The way Suyeon fights tooth and nail for Woo Young Woo despite the fact that she also gets frustrated with Woo Young Woo from time to time and knows that she would lose to Woo Young Woo on an even playing field.
The way Suyeon gets angry when Woo Young Woo says, "It's not easy for someone to like me," and puts herself down because to Suyeon, liking and helping Woo Young Woo has always been second nature to her.
The way Suyeon confronts Junho about his feelings, and urges him to tell Woo Young Woo if he is serious but only if he's serious, because not once did she think that Woo Young Woo was undeserving of a romantic relationship.
Because no matter what, she's gonna stand up and bat for Woo Young Woo every single time.

This show is really making me miss being in love. Or at least what I thought it was. Just sharing your time with someone. Going on walks counting as dates. As long as you're together and enjoying it, it's enough. Still hoping there's someone out there as close as Junho. He's so caring and he takes time to understand and isn't toxic (like his cute little 'jealously' scene with WYW) He's so sweet... I can't deal. I just want someone to be that understanding and gentle *cries in hopeless romantically single*
junho is the standard which is said because ??? 99% of what he does is the bare minimum. he’s just a genuinely sweet and kind person who listens, communicates, and tries his best. whenever MLs are jealous they get super toxic and downright mean but junho??? junho stood there, jealous as can be, and smiled!! laughed!! while youngwoo was talking and smiling over another man junho was still enchanted by her existence. junho is so awestruck and gone for youngwoo and she in return is enchanted too (the way she zooms off after a moment with him will never not be hilarious). our favorite whale couple makes me so emotional it’s not even funny. like that scene of them ‘holding hands’ through the glass?? made me tear up ngl jsjdjsdh it’s the simple and quiet moments between them that makes my heart flutter the most
don’t worry anon i’m crying with you. forever yearning for the love that exists between those two 😭

WYWS ep 8
Finally caught up! Meant to make it short, but it got away from me.
There's definitely something very heavy about to be raised from depths of Woo Tak's mind. It's not only the concept that he might have to betray law to keep his friend out of prison. Ex-friend? I don't know. Though he doesn't seem to be willing to do it, offering to resign from his job immediately instead of giving into blackmail. But those tears don't lie.
Also, the penguin's in the backseat, buckled up, omg.
Jae Chan who wouldn't hug someone who saved his life or country... HAHAH. And got called out on his crap for having no right to dictate Hong Joo's hugging rights! Yet... Ah man, he interrupted the hug. I WANTED THE HUG. Woo Tak deserves the hug. Don't be selfish, Jae Chan, Hong Joo has enough hugs for everyone!! (But I gotta admire the dedication, he ran out with one bare feet.)
Jae Chan, why would ANYONE speak about failed hug attempt, even more so in front of 2 other people? Good lord. What's more you quote her words about hugging someone right back at her, precisely, ha! And yet you claim you're not jealous. Pfft.
I am not quite happy that she'd threaten him with disappointment, knowing him as well as she does, but we all make mistakes in relationships. And overall, it was a test he had to undergo. Though she does not verbally say she's happy he made the right choice in the end and that she understands, her smile and overall seems to imply so and I hope Jae Chan understands it. At least she didn't reject him out of this or insult him overall. I really liked that he was utterly sincere with her about everything, both feelings regarding her and the case.
And just as her kiss did not get actual response, so goes unanswered his confession about feelings, so I can see a pattern there of stepping into new zone and giving the other time to get used to it. Her actions back at work also show it, though Jae Chan cannot know of them. (The way she slipped him her ring size is really smart, cutie!)
Another hint that his watch and paper rolling is connected to Yu Beom's sense of guilt and he actually feels like he's back on track and doing the right thing when defending the unfortunate archer's parents.
Is Jae Chan going to propose or is it just a gift? First time, he crossed the road no problem. Next time, he got stabbed.... And it was after the innocent murderer, Woo Tak's friend, was saved. Is that the key to it all? Maybe Yu Beom finally got sick of all this intervention from our Sleeping Dragons? Though, I do not see him as outright killer type. Not yet. So maybe an angry fan or the archer's parents?
Personally, I got angry at mom who would ask such a question in front of other man who is potentionally interested in her daughter. It just set up for such an awkward situation!! And ruined the mood of the breakfast. Sigh.
Jae Chan wass taking on such a risk with this case, especially since his heart is not into it. He can lose everything he worked so hard to gain. That's what scared me the most about this episode. I was really, really relieved when it was shown he had cleverly arranged everything as it needed to be, at least for his inner-work space. Though, the case is still not over and it stresses me out highkey!! Just because he's figured it out, doesn't mean he can prove it and the society is out for blood! (And they'll probably never find that goddamn roomba)
Even worse, since it seems apparent Yu Beom believes he is, for once, fighting for the right thing and he is ready to use ANY tools to achieve his goals. This shift appears to be what creates the unhappy ending for Hong Joo's happy dream.
Meanwhile, there's truth in Yu Beom's words, but we all know there is no guarantee TRUTHFUL information will crop up and sorting through it would be a nightmare on its own. But obviously, Hong Joo's denial to meddle does not mean it won't happen anyway. In fact, I bet she will get in trouble for not jumping on this huge 'lead' when the word goes out.
Realistically, the Junior Policeman would've drowned while they were arguing. I liked how their past ties into their current thoughts, the reality punch and proverbial one that Jae Chan have provided tying together. His sense of justice does prevail through everything, it was merely taking a nap when Hong Joo arrived back in his life again. (He's going to be so surprised to know his strong girlfriend is that strong boy, ha.) Also, why did anyone let Jae Chan keep that motorbike, instead of sold it to get some money back?
Place where I watch sadly didn't have subs for the part with cupid barista, I will try to track them down later.
