oh i SURE DO. honestly there are So many good fics in this fandom it'd be impossible to list them all but here are some of my all time favourites
the spectres vain and no great revelations (WIP) by QuickYoke (because how can i not rec roman's work, they are *chef's kiss* so good)
literally anything by novel_concept26 is a given obvs
bloom town (WIP) and the wilds and the weeds by not_my_name (iconic and incredibly fun aus yeehaw 🤠)
like salt infusing the sea by glutamate (the agonizing yearning is...So good)
it's all or nothing and to catch them if they fall (WIP) by andawaywego (one an Incredible but agonizing married at first sight au and the other a fascinating superhero au)
obstacles by shananigans402 (a lot more than what it seems, a lot of intense build up)
these are just...the bare few. i am well aware i'm missing so many big classics but if kept going this list would just be incredible long. honestly, please feel free to peruse my ao3 bookmarks for a lot more.

it hasn’t been asked! i’m actually really bad about reading (and commenting on stuff i read) for this fandom!! i feel terrible and need to be better. don’t be like me, kids. always review. BUT. these are a few of my loves.
Love Will Find a Way by @litniche: super super cute. i absolutely adore their dynamic in this and litniche has such a way with words! read it, read it, read it.
Obstacles by @shananigans402: this is so good. i struggle for words. i am not a fan of student/teacher AU’s but this is NOT that (not really) and shananigans really really sells it.
you and me (forevermore) by lady_liserator: i love love this one. so sweet. def my favorite post-show fic. it’s so sweet and gentle. cannot recommend enough!

I think we need a "shananigans402 defense squad" after the last chapter 😂😂. Pure evil!!
How I wished this chapter was in Jamie's point of view. The only thing worst than angst is not knowing if it really was an angst 🤭 imagine being so worried about Jamie's odd behaviour, coming up with endless theories, only turning out to be something like Jamie having this epiphany that she is falling in love with Dani and not knowing how to deal with it 🙈
This chapter Jamie gave me Bly Manor Jamie vibes from the scene when Dani jumps up scared from their kiss and Jamie gets all distant.
Such an unexpected chapter though. Loved it!! ♥️♥️♥️
Wait...is the shananigans402 defense squad to protect ME or to protect you all from me? Very important difference.
If it was in Jamie’s pov that would ruin the fun! And the angst! Who knows, maybe it could be that. Maybe it could be something else entirely. I shall not say!
Aww yeah I didn’t really think about that parallel as I was writing it, but totally. With Dani just being all sad and helpless as she watched Jamie leave and tries to get her to stay. Yep yep yep, I see it.

I've been a fan of your work since the early W&W days and I remember reading something in the comments about you wanting to write a vampire au? Is that still one of the ideas you would like to develop if you continue writing fan fiction?
Oh wow I forgot that was discussed in the comments 🤣 (probably between @raginage and @shananigans402 and I). Honestly, that idea kind of evolved into another idea which evolved into something completely different, which is the idea I am most considering potentially writing, but I do like the idea of vampire Jamie so unless someone else does it in the meantime, it’s a possibility!
