No need to fully mourn Joel’s nose scar, since he kinda still has it but just in a different spot. Pedro got whacked in the face by something on the set of the mandalorian so he has a scar on the left side of his nose (his left, our right I think?) lower down. It gets covered up with make up a lot tho I think :/
wait wait wait wait wait wait !!!!
this is the best news you could have given me tonight (i mean sucks for pedro obviously i bet it was Not Fun to get) but that's so funny to me that a scar is there they just hide it 💀💀
Had such an amazing Halloween, getting to apply this super fun and nostalgic makeup for j.b._buchanan (insta) and mz_killah (insta) this year!
I haven’t watched Buffy in a LONG time but this was a great reason to dive back in!
I miss your incredible makeup looks, do you still do that?
I miss them, too!! I haven't done my makeup since early this year. I can actually count on one hand the number of times I've worn any makeup this year. I've been suffering from a lot of health issues, and I just....haven't been myself much since the beginning of the pandemic. I've had a lot of traumatic stuff happen in that window of time, so I'm focused on my health, for now.
But, that said, I'm gonna be making a big return to makeup and costume this halloween/haunt season since I was hired as a Line Entertainer at my local haunt!! I'm really excited to see all my friends and get back into immersive acting ♡

if you're having trouble removing some makeup, whip out the olive oil (also a great moisturizer 👍)
after washing off fake blood and you're left with a red stains on your skin, leave some shaving cream on it for a little bit. doesn't always work but it does help !!!
latex WILL pull out your hair. do your best to protect your hair in any way. bald caps, blocking brows, and if you're not worried about it just shave it off (i shave my brows off every october usually bc i hate blocking out my brows lol) (ben nye latex is my favourite)
[pond's] cold cream is a life saver. it's a good base if you start by putting it on and then washing off the excess with a wipe or a bit of toner on a cotton pad. great for melting away heavy grease paint! (there's a reason this shit has been around for 150 years okay) another excellent moisturizer.
ben nye bond off for literally all adhesives.
scarecrow brand for fangs. yeah they can be a touch expensive but once you've fit them you can use them forever and you can buy extra of the dental shit that fits them (whatever it's called is escaping me at the moment... adhesive i guess ???). but keep them safe and stored somewhere together you'll remember bc they're sooooo easy to lose. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY.
you can use cheap artist brushes for anything who gives a shit
