car problem solved.

unfortunately, the interest rate is gross. it was recommended to me to refinance when rates go back down, probably after the election season kicks in.

also it turns out that i was really uncomfortable in anything except what i had before, so i ended up getting another 2016 CR-V. this one is a gray-brown and so far the only difference i've seen is a single button that's not there. i don't even remember what it was. but it's nice. i like it. i told joel about it. he's probably happy that i have a new car.

i'm gonna go to the car yard tomorrow to see illie one last time. (i don't want to call it a junkyard. i dunno why. it just hurts to say it.) i'm gonna see if my phone mount is still there and then take my plates and frames back with me. the trunk stuff cover too.

i miss illie.

i guess i'm just sad.

it feels silly. but i just can't help from crying every time i think about it. i guess it's because she was the first thing i could say she was mine about. and i got her and joel on the same day, which was important to me, too. and what is it now? the 26th of december. the day after christmas. nothing special there.

i gotta say one of my fave things about language is when you add random syllables to words or add nonsense words that rhyme

like for example, our girl cat is called minou but sometimes i'll call her "minoutschi". and then instead of saying "minou, du" i'll say "minoutschi dutschi". and when i'm feeling extra silly or loving i'll add a nonsense word, so i'll sweep her off the ground and pet her and say "minoutschi dutschi wutschi"

or sometimes she'll meow outside in the hallway, then wander in my room and start purring loudly while rolling around the ground (she does that when she gets clingy and really wants affection). and so i'll start petting her and she'll be purring and i'll say "du schnurrli wurli" (schnurrli/schnurli is a very common cat name based on the word "schnurren" which means "to pur". which is why it's my affectionate nickname for her when she's purring lol)

I mostly drew this as a way to vent after the two shitty weeks of college, and my desire to hide away and actually be helped by someone through my depression.

Also Rakepick is just my comfort character so I just draw her every time I'm sad.

And since Sarahi gets the things I don't, she gets a place to hide and a professor to help her.

Other than that, this is also one of those things that my Year 7 plot is about. Rakepick agreeing with the decision of keeping Sarahi in hiding, which was put into play when Sarahi agreed, for at this point she was terrified and injured, and wished to stay away from Hogwarts, Merula and R as a whole.

As for the fire analogy: one, the world is constantly on fire figuratively; two, fire was Sarahi's original boggart; and three, I was reading the story of Prahlada, which includes the legend of Holika and her fire-proof garment.
