Summary: Lewis Hamilton is part-time Formula One driver and full-time fashion icon. And so is his girlfriend, Y/N Y/L/N, who's also known as a real life Barbie.

Warnings: None... but a lot of pink XD. Also this story is set in December 2023, so no broken hearts over Lewis going to Ferrari... actually maybe just a little teaser.

Author's Note: Hi Anon! This request is great and thank you so much for it, it definitely is good enough! :) I had fun writing and creating this, even though at the end it's kind of different than what I firstly intended to do. The original idea was to make Y/N very Barbie coded, but at the end I'd say she's Barbie inspired and I focused more on the fashion icon part of the request. Though there's a sweet storyline about why her nickname is Barbie, so I hope you won't be disappointed! :)

Dragging you away behind turned heads, nobody witnessed the explicit end to your night. “Please, Heeseung wait—“

He opens the door and tosses you in, almost as if you were a ragdoll. You find yourself in pitch black; the closet is a finite area. The light remains off as you feel his strong hands snag you by the waist. Shoving your back against the small built in cabinet that lies narrowly in a nook corner, he levitates your thighs harshly as he raises them up against the sides of his hips. “I’d love…nothing more than to show you off—“

He kisses you, violently mashing his lips against yours. “But you’re all mine. Part of me wants to show the entire world how viciously I can fuck you. But the other side of me just wants to keep the visual model of perfection that you are…all for myself.”

Can you give me your opinions on what Floyd's and JD's lives were like between the band breaking up and Floyd getting kidnapped, because I feel like they don't explain as much about that as they do with Spruce, Branch, and Clay. I was actually just thinking about this a few days ago myself and it's definitely hard to know for sure. John Dory and Floyd are both AMAZING characters, and I don't know what BroZone would be without them, but we just don't know too much about their characters yet to really know what they might have done or been into during their lives outside of the band.

John Dory did mention living on the Neverglade trail or sumptin' lol, so maybe he liked hikes (wuttt?!! ahsnioefosoj) or maybe there's some hidden meaning in therreee that I'm too dumb to figure out XDDD hellppp 💀💀 I do think John Dory did not find Rhonda until after he left BroZone for sure tho, and that since he didn't have his bros she kind of took their place for entertainment and something to love and such. So there was that. JD does also seem like the type of guy to explore and see what he can find. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he found out about all the other different kinds of trolls before Branch and Poppy did! (who out there rlly loves the new ship DawnDory?!! Omigosh, I don't rlly ship them, but I think they would be HILARIOUS ex's!!)

Floyd is definitely harder because he seems to be pretty chill. Maybe he traveled for his new solo singing career or something-- I mean, that would make sense to why in the world he would be at Mount Rageous for absolutely no reason :DDD I think he was pretty successful with that career tbh, I MEAN TROYE SIVAN'S VOICE IS SOOOO--- UGH I CANTTTT 😭😭🤩

Tommy comes across Charlie, who’s in the middle of drawing a picture that catches his father’s eye.

“Your father’s home,” Lizzie announces as she hears the door to Arrow House shut. The sound of Tommy talking to Frances follows, confirming what the woman sitting on the couch had just said.

Ruby jumps up and gets ready to greet her dad, but Charlie keeps on drawing. He’s too focused on getting his picture done to worry about greetings at the moment.

“We’re happy to have you home, Tommy,” Lizzie says after Ruby finishes her inital greeting once Tommy’s joined his family in the sitting room.

“Happy to be home, Lizzie,” Tommy smiles at his wife before his eyes fall onto his son, who’s still scribbling away at the coffee table.

“What’re you doin’ there, son?” he asks, his eyebrows furrowed as he tries to see what Charlie was doing. “Not gonna greet your father?”

“I’m drawing, dad,” Charlie responds, still too engrossed in his work to even look up at the man who was now standing next to him.

“Oh yeah?” Tommy questions as he then squats down next to the child, “let me see what you’re drawing.”

Charlie stops his coloring but doesn’t move his arms that are covering the paper. “I don’t know, dad...” he responds with hesitancy, immediately thinking that his father wouldn’t find his work interesting...boys aren’t supposed to be drawing, right?

“Let me see, please, Charlie,” Tommy tries again as he softly nudges his son’s shoulder in hopes that it’d knock his arms off of the creation. It doesn’t.

“Promise you won’t laugh,” Charlie says as he looks up at his father with hopeful eyes.

“I won’t,” Tommy responds without second thought, wondering why his son even wanted him to make a promise like that.

Charlie nods his head before he slowly moves his forearms off of the picture he created. Once it’s completely revealed, Tommy looks over the work his son had done. There were two people on the page: one small and one tall. They were both wearing peaked caps, and they both had one hand gripping onto the reigns of a horse that stood by their side.

“It’s me and you, and we each have horses,” Charlie explains and Tommy listens, even though he doesn’t need to. It’s pretty obvious what the kid had drawn.

“That’s very well done, Charlie,” Lizzie comments from where she was sitting forward on the couch.

“Thanks, mum,” Charlie responds to her before he looks over to Tommy, waiting expectantly for what his father had to say.

“I like it,” Tommy finally gives his opinion, a slight smile forming on his face as his eyes match with the boy’s.

“Thanks,” Charlie nods, his gratitude coming out in a soft voice. Tommy nods back at him before he stands up to his feet once more.

“I’ll be in my office,” he announces to his family, barely allowing them to respond before he’s exiting the sitting room en route to his destination.

No more than a week later, Tommy was walking out onto the grounds of Arrow House with Charlie following close behind. The boy was asking him questions as to why he was being led out to the sprawling fields that the estate included, but his father wasn’t answering them.

They walked a good bit of the ways away from the home before Tommy turned to Charlie and crouched down to get to his level. “Now, son...do you remember that drawing you showed me when I returned home?” he tries to jog the child’s memory as he sets his hands atop the boy’s shoulders.

“I do,” Charlie nods with a smile.

“I was standing next to Dangerous, and you had a horse by your side,” Tommy takes a short pause before continuing, “and it got me thinking that we haven’t gotten ourselves a new horse in a long time. So I made some calls and...” he trails off again, standing then so that he could move next to the boys’s side and put his hand on his shoulder and show him the full pastoral scene that was sprawled out in front of them. “That horse, right there, is yours, Charlie,” he then reveals why he’d brought the boy out to the grounds, a smile on his face as he watches Charlie react to the news.

“Really?” Charlie asks with wide eyes that stay locked on the brown horse that was currently grazing.

“Yes,” Tommy nods, “she’s young, handles well, and I think she’ll enjoy having you as her rider,” he then gives more details about the animal.

“I can’t believe this, dad,” Charlie gasps, the fact that he now had a horse to call his own finally setting in.

“I have one more thing...” Tommy trails off as he turns to face Charlie again. “I figured for us to be exactly like the picture, you’d also need this,” he says as he then hands a black peaked cap over to his son. Charlie excitedly takes it and puts it right on his head, a wide smile gracing his face as he watches Tommy put a similar one on his head.

“I’m just like you, dad,” Charlie beams proudly.

“You are,” Tommy nods, “why don’t we go for a ride now, eh?” he suggests then, and the kid immediately agrees before he goes off towards the stables.

Ok here I am! I'm ready! Let's talk about Sonic sequel...😖😖😖💘💘💘👏👏😭😭

First of all this movie hit me hard cause I didn't met sonic from the 2D classics not even the first 3Ds nope I met sonic for the first time with the game SONIC HEROES so you can already guess how I felt seeing the primary colors trio together all cute and fluffy in live action movie KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA😱😱🤯🤯🤩🤩

Again the movie showed me a relatable version of Sonic full of flaws and need of growth, also the humans once again shine in a good way. There's a change from the first movie, Tom and Sonic were knowing each other for the first time with Sonic kind of idolizing him as really cool and nice person he wants to be best friends with and it was kinda like that on the middle of the movie but at the end that had a different portrayal of their relationship with they making Sonic his own room and both Maddie and Tom sitting with him like a family, right there Sonic was adopted, not took in, he got parents not best friends roommates and it's shown right at the beginning of the sequel.

Tom can't be Sonic best friend because he is his Father... And at the beginning Sonic didn't agree with that, he wants Tom to be his friend not his Dad and Tom gets worried because he can't give Sonic what he needs, friends! A gang, fellas like him to grow up with (awwww he is such a Dad and keeps punching people faces LOL 😂). And who appears? The ones meant to be beasties and bros!♥️♥️ And Tom and Maddie just adopted them all 😂😂😂😂 and Maddie... In that pink dress...😳😳😳 Oh Maddie why are you so pretty, beautiful and wonderful and stunningly gorgeous queen 💘💘💘🥵🥵(ok gay side stop simping) and seriously i bet she feels lucky as a vet+ animal lovers she got to be the mom of 3 kids who are also alien fluffy animals. And Rachel... Look a lot of people might think the wedding scene was unnecessary but honestly I think it was so much fun, Rachel was a queen and I have the theory that since she is in a relationship with Randall an agent of G.U.N that could mean they could be the ones Rouge the bat lives with (if she appears in Sonic 3), it makes sense since Rouge will work for G.U.N, so the Wedding scene to me would explain why Rouge will live with Rachel since Rachel is now more involved with G.U.N through Randall.

Tails... Aww Tails... He is just too much of a cute fluffy baby!!! This movie did justice to him! He is useful, brave, smart, he fights and even being intellectually superior to all the characters he is still behave like the 8 years old little kid he is! That dance scene was a bit like: why the hell is this happening? But not only was so funny it was such a sweet heartwarming bonding moment! The moment their relationship changed from friendly idol and awkward eager fanboy to best friends and brothers....(sonic tucked in tails like Tom did with him once and Tails covered him with his fluffy tails aadakrwadawae I'm having foam in my mouth because of all this cuteness!!!🥺🥺😖😖) And I'm guessing that Tails lived alone because his parents abandoned him out of shame of him having 2 tails or something, just like i suppose Sonic was abandoned too by his biological parents because of his power and was found by Longclaw... It's just a theory to make sense of all of it, we only know what happened with Knuckles dad... Both lonely and special and both reached out to meet their idols to be friends of them they so much alike 🥺🥺🥺(well actually sonic did it with Tom because he needed help and Tails reached out Sonic to help him Lol Sonic you are such a troublemaker 😂😂😂) So yeah Tails and his participation in the movie was top notch. (No more "help me sonic I'm helpless"😤)

No seriously his design is too much for my heart ❤️ He is fluffy SO FLUFFY i want to rub my face with those fluffy helicopter tails😍😍😍😍

Robotnick... Oh dear... Jim Carrey is the best...👌👌👌👌 He made a completely excepcional funny Eggman with the perfect mix of charisma, madness, evilness, cruelty and sadism!!👏👏👏 With the balanced amount of comedy and dark dramatic action... And excuse me? He even has his own simp? Agent Stone you are priceless 👌. Honestly it was hard to be angry with him even when he betrayed knuckles because is just too charismatic! (Still hard or not I got pissed... My poor baby knuckles... You egg bitch!)

And the cherry top... My precious Knuckles the echidna the one character who forced me watch this movies i didn't think they would be so good and shut my mouth 😖😖😖😖😖 ok ok first of all to the director of the movie :

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Along with Tails you did justice to knuckles!!! Finally 😭😭😭!! Knuckles wasn't stupid, retarded level!(hate hate hate what sonic boom did to knuckles🤬🤬🤬, sonic X did a better job) He is just naive a bit clueless and impulsive! Because he has a lot of pain and rage and has been Isolated for so long! And previously he lived kind of a more primitive like life basing on how his tribe looked like (after that he showed up with modern shoes and gloves, his dad had bandages instead) And unlike in other versions the fact that he believes eggman and immediately fights sonic doesn't look irrational because he already had a grudge against him for personal reasons, Eggman had to do nothing to convince him the hedgehog was "bad" he merely tricked him to get the master emerald and let him fight Sonic as a distraction. Also he got back to have his typical bad temper 🤣🤣 and he INTIMIDATES. So thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

His bonding moment with Sonic was as perfect as with tails he was betrayed and then they saved each other and finally sit to have a conversation with knuckles seeing sonic with a new light and them being rescued by Tails... All three together!!! Sonic Heroes!!!!!!😭😭😭😭 Fighting eggman robots just like in the game it was just sooooo epic!!!!

Also the respect in his design, he is a bit taller and beefy than he usually was in the games but not exaggerated like that big insulting hunk of Sonic boom ajjjj he is not supposed to be as tall as Vector or Big the cat 🙄🙄🙄 but here he had the balance, some centimeters taller than sonic and with muscle (not exaggerated) showing and in contrast with tails... My heart!!!😖😖❤️❤️ Tails is little enough to be picked up by Knuckles!! How pure is this?

Isn't just wholesome? The three of them were alone in the world and they found each other and got new human parents and became brothers🥺🥺🥺🥺 playing together, getting ice cream, acting like kids!!! Like the kids they are... i mean knuckles and Sonic are technically teenagers (16 and 15) but it makes sense that they have a more childish behavior than that age because growing up without adult examples does that, it makes you more innocent and of course Tails is 8 he is the actual child here XD and Sonic now that he got proper friends of his age is ready to accept Tom is his father and finally calls him Dad🥲👌

We also saw baby knuckles! Like baby Sonic 😭😭😭 we didn't see baby tails cause he is already a baby 🤗🤗🤗 and SUPER SONIC!!!! And then SHADOW!!!! Im honestly surprised i didn't die of excitement watching the movie 😵😵😵

And the best part is how the story with the master emerald and the extinction of the echidna tribe changed in a different path that makes sense and also conveniently provides a excuse for knuckles to stay with the other two permanently and not having to go alone to Angel Island to guard it and also they changed the jewel to a more comfortable size 👏👏😂😂 BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏😭👏😭👏😭 WONDERFUL WONDERFUL MOVIE BRAVO!!!

Theo watched the crowd with a certain wary anticipation. There were more people here than the cabaret could comfortably hold. All the tables were moved out and the floor was packed with people standing shoulder to shoulder. Quite a few were drunk and rowdy, trying to push for space. Impatient. 

“There aren’t many women here,” his girl said nervously, going on tiptoe to speak close to his ear. 

“Right. It’s mostly men and whor - ah, working ladies.” He tightened his grip on her waist. “Don’t worry about it. You’re with me, Hondje.”

She grinned up at him, some of the tension easing. “That’s right. I am.” Her chin rested on his arm. “Thank you for bringing me here. I really wanted to see an opera.”

“Opera-comique,” he pinched her bottom lightly. “It’s not Iolanta.”

“I don’t even know what that is,” she giggled.

A drunk lurched past their nearest neighbor, stumbling into her as she laughed. Theo tried to turn her so he took the brunt of the impact, but there wasn’t space to do it.

“Watch where you’re going,” the man spat, glaring down at her, then realizing this was a woman, he leered. 

Theo pulled her closer. “I think you need to move on, monsieur. Quickly.”

The drunk ignored him. “I could forgive you for a kiss.” His eyes drifted from her face to her bare shoulders and down the fitted gown she wore, tracing the shape of her under the fabric.

“I -”

“Franse slag! One more word and you’ll regret it.” Theo grabbed the man’s collar, his words a low rumble in his chest.

“What’d ya call me? I’m not scared of you.” The drunk drew back a fist. He was a big man with hard calloused hands, and in a fair fight, he might be able to take someone like Theo. But it was never a fair fight with a vampire. 

With a huff of annoyance, the girl pushed Theo and the drunk apart. “Are you both serious right now? If you start fighting, this place will turn into a riot.”

Theo shrugged. “I’m not letting this mierenneuker touch you. Or think about touching you.” Anger colored his cheeks and lit his eyes.

“I dunno what that means, but you won’t be able to say it when I pound yer face.”

Theo caught his fist and began to squeeze.

“Wait! Wait! Please, guys! Stop it!” Her protest did not have any impact. The men glared at each other. She put her hands on her hips. “Theo, if you don’t let him go, I’m leaving by myself right now. And . . . drunk guy! You’ll never get laid if you talk to women like that. Especially not ones that clearly have a boyfriend. So go home, get sober, and learn some manners!”

Her outburst attracted the attention of the people around them and several cheered. The ‘working girls’ clapped. 

After a tense moment, the men let go of each other. The drunk grumbled an apology and slunk away. 

Theo took her hand. “Didn’t know you had such a persuasive bark, Hondje.”

“Pffft. You could learn some manners too, you know. Still calling me a puppy. Lovers usually get nice nick-”

He silenced her with a kiss, lifting her off her feet. This brought more whoops and cheers. He didn’t set her down until she was breathless and glassy eyed. “That’s better,” he smirked. “Now stop yapping. The show is about to start.”

Hello Yuna!!! It's the Animal Crossing anon from yesterday! I'm so sorry I'm answering so late, but yes, I'd love to talk about Animal Crossing with you!!!

Isn't Bones the sweetest? I love his lil patch near his eye, and he has cute pink paws in New Horizons <3 And I also love his house because I love books!!! He's also my favorite villager personality type (lazy!), which means he loves to sleep and eat, so I give him new furniture and fish and fruit all the time. I have him in New Leaf, and he's the first villager I got a photo from, so we're besties! He also gave me chocolate on Valentine's Day <3 He's such a BABY, I don't have him in New Horizons yet but one day he will come home :(

My other two favorite villagers are Tangy and Jitters! Tangy was my best friend in my very first City Folk town, so she's also very important to me. Also, I just love her design! The cat, wolf, deer, and dog villagers are all elite. Jitters is not very popular because he looks like he's hyped up on caffeine or some other drug (look at the bags under his eyes, RIP), so a lot of people think he's ugly :( But he was one of my starter villagers in a bunch of my towns over the years, so I'm very attached to him and think he's really cute!

Other villagers I really love are Shino (ofc), Cherry (I LOVE her whole aesthetic), Apollo (goth dad number one), Roscoe (goth dad number two), Erik (another lazy baby), Aurora (penguins <3), Coco (I LOVE HER DESIGN AND SHE'S SO SWEET), Bruce (rockstar grandpa), Freya (she's pretty!), and Bam (he has lil freckles!) There's also this nerdy duck named Derwin that I am attached to because he looks so geeky, hehe.

I also love Gonzo (I LOVE the cranky villagers), Pashmina, and Lobo!!! You have great taste! I know Maple is really sweet and cute in theory but she was rude to me in my City Folk game when I was trying to get her a shirt, so I have a dumb grudge against her, lol. But yeah, I love Animal Crossing so much!!! <3

Starting from Mexico, the infectious agent of blight traveled up through North America, then crossed the Atlantic. Eventually it reached Ireland, where, as the journalist Charles Mann described it, “four out of ten Irish ate no solid food except potatoes, and … the rest were heavily dependent on them.” The Great Famine, as it came to be known, could have been avoided in any number of ways, not least by ceasing the export of food from Ireland to Britain. But the British government failed to take effective action. The question of avoiding starvation becomes harder still if some apocalyptic event causes the whole world to starve. How might a government prepare for a worst-case scenario? This is a question Joshua Pearce, an associate professor of materials science and engineering, and electrical and computer engineering at Michigan Technological University, began to think about while working on providing low-cost drinking water to the developing world. He found the prospect of disaster terrifying. “This would make us no better off than the dinosaurs, despite all of our technical progress,” he told me. “Humanity is too smart for that.” It sounds pretty terrifying to say, “cut down the rainforests even faster!” Pearce partnered with David Denkenberger, a research associate at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute. They looked around for detailed existing solutions and found just one: storing lots of food. But that, the two engineers realized, would probably feed the global population for a year or less. Zoologists had...READ MORE So they developed a set of solutions that they believe would provide five years of food for the Earth’s population, and published a book about it called Feeding Everyone No Matter What. I spoke to Pearce to find out some of the very gooey ways we might survive the apocalypse. What kinds of disasters do you think about? Let me take the most likely one: the nuclear winter case. Say two countries that both have access to nuclear weapons get very angry at each other, and then retaliate, destroying most of the major cities in the opposite country. The vast bulk of humanity would survive, eventually. Say maybe we lost 5 percent of the population. Ninety-five percent of us would still be alive. But then as those cities burned, you’d end up getting soot in the upper atmosphere that stays there and darkens the entire planet. And all the crops fail. As the world went dark, you’d have a couple of the more hearty crops survive—the trees would last a little while. But our standard crops? Your wheat, your rice, your corn? That’s all dead. You don’t get that harvest, and that’s what we feed the world with. Vegetable gardens, everything’s just dead. You can’t grow in darkness. As those crops fail, you’ll start to get hungry; you’ll start going into your stored food supplies. The historical assumption is that’s when we all go completely crazy. It’s bad. I’m sure you’ve seen the movies. There’s no good outcome there. That darkness will basically stay for around five years, until it starts to rain out of the atmosphere and then we’ll slowly but surely [get] more and more sunlight and start to rejuvenate agriculture again. There’d be a little bit of conventional agriculture that survives—like the grow houses. For example, in Japan they have warehouses that just have racks of lettuce growing under LED lights, and that would still work, but what fraction of the population would that feed? I’m sure that the wealthy in whichever culture would still pick tomatoes and lettuce, but the vast majority of the world would not be eating those. So what would we eat after the sky goes dark? There are many things that you can eat that we don’t normally consider food, particularly in the west. Leaves are one of them. You can eat leaves. You just have to be careful about how you do it. Leaves are high in fiber and we can’t digest any more than half of it, but if you chew the leaves and spit out the fiber you can draw out nutrients from it. Or you can make teas. Tea in particular is a relatively easy one to do. Pine needle tea has more than 100 percent of the vitamin C of orange juice. One could actually make pine needle tea from the pine tree in your backyard and get your vitamin C for the day. It’s actually a really good superfood. And in some cultures, like [South] Korea, they even have pop that is flavored with pine. That’s their drink. The other obvious one is insects. The conversion ratios between biomass and food in insects is much better than say, in cows. Beef production is unbelievably inefficient the way that we do it. In the west, we definitely turn our noses up at eating insects. But there are actually quite a few people throughout the world that eat insects today and, for feeding everyone, it is a very obvious solution. It’s not like you have to eat insects raw. You would never know the difference between say, a sausage patty, a veggie sausage patty, and an insect sausage patty. It’s all the same! It’s just the spices. Let the food scientists go crazy on it. If you looked at the amount of fish that we currently eat, it’s just a tiny fraction of the human diet. You can expand that much more without wiping out all the fisheries. If you have significant climate change, that will result in more upwelling [seawater rise from the depth of the ocean to the surface], which will be like fertilizing the ocean surface, and you get more fish. Similarly we can purposely fertilize the ocean in order to get more fish. So then we have enough fish to feed everyone. How do you catch it all? Then we started to look into how many ships exist—and if we converted all of them to fishing vessels, would that be enough in order to get enough fish harvested to meet demand? It turned out you end up with problems such as round trip distance. You can’t have little fishing boats go out and fish and then drive all the way back. The solution to that is ship-to-ship transfers of fish, which luckily, they already do now. So our fish solution is actually one of the better ones under certain circumstances. [But] it won’t work for everything. You still need some light. You’ve also suggested that we eat bacteria. How would that work? There are two main sources of bacteria that we looked at. There is a methane-digesting bacteria that you basically grow on natural gas. And then we can either eat that directly or process it or say, feed it to rats and then eat the rats. Then there’s the bacteria that we can grow directly on wood. Or on leftover mushroom waste. And so this would be taking down a tree, pulverizing it, turning it into a slurry, and then letting the bacteria go at it. When we have full agriculture production—no weird climate stuff going on—we still don’t feed everybody. So for instance, there are bacteria that secrete sugars they then use to feed themselves. You can pull out the sugars, and eat those ourselves and leave the bacteria and the partially decaying wood pulp. And we can feed that stuff to other things. So for instance, rats digest wood to some degree, particularly after it is partially broken down that way. This makes a fairly good solution. We could feed something similar to chickens. And chicken is something maybe people would maybe be happier to eat than bacteria milkshakes. Have you tried some of these solutions yourself? Oh absolutely. A lot of it was just to make sure that the taste wasn’t so bad that it would never happen. Stuff like pine needle tea is really not that bad. Many insects are, I would even go so far as to say, tasty? If you get by the initial sort of gag reflex. Let’s say we grow mushrooms on logs and everybody’s eating mushrooms. Of course, that’s not too scary. And then the waste product from that goes to feed ruminants like cows, and then [you’ve got] beef so you know, you can still have hamburger. It’s not that bad. We might be eating more of the cow than we do now, but it’s not that bad. In your book, you talk about this need for a lot of chain saws. Why would we need so many? All the trees would be dead, for lack of light. And so we would need to significantly ramp up our rate of cutting trees down. Plus, temperatures would drop. We looked at a 10-degree and a 20-degree scenario. In the 20-degree scenario, you start having things like say, all of the wood in Canada freezes. That type of problem. Even if we want to do things like chop the wood down and get fields of mushrooms and that kind of thing, frozen wood is much more difficult to deal with. That’s why global cooperation is so important. Because we’d basically be harvesting wood supplies from the equator. We’re probably the first to ever calculate how many chain saws there are in the world and what their duty cycles were and how fast we can manufacture them in order to make sure that we had enough cutting power. Instead of say, making small handheld devices, we could move that machinery over to making chain saws. Those kinds of technical switches, which are really not that hard for an industry to pull off, would need to be done on a massive global scale in order to give ourselves the tools we need. And I know from an environmental perspective, it sounds pretty terrifying to say, “cut down the rainforests even faster!” What was the most surprising thing you discovered? It turns out that there are several solutions to maintaining the entire global population with things like feedstocks of primarily fossil fuels and wood. The reason that’s so surprising is that right now, when we have full agriculture production—no weird climate stuff going on—we still don’t feed everybody. We still have little kids starving to death every day and yet, I know now that we can feed them on wood pulp. It would certainly be possible. That was very surprising. Haaretz reported Wednesday that an apartment building is being erected at the site of the Chiune Sugihara Forest near Beit Shemesh. David Shor, whose father was saved by Sugihara, said he was “shocked” by the development. The trees were planted 34 years ago by the Jewish National Fund, which told the paper it will plant a new woods in Sugihara’s name. The old one had become unsuitable due to the growth of neighborhoods around it, a spokesperson said. In 1940, Chiune Sugihara gave transit visas into Japan to thousands of Jews fleeing the Nazis. Last month, Nobuki Sugihara, a son of Chiune Sugihara, visited Israel with his wife and daughter, according to Haaretz. Ilhan Omar, D.-Minn., about the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which have widely been denounced as anti-Semitic. “I don’t know what is in the hearts of the two representatives,” Zakaria, who is Muslim, wrote about Omar and Rep. The latest addition to the network of free Sunday schools belonging to the JFUTURE network, which have more than 400 students, opened last week in Sofia, Bulgaria, according to the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. Other countries that have seen JFUTURE Sunday schools opening since the project’s launch in November include Montenegro, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Bulgaria, Japan, India and Kazakhstan. The students learn Hebrew and about Judaism. In each school, the students are divided into four age groups, including one for adults. Each class has up to 15 students. Teachers are recruited from within the Jewish community. Classes are held in Jewish community facilities. “This new generation is our people’s future, and it is our top priority to acquaint them with the history and tradition of the Jewish people,” Mikhael Mirilashvili, a Russian-Israeli billionaire and philanthropist and president of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, wrote in a statement. De Blasio’s statements on BDS come amid a debate in the United States on legislation designed to prevent the campaign’s supporters from receiving government contracts. Critics of the legislation say it limits free speech. The graffiti found this week in the western city of Kolomyya show a man tossing a Star of David in the trash. The memorial wall commemorates one of three Jewish cemeteries that existed there before they were razed and plundered. Eduard Dolinsky, the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, on Tuesday wrote on Facebook that the act was typical of a recent spate of anti-Semitic vandalism in Ukraine. Zhoie Perez, 45, a transgender free speech activist with a following in the thousands, was shot Thursday outside the Etz Jacob synagogue. Perez was taken to hospital in stable condition and her life was not in danger. The incident was posted on YouTube on Perez’s Furry Potato Live channel, which features videos of Perez and others confronting police to test their rights. In the video of her confrontation at the Jewish building, Perez focuses for several minutes on the private security guard as he grips a handgun. It is not clear why she was interested in filming the building or the guard. The guard appears to fire at the ground, at which point Perez is heard yelling, “The f—er shot me!” The Ohel Chana High School, which is located in the same building as the synagogue, told parents that she was shot after “canvassing” around the property. A guard confronted her and she “became belligerent,” the Chabad-affiliated school wrote to parents. Perez, who was released from the hospital later Thursday, said that she was trying to film the architecture of the synagogue, according to the LA Times. “I was just filming the exterior of the synagogue here, and getting a lot of like, the architecture, and all that, and the guard came out and just started freaking out, started putting his hand on his gun,” she said. Theodore Perlman and his wife, Harriette, announced their donation to BBYO on Thursday night at the group’s international conference in Denver. The gift, one of the largest single financial commitments to a youth-serving organization in modern history, will allow BBYO to launch and expand new programs and provides endowment funding that will support the programs in perpetuity. The funds will be used for the Anita M. Perlman Women’s Leadership Initiative, named in honor of Perlman’s mother, the founder of the B’nai B’rith Girls, or BBG, a division of BBYO. More than 5,500 teens and adults are attending the international convention, which is marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of B’nai B’rith Girls. Perlman is founder of The HAVI Group, a supply chain management, packaging and logistics firm. Humor is a strong tool that the organization is using to promote their message and pass along information. In the video below, Chelsea Handler guest stars alongside Biel to de-stigmatize sexual health if a fun and conversational way. Tryst Network on YouTube Handler walks in on Biel checking herself out in the mirror, and Biel asks if that's weird to do. Handler confidently responds, "No! You have to check in with your vagina. How else are you going to know what's going on down there?" Valid point. When asked about how to understand our bodies better at the MAKERS Conference, Biel said, "Get a hand mirror and take a look." WCG Cares on YouTube Biel is doing her part to stop the spread of misinformation about sex which will hopefully result in "no more missed orgasms." One of Tryst's strongest missions is to get reliable information out into the world. From the newest science on sex to below-the-belt health questions, revealing first-person stories, and discussions about critical issues like consent and equality — no topic will be TMI or too taboo. Since sex was the topic of conversation — of course, the question, "What's the best sexual advice that both of you have ever been given?" came up. Pelletier encouraged listeners that sex "doesn't have to be a burden," and it "doesn't just have to be the woman's responsibility." Basically, do what feels good and pleasurable — if it doesn't, feel empowered to ask why and make changes. Really solid advice. Biel chimed in to add, "Don’t do it in the ocean, ever. It’s not good... salty." Also, sound words to live by. Sexual health is important, and we should be able to talk about it openly. Hopefully, Tryst will start the conversation and keep it going.
