After very little research into the other writings of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Rose Wilder Lane, my hypothesis about the Little House authorship question is that the writing is mostly Rose's, but the heart is Laura's.
In Laura's newspaper columns, the parts that sound most like Little House mostly come from the extracts she shares from Rose's letters (incidentally, it's kind of adorable how proud she is of Rose: "My daughter's in France!", "My daughter's in Albania!", etc.) The prose of Old Home Town, Rose's inspired-by-my-childhood-home novel, has some of the same concise descriptive prose that I've come to associate with the Little House style (I could hear passages in the voice of the Little House audiobook narrator).
Yet the Little House soul is all over Laura's columns. She's fascinated by the simple tasks of life, believes in home and family and hard work, believes in holding onto the goodness of childhood and looking forward with hope toward the future. There's an optimism, almost a romanticism, about life. The children's series that bears her name clearly comes from the same woman.
Rose, by contrast, is much more pessimistic. When writing about childhood, she's almost cynical about the life of a small town. She highlights the dark stories underlying the wholesome exterior, is extremely sensitive to the pitfalls of the social scene around her. Part of the difference is that Rose is writing for adults, but there does seem to be an essential difference in the personality behind the pen, despite the stylistic similarities to Little House.
(At the risk of pop psychoanalyzing people long dead, Rose seems much more neurotic and introverted and sensitive than her mother. In her writings and in the books about her childhood in Missouri, she comes across as child of a fairly comfortable modern life, with all the modern anxieties, in contrast to a woman who grew up starving on the prairie and knows that there are much worse things to endure than small-town gossip).
It's not much of a thesis, but I'm just fascinated by the fact that the Little House series can share so many stylistic similarities with Rose's writings, yet feel so much more like Laura.

What the frell. They decided to tell Cagliostro she wasn't trans. The one who made her own body and purposefully chose her own gender. Who respects someone similar to herself decision that she wanted to stay in the body she was born in. That great person. Wonderful person.
What the heck.
YEAH I KNOW RIGHT
tbh it adds to my general frustration that happens every once in a while on how, gbf's lgbt rep is actually pretty good, but every once in a while it will breach containment and every. single. time. i get to end up hearing the most bad faith takes ever from people who don't even bother making a google search.
with Cagliostro it's always downright erasure. Just, people refuse to believe she's trans. I've seen other people say that since her transition was magical (ie: putting her soul in other bodies) it didn't count. As if it mattered when we have Cags for example having a panic attack when she was drowning because it was reminding her of her original, sickish body that she felt dysmorphia about. Like, it's not like they're NOT tackling important themes with that either??? like COME ON.
then we have anytime someone outside of the fandom learns about Ladiva where there's always an uproar about how her design is insulting, and honestly kudos for the fandom to always come in drove about it like "why the fuck are you insulting our mother."
It's like you can't win. You either have a trans character who passes enough that people are constantly denying the validity of the trans narrative of their characters, or they don't pass enough and it's a hundred threads about why this character is the worst possible type of trans rep ever.
and it's double frustrating when you actually have both of those characters discuss about dysmorphia and the idea of passing to start with. That you see the two of them having radically different approach and feelings on the matter and conclude that both of them have a valid approach about it and they love and respect each other regardless because even if the way they live it is different, they're still both living through the same experience.
And as fans of those charas it's always so frustrating!!!
And it adds a layer on frustration of constantly having to defend if they're good trans rep or not while, on top of just that, they're fully fledged characters in general, and yet we're always there having to argue about a basis that is not ignored by canon but not even the major focus of each characters. Like oh my god i'd love to be talking about just how great No Rain No Rainbow's theme was in regard to Ladiva's savior complex at her own detriment or the complexity of Cagliostro's arrogance be confirmed by the narrative as completely earned because literally no one is as smart as her and she's one of the people you can always count on with preventing an apocalypse because she laughs at the face of gods and she earned it. But instead we just constantly have to get back to those people like "no, they're not bad characters because you are drawing conclusions over the validity of their trans narrative by their designs alone", it's so frustrating.
It feels like running in circle and it's so tiring.
On this specific case it was just a poll, so it's not like i expect people to do researches about the characters they don't know about. But it's so frustrating to see this narrative of still erasing the fact Cagliostro is trans from people who've never heard of Granblue and how it happens aaaalll the timmmeeeee and it's so annoying. so damn annoying.
We can never win somehow.
But it's okay, /we/ know what's up. We know Cags is the best. (and Ladiva too). Can't be fooled by people who just don't know what they're talking about.
I'm just going to be constantly frustrated with people drawing conclusions about our girls just because they want to assume the worst out of a niche saga to start with. sighs.

7. Do they (or would they) pursue the other character’s affection, and if so, how? Do they tell the other character how they feel? Try to earn their admiration? Woo them with romantic gestures? Flirt with them, skillfully or otherwise?
Nailah pursues G'raha's affection in the most oblique ways possible, all for the sake of plausible deniability should he not return her affections. She'll try to spend time around him ("I have nowhere better to be" or "I think you'll like this place") or she'll get food for him ("I was hungry and bought more than I could eat") or she'll bring a neat trinket for him (she doesn't even try to justify it, she just leaves it with a little note on his desk saying its for him).
Words don't come easily to her, and even less so when she's trying to communicate her feelings. Whenever she's tried to tell him how much he means to her, even as a friend, the words get caught in her throat and refuse to come out. She's somewhat better at writing her thoughts into poetry, but her poor handwriting and habit of switching between hroth and common makes them difficult to read. She has recently discovered an interest in scoring music, though, and is trying to compose a song to give to him in the form of a small music box. She hopes it will, at the very least, show him how she sees him as a good friend and admires his character.
On G'raha's side, he tries to be as verbally open as possible with her without outright saying he loves her. He'll tell her about places he's recently read about to try and make conversation with her, which she usually obliges in her normal terse way. He'll shower her in compliments at the slightest provocation, nearly waxing poetic at her accomplishments, which she bashfully brushes off. His most successful attempts have been letters detailing what he's been up to since they last met, which he leaves in her room at the annex for her to find later. She cherishes each one she finds.

some more rambles, but its just generally how i characterize everyone in the fgod au.
I wanted to keep everyone closer to canon, but not too close so that they can still get along.
Error - Doesn’t actually mind destroying that much, just hates getting told what to do.
He is more mature than canon, but has anger issues and no way of working on them. Social recluse and a hermit, only really goes out to do his job or sulk in outer-tale.
Seen as a cryptid and boogeyman of the multiverse.
Ink - He isn’t a creator, and they are different entities. Although, whenever he sees an unfinished AU he makes sure to complete it. Causing it to take up more space than intended. Those are also the AU’s that are meant to be destroyed.
The reason why he does it is because he projects himself onto them, he was abandoned too and never wants to go through it again. Fate cannot tell him to stop because of his lack of Soul, which is where the Red Strings mainly latch onto. The AU’s that get finished by him turn into their fanon versions.
Example: Swap turns into Blueberry.
Takes the destruction very personal bc of his attachment. He sees failing to protect them as abandonment. He is very protective of them, and acts a lot like a dragon, with the AU’s as his hoard. Whenever he is confronted about it, he refuses to open up about it. Ends up pushing people away bc he is scared of them leaving.
Swap - Acts like canon Swap. His AU got abandoned, but not destroyed.
The only reason why it was still around is because it was completed, although the AU became very stagnant. Nothing was really happening there. It is a bit uncanny, and once you noticed you cannot unnotice it.
Feels bitter when seeing any swap variants. Especially the Blueberries.
Ink has a soft spot and let him join the Star Sanses. Swap still lives in his own AU, although the stillness gets to him sometimes. Often visits Dream in the Omega timeline and gets invited to the Doodle sphere.
Dream - Got manipulated by the villagers into believing that everyone's well-being and happiness is his responsibility. He does not believe that negativity is bad, that’s the only thing the villagers could not change. There was a lot of guilt tripping and gaslighting.
Was abused but will never acknowledge it, because he never got hit.
Fights against Nightmare bc he thinks he is a falliure of a guardian if he does not protect their happiness.
Loves his brother, but is convinced that Nightmare hates him.
Nightmare - Got bullied by the villagers. Hid his injuries from Dream and never knew what was going in the village, making him feel even more isolated.
Ate the apples as a last resort, turned Dream to stone by accident. Doesn’t fully remember the incident, trying to recall it is like recalling a fading dream.
Loves his brother, but is convinced that Dream hates him.
Killer - First of Nightmare’s recruits. He’s mostly either stage 1 or 2 bc Nightmare is nice in this one. Has his bad days.
Idk much about Killer, but I think he locked his emotions away by himself? Correct me if I’m wrong.
Nightmare and the gang did help him process said emotions.
Sympathizes with Error, both have been forced to kill/destroy.
Dust - Second recruit. Hates killing monsters, but gets a huge amount of intrusive thoughts about it. Sometimes feels an urge because of the LV, it makes him freak out.
Idk a lot about Dust either.
Horror - Third recruit. Only one who spend a lot of time in his own AU. Has no problem talking, but often keeps quiet anyways. More irritable than the others.
Always rations his food when eating, and hides a chunk of it around the castle. Makes sure to bring back enough for Snowdin. Vegiterian and hates the smell of blood and raw meat.
Constantly acts like a squirrel preparing for winter.
Blue - Originates from a genocide timeline. Got kidnapped by Error in a panic, but somehow befriended him. Lives in the Omega timeline but gets visits from Error. Often joins him in the Anti-Void.
Got turned into Blueberror (i prefer the name Blooper alot more, dunno who its from tho) by Fate later on.
Had his destroyer arc, saved by Error and Reaper. Unlike Error, Blue hates destroying.
Luck has taking a liking to him, cats follow him and he finds a lot of pennies. Has a collection of jars with pennies in them.
Any lethal attack will almost always miss him. Shoot a gun at him and it would probably jam.
Fresh - Enjoying himself. Really likes watching all of the chaos unfold, treats it like a drama show. Which it basically is. Everyone has major issues, and he knows almost all of it. Which is more than everyone else.
Befriended Blue after he got turned into an Error, started out as rivalry, turned frenemies, turned friends.
Fresh mostly hangs around Ink or Core otherwise, who are the only ones not fully disturbed by him.
Unlike Error, who is terrified of him.
Even though Fresh will never use him as a host. His little shard of a Soul would not even last a day.
Reaper - Depressed after the loss of Geno. Caused him to isolate himself, but the fact that Error could see the Red Strings intrigued him.
Ended up talking to and befriending Error. Found out he is Geno (sans memories) when Reaper was about to sever the Red Strings.
Doesn’t tell Error, and does not know how to feel about it. Dislikes Fate even more after that. Is at least glad that he got some closure.
