The "sunshine" Elain needs may not be the assumed heir to Day, after all

Disclaimer: once again, this is just a parallel I've noticed, which may or may not be important.
In the ACOWAR quote below, Elain mentioned that she needed "sunshine."
After Lucien's paternity was called into question - Feyre and Rhys strongly suspect that Helion, High Lord of the Day Court, is his true father - this may appear to some to be foreshadowing Elain and Lucien becoming involved romantically, and even accepting their bond at some point. Respectfully, however, I'm not so sure I agree.
Not only was Lucien unable to tell what was going on with Elain's yet to be discovered Sight, which was causing her trouble at the time - Madja said a mate should be able to sense this, and he was unable to do so (please don't come at me as if I'm suggesting this was some sort of moral failing on his behalf, it's simply canon, and not his fault) - whereas Azriel could, whether by inclination or simply by taking the time to figure it out, but... if "sunshine" is code for "Lucien," why did Elain react the way she did to his presence, sidling away from him towards Nesta?
Should she not have been comforted by their bond, rather than describing it as "strange"? I agree that Elain being uncomfortable around Lucien at that point in time could have been due to his presence with Tamlin at Hybern, and maybe she will move past those events, but it seems telling that Elain's own words identified sunshine as a requirement, directly after which she moved away from Lucien, the person who is most likely to be described by such a metaphor (behind Mor and Elain, of course).
Conversely, Azriel - the Night Court's shadowsinger and spymaster - spent quiet time with Elain in the garden, during which she appeared to be at peace, and discovered that there was in fact nothing wrong with her, that she had been Made a Seer, thereby allowing Elain to drag herself up from the murky dream world in which she had been trapped. I think it's key to note here that Elain's confusion seemed to stem from a lack of understanding of her new and unknown magic, not that her mind needed to be healed (though obviously she had a lot of trauma to work through at that point, and it'll be interesting to see just how far she has come in the meantime, with the help of family and friends).
Setting aside the question of how Azriel knew that nothing was wrong with Elain's mind, he was the only one, apparently, who took the time to figure it out, and didn't write her off as her sisters and mate had done; and no shame to Feyre and Nesta for not registering this, because they're in the same boat as Elain and probably didn't realise that being a Seer was even an option, but Amren, who is 15,000 years old?! Surely she should have suspected something, if being a Seer was common. But instead it was Azriel, who gave Elain not only knowledge about her newfound power - and don't forget that knowledge is a form of power, which is essentially the function of a Seer to begin with - but he acknowledged that she would be useful - that she was needed! - which is something I doubt Elain has heard very much in her life, as it appears that she is frequently reduced to her good looks and marriageability, rather than any skills she may have. I would not be surprised to learn that it meant quite a bit to her.
But I digress... in a fun twist of events, Azriel's shadows have even been likened to sunshine...
I've spoken before about the text not describing Az's shadows as running from Elain - rather, they simply seem to disappear (the language described has no negative connotations) - and hypothesised that the shadows may actually become invisible, if they can transition, chameleon like, along a spectrum* from dark to light, with see-through being a true neutral in the middle, and used the passage below in that discussion, but it struck me that Feyre described Azriel's shadows as having lightened into "sunshine" specifically.
* As an aside, could "shadows" be affected by mood, similar to patronus charms, and could this be potentially relevant to any differences between shadowsingers and lightsingers?
Could this be a hint that Azriel - who both took Elain into the sun that he also values, and whose shadows (or whatever they truly may be) are capable of becoming sunlight - is who she really needs in the end? How poetic is it then, that a happy and smiling Elain can cause Azriel's shadows to brighten from all the way across the room? Very.
You guys know how Shadow was created to be the ultimate life form? Well, I have a theory about his biology. I’ve recently learned that some scorpions have something called “book lungs”, which helps them hold their breath for up to six days. Most can only hold it for two, but of course, there’s a few try hards. If Shadow was created to be the ultimate life form, then it’s extremely likely he was created to survive as many scenarios as possible, including drowning, so maybe he has these “book lungs” as well. I don’t know if this part is true, but I think these lungs also help the organism breathe through their skin. If this is true and Shadow can also do it, then suffocating him would likely be very difficult.
If my theory is true, it makes me feel a bit happier about my idea of Shadow taking naps in bodies of water.
Edit: I realized there’s a possibility he might’ve actually been created to hold his breath for longer…

A teen no one knows and looks like he could be a wayne, stands in the cave.
"Actually, I'm a wayne." He says with a shrug.
Bruce, Batman, carefully thinks of the implication.
"Not yet," The teen, Danny, doesn't say anything. Simple smiles. "You're not a wayne, yet. You will be. But not yet."
Then Bruce sighs, dropping the batman mask in order to take in the teen.
"Does future me know of the time travel?"
Dannys smile grows into a grin, deciding to take pity on the man. "You, grandbat, have..." He makes a vague gesture. "Theories, which none of your children ever confirmed."
The bat's mind short-circuits at the choice of words
Dick is sputtering incomprehensibly, there are Baffled expression all around.
Because.
Because that child isn't Bruce's, but one of theirs.
"Who is it?" Jason demands, hand clenching his gun uselessly.
Danny continues to smile, a hint of mischief now peeking out.
The cave is filled with theories, some yell, some sob, yet all eyes leave danny.
All but one pair.
She had known the moment his body language switched just enough for her to read.
She had known the moment he disappeared before the clan.
Had known when his hand found hers, shoulders bumping.
Her heart clenches, throat dry and memories of her childhood flooding to mind.
So she asks, voice soft and hesitant.
"Am I a good mother?"
And danny looks up at cass, adoration and pride laid out plain for her to see and accept.
"You're the best."
And so they both watch the clan together, silent and comfortable.
(Cass doesn't question when she finds him, how and why. All she knows is that she's more attentive when out on patrol, looking and waiting.)
(This is how Cassandra Cain-Wayne returns one night from patrol, a child, barely out of toddler stage and clinging to her form.)
(This is how the Batclan officially meets one Daniel James Cain-Wayne, freshly washed and clothed, a cookie in hand and hiding shyly behind Cass.)
(When they meet, all they say is "Welcome home, danny," and "Good to see you again.", Danny doesn't necessarily get it, but that's okay. Maybe his new mom will explain it one day when he's bigger.)
So, this spell we see in the Shadow of the Erdtree trailer:
It appears to be a mass version of the same effect as the Bewitching Branch item, it even has the same particle effects.
The Bewitching Branch, of course, is an item associated with Miquella that turns enemies into allies. It appears that the spell in the trailer is doing the same thing. This spell is likely a version of a power that Miquella has.
Now let's compare this dialog from the beginning of the trailer:
"He wields love to shrive clean the hearts of men. There is nothing more terrifying."
To the description for the Bewitching Branch:
The Empyrean Miquella is loved by many people. Indeed, he has learned very well how to compel such affection.
We already know that Miquella was good at "compelling" love from others, but now we're being told that this power is terrifying and dangerous. We hear of many people who love Miquella in the base game, the most important examples being Malenia and Mohg. We must wonder, then, was this love genuine or compelled?
What if Miquella is the one who compelled Mohg to capture him? What if Miquella being torn from the Haligtree and bled dry by Mohg was actually part of his plan to reach the Land of Shadow? The YouTube description for the trailer says:
It was to this land (the Land of Shadow) that Miquella departed. Divesting himself of his flesh, his strength, his lineage. Of all things Golden
What if Mohg's fucked up ritual was a necessary step in Miquella's "divestment"?
What if instead of the tragic victim we all thought he was, Miquella was actually pulling the strings all along?
I think we are all someone else’s shadow. We have a shadow and are shadow to another. The dark image of someone else IE those traits that they want desperately but can never have because it would destroy their self image, we have those. And then someone else has those for us as well. We are attracted and repulsed to these people all at once. It can be romantic or sexual but it doesn’t have to be, it can be violent or toxic but it doesn’t have to be. The point is that evermore we must be near them and keep them close, because they could complete or destroy us and then there is another who we could complete or destroy in turn.
That’s what attracts me to the theory of the shadow by Jung, the Double by Dostoevsky, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Frankenstein. We all have a monster and are a monster in turn
Hi there.
Welcome to Brodie Street. Or if you followed us back in the day Welcome Back. It's been a minute since we've been active (and never really embraced social media) but we're here now and we're getting back to business.
As some people know from following us on Instagram and Facebook, we're playing Festival One in a couple of weeks. It's our first show back in quite some time and we're excited, nervous, blessed, and roaring to go all at the same time. Five years away has been very weird (and most of this was not planned, but life happens) and we've never been more ready but also never been more nervous about a show in our lives. Even with all this said, we still can't wait to kick off this new era of live shows and craziness.
Last year, we released our first album since 2017 "Shadow Theory" (stream at the link below) but never got to really tour it due to a few factors (most of them are too heartbreaking to talk about) but that album has captured our journeys up until that point (covering the pandemic years and some of the things that happened during it- such as losing the ones you love, the fear of love, the burning of bridges you thought would always stand strong, and that somehow love exists in the chaos).
We're still figuring out how to play some of it live (pandemic albums seem to be like that), but we hope that you enjoy what we've figured out so far and that as we continue to flesh these songs out on the road you'll enjoy them too.
Five odd years later, we're back and we're ready to play for you again. There are plans beyond the festivals we're doing this summer for new music and more shows but can't speak on that just yet. For now, onwards with Festival One and the adventures to come.
See you soon.

the opening lines of the shadow of the erdtree trailer remind me a LOT of a certain quote from another game:
and with this in mind, i really hope that the direction they go with miquella is less like the manipulative griffith-esque archetype some people are theorizing, and more like N’s characterization in pokemon black and white: someone very intelligent and powerful but naïve, whose honest attempts at creating a better world might bring about more destruction in the end.
Another thing I noticed on rewatch: Laszlo stops laughing in the dinner scene way before the others do! As soon as Guillermo starts the bit about dracula, his mood shifts. He repeats "dracula?" In that inquisitive voice and you can see him solemnly tapping the table waiting for the others to catch on. I know he says he didn't know thats what was the case in episode 2, but i like to think he at least considered it seriously before the others did and just hoped it was actually the stomach issues thing
I just skimmed through the art part of your blog and holy bajeebus your LMK art is so beautiful and the headcanon ideas you come up with are so good I wanna steal em-
Kinda wanna see like a part 2 of the little angst you did between MK and Macaque a while ago. It's so interesting and I wanna see Macaque's reaction in your art style. (You don't have to of course, it's just a suggestion [idk if i spelled that right])
Thanks for reading and hope you have a good day/night!
