HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!! Have a ship artwork (and redraw!) that took me over 13 hours featuring my ocs Alan and Samuel ^^

Both Al and Samu had to deal with multiple people pretending to be their friend for ulterior motives in the past, as many people wanted to be friends with Samu for his status as a phoenix puenymph, and Al for their attraction to him. Both of them knowing that the other cares for them for the person they are, they were able to show their true colors to each other and develop a caring friendship, and later on, a romantic relationship too.

Thinking... about the possibility that shapeshifters NATURALLY hide pregnancies as a defense mechanism.

That Exis isn't even fully concious of the fact he's hiding it because it's instinctive, he doesn't trust anyone with such sensitive knowledge on a deeper level.

The idea that his own birthing parent could have snuck in somewhere and had him without anyone even KNOWING they were pregnant because they were hiding it.

The idea that Exis could have given himself away if he felt comfortable and safe enough to let his form slip, to relax completely.

The idea that a lot of shapeshifter pregnancies FAIL because the parent is drained from creating a new life and HIDING IT ALL THE TIME. (And how miraculous it is that Exis got through his with TWO babies-. COMPLETELY obsured.)
