AroAce at the Theatre- She Kills Monsters

Still thinking about She Kills Monsters and how many ace vibes Agnes gives off. She really said I'm straight and then spent the entire show being uncomfortable with physical touch, asking people to put more clothes on, and defending her and her boyfriend's decision to take things slow and not get married yet.

So many people have opinions on Agnes' and Miles' relationship and Agnes keeps defending him and saying that she's not ready to get married yet and no one listens to her. No one even offers a valid reason why they think he sucks other than that he hasn't proposed yet, which Agnes doesn't want him to do. The pressure to have a relationship follow a timeline dictated by people who are not a part of it is so very ace I felt it in my soul.

I genuinely thought She Kills Monsters was going to end up with Agnes discovering her own queerness through connecting with Tilly and her world. Agnes discovered she's asexual after the end of the play in my heart.

Went to see a production of She Kills Monsters last night and the entire audience just adopted Steve so quickly. Every time he came on stage the entire audience just shrieked STEEEVE!

At some point he had to wait a good 30 seconds to deliver his line because the audience was cheering so loudly.

After the show someone actually came up to my friend (who was playing Steve) and asked for his autograph. He proceeded to misspell his own name like the Steve we all know and love would
