13 years ago, i was examining pitcher plants and found the tiniest american toadlet within one [i wasnt sure if it was stuck or just stealing flies from the plant, and figured i would err on the side of caution and freed it]

This is the dream. I am always looking into pitcher plants and bromeliads at shops, in the hopes of discovering a stow-away.

The picture on your hand is a bit low-res, but I do not think it looks like a toad. Would need close-ups from a couple angles to be able to tell.

3 What would your tiny/giant home look like?

So I'm not sure if it's like, the intended meaning of this question, but me and @adjacentperception for a bit were designing a 'concept house' in The Sims to represent where we like to play with our dingdongs in the mind-space while we're doing casual RPs and stuff, and I loved that. A cozy spot, very gay, with lots of little chairs and tables around for the tinies to come lounge with us, a tiny bathtub on the side of the regular sized bathtub, because I mean... of course. I have a thing about baths, ok. Shelves and stacks of books and everything around, tiny ladders and stairs to try and make things as accessible as possible. I feel like if I was in a real G/t scenario my house would be full of like the little cat-shelf highways, tiny stairs and stuff everywhere just so nobody had to depend on me all the time just to get around, I'd try to have lots of amenities in easier-to-access areas so it's not a twenty-forty minute hike to get food if you want something from the kitchen, etc.

Catch me swingin' rope-bridges and yarn-woven ladders all around the place.

@pocket-ozwynn also asked this one! My favourite size trope? Tiny needing to be rescued by a big. Always and forever my favourite. Very close runner up is 'accidentally shrunk by/around a friend'. For me it's about the interactions between a big and a small, not just 'I'm small and need to navigate this place', the dynamics are important to me!

12 If you suddenly grew/shrunk where you are right now, what would happen?

Shrunk? One or both of my cats would absolutely come after me. The younger one, especially, would be a terror. I'd probably need to worry about trying to get out of the recliner and out from under my big ol' comfy blanket I like to chill under this time of year first, and depending on my size I could try to make it to the desk to use my phone if my keyboard and mouse proved to be too much of a pain to use (I pull the keyboard tray out and rest it on my lap across the armrests of the recliner). After that, if the cats don't bother me then I'd just be trying to dodge my roommate as much as humanly possible because they are not like... yeah I don't want to deal with them in that way and have no trust they could like... handle anything on their own. Just... no. I'd try to get one of the very few trusted friends to come over and get me someplace safe. [I would be texting @shadsasaur probably. I'd at least know that there'd be good coffee at their place even if I'd still be dodgin' cats]

If I grew? Depends on how big but I'd immediately be embarrassed because I basically only wear a bathrobe at home and god I hate the idea of being like... a giant around a bunch of people. Again with the dodging of the roommate, mostly again because I don't trust they would know what to do or would be capable of figuring out something helpful to do on their own. They're just not that kinda guy. I would also just fully accept that I wouldn't be getting any kind of a damage deposit back and would likely be evicted due to the damage.

maybe stupid question, but is there anything stopping a person from being a member of two parties? as much as i'd like to try and get Chong ahead of the others, id be worried it would cause issues joining if i also do NDP things.

I believe political parties frown upon that, but unless you’re loud about your support of another party I don’t think they’ll notice.

Neither could I translate Mym’s line as I was not sure if she meant Jupiter was calling Zodiark’s face dumb, or just calling Zodiark dumb.

I have to be honest, I didn’t really do anything to temper it. I just use Ghirardelli melting discs. They melt so smooth and they don’t burn! And the shine is partly because of some new molds I got--if you’re going to do filled truffles, you gotta use smooth plastic molds, not silicone ones.

Why does Square Enix hate me so much.  I was saving all my growth eggs for Zell specifically, but it looks like I’m gonna have to use a bunch just to get to him.

I’m so pissed at this goddamn game.

Every other FF8 character was available in an event, but they keep fuckin me over with this one.  But who knows, maybe we’ll get Zell in an event too...  There was that one screenshot you showed me where he was with Seifer, so maybe that will happen... eventually... T_T

Haha, yeah, they kind of do turn into were-nads! I think we have all met that person who turns into a giant sack of genitals at some point in our lives. The worms only do it once a year though, when the season, tides, and lunar cycle all come together just right. And then they die afterward, thank heavens.

But man, the article makes it sound like there are only two methods of epitoky, when in reality it only just gets crazier. There are worms that grows clusters of epitokes off their backs...

There’s also a worm that just grows an endless chain of them. How many epitokes you want? A THOUSAND?!

STORYTIME we have a wdtv box hooked to our tv that accesses a server full of things. once upon a time i was trying to get lex to watch something and he kept not doing it. so i changed the filename of the first ep to something that sounded like ladyporn and he found it, clicked it, then he realized it was a trap and stopped. the next day i go to watch Some Animes and realize.. he renamed files in revenge. the server now has a bunch of ouran highschool *Ghost* club. now thats my main memory of it.
