MASS EFFECT: Sionainn Shepard
Spacer — War Hero — Engineer — Paragon
Meet my newest Shep: Sionainn! Life's been hard, I've been sad, and my friends have been enablers, so I decided to make the "self-insert plus size Shepard" as best I could to play along with the fics I'll be writing! Of course this came on the heels of me changing the name of my OG Shepard away from mine. I've been so in love with the Irish spelling of my name that I gave it to her and I'll give her some other little deets in my fics. I will niether confirm nor deny her likeness is based on me, but as the eventual fics will explain, I imagine her more pear-shaped with thick thighs that save lives. Predictably, she will be romancing Kaidan, like all my fsheps and msheps before her. I did say she was self-indulgent, after all.
I'm hoping to make intro sets for my other MELE Shepards once I have more time, I just have to finalize a name for one of them. Can't wait to really get into the nitty gritty with Sionainn though! I haven't been this excited to get started in a very long time. I already have two fics in the works and a list of ideas so we just have to get the brain on board!

I think of him as, he’s more professional than alpha.
Yes, absolutely. And it’s his heart, I mean, like, it really is. I think it’s his sense of goodness that allows him to survive and actually become who he needs to be eventually. You know, it’s very difficult for him at first to have the responsibilities he has. But he grows into them, because it’s not that he doesn’t—you know, you see so often the kind of leadership trope that’s like “oh, well, they don’t care, don’t give a—you know, whatever”. He cares about every—he desperately cares about everything.
And like, you know, those horrible moments that make him grow, like when he has to blow up a ship full of doctors. And he’s pleading with them to please just listen to him. And you know, it’s through all of... it’s through his empathy that allows him to be the leader he needs to be by the end.
