Decided to finally post some of the cleaner sketches and doodles I've done over the last few years. A friend has been trying to get me to post some of these for a while now. I am in the process of writing a fic for these guys; the release date is scheduled between 2024-3000. So I might as well introduce them to you in the form of art.

Waaaa how cute! Ugh I love dealers choice it just means I can write my pookies (today that means the swapfell bros). Yk I always feel bad bc I feel like I write too little. I am used to writing research papers where I just get to the point so creative writing is so painful.

He’s blushing

I imagine this would be the kind of situation where you two were near some people that got in a physical altercation and you pulled him back. That kind of unconscious instinct both surprises and Greatly flatters him.

He’ll go all wide-socketed and just look at you like you’ve grown extra eyes.

Once the y’all are away from whatever situation spooked you, he’ll start making little jokes non-stop. It’s terrible.

“what was that?” “Wdym what was that?” “were you trying to protect me??” “Tf are you talking about??” “you need a new nickname. i didn’t realize you’re such a guard dog.” “Sans what are you talking about”

Sans tries to keep the energy equal in a relationship. Not one-to-one type of stuff where if you do one chore one day he’ll do it the next, as much as if you put in a lot of work he’ll try to treat you or do something that shows that he knows you did it and appreciates it. So now that he knows you’ll jump to his defense at the drop of a hat, he makes it his mission to Not let you do that. He is flattered of course but he just doesn’t want you to get hurt.

In smaller situations where you just got spooked by something he’ll try to calm you down with jokes and puns.

Papyrus

BLUSHING AND STUTTERING AND AND AND

He’s so flattered he’s just a mess.

Papyrus is the type of person that will jump to anyone’s defense immediately, so you reciprocating the energy means everything to him.

He doesn’t spook very easy, so you’ll probably be the jumpier person. No matter what gets you, big or small, you just randomly pulling him behind you has him blushing hard enough to glow.

Emotional bioluminescence never works in a skeleton’s favor.

I fear that you don’t realize what you brought onto yourself though.

If you weren’t already, Papyrus is staying up planning you an incredibly detailed workout plan to make sure you are capable in combat.

“YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO FIGHT IF YOU ARE SO DESPERATE TO DEFEND MY HONOR NYEH-HEH-HEH”

The finalized workout regimen is planned exactly to your physical limitations. Almost to a concerning degree… did he do a secret medical exam or something??

No for the record, but he wouldn’t say no matter what the answer.

Red

Red is pretty jumpy himself so his hackles are already raised as he is trying to drag you behind him, but You dragged him back first??? You want to protect Him???

Swoon

He’s swooning

He still wins this nonexistent battle for the right to protect the other, so he manages to get you close to him. Sorry not sorry but Red’s protective instincts are hard to match, let alone beat.

If the situation was severe enough that you two would need to leave, once y’all do he’s all over you. Laughing and joking about how you’re trying to play guard dog.

He does try to check in a make sure you know you can depend on him yada yada. Please reassure him that you know and whatnot.

It’s not that he doesn’t trust you or feels insecure of course—hell one of his many types is strong and forthcoming—he is just also used to being the protector and wants to make sure you don’t burden yourself.

Edge

Confused even

Situationally you have two options: either you startled at something he also recognizes as a “threat” or you jump at something that just happened to scare you. Both of these options end with him looking at you like you are some combination of a deity and an oddly shaped cat. Confusion, wonder, adoration, a touch of horror—you get the picture.

More specifically, for the smaller option he will just straight up ask you wtf, but for the “big threat” option he gloats. Loudly.

He is about to get very loud.

Imagine something along the lines of “NYAHAHA YES FEAR ME AND MY HUMAN HAHAHA”

Edge is a skeleton that loves his theatrics what can I say.

You will also be put through a training regimen btw. It’s about the same as Papyrus’ just with more sparring. You did this to yourself.

Indigo

I’m so sorry but Indi picks fights.

He does

Maybe you can try to physically pull him away from needling randos? Then again you jumping to his defense might just make him more confident and Worse.

You won’t get a workout regimen out of this guy though! Little victories.

for literally any other time where something just makes you jump and you grab him instinctually, he’ll play into it. You should tell him as soon as you can if that’s something you don’t want.

But he will dramatically jump into a fighting stance the second you start to tug him towards you.

He is always ready to defend his human’s honor.

Cash

He let’s you drag him back with very little resistance.

In all honesty he finds you jumping to his safety quite amusing, especially if it was from something small that just happened to make you jump and grab him with you.

If there’s ever a situation where you aren’t in immediate danger but near some (like some strangers getting into an altercation) Cash will absolutely allow you to do whatever you want.

He’s never gonna let either of y’all get into real danger, so as long as that doesn’t happen you are free to your instincts to try and protect him.

Hell, you might not even need to grab him with how much he loves to touch or hang off you. No sense of personal space truly.

There's a rumor spreading...

A rumor to which will endanger my life.

Not just mine, but those who work below me, as well...

I'm not fond of lies spreading, but I have my ways of dealing with misjift cowards trying to derail the trust I worked hard into this annoying existence I was brought into.

The rumor is that I have been having a relationship with my Second Commander...

Whoever brought that up will be found and brought to my own hands of Justice. They better HoPe I don't find them... For my works are legendary in this world.

Ribba the Rabbit; Though affectionately called that by family, makes me somewhat regretful I allowed her to join the stats of these beings I command.

Oddly an aloof and dimwitted female rabbit monsters with the mindset of a toddler on the best of days; Always smiling and laughing where she can, constantly getting my Soldiers riled up and playing along with her games... Ribba has even gotten my brother into her antics, but that isn't as shocking with my brothers records.

However, besides the obvious downfalls of her personality, there are some good qualities to her.. The only few saving graces to being in this pandemonium world of ours.

Ribba's speed and hindsight of not needing to see where she strikes an enemy; Able to deal either deathly wounds or just an ounce of their life; Has gained her the nickname "Brisk Lapin".

Having another pair of hands to do that is a feature; Something not many of the others can do. Otherwise, I wouldn't have her in my quadrants to begin with...

Another is how she can keep the HoPe of the others alive. Her ability to be almost carefree and flowing with many creatures down here have easily broken up many fights. She says she doesn't have patience's, just plenty of experience when her toddler siblings would fight... Her tactics are that of a Mother, but it works. Annoyingly so.

But there is something odd with my Second Commander... I have noticed her ears will twitch first to others when they speak to her; But I suspect it's a power stance which I can admire.

Noticed the things others wouldn't with her paws; how she will tap certain items like tables with items on them and slightly hover her fingers until she reached the desired item in question. Or how she fumbles and makes it look like she's a clumsy rabbit...

Whether it's to have others guess her techniques and wonder how she got into my army's ranks or there is actually something wrong with her is still a secret I will be finding out on a later date.

For now; How could I possibly have any connection to a creature who is so opposite to myself in ways of personality? She doesn't even strike fear into others. She doesn't growl, doesn't yell, and takes those who yell at her rather than standing up for herself...

... But I saw that if it's for those under her; She stands up and shows a different side to that-... Disgustingly sweet side.

They have written in terms of how she strikes fear into those who have harmed her section. Issuing in some deaths, which from the aspects of the situation; Were unavoidable.

Perhaps-... The Judge wasn't wrong when they assigned her to being the new Second Commander.

...

Why would I care though?

She's just a rabbit monster; The shortest breed there is, as well. Normally used in the Parlor of Muffet's as prostitute's, somehow missed the memo & joined the ranks...

Perhaps that is why such a rumor is spreading...

It's a good thing I just found the deceitful imbecile, brave enough to run their mouth with me right behind him.

Time to show them not to mess with the Black Executioner.

Ooh, how about Swapfell Red bros in C2 and D2? Or Fellswap Gold with E2 and A2. Maybe with some color palette adjustments if that'd look better.

Right before hitting send, I realized I didn't specify which outfit for which brother. And yknow what... that's fine. :D

Sorry for the wait, I also couldn't decide which outfit to give which brother so uhh... You get all of them.

Alright, on a more serious note, the Fellswap Gold was pretty easy to figure out, I really don't see Coffee wearing E2! XDD And he looks good with a hoodie on. Meanwhile, deciding which outfit to give to the Swapfell brothers really was a struggle. I can see them wearing both, but with different settings. In the first one, Black is your typical edgelord while Slim is this awkward and shy but very eager puppydog who likes to wear comfy clothes. But in the other one, you can imagine it's Black's day off so he allows himself to wear something casual, while Slim like to look tough and like a bad boy to warn off potential danger (AKA people who will try to flirt with Black).

Anyway, they took time (and I went back to work last week as well so less time to finish these) but I'm really happy with all 3! I had fun (except that moment when I realized I forgot to draw the choker around Slim's neck so I had to copypaste it from the other illustration XD)

Hobbies pt.2

pt. 1 came out months and months ago and I just haven't wanted to write up pt. 2. well here it is! once again everyone say thank you toni (@tyrannydarling) for the help coming up with these.

Hobbies: pt. 1 | you are here | pt. 3 | pt. 4

Blue

The biggest one is hiking.

Blue is super into anything that has to do with spending time outdoors. He will spend Hours looking up new trails to hike.

As an extension of that, he is also really into foraging. He has books upon books about safe foraging and what is available in the area.

It was a trial by fire though. He didn't realize things can have highly dangerous lookalikes. After he fed his brother a meal with a lookalike, the night of non-stop vomiting that followed served as a sizable warning for the future.

Stretch now requires proof of safety for everything Blue finds after The Incident.

He is also into birdwatching! He's more casual about it than his other interests, but he likes being able to recognize birds and bird-songs

Blue picked up scrapbooking on the surface once his brother started getting into photography. It's a bonding session for the two of them to collaborate and make a book to commemorate their hike(s).

For a less outdoorsy theme, Blue is also into jigsaw puzzles. He even got a fancy table made for doing puzzles as a Giftmas gift one year.

He's not the Best at them, so a basic 1000-piece will take him a few weeks off and on.

Stretch

He got into photography on the surface.

Stretch was browsing a random small thrift when a vintage film camera caught his eye. Cameras didn't usually make it into the Underground Dump in good shape, so he decided to splurge.

He bought it, found what film he needed, and got to work.

Initially, he only really took practice pictures around the house or at the local parks, but once Blue succeeded in dragging him on a hike, he got more into it.

He does a lot of macro stuff on the hikes. One scrapbook he and Blue work on is just of bugs they find.

Blue is the one that came up with the scrapbooking idea, but Stretch is the one that started stepping up the creativity game and bought the fancy paper, stickers, and stamps.

He makes a lot of friendship bracelets.

His favorite design is the zig-zag but he's good at pretty much everything.

Stuffed animals!

He loves making plushes and has made them since Blue was a babybones. He referenced a few Surface biology books he found in the Dump to make a sea turtle for himself and a rabbit for Blue's 6th birthday.

Indigo

Indi is closest to blue personality-wise, so it is only natural he has a similarly outdoorsy hobby and that's beachcombing!

Underground he used to spend a lot of his free time in Waterfall training with Alphys so he developed a taste for the water.

He isn't very good at swimming but loves to spend hours on the shoreline looking for anything interesting.

He has a Massive shell collection meticulously organized.

He is subscribed to magazine upon magazine about beaches and the latest in beachcombing news.

On the topic of collections, he is an uber-nerd about rocks and has an equally large collection of cool rocks and crystals.

He has taken a number of trips with his brother to rock shows (no matter how far away)

He likes making little crafts with the rejects from his collections.

If he finds a rock or shell in better condition than what he has in the main collection, he'll replace it and use the old item for things like jewelry and decor.

A notorious baker.

Notorious in what way? That's for everyone else to find out.

In all honesty, he's not too bad. The icings might be overwhipped and the cheesecakes a bit curdled but the flavors are actually quite nice.

Strangely enough, he is masterful at making the perfect puff pastry.

Cash

Gambling.

I'm kidding. kinda.

Making money is his life's mission, not his hobby.

His actual hobby is drawing.

He becomes a tattoo artist on the Surface, so having skills in traditional and digital art is important and he has it!

He does a lot of illustrative stuff that happened to translate well into tattooing.

He used to offer to draw Monster's portraits for a few G when he was younger.

Cash has an extraordinary amount of free time so every once in a while he offers commissions online.

On the Surface, he also picks up stained glass.

Initially, it was just a time waster. He picked up a little kit from a craft store and got hooked from there.

He really likes making super personalized window hangers as gifts. Indigo got a beach scene for one birthday that has hung in his room since receiving it.

He wasn't expecting to like it very much, but it only took a few months before he started getting himself some nicer equipment.

There is now a small setup in the garage with his fancy sanders and saw.

Indi installed a nice shelving system to organize all of Cash's glass panes as a gift.
