she rips the microphone from its stand, walks up to the bowl with the female tributes’ names, violently rips out the only name inside and starts ranting without even seeing whose name it is. because she knows it’s hers.

‘oh, i wonder who the fuck that is! huh? what do you think? i’ll read it now!’ she shouts and makes the speakers almost shut off from how loud she is. she then rips the paper and without even looking at it she throws it into the crowd.

‘oh! it’s me! i didn’t expect you to wanna fucking kill me again! i’ll make you pay for it, you pedophile creep!’ she shouts into the sky.

and, of course, her words are meant for president coriolanus snow who’s sitting in his office, watching the scene, chuckling and then coughing blood into his handkerchief.

his expression shifts from amused to dead serious within less than a second.
