i actually don't know what my favorite albums off the top of my head so i'll consult with the spotify stats they never lie.

bad love by key: oh my god. literally no skips. the best album ever made. the day this dropped it made me a worse person and i still am. i have almost 1k streams on this. it's bad for me. i can't even tell a favorite song i love all them so much.

sam's town by the killers: i have 800+ plays on this. it's SO bad for me. i hope bling, why do i keep counting, and this river is wild all beat me up together i love them so bad throws up brandonf lowers was so fucking insane i love you the killers

black holes and revelations by muse: this is unfair bc muse is my favorite band in the entire fucking world but oh my god. even though i love absolution and origin of symmetry i do skip some songs but this one? i skip NOTHING. i sit through it. i feel EVERY SONG!

delight by baekhyun: um..actual masterpiece of a mini album AGAIN..thanks baekhyun for my life maybe? ghost-love again the songs that you are.

Aimee!!! I have so many anime recommendations but I think you'd really like You and Me! It's a really beautifully animated slice of life style anime about a bunch of teenage boys just being friends in high school. All the characters are so lovely and unique, and there's very little romance in it (there's like crushes but the main focus of the anime is the boys and their friendship)! It's just very wholesome and good, with 2 seasons of 13 eps each!

i wouldn’t say i’m a stan but i do listen to them !

how long i’ve been a fan:

late 2015! that’s when i properly got into kpop (vs the listening just to certain groups that i did prior to that) and red velvet were one of the first groups i listened to 😊

the first song i heard by them

ice cream cake! the first kpop group i actually ever got into was shinee, and so when i first started branching out, i basically just went through sm’s entire yt channel lmao

my favourite song as of now

huff n puff! i have absolutely no idea what it’s about, but i love the rhythm of it. i haven’t studied music in years so don’t have the vocab to talk about it but it just feels sharp, almost staccato in the vocals, and it’s got a really cool punch to it.

the first mv i saw

again, ice cream cake, and man that was a trip for someone coming from pop-punk and metal.

my favourite mv as of now

maybe russian roulette? i really liked the bright but still creepy vibe that it had going, and i think that they do slightly-unnerving-without-it-being-outright-horror super super well; the children’s nursery rhyme hook of ice cream cake and the robotic parts of dumb dumb’s choreo being other examples. i’m not a massive fan of their more recent stuff just because i miss that kind of vibe so much. 

who my bias is

yeri ! i feel like there’s something so sweet about her, and it’s been really nice seeing her grow up and become more comfortable in herself over the years. although there’s a lot to be said about how it affects kids like her to basically grow up in a business orientated environment, i guess it also accomplishes what that business intends, because it helps us become attached, watching someone grow like that. she’s a year younger than me and it makes me feel like i’ve been watching over her career like an older sister.
