HE'S... PERPLEXED. What is this, some kind of trick? This demon was incapable of rest, that much he knew. At least, Shadow thought that to be the case. What the hell... If Mephiles believed he could get one over on the hybrid with some out of left field gesture, he'd be sorely mistaken. But then again, maybe smacking the demon away in offence was what his evil doppleganger wanted. A strong reaction. Shadow fumes quietly, stiff as a board as he watches Mephiles carefully.

          wherever he had come from didn’t matter,  apparently  /  instead of any shock or surprise at sudden appearance,  there’s a purr.  he knows the aura of other hedgehog very well to recognize it almost instantaneously.  how sweet of him to pay a surprise visit !

          “  is THIS how you say HELLO now ?  ”  there’s a chuckle  /  fleetway opts to angle his head as to give a playfully affectionate nuzzle rather than turn to face mephiles properly  (  curious to how he would react  ) .
