another and be receptive to one another, in conversation and touch and we can see this sort of softness develop between them that needed to happen during this chapter because the next arc of the story is very fun, in a lot of ways, but they’ll need to be closer for it to work! It’s also kind of nice to take a break from all the melodrama sometimes for sure haha!

I’m also so sorry for your loss my love! And I’m glad this little story of mine can provide some relief and a good distraction meanwhile and I hope you stay well hydrated and the universe is kind to you this coming week 🥹 as always seriously!!
