AVENTURAS

/ˌəven'to͞oɾes/ (ah-ven-TOO-res)

an original Cybertronian colony definitely inspired by seeing @dimorphodon-x and @cuppajj work on their super interesting colonies. this one is sort of themed after volcanoes, extremophiles, and cool rocks

Aventuras was not an intentional colony, instead caused by the crash of a Titan combiner team two million years ago. their gestalt is named Exosphere and formed an enormous Dyson sphere meant for harvesting raw materials, storing energy, and acting as a base of operations and hub for travel, exploration, and research. something went wrong when Exosphere traveled into this solar system, and they broke into their component members. the disastrous accidental nature of this colony means they have little to no record of Cybertron

five Titans crashing on a single planet caused a lot of devastation and sort of cyberformed it at the same time, altering the orbit until it stabilized as a tidally locked world. one side of the planet is sunlocked, an eternal hurricane at the centerpoint caused by the heat of the sun. the other half is shadelocked, frozen over and only lit by the glow of volcanic activity and city lights. most people are equally comfortable in the blinding sun and crushing dark, well adapted to the extreme environments of this world

speaking of volcanoes, the crash also set off a tectonic chain reaction that brutally reformed the continents and caused an extreme amount of volcanism that continues today. the world is covered in volcanoes, hotspots, fault lines, and geothermal vents. the constant ash released into the sky makes the planet rather dim, even in bright country, and blots out the stars in black country. this is not a problem for Aventuri mecha, who consider a stroll through lava to be no big deal :)

all the precious resources Exosphere had collected got dumped into the planet's mantle when the Titans crashed, and the volcanic activity keeps stirring things up and bringing materials to the surface. as such, Aventuras is ridiculously rich in resources. highly pure and powerful energon is plentiful, and materials like crysmag, ununtrium, and g-metal are found in high concentrations. the Aventuri, without knowledge of or contact with any other Cybertronian civilization, have no idea they're rich and take it for granted, treating these things as normal. they in fact require the more potent Aventuri energon to function, and would slowly weaken and starve on a diet of Cybertronian energon

the five Titans are named Triumpha, Odysseus, Stalwart, Fairwell, and Adamant. they were all pretty damaged in the crash and remain mostly dormant, so they haven't formed Exosphere in two million years. a lot of Exosphere's original staff were killed, and the survivors had a lot of trouble trying to mentor the mecha forged from sudden hotspots springing up from the Titans, especially since these hotspots were usually inside literal volcanic hotspots, and the newforged mecha were bobbing right up out of the lava! they did manage to convey who each Titan was and their importance to the planet and population, so the Titans are well cared for, but other information like their origins as an expedition launched by the Cybertronian Venture Association (the origin of the name Aventuras), the nature of Exosphere's disaster, and the camaraderie between each Titan has been mangled or mythologized over the millennia

there's a whole host of frametypes native to Aventuras! flightframes, grounders, toolformers, beastformers, multichangers, and others like aquaformers are all forged there, from defined hotspot zones. no combiners though (ironic when forged from the combiner Titans), and veeery few space-capable frames. but they all have two things in common:

each of them are forged with inlaid patterns in their armor called inclusions, filled with minerals and sometimes native metals, as if they were gilded with the riches of their colony. obsidian is the most common, and diamonds, olivines, garnets, basic quartzes, and sulfurs are also fairly common. any mineral is possible, even those that don't form in organic activity, with the exception of organic byproducts like amber, pearl, or fossils. each pattern of inclusions is unique to the individual like a fingerprint. crystal energon is the rarest type of inclusion and is highly prized, even sometimes given religious significance

considering this is a planet of extremophiles, all frames are "heavy duty" in some way. compared to the average Cybertronian, Aventuri are broader, thicker, stronger, and more durable. their armor plating is visibly bulkier and their construction heavier, even for petite frames. their alt modes will reflect this, as a grounder is more likely to be a truck, durable rover, or armored van than some sleek racer, and a flightframe will be a hardy jet instead of a light prop plane that wouldn't get anywhere against hurricane winds. beastformer alt modes reflect this as well, being exclusively extremophile species ranging from giant tardigrades to deep sea creatures to Andean flamingos

there are some exceptions to these rules, but that's the baseline for Aventuri characters

the majority of the population are also outliers of some kind! in fact, the "normal" people are more outliers than those with gifts or special abilities. thanks to the manifold cyberforming influence of the Titans and the abundance of energy, the hotspots produce very strong sparks and frames. point-one-percenters would be more accurately called fifty-five-percenters here. loadbearers, cityspeaking-capable processors, Titanmasters, and other special variants aren't unusual. again, there are exceptions to this rule, but by and large the standard of normal for Aventuri characters is being an outlier of some kind

the ability that probably a good 85-95% of everyone forged on Aventuras has naturally is extreme temperature tolerance, which is handy considering their particular planet. wading through lava is just a thing that (nearly) anybody can do, it's almost impossible to melt them, and it's not unusual for a regular job, commute, or living space to be situated partially or fully just in some active volcanoes. their main concern with volcanic activity is debris impact and earthquake damage, not heat or poisonous gasses, and nearly everybody has vent filters good enough to take care of the ash no problem. likewise, a lot of them are difficult to freeze. their metal wont go brittle in the negatives, they can produce enough internal heat to maintain their functions pretty well, and really only have to worry about the ice chewing up their internals rather than the actual cold. a good 80% of Aventuri are essentially immune to both heat and cold, with the majority of the rest essentially immune to one or the other, often depending on which side of the planet they were forged on

the Aventuri have split into five city-states, each assuming that their Titan must be prioritized over the others, and thus anyone forged from or living in a different Titan may be suspect. they've engineered social and political animosity between their societies from the moment each settlement expanded enough to meet one another, contrary to what Exosphere's surviving staff tried to teach them and to what the dazed Titans themselves actually want. they'll still work together when faced with a worldwide threat, but tensions will run high the whole time. most of the population lives either in the Titan capital cities, or in major cities founded in or around volcanoes. many other settlements exist only for mining, tourism, defense, or a similar functional reason, with a lot of the resources or profits funneled back to the capital

Triumpha is the Titan of the city-state Divinex, and she forms the capital city Jubilee. the Divinexi High Court is led by the Premier Belladonna. it's a very elegant, traditional society that emphasizes grace, strength, and a good public face, all of which are upheld by bitterly strict social hierarchies, stricter than similar hierarchies in the other city-states

Odysseus is the Titan of the city-state Ulysses, and he forms the capital city Albedo City. the Ulyssean Complement is led by the Captain Ironclad. most of Ulyssean territory is ocean, with vast, mostly self-governed networks of migratory ships, rooted seabed camps, and moving settlements across the ice

Stalwart is the Titan of the city-state Valius, and she forms the capital city Borion. the Valian Prefecture is led by the Praetors Bequest and Bequeath. their culture values nobility, responsibility, and chivalry, fancying themselves the protectors of their state and their people like valiant knights

Fairwell is the Titan of the city-state Nova Spectra, and they form the capital city Darkeye. the Spectral Circle is led by the Guide Crux. it's a quiet society, withdrawn from interstate politicking, focused more on the spirituality and sanctity of the world at large, valuing the eye of the eternal hurricane in their territory as a pilgrimage site

Adamant is the Titan of the city-state Temperon, and he forms the capital city Vindixus. the Temperic Mastery is led by the Chief Officer Deepwar. this is the most industrialized society, with a lot of weapons development and reckless experimentation, soot-stained ice dampening the explosions

unfortunately for the city-states who want to stare each other down, Aventuras is faced with worldwide threats. before Exosphere's crash, the planet was a Vok experiment. upon discovering about half a million years ago their observations on the developing organic life had been ruined by an invasion of Cybertronian colonists, the irritated Vok began a long term revenge campaign. pirates, mercenaries, and other alien ne'er-do-wells have been hired or encouraged to raid Aventuras and rain terror on the ignorant population, who have no idea what this retaliation is for. the attacks aren't constant but they've been ramping up, with the likes of Lord Gyconi and Zabra behind more costly raids, with "prizes" taken. on at least two occasions, the Vok have managed to organize a complete planetary blockade and bombardment, and the Aventuri managed to scrape together enough interstate cooperation to drive them off. this threat is a major reason the city-states continue to work together on defense development and production despite internal animosity

some of the Vok experiments did in fact survive, as organic life still exists on Aventuras! most of it is hardy plant life and invertebrates like bugs and crustaceans, with a lot of undersea species too. but in some small, hidden parts of the world, larger lifeforms survived. minor mountaintop forests and tundra with a variety of animals are scattered throughout the dim country between light and dark, along the Sunstill Isthmus and the Venera Mountains especially. none of them are sapient, but all of them have adapted to the extreme conditions of the planet. some people have taken it upon themselves to protect and preserve these rare gardens, so organic life has some hope yet

Aventuri is a planet of industry, both because of their natural abundance of resources and because of their minor arms race with one another and their alien attackers. they aren't really capable of prolonged spaceflight yet, and there are very few flightframes able to escape orbit, so that's been a scientific pursuit for the last few centuries. the main goal at the moment is to reach the planet's five teeny tiny moons. with the increased level of observation and study lately, some folks are noticing that one of the moons may be more than meets the eye...

if they're successful or lucky enough, who knows? maybe Cybertron may discover its lost gilded colony

I finally found the Vehicon's name he's Shadelock and he's a miner turned bounty hunter

Imma make him the leader with Hookshaw as another right servo mech and Shadelock becomes a pirate that's friends with Team Prime while Hookshaw rises with Steve and Axel to become the head voices of the ex-Nemesis troops

Shadelock is such a badass name. *SHAKES*

I looked him up, and I STILL don’t remember him. 🥲

But he has a cool name, so now I’m gonna read up on him and see if he passes the vibe check.

literally anything. what do you like most about it. what excites you. go off king

omg ripoff mtmte/ll polaris adventure time!!!

so polaris is a ship. that's only the placeholder name for it, i'm still trying to find one i REAAALLY like

near the end of the war, there was this really intense battle at the spacebridge and the allspark was at the center of it. the autobots were trying to get it away from the decepticons and jetfire was carrying it, ready to fly through the spacebridge right when a poorly aimed shot hits the bridge instead of him right when he enters and then the whole thing explodes. jetfire's life signal goes offline, the signature of the allspark is lost. this event was what finally caused megatron and optimus to declare the war over. their planet had suffered enough and without the allspark, things would only grow worse if they continued fighting.

things are pretty rocky after that. even with both leaders agreeing to end things, peace can be hard to achieve after fighting for so long. people are even more discouraged without the allspark. except for some, like nightbeat. he doesn't understand how something so powerful can just be destroyed so quickly. he starts doing some research, gets some help from his scientist friend proxima, then does more of his own stuff before reaching a breakthrough. he's able to discover energy signals that are a near-perfect match for the allspark with only some slight deviations. regardless, something like that can't be ignored. if there's a chance the allspark can be recovered, they have to take it!! he tells his buddies proxima and hardhead first (i made nightbeat and hardhead friends because hardhead shot him that one time in idw and i thought it'd be funny)

then they tell optimus and he tells megatron. after that, a mission gets created. nightbeat gets to captain a ship that will set off to retrieve all these allspark fragments. the catch is that autobots and decepticons are free to volunteer for the mission. if they cant work together on something as important as this then geez guys We Really Are Fucked™

characters on board this ship are: nightbeat, hound, chromia, hardhead, blurr, proxima, first aid, pipes, honk (they're actually a stowaway), punch/counterpunch, shadelock, dead end, browning, squawktalk, acceleron, and javelin. there would probably be more but also they like. wouldn't be that important.

they'd try to quantum jump to the first allspark fragment and discover that it doesn't work. they try again. and again. and then a fourth time just for extra measure, each time with a different fragment location. something's preventing them from getting there immediately. nightbeat gets excited because that means the allspark has some kind of defense system. how far does this go?? is it sentient? can it do more in its broken state??? there's so much to discover!!! then he realizes "wait this isn't exactly a good thing. this might take a lot longer than i thought"

since velocitron's close by, they stop by there to refuel real quick. velocitron was lucky enough to never be affected by the war. they closed down their spacebridge and basically went "bye fuckers" for millions of years and did their own thing. so when their regular scheduled programming gets interrupted by these bots and cons who are distrustful of each other they're like "wowzers you guys look like you got hit by an asteroid"

they're pretty quick about their business there and are well on their way when chromia discovers honk hiding. naturally she sees this little guy and is like "??? who the fuck are you???" but they're allowed to stay. they become besties with pipes and get adopted by blurr and hardhead. it's great

okay but back to more of the plot. airachnid is a main antag in the story. she has vehicons and various decepticons under her command. you see, a lot of decepticons eventually split off and did their own thing. she was one of them. she comes into possession of an allspark fragment. having just one grants her a ton of benefits and as a collector, she thinks it'd be fun to get ALL of them. i've been thinking about introducing soundblaster too. he overhears some radio chatter about the whole thing and wants in. he's also got his own faction and outpost

it's a race for the allspark shards complete with bonding and side quests and terror and even some possible character death!!! it's a very fun ride

Forbidden Magic- Payment

“You are sure he is one?”

“As many as I’ve brought you and you still question me?”

Prowl ignored the exchange. He was tired, beyond tired. His frame ached. His helm ached. But neither pain came close to the pain in his spark. There was small comfort in knowing that his creations had escaped the hunters, but that was all it was. A small comfort.

Had Smokescreen been able to make it to Ratchet? He knew that they were not dead, but that was all. Hurt, lost… beyond his ability to help… He had fought.

A jerk to his chevron brought his helm up, and Prowl found himself staring into the cold optics of a priest. He was marked as priest of Primus, one of the high priests no less. Prowl’s spark went cold as his tired processor supplied a designation to match the faceplates.

Lifespark.

It was his designation that was signed to all of the proclamations and ordinances condemning Prowl’s kind. It was his closest disciples that spread the word from city to town to village all across Praxus. He had been high priest longer than any other on record, his spark and frame seemingly ageless.

“Witches garden in full season behind his hab.” Shadelock elaborated. “Bags all packed to run with supplies that won’t spoil and concoctions that the average mecha wouldn't know what to do with. And final proof?”

The dark plated hunter held out a cracked crystal, a the keystone that Prowl had used as he fought to give his creations time to flee. “Laid out two of my band with this before we could get it away from him. Set two more on their heels with a short blade.”

Lifespark took the dull crystal shard and rolled it in his servo critically before nodding once. “Very well. You will be paid your standard rate. I will take care of this abomination, and all of it’s tools. See Abacus. He will have your payment, and another lead.”

“In Praxus?” Shadelock demanded as he let go of Prowl’s chevron, allowing the his helm to fall forward again.

‘Monoplex.”

“Mono-. Forget it.”

The cold optics flashed. “What did you say?” The high priests voice was soft, but the threat was there, an undercurrent of icey warning.

“I said forget it.” Shadelock repeated, refusing to back down, one servo resting on his hip as he met the priests optics squarely. “Sure, Praxis is convinced that witch-coded mecha are the spawn of Unicron, but that only goes so far. Catching this one in Polyhex was a trick. You aren’t paying me enough to keep hunting them that far.”

“They are an abomination. They must be destroyed by the will of Primus-”

“Save the slag-speech.” The hunter interrupted. “I do it for the credits, not the good will of your god. Not my problem that you’ve managed to hunt down all the ones close. I don’t care why you want them or what you do with them, but if I’m risking life and limb hunting them outside of Praxus, my rate’s tripled.”

Prowl felt as much heard the hiss of anger that escaped the priest, and it sent a tiny shudder through his frame. There was something deeply malevolent about the sound. Beside him, even Shadelock seemed knocked back a bit, though the hunter stood his ground with continued confidence and bravado.

“If you will not serve the will of Primus, I shall find one that will. Out..” Lifespark ordered.

“Yah, good luck with that. If you change your processor let me know.”” Shadelock quipped as he departed.

Okay your Eradicon video ruled too. I spent a good number of years roleplaying as individual ones on tumblr with folks, so I am absolutely a sympathizer. One actually just brought up the theory on them playing dead not long ago, so it was great to see you posing that idea as well. I also never thought I’d end it feeling compelled to watch RiD, but I had no idea Shadelock existed, and his concept is AWESOME.

I'm glad you like those videos! They're so old now and were recorded on my phone, so I'm a little embarrassed about them haha, but people still tell me they like them!

seriously, tell me all about it, I wanna hear about the things that make you happy!

THIS IS SO SWEET 🥺🥺 ANON thank you for indulging me!!!!

I'll pick something small that I don't think I've talked about before: Starscream's hired mercenaries!!!

In canon he hires a bunch of bounty hunters to track down mini-cons that he'd lost track of. I've done a LOT of research on them for my AU and I absolutely adore them!!

From left to right we've got: RoughEdge, Razorhorn, and Shadelock!!

RoughEdge is a former Autobot (his insignias are scratched out on his shoulders, and one of the showrunners said it's not bc of a political statement, but bc the long years of war scuffed them up a bit, and I think that is SO COOL). He also has a "vocal condition" which is never explained or touched on literally at all, so he doesn't speak (save for the occasional grunt/yell during combat), but 🥺🥺 I'm always soft for characters who have vocal and/or hearing conditions just like meee. He also has pretty yellow optics under his visor <3

Razorhorn is an Insecticon!! He doesn't have any lines... and his name was never mentioned in the show until one of the showrunners revealed it on his website... and that's... really all the info I have about him. I love him. I love his scary teef.

Shadelock is my favorite of the bounty hunters!! He used to be a Vehicon, but took charge of his own life after the war, AND I THINK THAT IS SO AWESOME. He does the most communication w/ Starscream since the other two mercenaries don't often speak. He's described as someone who is "completely fine with atrocious acts" (like murdering on sight ig) but he doesn't take pleasure in it like you'd expect, he just sees it as a job that he's gonna get paid for. He's really cool-headed and I loooove his design.

For my AU, Starscream hires them not just to find the mini-cons but also to find "a human with long hair and many spots on her skin" and he gives them one of the missing posters for them to look at. And they're just like... yeah ok the former SiC of the Decepticons is gonna pay us more than plenty to find mini-cons and some random human that happened to stop the war for two years and somehow capture the spark of literally everybody in their own faction, including the fucking leader of the Decepticons. Hm. That's fine. We love getting paid. Whatever he wants to do with mini-cons and one very specific human is none of our business.

And they keep bringing back humans who might look similar to Keri but they're obviously not her. One after another every few hours for several months they bring back a girl w/ long brown hair and he's like "this one doesn't have spots" and they try again and he hisses "this one doesn't have brown optics, are you not paying attention to my very clear instructions??"

(Plus I'm very weak for the idea of Starscream, at first, when being told "we found her!" getting all hopeful, walking forward with his hands out as a nonthreatening gesture, softening his voice and saying "Keri, darling, it's me, it's Starscream, your Starlight! you must recognize my voice, surely? I know I look different, but I promise I'm still--" but once he gets closer and studies her face and finds out that he isn't talking to Keri but just some girl who looks a little bit like her, then he immediately shouts "WAIT THIS ISN'T EVEN HER HOW CAN YOU MESS UP THIS BADLY. YOU, PATHETIC HUMAN, FORGET EVERYTHING I TOLD YOU -- NO I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO WITH THE FLESHY JUST GET IT OUT OF MY SIGHT")

And the mercenaries are just CONFUSED CONSTANTLY, because HEY BOSS you told us to find a little human with brown hair, brown optics, spots all over her flesh, THIS IS WHO WE FOUND. WHY DO YOU NEED SOMEONE SO SPECIFIC, ALL HUMANS ARE THE SAME ANYWAYS, THEY'RE GROSS AND FLESHY AND EASY TO SQUISH

At one point Shadelock makes a comment, not to be malicious but just as a general statement "you can have any old human as your Conjunx if you want one so bad, I don't think the one you're searching for is alive anymore, or even worth anyone's time at this point" and STSC does That Thing™:

BECAUSE I'M OBSESSED WITH THAT ^^^^^^^^^

Anyway.

After the right human is found they're just staring at her across the vessel while Starscream is hugging and sobbing her name and Shadelock is just... staring her down. Not in a menacing way, but just... studying her.

And she's confused because she doesn't remember half of her relationship w/ Starscream or any other bots for that matter, plus she doesn't know why he's so emotional and hugging her so tightly, what he could possibly mean by "I'm so glad I found you" -- where the hell has she been, exactly? And she can't understand why he looks so different. So not only is she like "I don't understand what's going on" but she's kind of unsettled now because there's this big bad evil scary robot eyeing her across the vessel, too.

And later when they're in Starscream's command center of his ship he is still just staring at her. Saying nothing. And all of the other mercenaries are just STARING at her. At one point Shadelock is about to approach her, kneel down to her level and ask her a question, but by that point she's lightly tugging on Starscream's claws, going completely nonverbal and shutting off, and he notes her discomfort bc he knows his girl by heart, so he says something along the lines of "okay ALL OF YOU need to leave us alone now or I'll offline you, thanks for the help you literally did not give me. all of you are disappointments. go find the mini-cons, if you can actually handle that, and if you do, I'll pay you and we can finally get on with our lives. also if you disturb me and my Conjunx in ANY WAY, if walk in on us without knocking, if you so much as BREATHE in our direction, I will not hesitate to fire my missiles, bitch"

Dear Seeker Surveyor,

Ah, I know those individuals! I can do more than name them—I can also tell you a fair bit about them as well! Following from left to right, let us begin.

The first is Downpour, an inventor who developed the technology used by the "Rainmakers". The second is Heatsink, a fiery-tempered 'bot who, alongside her sister, menaced Autobots with heat-based weaponry. Following her is Breakaway, one of the few members of the Seeker squadron in his universe to defect to the Autobots, and after him, we have Shadelock, who became a feared mercenary for-hire.

The first of the second row is Blanks; lacking the ability to generate hardlight rounds from his nullrays, he was forced to become a master of close-range combat. Next is Overcast, a long-overlooked tactician who chafed at his low ranking among the Rainmakers—he once attempted to give himself a more "intimidating" designation, but it never caught on. The third is Quick Silver, who was constructed using a pirated personality component, giving him a fear of heights he could never determine the reasoning behind. Finally, we end with Snowblind, sister to Heatsink, whose cool head balanced her sister's fiery impulses.

As is the case with most things, so much more could be said of each of them... but this shall do for now, I think.

more Aventuri mecha! it's actually been insanely fun reaching back five years to resurrect the shapeless abandoned OCs and give them form for this colony

Skamma is a bold, enterprising bot with a lot of big ideas! ideas that will capture the minds and the wallets of many a client, enriching their imaginations while she enriches herself, before she scampers away as the market bubble pops, the investments fail, and the business pursuit grinds to a halt. somehow, none of the hundreds of bad reviews manage to prevent Skamma from shilling her latest scam to eager new buyers, of which there are plenty in industrial Temperon. if business gets real bad, well, good thing she got her hands on that universal travel pass a few years ago, she'll simply find better customers in other city-states! although she has no outlier ability other than typical Aventuri extremophilic adaptations, her compact all-terrain trike mode serves her equally well on snow and stone, and her radium inclusions light the way in shadelocked Temperon. Primus help us if Skamma and Swindle ever meet

Sledge is a simple mech, with a simple alt mode, simple jasper inclusions, and a simple life. he enjoys his job as a courier, battling hurricane winds to transport cargo from one Nova Spectra city to another. it's a daily test of strength he is more than capable of winning as a sturdy jet, and though he may be on the lower end of the social scale, he sticks with the contractors who treat him fairly. a lot of his work is schlepping archives, artifacts, and ritual objects between Tributic shrines throughout Spectral's pilgrimage territory. many shamans have noticed he's sharp as a tack, genial, and dutifully patient, and lately Sledge has been offered a place as shrine staff in Central Sola. that's more than he ever expected to be offered as someone with no abilities beyond Aventuri durability, considering the majority of shrine staff are high-level outliers, but still he struggles to make a decision. that's not really the kind of lifestyle he pictures himself pursuing. what's a simple mech to do?

Glitterswarm is nice! she's nice, and she tries very hard to be nice, and it's very important to her to be nice. she doesn't want to hurt anybody, and the nicer she is to people, the more likely they are to help her! and she certainly needs a lot of help, considering she was recovered out in the ice floes of the Bitter Sea, half-dead, stuck in her amphibious alt mode, and totally amnesiac. the records of the Ulyssean capital Albedo City have her written down as a casualty of an alien raid several centuries ago, so the fact that she's turned up again on Aventuras, traumatized but alive, is a miraculous mystery. she used to be a caretaker for newly forged mecha, particularly adept considering her outlier ability: she's a nanohive, a frame with a swarm of nanobots that act as an extension of herself. before, she was steady and skilled enough to heal wounds, reprogram circuitry, support a slippery grip, display holograms, and more, using the nanobots streaming from her vents without a second thought. now, though, she's nervous and uncertain, with a shaky grasp of her own abilities. it takes a lot of effort just to polish her ametrine inclusions, much less look after anyone else. maybe someday she'll regain her memories, but for now she's trying to find her feet again, mothering anyone who will let her in an effort to cover her own anxiety
