(E.M. x Fem!Reader x S.H.) Part 2 Series Masterlist.

Summary: Steve has massive crush on you, Eddie’s childhood bestfriend who just came home from collage. The only problem is you despised him in highschool and he’s pretty sure Eddie’s in love with you.

Warnings: Eventual smut, pining, love triangle, no upside down, eventual steddie x reader, angst with a happy ending, hurt/comfort, fluff, no use of Y/N so definitely a billion pet names. There’s not really any for this chapter, it’s mostly setting the scene for the rest of the story. Mentions of sex and some swearing. I will add additional warnings each chapter! But still my work is always 18+MNDI

A/N: Okay I found this in my docs and I was reading over it and got inspired to keep writing it. I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time about a Reader who has a kind of like pastel goth type of aesthetic. Like she plays D&D and loves horror but also really loves chick flicks and pink. She listens to Black Sabbath but then will turn around and listen to Blondie in the same 10 minutes. Collects Care Bears but has read every Anne Rice book. I feel like both Eddie and Steve would lose their minds over that. There will be no physical descriptions of reader besides the outfits she wears, which will be things like big chunky goth boots and fuzzy pink sweaters. Ngl it’s kinda self indulgent of me but I hope there’s others who can relate to her.🤭 divider I used is by: @firefly-graphics

Steve wasn’t obsessed with you, at least he tried to convince himself that was the case. He hadn’t seen you since you graduated and moved to the city. But ever since you’ve been back it’s like he sees you everywhere. You come into his work sometimes and rent horror movies, or on rare occasions you rent something totally cute and left-field like The Little Mermaid. You wore outfits that were somehow the hottest and cutest thing he’s ever seen at once, his favorite he’s ever seen you in was this short little black skirt and a pink button up cardigan that you replaced the buttons with little skulls all brought together by the big platform boots you’re usually wearing. That contrast just made him more infatuated with you. You were like sugar and spice wrapped up in one really beautiful girl.

But there were TWO major problems, one being that you hated him In highschool. He was an arrogant asshole who thought he was better than everyone, could do whatever he wanted and looked down on the kind of people you hung around. You were pretty quiet but outspoken and opinionated when you wanted to be, kept close to the few friends you had and always had your head in some kind of horror or vampire book that Steve would definitely not understand but would’ve totally listened to you talk about all day just to hear you talk about something you loved. He always thought you were pretty, even in highschool when you used to dress a lot more reserved. Mostly ripped jeans, the occasional Care Bears tee, and shirts of bands he didn’t know. He even asked you out once Junior year before he got with Nancy and you laughed in his face and said “yeah fucking right Harrington, good one” But now? You’re always wearing those little mini skirts, low cut tank tops, and ripped up fishnets. Steve literally feels like he can’t think around you.

Which brings him to problem number two…Eddie. You and Eddie are bestfriends and have been since middle school, he’s part of the reason you never liked Steve because of the way he and his friends treated Eddie. Even though Steve was never directly mean to YOU, his friends were and that was enough. But Steve and Eddie had a recently developed… acquaintanceship due to their mutual friendship with Dustin. It took some time and convincing but once they got past their preconceived notions of each other they were able to be civil. Eddie being in the group meant when you came back naturally you were integrated in as well. Which means Steve has seen you in an actual social setting multiple times now.

You think that would be great, right? Wrong. Eddie was constantly touching you. Holding your hand, putting his arms around your waist, you sitting IN HIS LAP. It drove Steve fucking crazy, especially because he knows that Eddie loves you and he feels just a little bad about it because he had actually started to really like Eddie and maybe even began to see him as a friend. But seeing him all over you drove him insane and made him have a bad taste in his mouth every time he heard his name. He was pretty sure you loved Eddie. The way you looked at him and the gentle way you handled him and spoke to him like he wasn’t the resident metalhead drug dealer but a giant teddy bear that needed to be hugged and cared for.

Steve would’ve given up in an instant if you said you were Eddie’s girl, but you always said you guys were bestfriends despite the fact that Eddie definitely called you his girl on multiple occasions to the entire group. You definitely had feelings for him. He could see it but there was also something keeping you from making it official and that gave Steve hope. Especially once you warmed up to him and started sitting on HIS lap sometimes. You would just come and plop down across his knees looking at him all sweet like it was the most casual thing and you didn’t just make his brain short circuit. You started calling him cute little pet names and kissing his cheek every time you saw him.

Again, these things would all be fantastic IF you didn’t do all the same things and more with Eddie. Every time you sat on Eddie’s lap he literally wanted to rip you off of him and kiss you right in front of Eddie’s smug face. He was always smirking at Steve over your shoulder because he knew Steve liked you. He confronted him about it last week when they were at the arcade with Dustin and Mike.

“So. You like her don’t you?” Eddie just asked him out of the blue. Steve looked at him with a confused look on his face not really registering what he meant at first “Huh? Like who?”

“Don’t play dumb man, you know who I’m talking about” Eddie scoffed and rolled his eyes

“Why would you think she would ever like you back? You treated us like shit in highschool and just because she’s more confident and can stand to be in the same room as you, now you want her? Fuck that. She deserves better than that, she is so much more than how she looks.”

Steve was kind of taken back at first, knowing he wasn’t exactly wrong “You don’t think I know that Munson? I don’t just like her because she’s hot. She also has this confidence and energy about her that’s just really attractive. She’s fucking funny and not afraid to be herself. She’s got that whole sugar and spice thing going on where she’s so sweet and gentle one second and the next she’s cussing like a sailor going off on these cute little tangents. I thought we established I’m not the guy I was in highschool anymore. I’m not some player trying to go through women. I like her.” he kind of didn’t mean to say ALL of that but it just kept coming out once he started talking about you he couldn’t help it.

“Okay I get it, you actually like her. Either way she’s never going to go for you, you aren’t even her type.” He grabbed the sleeve of Steve’s bright blue crew neck “I’ve never seen her be into a pretty boy like you, she likes dudes who look like they’re part of the lost boys clan or the dudes she sees on MTV.”

Steve couldn’t help but roll his eyes “Sooo, you then? If you love her so much then why aren’t you with her?” Eddie flushed and his face fell slightly “because man, she’s the most important person in my life. Imagine if we got together for real and then we broke up? Things wouldn’t be the same between us, I might lose her entirely”

“When you say ‘for real’ what does that mean?” Steve asked him, hoping it didn’t mean what he thought it meant.

“I mean we do a lot of couple things, we go on bestfriend dates, we are super affectionate with each other, we fuck sometimes, but both of us are scared if we decided to be together for real it would ruin it” Eddie shrugged like he didn’t just metaphorically punch Steve in the chest with that information.

“So what? Are you guys exclusive or what? Because if you’re not, I’m going to ask her out.” Steve just shrugged trying to play it off.

“Dude. Are you seriously going to ask out my girl after what I just said!?”

“Yeah, DUDE. You just said she wasn’t yours so is she or isn’t she?”

“Now that I finally have you around without Eddie I can ask the question I’ve been dying to ask, what’s the deal with you two? Are you like, together?” Robin suddenly asked you out of the blue.

Her and Nancy finally convinced you to have a girls day with them. You went and got mani pedis and picked up lunch so you could eat it back at Nancy and Jonathan’s apartment while you watched some movies Robin got from work.

“I mean… Technically? No. You could say we are like bestfriends with benefits I guess? We have kind of been fooling around off and on since sophomore year of highschool when we lost our virginity to each other.”

“And you’re… okay with that?”

“Yeah Robin, I’m okay with it. We decided a long time ago that us being together for real wasn't really an option. Imagine if we broke up? I couldn’t handle losing him.” You bit your lip, just the thought of losing Eddie made you anxious.

Now you had Nancy curious “So have you ever been with anyone else? Or are you guys like exclusive friends with benefits? Because if you’ve only ever been with him I’d say you’re pretty much together anyways.”

“Oh yeah, I’ve had hookups and flings, so has Eddie. I had a few guys I went on a couple dates with when I was gone at school but I’ve never had an actual relationship really. Neither has he.”

“So you’re telling us, you’ve been fucking on and off and on for almost EIGHT YEARS, never had a real relationship, and yet you guys still aren’t actually together? Don’t you think that’s maybe the reason neither of you have ever had a relationship? You’re stuck on each other?” Nancy, always the voice of reason.

“I absolutely know that’s why, I compare every guy to Eddie and no one has measured up. He treats me like a princess, why would I want a boyfriend who treats me anything less than that?” You shrugged and took another bite of your egg roll.

“Okay but what about when you do find that person? Or he does? What then? Things will change either way.” Robin questioned. She had her own reasons for bringing this all up in the first place. She knew Steve liked you, and he made her promise not to mettle but just asking if you were single isn’t meddling, right?

“I don’t know Robin, we’ve never talked about it. We will cross that bridge when the time comes.” You hoped they would let it go after that. It’s not that you necessarily didn’t want to talk about your relationship with Eddie, it’s just whenever anyone brings up that it probably has an eventual expiration date you feel like your whole world is crashing down.

“So there’s really no one you’ve ever thought you really really liked?” Okay, maybe she was reaching meddling territory now.

“Nope. Never. Can we just watch dirty dancing now?”

You didn’t feel like elaborating more than that, especially since recently there was someone you’d started to like. It was confusing and very much against your will but you had started to develop a small crush on Steve. You tried really hard to give him the cold shoulder when you first got back, you spent years with feelings of animosity towards him but if even Eddie could give him another chance you figured you could too. Then of course he had to be just so sweet, and such a gentleman, always telling you that you looked pretty and he smelled so good. It honestly made you want to punch him in the face. Or kiss him. Or both.

Robin narrowed her eyes at you but decided to drop it for now, even though she could tell there was definitely something you weren’t telling them with how quickly you decided to change the subject.

“Yeah okay, let’s watch the movie. But I’m not letting this go forever.”

“I didn’t even think for a second that you would.” You laughed and pressed play on the VHS.

Your love life wasn’t brought up anymore after that but that didn’t keep you from thinking about it. What would happen if Eddie got a girlfriend? You and him were never exclusive but the thought of him actually loving someone made you feel sick. Did he feel the same way? You hoped he did. Does that mean you want things with him to be exclusive? You’d never really allowed yourself to have those thoughts but now you were starting to wonder.

Then there was Steve, who just added to your confusion. Something about him just drew you to him, even back in highschool when you felt nothing but negative feelings toward him it was like he was everywhere you looked. Maybe you always had a small crush on him but would’ve never in a million years admitted it to yourself back then. It’s not like you would’ve ever had a chance, he treated everyone like you like dirt under his shoe. He never bullied you directly but him picking on your friends was enough to tell you how he probably felt about you too. Then you remember that one time Junior year when he asked you out, did he actually mean it? The thought that he might like you made your insides heat up and you felt like one of those girls you used to make fun of in highschool for swooning over him.

Robin could practically see the gears turning in your head, it was very obvious you weren’t watching the movie at all and she knew she told Steve she wouldn’t involve herself but she just had this feeling…

“You like Steve don’t you?” Robin’s voice snapped you out of your cycle of spiraling thoughts and you whipped your head around to look at her.

“What!?”

Just want to preface this by saying i love ur analysis sm- u put my exact thoughts into words when i cant verbalise whats wrong with a particular writing decision 🥲🥲

Anyway, smth ive noticed is how... little time vivzie actually spends on writing or characterizing or fleshing out her characters.

Which has to be the weirdest thing so far bc every writer and artist ive met agree that its the best part of making an oc! Its so fun to think of backstories and tie that into their current personality and generally just figuring out random details to get to know your characters!

Like, my ocs are my best friends, i know everything abt them from their trauma and childhoods, to their favourite food and music.

But time and time again she proves that her characters are at best acquaintances... the fandom fleshes out the characters so well and with so much love and care and thought that vivzie herself cant do and its just sad.

Not even mentioning the hundreds of retcons and how characters will just change personality randomly or act out of character which results in the work feeling like a fanfic of itself. (Ironic considering some fanfics have better and more consistent characterisation)

It feels like shes making it up as she goes, instead of having an actual plan. Just shoving random ideas she likes or picks up from the much more creative fandom into the 2 shows without actually stopping and thinking abt the consequences or implications.

Theres so many decisions shes made that irk me so bad... the ideas individually have potential but they either dont fit the show or have to make huge retcons and result in the plot not making any sense.

Also, ngl but she has the worst case of tell dont show ive ever seen my god 😭😭 like... you realise you have to show things instead of just fucking singing it or having a character say it??? Or is that another thing that the fandom has to do so they can convince themselves that the show has good characters??

Atp idk how to salvage the show... i keep finding more and more plotholes and unless i literally turn my brain off and only focus on haha funny dick joke or pwetty colors, these questions keep popping into my head making it a painful unenjoyable experience.

Again, if the fandom has to justify your bad nonsensical hypocritical worldbuilding then you failed. Massively.

Anyway im very sleepy rn just wanted to rant a bit bc im a writer and artist myself and it pisses me off how someone gets their show on the air and still doesnt care abt putting in effort into their plot or characters beyond aesthetics and random ideas that dont go well together...

You’re speaking facts! And it’s honestly like..kinda funny too that people who have their own OC’s can flesh them out and deep dive into their arcs/backstories ect, yet a professional showrunner who’s had these characters for YEARS can’t even give the majority of her characters flaws or quirks, or even consistency, same goes for Helluva Boss.

Viv is a really good example at letting inspired writers know what not to do when making a story and characters so at least they have that lol.

the two of you have definitely made a few tracks purely for your enjoyment (like this)

Hewo! This is my Second story and I’m just want to say this is sfw ONLY and not a kink. It is a coping mechanism used to help in many different ways and is NOT ddlg. Half Summary: You didn’t quite know why you self-harmed…Fucking hell. yes you did it was beacause of your family/mom/dad/gardian/etc Constantly body shaming, yelling, controlling, (etc) and most importantly neglecting (at) you so you used Age regression as a way to help you. Your boyfriends Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson were your Caregivers and loved you so much and never judged you. You felt like age regression was really helping you get past the past..That was until your mom/dad/guardian/etc walked in your room as you were trying to shift with your Paci in your mouth and bottle next to you while watching cartoons..She took everything

“M-Mom (/dad/guardian/etc) wait! Give it back!” y/n said “NO What is this bullshit! Your acting like a baby and its Stupid you know God wants us to grow not act like a baby be the big girl you oh so claim to be and figure out your problems like a normal human being and GROW THE FUCK UP!” your mom said yelling and shouting at you which you were sensitive to and throwing the paci and bottle away. you flinched and whimpered. She left and slammed your room door shut. You broke down in tears as you started to pack your stuff, just some clothes and the f/c (Favorite color) stuffie that Eddie and Steve gifted to you after learning about your age regression about 2 years ago. Then you see it..The box that you keep your razor in you set down your f/c (Favorite color) bag with cute fidgets, keychains and things that you can play with which Steve and Eddie also gifted to you as one of your birthday presents.

You opened the box, saw the razor and everythings came back to you, that feeling that never gets old. Eddie and Steve knew about your self harm and you told them you stopped and you did..at the time you told them. You tried to stop but everytime something bad happened you did it. You had been clean for about 2 months now and today you told yourself only 5 cuts…but 5 turned into 10…and 10 turned into 20…. And before you knew it you were at 38…you were crying so much just wishing Steve and Eddie we’re there to stop you..now you felt like your arm was ruined by cuts..you put the razor back into the box and packed it still sobbing. You had no Idea why you still lived with your parents/parents/guardian/etc . You just didn’t when you turned 18 (or age) you could move out but you didn’t in hopes to fix things but no you made everything worse you thought. You grabbed your bag and left getting into your car. You're still sobbing and crying and you started to drive. You didn’t know where you just drove not even noticing that your cuts we’re bleeding badly and needed to be treated soon, you left at 2:22pm and didn’t stop driving until about 10:22pm your walkie was in the passenger seat eddie and steve decorated it for you it was f/c (Favorite color) with f/t (favorite things) type stickers it buzzed and then you heard steve's voice “Y/n?? Y/n come in! Where are you?” You thought about not picking it up but that would just cause them to worry more “Y/N/? Baby are you ok??” Eddie said you slowly picked it up hesitantly but still you pressed that button now there was no going back “y-yes..” you said weakly with a slight crack in your voice. “Baby! Oh god! Where are you? It's been 3 days!” Steve said then it hit you..You 're driving for three days straight, you 're thinking too much. You looked at your arm and saw a lot of dried up blood  “Sweetheart!” Eddie called “y-yes s-sorry um…” You looked around to see that you weren't far from Steve's house “I-I actually am heading to steve’s house..” you said as you drove there “No. No. Well yes come here but tell us where you have been and where you are now.” Steve said it in a tone that scared you slightly. You put the walkie down and drove to Steve's house ignoring the questions from Dustin, Nancy, Steve, Eddie and Max as well. About 1 hour later when you were at Steve's house you grabbed your bag and opened the car door shutting and locking it then walking up to his door putting your sleeve down so they didn’t see the cuts. You opened  the door to see a Steve whose head was in his hands slightly in his hair while his leg was bouncing up and down and a Eddie who was mumbling things about you and pacing back and forth they,turned their heads to the door because it opened and saw you.

Their eyes widened and they ran up to you and hugged you “Where were you y/n??” Steve said “We were worried sick” Eddie added on. It took you a moment to reply but you shrugged and just walked up to Steve's room causing them to let go and follow you “Hey! Answer me!” Steve said, grabbing your arm slightly raising his voice..You flinched and tears fell out of your eye’s..not only because he yelled but because he was grabbing your arm too tight..the same arm you cut “O-Owie!” You said starting to shift into little space “Let Go!” You said snatching your arm back but his grip only got tighter causing you to let out a quiet sob and tried to hit his chest as hard as you can over and over but the punches only came out as soft little hits (The same exact thing that mike did to hopper when mike found out hopper was hiding el) “Y-”steve started trying to stop and hug you Hit “H-Hey” Eddie stepped in and held you from behind wrapping his arms around you waist but you hit him saying “Lwet! gwo!” hitting him again the punches became softer and softer until you're just bawling your eyes and heart out into Eddie’s chest. Steve let go of your wrist and hugged you not knowing exactly what to do, eddie picked you up rocking you and gently shushing you he himself didn’t know what to do but he just thought this was the best Idea you sobs tuned into cries which turned into whimpers which turned into sniffles which turned into soft snores Steve got out your f/c (Favorite color) pj’s and made a bath while eddie laid you down slowly taking off your bottoms as to not wake you up he did the same with the shirts and undergarments and it wasn’t until he picked you up and brought you to the tub that he noticed..the cuts..”s-steve” he whispered “hm?-'' he stopped when he came in and saw your arm “baby…” he walked to you and gently picked up your arm so as to not wake you up and closed his eyes with some tears falling and sighed. “I’ll get the first aid kit..” Eddie said wiping his eyes to avoid tears but they still left his eyes. After 20 mins you were washed up and your scars were wrapped and treated. Steve picked you up and wrapped you in your f/c (Favorite color) towel and took you to the bed lotioning you (Etc) and putting on your pj’s (For my black girl audience like me or just audience that wraps their hair up if there’s any they did wrap your hair up scarf/bonnet etc) and laid you down putting a paci in your mouth and your bottle with water in it on the nightstand next to you. They got in the bed on each side of you, kissed your forehead, put their foreheads together, hugged each other then kissed each other's forehead saying good night, laying down and going to sleep. 

10am You woke up, Not sure where you were and not remembering anything you rubbed the sleepiness out of your eyes and realized you were in your boyfriend(s) home in his bed alone and you had your pj’s on, paci in your mouth and your arms were wrapped. You started to panic they find out about you cutting before you could get too deep in thought the door opened to reveal your two lovely boyfriends with f/p/b/f (Favorite pancakes/ breakfast food) and eddie with your bottle filled with milk “Morning little one” Steve said “Morning bubba” Eddie said “M-Mornwing daddies” you said looking into your lap playing with the bandages not sure if they were still upset about the cutting “Sweetheart look at me” Eddie said setting the bottle on the nightstand and sitting on the bed and grabbing your arms and folding them so your hand was over your cuts on each arm “No.” you unfolded your arms confused and he folded them again “No.” Eddie said you unfolded them getting that he’s saying no to you cutting and he folded them again “No.” Eddie said grabbing in between your folded arms holding them together “Talk to us..we are here we love you and you and us both know that this is not helping.” Steve said, setting down the tray of food. You were sobbing Eddie pulled you onto his lap and hugged you, Steve softly sushing you and Eddie holding you close to and rocking you. Once you stopped crying they sat you down and each wiped each eye “Talk to us baby..What made you do this to your pretty arms?..” Steve said, taking off the bandages. You let everything out and told them everything from your family/mom/dad/guardian/etc being toxic to your mom/dad/guardian/etc throwing away your paci and bottle. They were furious by the time you finished talking. “Live here.” Steve said “h-huh-” “Live here. So this can stop. we can stand seeing you struggle like this little one” steve said “We will talk to you about it when your big again but until then~” Eddie started planting kisses all over your face while steve kissed over top of your cuts causing you to let out giggles and laughs “Your pretty” Eddie said in between kisses “Your worth it” Steve said in between kisses and more compliments and kisses just kept coming until you heard “You. Are. Loved.” Eddie said, `` Which made you smile as your lip quivered “You hear us little one? You. Are Loved No matter what. So promise us you will talk to us when you're sad or you feel like you want to hurt yourself again. Please..” Steve added on it took you a second but you said it “I prwomise daddys.” they smiled “Thank you princess” Steve said “Thank you sweetheart” Eddie said “I’s wuv chu daddas” you said “We love you too little one” They said sitting up steve wrapping your arm up and eddie Cutting up your b/f (Breakfast food) into smaller pieces so you don't choke and once steve was done you 3 ended up eating, cuddling, and watching cartoons all day.

overall: i liked the first half better than the second half. first 50% was soooo addicting. i loved the world building and dragons and war college and challenges so much but i’m just not a huge romance person. like the romantic buildup is amazing but afterwards i’m just meh. of course there was the expected tropey/ cliche/ booktok moments BUT most of it was overshadowed by how great the other aspects of the writing was. i dissociated at the end and didn’t really feel attached to violet or xaden or even the dragons (this is a me problem) but i think the ending is great set up for book 2 (will probs give it a read). like u can tell where the book is going but then the author does something unique to make it a little different than other books in this genre, so idk how many surprises book 2 will have. the fact that i read this is in less than 24 hours says a lot though. i hope mira comes back :D

OKay so arguably the TWSTverse goes the best with the EAHverse. I may rant about Descendants later but lemme get this out first via Headcanon.

Riddle Rosehearts:

The hedgehogs get along.

He and Lizzie have an odd relationship. They both have mommy issues but they both want to live up to their mothers' standards. Riddle has a hyperfixation for her mom and a deep seeded pride regarding her, that gets strained when he and Lizzie commiserate about shitty moms. Lizzie feels weird cuz he's nice but he idolizes her mom and that's awkward when you both have bad moms you still love in a strained almost begrudging way. They're good friends but don't seem like it due to the awkwardness of it all

He really gets along with Kitty and Maddie. Strangely Maddie is the one that reminds him of Che'Nya (Kitty does too because duh but personality wise). Always talking in riddles and rhymes but still a very good friend.

Gets introduced to Ginger via Trey and has to fight himself internally to not fucking ask for a strawberry tart from her. He's genuinely curious as to what it tastes like but knows that Trey would grill his ass into knowing which one was better and would face Dorm Card Trey Consequences. 

Trey Clover:

Rebel and always has been.

He's great friends with Lizzie due to her being kinda just a tamer Riddle.

Friends with Kitty and Maddie as well.

Has had baking contests with Ginger. (Friendly? maybe.)

Midkey respects Daring for having that pearly white of teeth. He's a little jealous, but Trey has the leg up because Daring is kinda vapid.

Is weirdly close with Mad Hatter cuz Trey is always able to concoct whatever weird flavor he's asked for.

Cater Diamond:

He's a Rebel 4lifer

He and Goldie are fucking ride or die besties. Swapping influencer tips? Yes. I bet they even got matching endorsements.

Him and Maddie are besties but not as much. He likes how bubbly she is.

Cater also really gets along with Briar and they're able to connect a little about insecurities and socializing stress.

Cater would fucking love it here everything is so aesthetic and his Magicam would blow tf up plus he's so girlie pop I don't think the transition would be that hard for him. He fits in really well.

Deuce Spade:

Rebel 

NGL him and Ace also fit into EAH really well they're good people (most of the time) and their flaws are light hearted enough to survive transplanting. Deuce is just a lil ditzy and has some anger issues but really loves his mom and baby chickens??? Just a little guy energy.

He would get along well with Cerise imo. Their vibes are similar to me, that is the best explanation I have.

Probably has a crush on Raven he also relates somewhat to the bad past but wants to be good things.

Ace Trappola:

Ace is a shitter. Fucking asshole goofster. But he has a pretty decent head on his shoulders.

Really gets along with Kitty being two shitsers.

Strangely good friends with Lizzie. I mean if you're gonna rule at least be fair yeah?

He's absolute BESTIES with Darling. Because they're both feminine and want to break out of what life has assigned them. 

He's also pretty tight with Cedar.

Vil Schoenheit:

I hate to say it but my man is a centrist.

He understands and respects the audacity the royals have to think they can force others into roles they aren't meant for. However that's kinda his whole fucking issue in life. He doesn't mind some of the Royals, Apple is certainly more bearable than Neige and I'm certain that Vil can see right through her.

Sympathizes with Apple honestly. He'd want to like this Evil Queen and has pointed out her good points like being strong at magic and a good manipulator but also she's kinda a bitch so womp womp.

Totally gets along with Raven he's like the midpoint between the two.

Is very annoyed by Goldie.

Even tho I think Ruggie has the weird trauma impulse that he has to earn his keep or earn others love for him so while I think Leona would be nicer to Ruggie part of that kindness is the unspoken way Leona lets Ruggie "steal" from him or do his laundry or whatever to feel like he has "earned" that money or food when those are just things people should do for you or do their best to provide for you because you exist and you are loved and cared for.

Anyway I just think we'd get a softer and a bit less cynical Ruggie. Not less crafty tho.

But he should be loyal to whatever it is Malleus chooses, but what if in this world the book chose some STRANGER to be Malleus' knight and not him? AND THEN WHAT IF

In short he's very likely a Rebel he's just gotta get their. 

Crisis of Identity part 2 aka (I've conquered my internalized racism at being part human but now I'm not sure who I am personality and morality wise. What a conundrum! The Musical The Series The Musical.)

All in all things would go pretty well together not that ANY of what I said explains that, but in long:

EAH is based on the idea of Destiny v.s Free Will and talks about the deep seeded fears and problems that would come from a society that tells you you must be one thing your whole life when you want to be another. Which goes very well with how the Overblots happen. 

Riddle is pressured and abused by his mother to be a perfect star child and that pressure is too much for him and he snaps. 

Leona is always considered second best and less than his brother. 

Azul has a poorly written (imo) overblot but he wants to feel comfortable in his own skin and feels he needs to do so by being in total control of every situation so he can look good and not feel inferior, as he was bullied in his childhood.

Jamil has to downplay himself to make Kalim look better and is made to live a life where he can never be his true self. 

Vil also has a poorly written overblot (imo) but he wants to feel loved and appreciated and to not be the villain he's always casted as. (Literally Raven's ENTIRE thing)

Idia wants to be a hero, and cope with the guilt of feeling like he killed his brother.

Malleus is grappling with mortality and not having a "proper" family. (Briar does the first half of this in the show)

EAH also does bend and change these "destinies"

Darling being Apple's "Prince"

Daring being with Rosabella when he was certain he'd be with Apple.

In the books, Cedar coming to terms with "being human" without having to be made of physical flesh and bone or being actually human. Thus disregarding the need for her story. 

Apple being the more ruthless between her and Raven when she is supposed to be kind and sweet.

Red and Big Bad being together.

In the books again, Brooke interacting with the story.

I recently finished disco elysium. Like a day ago? It was a pretty cool game maybe I will replay it. I don't know if I "connected" with it as much as the fandom but I definitely understand why ppl felt so attached to it. At first I didn't know shit about the game literally at all I put my points mostly into logic and encyclopedia and little bit of pain ther/hand eye later on in the game. I started to realize at the beginning that the game was a heavily literature game and sometimes I don't hate games like that I'm ngl I will skip dialogue especially at the time I'm like "I got a case to do". Um but when I went into the library at the start of the game I realized encyclopedia gave u most of the time random facts about shit that wasn't necessarily "important" I didn't mind but when prompts would come up "in the mind" sometimes logic or ency would jump in and I'd say to myself this is pretty irrelevant right now and laugh about it. It's like my own mind was distracting me which is pretty funny cause I relate irl. I definitely felt the "deepness" of the character's dreams I've recently been haunted by my dreams. And realizing I'm not just some stupid ass cop and I had some darkness so deep the dream sequences were actually "shivers" but so interesting and pretty. Sometimes I definitely felt like I didn't understand but some parts of me did and "didn't". Maybe some of it was just for aesthetics. But it fit. It definitely made me interested in replaying the game for sure but idk when I will cause again the dialogue can be pretty heavy at times replaying it I wouldn't want to miss certain stuff. Also (correct me if I'm wrong I don't mind) but I felt like when he kneels in front of the mural of that figure I think she reminded him of his wife and I picked that option just cause. But I didn't realize he saw her as this all mighty being. Until the "final boss" of the dream sequence when she's leaving him. It was pretty sad being in love with someone and still not getting over it. How vulnerable it leaves u. I felt Harry's pain but honestly when the game was ending it made me feel like "maybe things aren't so bad for me" cause we solved the case I was happy with my choices letting the blonde hair girl go. And not seeing ruby shoot herself in the fucking face. I liked that I was super inquisitive than I thought I'd be. Something as simple as taking a mug and showing it to a "semi racist" lol and figuring out he had a piece of the armor. That's something I really loved about the game no lead was untouchable or insignificant. I kinda wish I got to see what happened in the end but I guess u can infer. I felt like The union guy was using us from the start so I didn't get the 2 ppl sigs (but I got 2 random drunks) so I didn't know if still count toward the construction stuff. And honestly him thinking we'd do whatever he wanted cause I was a dumbass cop was fitting b/c as the player I didn't know who to trust, I just wanted to figure out the case and have some resources since I was bone dry in a bender I had no memory of. All in all the game was interesting as hell if u like story driven rpg. Choices matter type deal. I hated that ppl genuinely hated the blonde hair chick cause she lied. I think it's such a stretch cause yeah it was a bit of a run around she was helpful to the case.(please I'm not looking for debates) I'm just saying she had her reasons for lying. And I wasn't surprised she later on left. I wish we could've helped them more it felt nice helping them even if I helped them "escape" they weren't bad ppl. Most of the revachol ppl weren't just different. I never actually "hated" anyone in the game lol. Everybody was poor and had some attitude but not bad I liked most of the characters tbh. Kim was my nigha for sure and the fact u could actually take the jackets from those dudes was pretty funny. Uh yeah good game cool game. The fucking phasmid showing up AT THE END OF THR GAME I WAS LIKE WTF?? Lol we actually got a picture of it too. Anyways Harry yeah ur depressed now but u have a good job ur a good person and u are disco??

(Drug in from my DA) The drink idea is kudos to Caffinated-Pinecone who did one for their original series's(?) as well. I considered doing either the drinks or the ornaments, but the friendos decided the drinks won in the end. So I just did the main crew [And, in top left to bottom right order, they are] -Azuro is a...margarita? Mimosa? Orange juice? Whatever is fucking tropical dude. It might just be some Areinian fruit and I'm just too lazy to be specific or anything. Added an umbrella for 1. aesthetic and B. color palette (because some of these you may notice aren't the "most" obvious to characters. I went for aesthetic, not necessarily color palette.) -Inx was REALLY difficult, ngl. I gave up on what drink she was exactly (because 90% of them didn't exist in the mid-1800s) so it's probably just water in a fancy old-fashioned glass. Still pretty, though. And pretty mysterious. -I went for a big jug yet a fun drink with Bash, because while he is...well, Bash, and particularly Arrogant Bash for a good while at first, he's also got a heart of gold and the perfect ratios to turn into a himbo (pure of heart, broad of chest, dumb of ass). And holy shit would he die for ice cream. -Celesta's is...probably the MOST obvious of the pack here. I mean I wasn't going to pass up opportunity for "sparkly magic shit in a glass". In all honesty though, that is probably either sweet tea or grape juice. It just has a certain magical flare to it, I guess. -Penn's mug is definitely a weaker one here but kind of for a reason? Like you can tell it's well-loved and sorta second-hand or just old. And damaged. Is she gonna get that fixed? Who knows honestly. But hey, it works well enough. -Spade is the other "kinda weak" of the pack and it's actually more because I was already on to coloring when I got a better idea for a mug design. So while I do really love the Moonchild thing and the theme of naturey and nightowl and all that, I think Spade would fit a NASA mug just as well. So either or, those would be exchangeable. And I added marshmallows last-minute because it just tied together the camper vibe. -Paige's was among one of the easiest (next to Azuzu up there) simply because she has a very clear "vibe" in my mind and it's very shabby-chic and fancy in a simpler way, not over the top exactly but almost fairytale-esque. You can't blame her, with her head in a book most of the day. I was extremely tempted to do other characters too (like Hera or Kleid, even some characters I haven't revealed yet and am itching to finally make and release) but, for the sake of wanting to get this out quickly, I just kept it to the Main Caravan.

arc v 22 - 30 thoughts!!! whew these eps. set up stuff is important. also, good masumi yuzu moments.

-my god. yuya literally accidentally taking yuzus polymerization card from her and making it his thing when she practiced so hard with it. FUCKing apt metaphor for how I feel she should be the protag and shes being robbed of her role (im sorry I genuinely have nothing against yuya but shes so much more interesting to me! she feels like a classic protag!) im glad he gave it back at least…I was afraid she'd refuse it for some reason…

-in the crowd you can see ppl wearing cute duel monster accessories, like one girl had a dark magician girl headband/visor thing! very cute, wish we saw more things like that. in pokemon anime they do that a lot and its always such a delight…I want more duel monster cosplay moments! or references in charas outfits!

-ok yuya being the damsel during gongenzakas duel while yuzu is the one yelling, telling gon not to worry is……furthering my idea that yuzu is main chara and yuya is in the position of side character of different gender than main character (who is often a damsel or person to worry over the most). hes the anzu/kotori of the show. to me. JKJSDH (also, gongenzaka, is perfectly nice and fine but its so hard for me to care deeply about him aaaahg even with the episodes centered around him…hes so straightforward and steady, tho. good for him.)

-….the guy who gongenzaka's dueling should be disqualified. he had his goons try and jump yuya! god why isnt he automatically disqualified! doesnt the broadcast pick up audio?? he like, admits to it!
