You rolled your eyes as you saw Arthur's comment on yours, how could he be so childish. Forget it, you reminded yourself, today is for Ollie and Ollie only.
You waited in Ollie's driver room till he was done with the debrief, you'd go out to celebrate with him and his family later. His trainer had given him a pass on the diet, after all, scoring points in F1 was no joke.
You jumped off the chair you were lounging in, ready to hug the man as you heard the door open but to your disappointment, it was only Arthur.
You groaned as you saw the boy and he scowled in return. You never knew how your rivalry began. One moment you were visiting Ollie for the first time at Prema and the next you were in a screaming match with a Monagasuque man with the cutest accent.
"What are you doing?" He asked, rather, demanded.
"Waiting for my friend," you replied with the same annoyance in your voice, "What are you doing here?" you accused, stepping towards him.
He pulled a face, closing the gap, "Here to support my friend, you know cause we can actually stand each other,"
"Hah, sure, at least I'm not jealous of my friends, you know cause they actually make it into f1," you shrugged, knowing it was a low blow.
His face morphed into anger as he pushed closer towards you, "You need to shut up," he spoke in a low voice, you'd be scared of the taller, much stronger boy if you weren't doused in anger yourself.
"Make me then," why did you say that- Oh shit.
Your eyes widened as he kissed you, making both of you stumble back and fall on Ollie's driver room bed. You groaned as your back hit the mattress, the older boy breaking the kiss, looking down at you in concern.
"O-oh, my god! Y/n I'm so sorry, I don't know wh-" he began rambling but you couldn't let him win, could you? So you kissed him back, letting your hands run through his hair.
He led one hand to your waist, letting it fall under your shirt, he hissed at the warmth your skin radiated under his palms.
"Oh my god, OH MY GOD," Someone yelled, making Arthur push off the bed, and fall on the floor.
"Ollie this isn't what it looks like," he explained from the floor making you frown.
"It isn't?" you asked making him turn to you.
"No, it is," he explained to you, then turned to shocked Ollie in the doorway, "I mean- it is," he tried to explain.
Ollie paused for a moment, "On my bed, really?" he replied, disgust in his voice.
You picked up the pillow on his now messed up bed, throwing it at his head, "Shut up,"
He laughed as he ducked, "Hey, at least none of us had to intervene," he confessed making you and the boy who was now getting up off the floor groan in defeat.

simon hefts himself up and places her in front of him, making sure that her helmet is secured and her jacket’s all zipped up. it is a quiet routine, one that simon completes with ferocious intensity. he’s never once skipped out on this, never once had been lazy with it, and it makes your heart warm.
he looks up after his final check, turning to you with one last wave, before he’s snapping his visor down and revving the engine. then they’re off.
later, simon will come back with a slumbering princess in his arms. you two make a quiet work on removing her helmet and her shoes, before simon takes her to sleep. then, he’ll slide in beside you, pull you in for cuddles, before recounting their little adventure to you.

Okay, so im just gonna word vomit here and yall make sense of it, but like the first thing that comes to mind when I think about yandere dad Miguel is that him kidnapping daughter reader from a universe where he doesn't exist, so he's technically not breaking canon or whatever and really, it doesnt even matter if you're his bio kid or not, like u could be a literal random civilian but if he is drawn to u, then he is. And while some of yall say "oh come on, Miguel cant be like that. He doesn't make careless/thoughtless decisions like that" I'm sorry, but is this not the same person who had the nerve to step in as his dead self from an AU and sleep with his parallel universe's wife and father someone else's kid??? Granted, they did end up dying but really, the only difference between that decision and this decision to kidnap u is to make sure that u don't end up dyingggg.
Moving on, he kidnaps u, makes up some bs about your life being in danger and blah blah blah, you HAVE to stay by his side, okay??? And at first, reader is like "umm okay?" because who tf wouldnt agree with SPIDERMAN??? (especially one who looks like Miguel? he is already giving dad vibes)
And the thing with Miguel is that he super protective (because PTSD) and he's possessive too, so the only person you're allowed to hang out with is Mayday (she is the cutest, i would die to have a kid like her ngl) because he doesnt see her as a threat (someone who could take u away from him). ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT with Miles (because he hates that kid, pain in his ass/bane of his existence) and pretty much all other spiderpersons as well because all of them are sarcastic and he does not need them rubbing off on u. The only other person he would trust u with is Peter B, probably when Miguel needs a babysitter (because u learned to mess with his tech-typy-locks and traps, so u need an actual person to keep eyes on u. curse the universe for u being smart like ur papa), and the biggest reason he does trust peter with u is because since peter is a father himself, he would definitely know that while miguel's methods are wrong, in his own way, he is protecting u, and peter b knows that he would do absolutely anything to keep his daughter safe too. Also- since peter has mayday, if he were to actually take u away from Miguel, then Miguel would 10000% kidnap mayday and use her against peter too until he inevitably has to return u to him.
Now Miguel is emotionally crippled due to his trauma, so he's not great at expressing his feelings, at least not when you're awake. When you're asleep, maybe his eyes turn a little softer, maybe he cups your cheek, some guilt and sadness swirling in his eyes when he sees your tear stained cheek (because u missed ur family. or maybe u got told off by Miguel in front of everyone), presses a soft kiss to your forehead and mumbles something in spanish ("you will understand in due time, mi hija.") Definitely has cameras in your room, so he looks at you through the screen and sighs when u flop on the bed and stuff your head in the pillow and start crying, heart slightly heavy with guilt.
Except from interacting with others and leaving the spider society/his apartment (idk where he lives), every need of yours is pretty much taken care of IF you follow his rules. If you behave, u get everything. If u yell at him, try to break out of his place etc, privileges are revoked and BAM, you are now confined to your room with no access to entertainment or any of your hobbies he allowed u to have. Those novels u liked to read? Too bad, they get thrown in the fireplace. Gaming console? Broken in his hands. Liked to cook/bake? No access to kitchen because u are now locked in your room.
Miguel has one important rule- you MUST obey him, under all circumstances, no questions asked. If he tells you to go to your room, honey go before his eyes turn sharp and he has to manhandle you. If he tells you to eat dinner with him, you need to eat food even if you are full. And if he's forbidden you from going to the locked room in his place that's full of info on you and your old fam, then its best for everyone for u to obey.
Now, while Miguel does have trouble expressing emotions (i mean, the most affection he's shown is head pats and if u are really really sad, then yes, smooches on the forehead.) but he has no trouble expressing anger and rage. If u mess up real bad, in the sense where u disobey him and end up hurting yourself (no matter to what degree), GIRL HE IS SCREAMING HIS HEAD OFF AT YOU (like the scene from the movie where he's yelling at miles). I mean, he's so mad, he legit picks you up and hauls you to your room, where he's yelling at u even more, using the terms "child" "kid" and patronising tone because you may think you're a grown up (u might even be) but he will ALWAYS view u as a kid- THE KID he lost, the child he promised to protect and somehow get redemption, or at the very least, fill the empty hole in his heart.
And since nobody thought to inform me that my man Miguel is a literal VAMPIRE and that his fangs are not just for show to attract all kinds of viewrs, we gonna talk about that as well. Does he use them on reader when she finds out that Miguel actually fucking murdered her real fam (maybe not directly kill them, because he is a hero after all. Maybe in the sense that he knew they were gonna die, you would too unless he took u away, he just didnt bother calculating the repercussions if he did indeed save your family.) and reader is now hyperventilating and trying to claw her way out of his arms but muscled arms only pull u tighter against his chest and he just bites ur neck to let the venom paralyse you long enough for him to not only offer an explanation for his actions, but also put a tracker in you and chain u to your bed.
Does Miguel's heart absolutely shatter at your body wracking sobs and distressed state as you realise you have lost your family? Yes. Does he apologise? Never. Does he like seeing you in pain? NO. Will he cause you even more pain? ...yes, if circumstances change.
Hurting you is the last the thing he's do, but its still something he would do. He wont enjoy it, but if u messed up real bad (escaped and endangered yourself) then Miguel, with a very heavy heart will snap your ankles and limit your ability to walk for months (if not for life). This is one of his harshest punishments, and punishments are immeadiately followed with comfort, so Miguel does put your fractured bones in a cast and wipes the tears from his eyes, shushing you gently as he softly explains why he did what he did, how you dont need to worry about anything because since you took your punishment so well, Miguel will help you (he will carry you around everywhere), and maybe if you're in too much pain, he may give you some drugs(or even his venom) to put you to sleep right away.
He has lost too much, too many times. His wounds are deep and still fresh, he is not taking any chances... especially not with you.

You know it's going to be a difficult day as soon as you wake up, plagued by the absence of a small body between you and your partner. You turn on one side to slap off the alarm, and then the other to wake Eddie yourself.
He's disturbed by the sound of the alarm but not quite there, and so you cup his face in your hand and rub a pattern into his stubbly cheek with your thumb.
"My love," you mumble, careful not to breathe any morning breath on him. "Up and at 'em."
"No."
You laugh quietly and rub your forehead against his chin. "Yeah, baby. You need a shave, and Roan isn't awake."
"I can see that. Got a distinct lack of knees in my chest."
"And morning kisses."
"Well, you can fix that."
You climb onto your knees, cradle his face in both hands, and plant a perfect kiss on the tip of his nose. His hand finds your neck, and the two of you linger in place like twin statues for a stolen moment.
"You shave, I'll get Roanie," you say.
"Yeah."
You make for Roan's bedroom. Sounds echo from the bathroom, the faucet running, Eddie shaking a can of shaving foam. You push open Roan's door and shut it behind you, hoping for another gentle wake up call. It can be the difference between a good day and a bad one, to be woken up sweetly.
Picking carefully over a mess of toys and clothes, you remind yourself to clean up her explosions when you have the time, and lower yourself next to the small lump in her bed. She's still so small.
"Macaroanie," you sing lightly, hand dropped onto her back. "It's time to get up, princess. I thought we'd have a special breakfast this morning, but we can only do that if we're quick." You rub her back, brush her hair out of her eyes.
She shies away from your touch and hides her face in the pillow completely.
"Come on," you say, patting her shoulder.
"No," she grumbles.
"Come on, baby. I'll make pancakes, okay? But we have to get up now and pick your clothes."
"No." She moves her shoulder, throwing your hand off.
You pull your hand into your lap, feeling rather dejected, and totally unawares of what's affecting her. Thankfully, Eddie appears like a saviour, opening the door with a small piece of tissue paper stuck to his cheek.
"Eddie," you sigh.
"It's tiny. I was rushing." He finds his place at your side and assesses his still in bed daughter with a puzzled expression. "She sick?"
"Don't think so."
He cuts between you and encourages Roan's head to the side. She makes her indignation known, and Eddie says, "Let daddy feel your temperature," in his softest, kindest tone.
He presses first the back of his hand and then the front to her skin. Practised movements.
"You feel fine," he says, dropping his hand. "Come on, babe. I know you're tired, but we gotta get this show on the road."
She doesn't say anything, only curls in on herself.
Eddie looks at you unphased. Where you feel hopeless, unsure of what to do even though it's not the first time Roan's been in an unhappy mood, he's a pro.
"Go do what you need to," he says to you, arms sliding under a grumbling body and hoisting her up into his chest. "I'm on Roan duty today."
He smiles. You flash one back.
After you're dressed and ready for work you meet them downstairs, where Eddie's somehow managed to dress himself and Roan, and is now trying to aeroplane cereal into her mouth.
"I'm not a baby," she protests.
"You're my baby," he says, ignoring her grumpy attitude.
She's scowling so hard she's gonna have a wrinkle between her eyebrows, and it gets worse as you leave the house. You try to smooth it away when you part, leaning down between Eddie's car and yours to give her your usual farewell kiss on the cheek. She allows it grudgingly.
"Have a good day. I love you."
She mumbles. You pout and stand at full height, where Eddie offers an apologetic farewell all his own, squeezing your shoulder until it aches in the best way.
"See you at six," he says.
You nod. He kisses you, and you don't see them again until you're home.
You worry about Roan all day. She's a happy kid, she's well-loved. She's loving. It's out of character for her to be so grumpy so you chalk it up to tiredness.
When you get home, you plan on fulfilling your usual routine; track down Roan where she's watching cartoons on the couch, hug her within an inch of her life, find your boyfriend in the kitchen and hug him too. Eddie works less hours than you so he can be there for pick-up duty, and he's home first each day without fail. But today, there's no sign of him.
No Roan on the couch. No cartoons. No dinner bubbling on the stove top.
You check for his car in the driveway again and feel your lips tug down into an unabiding frown.
"Guys?" you call.
"We're up here!"
You toe off your shoes and bump up the stairs two at a time, more worried than anything.
"What's going on in here?" you ask, pushing open Roan's door first.
They're in her big princess bed, under princess silk sheets. Eddie's swapped his mechanic's coveralls for comfy clothes, and Roan is in one of her nighties. They're both on their backs, though Roan's face rests against Eddie's chest.
"My sweethearts," you say, more to yourself than either of them. "What's wrong?"
He runs a hand over Roan's hair. "Can I tell her?"
She shakes her head and hides her eyes.
Eddie gives you a sympathetic, sorry pout. "How was work?"
"It was just fine." You feel behind you for the doorknob. "I'll make dinner, okay? You guys stay where you are."
Roan pushes up so she can whisper in Eddie's ear.
Eddie hums. "Okay." He smiles, eyes creased with fondness, and says to you, "Will you come and lie down with us. We- I missed you."
You rush to get changed and climb into bed with them, crushing Roan in a big love sandwich. Your arm curls around her on impulse, as if you could shield her from whatever it is that's irking her. She doesn't respond in any way, but she's letting you cuddle, and it's enough.
You listen to Eddie problem solve in awe. He talks slowly, quietly, careful questions that don't probe so much as guide Roan into the answers you want to hear. How was school? And what was for lunch today? Yeah, you like spaghetti, was it as nice as the one we make at home? Aw, that's too bad. We can have spaghetti ourselves this week if you want.
He talks for at least an hour until he gets to the very root of the problem.
"You were sitting with Melissa again?" he asks.
You toy with a baby curl, twisting and untwisting it around your finger. Hunger gnaws at your stomach but you refuse to move.
"Yes… She had her hair in braids again."
"Yeah?"
You blink, interest piqued. It's the most she's said of her own volition all day.
"And everybody said she looked pretty."
He looks over Roan's head at you with a winning smile, but quickly tamps it down when Roan looks up and between you both.
"I think you'd look so pretty with braids in, Ro," you say.
Eddie nods appraisingly. "So pretty. Is that something you want?"
She seizes up a little, like she hadn't expected to get caught. "I don't know," she mumbles.
Eddie beams. "You know you look amazing every day, don't you? But, babe? With braids in? I think you'd look so beautiful."
"Super pretty," you agree with a hurried nod.
"But dad doesn't know how to do braids," she says, sounding at a crossroads between happy and let down.
You hold her cheek in your hand and push up onto your elbow. "I know how to do them, princess. Remember, I did them for your costume day? And daddy can learn."
"I can. You can have your hair whatever way you want, Ro. You could shave it all off-" He stops at your broken-hearted gawping. "Or, you know, something less drastic."
Roan smiles like everythings been solved. Then, too soon, her tiny smile fades back into indifference, and she curls up like a pill bug.
You're lost.
Eddie, not so much. "You don't need different hair to be pretty."
"Nobody at school calls me pretty," she says.
You hold your breath.
"Sweetheart…" He sits up and Roan hides in the space behind his back. He turns around, scoops her up, and kisses the top of her head. "Is your mom pretty?"
Your heart literally soars, worse when Roan looks over his shoulder at you and says, "Yes," without hesitation.
"Do you tell her that every day?"
"...No."
"No, we don't. We don't always remember to tell her, but that doesn't mean she isn't beautiful." He pulls her face away from his collar to smile at her. "Your friends don't always remember to tell you, but that doesn't mean you're not pretty. But I'm your dad, and I'm literally the smartest guy alive, and I say you look pretty every day." He tucks a curl behind her ear. "'Kay?"
Your heart is a puddle in your chest, melted.
"Okay."

She deliberately visually, eyes up to the ceiling. "Can we have spaghetti tonight? They don't make it nice like you, with the bread."

If there was one thing any of your friends could agree on when they are asked with the question what is yn absolutely obsessed with? is Luke Hughes.
The pretty boy from Slytherin who just happens to be a quidditch star, eating up every other house when it came to the games.
Luke and YN have never spoke to each other before—at least, not for more than 5 minutes. The last time she heard Luke speak ever was when he was with his older brother, Jack, and his voice was annoyed as Jack kept teasing him about losing to Gryffindor. Luke, to say the least, was not thrilled.
He was quiet in the classes they shared, only really speaking when he had to. It was one of the many reasons as to why YN liked him so much. He wasn’t like his annoying friends, who were always talking about girls and making Quidditch their entire personality. No, he was sweet and delicate, just how YN liked them.
He was rather cold, though. His last partner, Teddy Wellings was quite the chatterbox, running Luke’s ear off during their potion making session in class. With a cold glare that could freeze Teddy right up, Luke spoke one word. Quiet. It was enough to shut Teddy right up, who got the memo that Luke did not want to be bothered with his constant gossip.
“Ynnnnnie you have to come,” your friend, Evermore says, refusing to let go of her hold on you.
“Morie, I have homework!” You sigh exasperated, “let go.”
“Not until you come with me! This is your chance to speak to Luke, Slytherin is playing against Ravenclaw tonight,” Evermore sits up to smirk at you, “and if you don’t end up getting with Luke, there will be a bunch of cute Ravenclaw quidditch players to talk to.”
“Fine,” you sigh, “only because I know you won’t stop until I say yes.”
Evermore shrieks in happiness, pulling you into a tight hug that makes it hard for you to breathe.
You place on your Hufflepuff scarf and a warm sweater that had your bright yellow house color over them, preparing to leave with Evermore.
When you two finally found a seat, it was dark out and in the middle of the game. Luke was fast on his broom, his eyes calculating and as stone cold as they always were.
“Isn’t Conrad the cutest?” Evermore fawns over the boy, her eyes filled with love.
“Who?”
“The cute seeker on Ravenclaw!”
“Whatever makes you happy,” you say, giving a forced smile to Evermore. Your eyes were more focused on Luke, who was rushing past at the speed of light. He was talented, so much so that he made the team his first year at Hogwarts while his brothers made it their second and third years.
“AND LUKE HUGHES CATCHES THE SNITCH!” The Slytherin announcer yells excitedly.
You watch in awe as the game stops and Luke’s teammates all fly over to him, patting him on the back in excitement and joy.
“This is your chance,” Evermore whispers as she watches the players fly down and start making their way to the lockers. “Talk to Luke!”
She pushes you over to him, and for a slight moment, a rush of adrenaline soars through your body.
Now or never, you think.
So you walk over to Luke Hughes, who was busy talking to one of his teammates.
“Excuse me,” you say, pulling him back slightly by his quidditch uniform.
He looks down at you, then back at his teammate. “Meet you later?” He says to the guy, and you swore it was the most you’ve ever heard Luke Hughes speak.
“See you bro,” the guy whistles as he leaves, “lock ‘em in Lukey boy!”
Luke rolls his eyes at this, then turns his attention back to you. “Can I help you?”
“I just.. I just wanted to say that you played amazing out there.” You say, “and that you’re a really talented quidditch player.”
Luke breaks his cold face to give you a small smile, and if it were not for your sudden confidence, you would’ve fainted at the sight.
“Thank you YN,” he says.
“You know my name?” You say that with more surprise than intended, which makes Luke burst out in laughter.
“Duh, you’re in my class.”
“Well.. I just never thought you would notice me, you don’t even acknowledge most of our class.”
“That’s because most of our class is not worth me acknowledging,” Luke has a sly smile on now, almost as if he’s teasing you. “Is that all you wanted to tell me?”
“No,” you say quietly. “I really like you and was wondering if you’d like to—maybe—go out to Hogsmeade with me sometime.”
Where was this sudden confidence coming from?! Your head internally screamed, but you tried to keep your composure.
“But I’m a Slytherin,” he says, head leaning back against the wall.
“So?”
“You’re a Hufflepuff,”
“I don’t care about houses Luke,” you say, a genuine look in your eyes.
“But I’m always busy,”
“So?”
“I’ll never have time for you if you want to pursue me,”
