#she's a timmy thief

Text
Little Timmy has a new neighbor! She seems nice, but she keeps interrupting him from going out so he can do his Night Photography.
Her name is Jasmine Fenton, and she's always there. Asking him how he feels, asking if he needs anything, offering to help him with his homework; always. There.
Eventually, he sees her as his weird Aunt. Even his parents are so used to her that they'll leave him with her when they go off on their trips. She's weird, but she cares, and he can count on her at any time for any reason.
Time passes, Robin dies, and Batman starts throwing himself in impossible fights and going overboard on petty thieves.
He doesn't realize she's tailing him until he goes down to talk to Batman, in the middle of almost killing a food thief, and Batman, caught up in the haze of the moment, rounds on Tim with his fist raised.
Before Tim can even think to blink, Batman is thrown into a nearby dumpster so hard the dumpster straight up deforms and bends inward.
Above Tim is Jazz, and her eyes are glowing a vibrant, radioactive green.
"Timmy, sweetie, go wait for me at the Churro stand across the street. The adults need to talk."

Could you give more squad headcanons? They're never enough ☺️💓
Riven is the heaviest and will use his weight to bother the others, crushing Timmy, Stella and Bloom is they get too comfy on the sofa.
Stella is always getting little gifts for everyone.
Bloom has managed to get Helia to help her make caricature portraits of everyone. Brandon framed his.
Sky, Musa, Nabu and Timmy are the only ones allowed to lay their heads on Tecna’s lap.
Flora and Riven can finish each other’s sentences/roasts.
Aisha will use her Morphix to mess with the others if they bother her too much. Flora is the only one that’s safe.
The headmasters/Guardians/poor Griselda have given up in trying to keep track of their visits and sleepovers. No one knows where they are but they’re pretty sure they are incapable of spending a whole week in their own dorms/beds.
The boys cuddle just as much as the girls and I will die on that hill.
They will usually sleep in trios if they’re squished into beds, the trios go as such: Tecna, Musa and Helia. Timmy, Bloom and Nabu. Aisha, Riven and Flora. Stella, Brandon and Sky. (The couples try not to sleep in the same bed for the third wheel’s/guardian’s sake. Stella and Brandon don’t care and Sky is used to it so they’re the exception.)
The girls have finally caved in and are now also learning Star Wars fights. The guys have memorized plenty of them and are unstoppable. Not a day goes by Bloom doesn’t regret introducing them to Star Wars. Also, she totally got Riven a Darth Vader helmet or a Darth Vader mug or smth. (Riven and Sky have the Obi-Wan vs Anakin fight in Revenge of the Sith down perfectly.)
If anyone starts singing one of Musa’s songs, the others have to obligatory join in with the worst tones possible to embarrass Musa. Extra points for cringey choreo and trying (and failing) to actually hit the harder notes.
They’re known as menaces in the 2 restaurants they frequent because of the amount of food the boys eat (listen, they train for like six or seven hours a day and their teenagers, you know those boys have endless pits as stomachs).
There is so much shit people have overheard from them that, without context is just… everyone in the three schools are convinced the Winx and their boys either secretly run the world or have only survived thus far due to dumb lock and Mom-friends Flora, Helia and Tecna.
Anytime there’s a campfire they bust out a perfect rendition of the Campfire Song from The Lightning Thief Musical. Riven is Luke, Flora is Annabeth, Bloom is Katie, Timmy is Grover, Nabu is Chiron, Musa is Silena and Helia is Percy, the rest join in on the chorus :).
Aisha, Stella and Bloom have bust out a perfect rendition of Candy Store, so have Timmy, Nabu and Brandon.
There’s a perfect divide of extroverts and introverts in the group: Bloom, Flora, Tecna, Timmy, Riven and Helia are introverts. Stella, Musa, Aisha, Sky, Brandon and Nabu are extroverts.

One headcanon for pretty much every wordgirl villain
Amazing Rope Guy's birthday is April 1st
The reason BLHG has a.. big left hand is because he has the condition Hemihyperplasia (which from what i've seen causes a part of a person's body to be larger than the other. Pls correct me if this is wrong, i am not familiar with the condition)
Brent is multilingual (since Chuck is his half brother, Brent's father spoke spanish, which inspired Brent to learn more languages)
Captain Tangent binge watches pirate movies in his spare time (E.g: Peter Pan, Treasure Island, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc)
Chuck has a video game collection that he's very proud of. It's full of older, retro games, and he also owns all the consoles to go with them.
Glen owns a body pillow, im not specifying of who. That's up for interpretation.
You know how Dr Two Brains is based on the myth that mice like cheese? In reality, mice prefer grains and berries. I'd think it would be funny if in a situation where he was forced to exclusively eat berries and grains, it'd make him ill (similar to how cheese really affects mice).
Eileen's last name is 'Rucker,' which is a German last name meaning 'thief' or 'Greedy'
Maria and Eileen are the absolute bestest of friends, with Eileen treating Maria like a little pet.
Granny May used to do ballet when she was younger, which gave her some of the agility she now has.
I couldn't think of a headcanon for Guy Rich specifically, but his brother's name is Duke.
Hal and Granny May went to the same school when they were young. They do not like each other at all.
Invisi-bill is simultaneously the worst and the best at playing Hide and Seek. He can just go invisible to hide, but is usually way too fidgety to stay in one spot permanently.
Lady Redundant Woman is a heavy sleeper. She also snores really loudly
Leslie is actually a mixed martial artist, but generally prefers Karate
Miss Power is fully capable of blinking, but is also capable of licking her eyeballs just to freak people out. She thinks its funny
Mr Big is really fond of 80s music because it reminds him of his band
Ms Question didn't realize this immediately about her powers, but she can produce electricity. If you touch her bare skin, she can accidentally shock both you and her. She can also stick magnets to herself.
Nocan.... ok im gonna be completely honest, i can't think of anything for this guy.
Reason and Rhyme have a secret handshake. Rhyme is the one who made it, and Reason messes it up everytime they try to do it
Royal Dandy calls Dave dad :) (but in a british way so probably something stupid(/j) like papa)
Seymour is insanely good at poker. He's perfectly capable of playing any version of it, but he's also really good at cheating at it. He hides cards in his sleeve and in his shirt and then swaps them out for whatever hand he has.
While it's not obvious, the Butcher likes jewelry. He doesn't wear it much, but you'll always find a ring or two and earrings in his house. (Reginald x Butcher shippers, do with this as you will)
The Coach was actually a highly successful man before trying to trick the Whammer. Most people don't realize that he went to really prestigious schools when he was younger.
The Learnerer's real name is Alfred, in reference to his voice actor
The Whammer was an actual pro-wrestler at one point, but was forced to stop because 'whams' aren't a legal move in the wrestling world.
Timmy Tim-Bo is the Coach's nephew
Tobey will play little puzzle games when not building robots (Crossword, Sudoku, etc)
Victoria Best tries to sneak into the villain convention, but usually gets caught pretty quickly.

My Love, My Life
Tumblr media
it’s been about a year since i deleted the tim blog (if any of you remember that) and sometimes i miss the little fandom that got me through a pandemic and an awful time in my personal life, but just as i was starting to regress haha my girl informs me that she saved one fic before i deleted the blog, so, here it is, reposted.
i doubt i’ll ever write about him again but i do think some instance of tim should stay up on tumblr. i’m very proud of the weird little guy we made and so here he is again as a reminder of good times and good friends.
//
It hadn’t stopped raining all day. It was there before he first opened his eyes that morning. It was there on his walk to work. It was there when he locked himself away in his office, during the weekly meeting, while he was trying to work. It even followed him home.
Now, it was dark outside and water still struck the windows of his little apartment. Tim watched it reproachfully. Rain was supposed to bring life, to wash away all that had gone before. To him, it was just unsettling, cruel and cold.
He usually felt safe here, in the little home he’d built for himself. He could usually just curl up under a blanket and block out the noise as he waited for sleep to claim him. But this was different.
Tim had spent all day trying to figure out why, why the cold anxiety in his chest felt even worse than usual, why it felt like there was a rope tied around his middle, pulling tighter and tighter as the day wore on.
It wasn’t until he passed the kitchen door that he noticed the date on the calendar, hanging crooked by the phone. It must have been sitting in the back of his subconscious all day.
Tim stood in his empty kitchen, watching rivulets stream down the window pane out of the corner of his eye.
He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to fix this. He didn’t know how he could make himself feel better. He glanced at the clock. Well, there was one thing he could try.
Lex picked up after five rings. Tim almost hung up, fearing that she wasn’t home, but just as he moved the phone away from his ear, he heard it click.
“Hey, Tim.”
“Lex-”
“Did Ellie leave her book bag at your place? She can’t find it anywhere.”
Tim squeezed his eyes shut as thunder rumbled cross the sky.
“No, I don’t think so. I’ll check.”
“She had such a good time last weekend. She keeps telling her friends that her uncle is Indiana Jones.”
That made Tim smile, his first reprieve from the noise in his head all day.
“He’s an archeologist.”
Lex sighed.
“She’s seven, Tim.”
“And a thief. Indiana Jones, I mean. Not Ellie.”
“Did you call just to rag on Indiana Jones?”
“I just don’t think he’s a good representative f-”
“Timmy.”
The nickname stopped him in his tracks. No one ever called him that, not since he was a kid. Only Lex was allowed and only in special circumstances, when she was teasing him or when she thought he was talking too much. It was her gentle way of bringing him back to the present. But the present is exactly where he didn’t want to be.
“Do you know what today is?”
She laughed softly.
“Uh, Tuesday?”
“Lex.”
“June 11th, Tim. Why? What does-”
She broke off so abruptly, he thought for a moment they’d been disconnected.
When Lex spoke again, her voice was low and quiet.
“Oh.”
Tim pressed his knuckles into his forehead, hard. He leaned back against the wall, teeth gritted so tight that his jaw ached.
He was an idiot. He was a stupid, spiteful idiot. Just because he was overwhelmed by the memories, that didn’t mean Lex was too. She was happy. She had moved on. He’d ruined everything.
“Sorry, I’m sorry,” Tim turned and pressed his head against the wall, trying to keep his breaths even. “I shouldn’t have said anything.”
“No, no, it’s okay, Tim.”
“No, you’d forgotten and I made you remember. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have called.”
“I’m glad you did. And I hadn’t forgotten. I don’t think I c-” Lex went quiet for a moment, then she asked, “Do you want to come over? We’re just about to have dinner, I could save you some?”
Tim shook his head, even though he desperately wanted to accept.
“No, no, it’s okay.”
“Are you sure? It won’t be a problem, we can just-”
“Lex, it’s fine. Thanks.” Tim forced a smile, even if there was no one around to see it. “I just wanted to make sure you were alright.”
“Well, okay. If you’re sure.”
Lex didn’t sound convinced. He wasn’t surprised. She could always tell when he was lying, even when they were little. She could read him like a book. But she knew better than to push, especially on a day like today.
“Ellie would love to see you.”
The thought of his niece made Tim smile again.
“Maybe tomorrow.”
“Love you.”
“Love you too.”
He didn’t wait to hear her hang up. Tim put down the phone, keeping his hand pressed against the receiver as he tried decide what to do.
His head was so loud. Memories of the park, of his grandfather, the rain and the mud, swarmed like bees. More thunder rolled outside but all he could see was the flash of jagged teeth, burning yellow eyes, and his sister’s screams.
Tim passed Angela on his way to the door. She watched him grab his jacket, tail waving uneasily back and forth. She gently called out to him as he walked past again, arching her back towards him hopefully, but Tim only scratched her head.
The sound of the front door slamming shut behind him echoed through the apartment.
/
You were just settling a pot of water on the stove when you heard the loud knock at the door. You frowned, glancing up at the clock on the wall. It was almost ten, who on earth could be hammering on your door at this time?
You turned down the hob till just a tiny flame remained then pulled your old cardigan tighter around your body as you moved through your apartment to the front door.
Heart pounding, you peered through the spy-hole and gasped when you saw who was there. You moved back and wrenched open the door.
“Tim?”
He was dripping wet, rainwater slid down his face and off the ends of his hair. Tim’s shirt was two shades darker than it should have been and he’d left a small puddle on your doorstep. His shoes squeaked slightly as he stepped closer.
“Can I come in?”
You stared, too shocked to move. When you regained your senses, you moved to the side, gently pulling Tim inside.
The warmth of your apartment was almost painful. His skin smarted as you guided him into your living room, leaving a small trail of rainwater in his wake.
“I’m sorry,” Tim’s voice was hoarse, his throat raw. “I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t have- You’re probably busy.”
“Shut up, of course I’m not. I’m never busy.” You squeezed his elbow, grimacing when water seeped onto your hand. “God, you’re soaked. Lemme take your jacket.”
He let you undress him, his eyes unseeing as you carefully guided his arms out of his thin outer layer. You threw it over the radiator, leaving it to dry as you went back to help him out of his shirt.
“Were you working late again?”
“No, I- I was at home and then I realised what day it is and I couldn’t- I didn’t feel- I had to get out of there,” Tim’s gaze flicked between you and the floor, his voice shaking. “And I was just walking around and I realised I was near your place and I had- I just had to see you. I-”
Your voice was gentle as you carefully began to unbutton the front of his shirt.
“Why were you walking around in the rain?”
“I…”
You paused, glancing up at him to make sure it was alright for you to keep going. When Tim nodded, his gaze fixed on you now, you moved onto the next button, carefully working your way down until you could push his shirt off his broad shoulders to reveal the plain white shirt you knew he would be wearing underneath.
“It’s been twenty-six years. Today. Twenty-six years today.”
Tim shuddered as you stepped closer, hoping you’d think it was just because of the cold and not the effect you had on him. It was the most he’d been touched in… Well, he couldn’t remember how long. It was enough to make his stomach lurch as your hands brushed his bare skin.
“Twenty-six years and I still can’t hear the damn rain without feeling like I’m gonna be sick.”
Your stomach twisted. You knew all about the incident. Tim had spoken about it only once or twice in all the time that you’d known each other, but you’d seen his scars, you knew the story, you knew how the fear he felt as a child still had its claws in him, even now.
“Tim-”
He looked down at the floor. He’d left patches of water on your carpet but you didn’t seem to care. His face felt hot, his eyes scratching. Soon, warm tears sliced through the cold water on his cheeks.
“It’s pathetic,” He spat out the words, angry and frightened and sad all at once. “Why can’t I- Why can’t I just get over it? I’m not a kid anymore, I shouldn’t be so scared all the time. I hate it.”
“It’s not pathetic,” you murmured.
There was a pause, just a beat, and then you moved closer.
Tim had half expected you to keep him at arm’s length, just like his parents, just like everyone he’d ever known, but you pulled him into a tight hug. He was soaked through and freezing, but you held him close against you, so close that he could feel your heart beating.
Then you were speaking to him, speaking to him in a voice so soft but so firm, a spark in your eyes, as you held his face between your hands.
“You went through something that no one else can understand. There’s no… Time limit for recovery.”
Your warm hands stung his skin but Tim leaned into them, wanting more, more of your warmth, more of you.
“I just… I wish I could…”
He rested his hands over yours, his long fingers completely covering your own, pressing them tighter against his cheeks.
“I know.”
Your thumb brushed away a stray tear. The thunder still growled outside but neither of you noticed it now.
“I know.”
Tim closed his eyes, taking in a few deep breaths.
He knew if he saw you, he would feel better. There was just something about you, this burning, golden light. It surrounded you, glowing stronger when you looked at him. He could feel it like sunlight on his skin. He couldn’t help but become addicted to the way you smiled at him, the shimmer of your voice, the warmth of your touch.
He could very easily stay like this forever, but he’d interrupted your evening, stormed in here jabbering about his problems, probably frightening you half to death at this late hour.
“Sorry,” he whispered, gently moving your hands away from his face. “I’m sorry, I should go.”
But your hands found his shoulders before he could go anywhere.
“Stay,” your murmured.
It was the most beautiful word he’d ever heard. Tim felt a shiver seep over his skin as your hands slipped down his arms, then around to his back.
“I shouldn’t have barged in like that-”
“Stay,” you said again, firm but gentle.
Tim gazed down at you. He wondered what on earth he had done to deserve you, he wondered how you always knew just what to say. He wondered if this is what love felt like, real love. He wondered if you knew that you felt like home to him, but like no home he’d ever known. He wondered.
“Have you eaten?”
Tim blinked, still dazed by your gentle touches.
“What?”
“Dinner. Have you had any?”
When he shook his head, you smiled and took his hand, guiding him to the sofa.
You left him for a moment to check that the pot on the stove hadn’t boiled over, then disappeared into the bathroom.
When you returned, you had a towel in your hands. You walked around to sit beside him on the sofa, shifting closer until your knee pressed against his thigh.
Instead of just leaving him to it, you began to towel his hair dry for him, moving the soft material around so carefully that Tim almost burst into tears. No one had ever been so gentle with him. You hummed to yourself as you worked, an unfamiliar tune but lovely all the same.
It was such a comforting feeling; he’d never really been looked after before. Tim had to hold in a soft moan as your fingers worked deep into his hair, moving from the roots all the way to the tips until it was no longer damp and he felt a lot warmer.
“Do you want the TV on? Music?”
Tim immediately missed your gentle touches when you stood up, his heart aching. But then you tugged a blanket from the back of the sofa and lifted it up high above his head so that it fell behind him, settling on his back. You pulled the corners around his shoulders, pushing them gently into his hands.
“Music would be nice.”
You left him on the sofa again, turning to run your fingertip along the spines of your CD collection. When you found the one you were looking for, you pulled it from the ranks with one finger, prised open the case and slipped it into the player.
Tim pulled in a long breath, and at last the tension in the pit of his stomach eased. He drew in another breath and another until he no longer felt that fearful ache. Then familiar music encircled his head with the same warmth as the blanket still wrapped around his shoulders.
‘I’ve seen it on your face, tells me more than any worn-out old phrase. So, now we’ll go separate ways. Never again we two, never again, nothing I can do…’
“I love this song.”
You smiled, laughing softly as you slipped the CD back onto the shelf.
“I know you do.”
And there it was. The terrifying, wonderful, strange truth of it all. You knew him. You knew.
You told him you were just going to start dinner but he could stay there, if he liked, in the warm. Tim agreed at first, happy to just do as he was told. But as the soft music soared around your apartment, he felt courage guide his body.
Soon he was in the kitchen with you, gently wrapping an arm around you waist.
Surprised, you turned away from the pasta boiling on the stove, and let out a relieved sigh as he pulled you against his chest. It felt so good to hold him, so good to be held by him, to have Tim’s hands on your back, his chest against yours.
“Thank you,” he murmured, turning and pressing a soft kiss to your temple.
It was just a quick, chaste thing, but it made your heart pound. You were worried he’d be able to feel it as he pressed closer against you.
“I didn’t do anything.”
“You did. Trust me.”
Tim moved away but not far, his gaze drifting between your eyes and your mouth. Thunder boomed outside but he didn’t even flinch.
He bent his head forward, his hands warm even through all your clothes.
“Thank you,” he murmured again, letting his forehead bump gently against yours.
Your breath shuddered as your eyes closed, and you bit your lip, embarrassed. Your heart seemed to be pushing against your ribs, pushing you forward against him, guiding your hands as they rose to press against his chest. You could feel his heart hammering under your palm.
“Can I..?”
He was so close now that his breath brushed your lips.
“Would it be alright if I..?”
You smiled.
“Yes.”
First his nose brushed yours, his hands smoothing down your sides to rest on your hips, then his lips just grazed your own. It was so gentle, you hardly felt it, but it was enough to set your heart racing.
You wanted more than anything to pull him tighter against you, but you waited patiently for him to move again. You would wait forever if he needed you to.
But then Tim’s hands pressed in, pulling you tighter against him, and your breath caught, lips parting as his mouth moved against yours, slowly, tentatively, but so, so, lovingly.
Tim found himself forgetting every worry that curled around his heart, every doubt he’d ever had about himself. All that mattered was you, just you and him, kissing in your kitchen on a stormy night.
You were disappointed when he eventually pulled away but he didn’t go far. You felt the tip of his nose brush past your cheek, then his forehead was pressed against yours again.
“You wouldn’t believe how long I’ve wanted to do that.”
He was warm, inviting. You didn’t want to let go. You were so stunned, you couldn’t even bring yourself to open your eyes, and when you finally managed to speak, your voice was small and breathless.
“Probably about as long as I have.”
You were so close that you were murmuring into each other’s mouths.
Tim let go of your hips with one hand, gently holding your face instead. His hands were rough and calloused, you could feel the raised lines of his scars against your skin. All you could think about was how they would feel running down your body, but that was another thought for another time.
Tim smiled to himself as you leaned into his hand, just as he had done to you.
“I came here because you’re the only thing that distracts me, from the rain, from all of it.”
You opened your eyes at last. In the low light, his gaze was warm and soft.
“I think that’s a compliment?”
Laughing softly, he moved closer still, and now Tim could feel every curve of your body against his. He felt a shiver run over his skin.
“It is, promise.”
There was a pause, just a moment, and all you could do was look at each other. Then your hands slipped up to his shoulders, pulling him back to you and you pressed your lips against his, much harder and more desperate than before, pulling at his bottom lip with your teeth, earning yourself a groan.
With a delighted laugh, you slipped your hand into his hair, pulling softly. You felt Tim practically melt against you, and you knew that he knew that you loved him, that he was safe, that everything was going to be alright, that you had him.
Tim groaned as your tongue pressed against his, moaning your own name into your mouth. His voice was so soft, almost like he was praying. He spoke your name pleadingly, quietly, kissing you so desperately that your whole body curved into his.
His hands were everywhere, excited and eager, on your back, pressing under the hem of your shirt, making you break the kiss with a gasp.
Tim took the opportunity and tried to catch his breath for a moment, his forehead pressed against yours again. He pulled in a shaky breath, hoping to settle his nerves but it had little effect.
Instead, he laughed, breathless and hopelessly happy as you pressed kisses all over his face, letting him know that you wanted him, loved him, needed him, whilst the storm raged on outside.
Instead, he just laughed, breathless and hopelessly happy as you pressed kisses all over his face, letting him know that you wanted him, loved him, needed him, whilst the storm raged on outside.

BACKSTORY UPDATES
Tumblr media
for those who haven't noticed, i finally got an update done to cat's backstory that i've wanted to for years, but just couldn't quite figure out the story i wanted to tell. is what i've come up with final? possibly not, but i love it much more than the original idea... juvie was the last part of cat's story that literally hadn't been updated since i made her nine years ago. it was so. out there in her story. this post is going to be my best to summarize the changes, but if you've never invested time into reading cat's backstory, i'd appreciate it tons! here in the link for the lazies.
the lead up ( relatively unchanged ):
tinder, margie, and flint still help cat locate her aunt and uncle when they happen to be in the same area, and tinder helps cat find them.
the main difference is cat is now fifteen instead of fourteen.
cat, in her overcoming swell of emotion, proceeds to attack them... mary is protected because she holds timmy, but robert takes an absolute beating with one of her throwing knives.
he does not die, but it definitely doesn't look good when police arrive.
juvie ( updated with some minor non-changes ):
cat isn't charged for most of her crimes. due to the functioning of the ring, and the way she talks about being used and abused by them... she is never pinned for anything relating to murder or drugs or the like. thus, her charges consist of stealing, mostly, with the attempted murder on her uncle. this serious situation is what lands her in juvie.
cat still arrives in tears, she still is battling the absolute panic and anxiety that is building. this change in environment, this struggle... it causes her to remain uncombative. so she lets the others bully her relentlessly.
mary does not come to visit her.
cat is still pushed into sessions with margaret where she remains largely quiet for some time. it would take three months to get anything out of cat.
during those three months, cat remained apathetic in regards to those around her. the only person she befriended was vinnie. if one can call it a friendship. vinnie liked to chat and demean... cat listened. and much of what he would often say was degrading towards her. he would laugh about her and anything he found out, making her feel useless, unwanted, and even more isolated.
because of this, cat would still make a few attempts at suicide, but it was one of the guards, louie, who found her and stopped her each time. cat eventually gave up after only around three tries, never getting far enough to do lasting damage. too many cameras, security, eyes...
due to these attempts and the bullying, margaret actually appealed to get cat transferred to a different facility. as she fought to get this, cat finally leaked information about amy and jon, enough for margaret to get a hold of them.
amy and jon did come to visit, but cat basically ignored them and spurned the visit.
her emotions came to a head from this confrontation, and when rissa next attempted to bully her, cat finally fought back. and she fought back hard, even causing a few broken bones on the other.
rissa, who had thought cat was just some weak thief, was actually impressed by this and her bullying would actually turn to advances and interest, which in turn only made cat retaliate more.
cat's shift to violence led to the facility finally agreeing with margaret's transfer.
the "escape":
turns out cat hadn't escaped copper... no one left the ring willingly while he had the power.
he, crackshot, and birdie caused the van cat was being transferred in to crash. they killed the driver and guard with her, then they broke her out of the back and took off her handcuffs. copper gave her the chance to come back or die.
cat spat on him.
as copper was going to shoot her, the police did manage to arrive timely. he was forced instead to focus on them, giving her time to slip away, grabbing what things she had left in the van before taking off.
crackshot and birdie tailed her. but cat managed to escape into a river where crackshot fired his weapon. she didn't seem to surface so they returned to copper and pronounced her dead.
cat washed up downstream, barely having survived.
this all takes place within her fifteenth year. she turns sixteen not long after the escape, just before hackett.
the only other major change:
the only other thing is in cat's verse with scott ( homeward bound ), she does finally get to finish off copper when he, crackshot, and birdie basically launch an attack on her, amy, jon, scott, and his other family. she's forced to kill him to defend them while crackshot is arrested and birdie chased off.

UU: oh my! yoU have qUite the combination.
UU: the mage is the active knower; they know of themselves. mind is logic and knowledge and problem solving and lore. to be a mage of mind is to know yoUr own mind very well, or to know the minds of those close to yoU very well. it coUld also mean seeking knowledge of the mind for yoUrself, or seeking langUage knowledge or lore.
UU: yoUr powers might include an enhanced memory, or extreme cleverness! The ability to oUtwit yoUr enemies is very UsefUl in combat, and very Underrated.
UU: yoUr land might also inclUde extensive lore, making it a fascinating place to stUdy. yoU woUld gain insight in how to read people. thoUgh yoU might not be as sUited to picking oUt lies as a seer of mind, yoU woUld have the ability to teach others key parts of the game, and perhaps discover yoUr calling as a strategist, leading people to victory.
UU: sometimes, a part of the mage’s philosophy may be written: “i gUide others to a treasUre i cannot possess”. this may mean that when yoU are oUtside of yoUr area of expertise, yoU woUld still be able to help people figure out an intelligent solution. if yoU are not the geniUs discovering everything, yoU might be a teacher or librarian, knowing how to improve the knowledge of others. remember, the mage of doom coUld not die, but he knew death incredibly well! this may be paradoxical, bUt at times when yoU cannot think of a logical solUtion, yoU may be highly adept at helping someone else in their own situation.

Let's kidnap the Waynes, and Jay Text <3
Let's Kidnap the Waynes:
One man grabs the girl by the waist, and she screams. The sleeping boy opens his eyes just as Joe crouches down to get him. A few sleepy blinks, and then he smiles, sharp and bright and manic. A leg sweeps out, effortless, and Joe finds himself on the floor, uncomfortably reminded of the Joker, that one night they worked together before Joe decided some things were above his pay grade. A gun goes off.
Glancing around proves to be a fascinating mistake. Three of his men are on the floor, unconscious, two of them bleeding profusely. The girl sits on his fourth man’s shoulders, bringing him down with a strange twist. The fifth man is nowhere to be seen.
The larger boy has a gun in one hand, a phone in the other, dialing without looking down at the keys. “Tim,” he says, “you wanna grab the runner?”
Tim gets up off the couch and jogs out of the room, and the girl drops into his spot.
“Commissioner,” the boy says into the phone. “Yeah, I know. Attempted kidnapping, I think. We’re gonna need two, maybe three squad cars?”
A slight pause, and he sighs. “I know. You told me last time. But Bruce won’t let me get a gun license!”
A much longer pause. He rolls his eyes.
“He’ll pay the fine. Come on, you know you can’t give me community service. I’m not stable enough. Like, mentally or whatever. And I’m already in court-mandated therapy. What you gonna do, Jim?”
A heavy thud upstairs.
“Cass, go help Timmy with the body.”
He turns back to the phone. “Yeah, no, I get it. We’ll just—hang on.  I think this goon is conscious.”
The last thing Joe sees in Wayne Manor is a boot approaching his head.
Jay Text (I'm just gonna post the entire thing; it's short):
DickieBird: Some kid stole Bruce’s tires
BarbieGirl: I’m in class, D.
DickieBird: his nighttime tires
BarbieGirl: And suddenly accounting seems unimportant.
DickieBird: His name is jason and i love him. I think we’re gonna keep him.
BarbieGirl: We? Thought you weren’t speaking to Bruce.
DickieBird: Alfred called. I came. Great kid. New brother.
BarbieGirl: you and B are both ridiculous. You cant just keep a random tire thief.
DickieBird: he’s from crime alley. Dad in prison whole life. Mom died 2 years ago. On streets since then. 12. Desperate enough to jack B’s tires.
BarbieGirl: …fine.
DickieBird: Come meet him.
BarbieGirl: Still in class, dick.
DickieBird: Later, I’ll pick you up
BarbieGirl: Is my name still Barbie in your phone?
DickieBird: …maybe?
BarbieGirl: Change it and you can pick me up at 6.

Famous Five Art Nostalgia #21 – Part 4
Introductory post
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Five Are Together Again – Le Club des Cinq en embuscade
Original publication date: 1963 (UK), 1967 (France)
Tumblr media
(Cover art by Jean Sidobre, Vermeille collection, 1974)
Plot summary (adapted from Wikipedia):
The children are supposed to be staying at Kirrin Cottage, but as soon as George's parents' maid Joanna catches scarlet fever, the Five are sent to live with an old friend, called Tinker, and his famous scientist father, Professor Hayling, who first appeared two volumes ago in Five Go to Demon's Rocks.
Tumblr media
(Worried that Timmy did not escape Kirrin Cottage to greet George at the train station, she takes a taxi to get there quicker while Julian, Dick and Anne walk at a more leisurely pace)
Tumblr media
(George is relieved to see Timmy safe and sound, but worried about her parents being in quarantine)
Tumblr media
(George talks to her mum from the garden as they make accommodation plans)
Tumblr media
(Mischief is delighted to be reunited with his doggo bestie!)
Tumblr media
(Excited buddies!)
Due to Professor Hayling’s low tolerance for rowdiness, Jenny the housemaid suggests for the children to camp in a field behind the house. When the children get there, they see that several caravans from a travelling circus have started to settle in. Tinker gets very angry but it turns out that the circus has permission to use this field. The kids pitch their tents in a corner of the field some way from the caravans.
Tumblr media
(Tinker performs household chores in his customary manner: rowdily and expeditiously)
Tumblr media
(Tinker strides to the unwelcome, uninvited guests)
Tumblr media
(Mr Tapper [M. Barbarino], the circus’s manager, is unimpressed with Tinker’s complaints)
Tumblr media
(Professor Hayling has a small mishap with the children’s luggage)
Tumblr media
(Chatting in the garden)
The children get to see the circus folks’ rehearsing, then have supper with them. Tinker runs his mouth and blabs about his father’s secret work, which is kept in a tower next to the house.
Tumblr media
(The children admire the circus’s horses, which are led by Jeremy [Gino], Mr Tapper’s grandson)
Tumblr media
(Charlie the chimp is a great help with carrying the children’s camping equipment!)
Tumblr media
(He’s also great at playing tennis [cricket in the original English version])
Tumblr media
(Anne is amazed at the tap-dancing donkey (not realising that the donkey is actually two performers in a costume))
Tumblr media
(Sharing dinner with the circus folk)
Tumblr media
(Mr Wooh [M. Karkos], the math wizard, wows the children with his calculating prowesses)
During the night, Jenny gets a scare when she sees a silhouette climbing up Professor Hayling’s tower, which seems crazy because the tower is vertical with no handholds or possible way to climb.
Tumblr media
(An acrobatic thief!)
But there was indeed someone, and Professor Hayling discovers in the morning that several secret papers have been stolen. The Five decide to investigate around the circus, and they also make plans to hide the professor's remaining precious papers on Kirrin Island, Professor Hayling being too forgetful to find a good hiding place for the papers himself.
Tumblr media
(Jenny and Tinker are at a loss figuring out the theft)
Tumblr media
(Tinker is worried about the safety of his father’s remaining papers)
Tumblr media
(Making plans)
Tumblr media
(Julian agrees with Tinker’s idea about drawing fake schematics to confuse the thieves)
Tumblr media
(Tinker punches Jeremy for hitting Dick and George with a stick after both of them ‘borrowed’ – without asking permission – the donkey-skin to try it on)
Tumblr media
(Fun at the beach – Mischief wisely prefers to stay on dry land!)
At night, George takes her boat to Kirrin Island to hide the remaining papers. But while still on the shore, she sees a light shining on the island, and suspects that the thieves are lying in wait to get hold of the papers. So she decides to hide the papers on shore before rowing to the island.
Tumblr media
(Nightly trip to the island)
George does find two men on the island, one of them Mr Wooh – one of the circus’ performers and Charlie’s owner – and the other a crook who asked Mr Wooh to steal the papers for him. George escapes, unmoors their boat and strands them on the island.
(George is quite happy with her victory)
The children call the police in the morning, and Tinker figures out that Charlie the chimp was the mysterious climber who stole things in the tower at Mr Wooh’s behest.

Riven long ver 1
(some stuff is from the fan wiki i just tweaked)
Name: Riven Liam Arthur
Looks: Aesthetics only gym bro (so he strong but not stronger than Helia for example) . His skin is rosy with a slight tan, and his eyes are narrow and indigo-colored. He has short red-violet hair that is spiked back with only two bangs framing his face.
Relationships: Soulmate is Musa (after a shit ton of work to deserve her ofc) he is the closest to Nabu, has a rivalry with Sky
Personality: He is very insecure on the inside coz he thinks he needs to be better than everyone or else he is nothing. he is also thin-skinned and sensitive to what people thought about him. As a result, he is easily affected when people laughs at or humiliates him. Riven's insecurities caused him to doubt the authenticity of those around him and question who his true friends were.
But on the outside, Egotistic. Riven is the impulsive, competitive, realistic and goal-oriented member of the Specialists. He can be rather hot-headed, experiencing moments of envy and blind aggression; but he is also protective and caring (mostly towards musa or his parents but only when they arent looking). This compassion is not solely limited to his love interests, as he was extremely unwilling to leave Griffin and her students behind while they were imprisoned in their school's dungeon during the Trix's ongoing invasion. Riven has trouble expressing his emotions in a suitable manner, even when he is not putting up a cold front. He is a bit of a lone wolf. arrogant and mean-spirited, which often puts him at odds with everyone.
Despite his initially unfriendly attitude, Riven is shown to have a conscience early on, though it is often overshadowed by his many shortcomings. He can also be reflective when not blinded by his anger. Riven expresses that there are many things he dislikes about himself, but denies the notion that he is a monster, claiming that even he "has a heart". He goes on to prove this statement through his gradual development as a character. Riven displays an even more vulnerable side when he went off to mourn and cry for Nabu when he died.
As time goes on, he still struggles to express his emotions, he is noticeably friendlier and more cooperative. he becomes more compassionate and relaxed, no longer taking his friends' jokes too seriously (even making some himself). He smiles a lot more and doesn’t mind engaging in some goofy behavior. In spite of this, Riven remains a straightforward and blunt person. He is very realistic and vocal. he listens to Timmy when he says he can still sense Tecna's magical vibe (indicating she is alive) and quietly comforts him.
History: his family are all uber successful and he is praised for his intensity at home coz he and his brothers r all rlly competitive. He was pretty privileged as a child so he never knew any hard times, and thus he sees “struggling” as a weakness that people need to overpower. His parents spoiled him for sure. After season 3 Musa breaks up with him after the events of the movie since he was so easily used as a spy again. He acts like it doesn't bother him and dates around but he actually really misses her. In season 4 they get back together in the middle after Riven proves that he has changed/is trying to change for the better.
Weapon: a scimitar-styled purple phantoblade and a bolas, sometimes he also uses a dagger boomerang. He is also very good at dragon wrangling and is a very skilled thief and lock picker. all his wepons are purple in colour, like the gem on his uniform

The Strike
Getting blindsided by Mr. Matchmaker was not Bruce’s idea of a fun Saturday night. Though if he had a therapist, she’d probably tell him fighting crime did not qualify as healthy ‘fun.’
He was happy with the way things were. Once a month Clark would drag Bruce out to Metropolis for some ‘Much needed socializing.’ According to Mr. Matchmaker, a gala didn’t count as ‘Socializing.’ It was networking. Bowling should have been Bruce’s first red flag. You needed at least five or more people for a successful bowling game. The usual suspects didn’t cut it.
“Are you sure we’re in the right place?” Dick asked eying the interior of Cowtown Bowling Alley critically.
Cowtown Bowling Alley was located in Hamilton County, a small farming town 300 miles North of Metropolis. It felt like he was back in Kansas, minus all the homey charm. He supposed Clark liked it here because it reminded him of home.
Tables were strategically placed apart in a way that gave the illusion of roominess. The Cowtown Bowling Alley could fit snuggly inside the Kent farm with spare room remaining. Once upon a time, the tables might have been a brilliant shade of blue, but they were so dirty they looked brown. The place reeked of greasy food and a hint of manure. Bruce recoiled from the smell. He sure hoped this was the wrong place. In all his twenty-five years of life, he had never been in a more dinky bowling alley, if you could call it that. There were only eight lanes, each occupied by hillbillies. There even was a cowboy in the furthest lane trying to teach a goth girl how to line dance.
The petite girl hooked her arm through the cowboy’s arm, laughing as she tripped over his feet. The cowboy caught her before she fell, twirled her around, and then spontaneously kissed her.
“Watch it punk!” the girl punched him in the face, knocking his glasses off. “Just because I got all dolled up for you, does not mean you get to lay one on me, Rodeoman.”
“I thought that’s what. . . sorry Leslie.”
The cowboy dove down to retrieve his glasses and it dawned on Bruce that the cowboy was no other than his dorky friend. He should have known Clark would come clad in full cowboy regalia. He fumbled around on the floor looking blindly for his horn-rimmed glasses. Bruce rolled his eyes. It was going to be a long night. He crouched next to Clark, and plucked the glasses off the floor, shoving them back on the Kryptonian’s red face.
“Bruce, you made it!” Clark’s eyes lit up with giddy joy. He surged forward and enveloped Bruce in a rib-crushing hug. “Everybody this is Bruce!” Clark announced to the gang, sounding drunk on happiness.
Bruce’s stomach twisted into knots when he saw the clutter of people seated around the lane. A gawky redhead wearing suspenders balanced on the armrest of the bench. Bruce vaguely recognized Jack Olsen, the thief turned photographer, who was always glued to Clark’s side. He made Bruce nervous. Jack’s track record wasn’t exactly clean. He used to make a living selling stolen goods on the black market before meeting a certain optimistic alien. It was only a matter of time before Jack snapped the wrong photo and put two and two together. Clark needed to be more careful who he allowed to get close to him.
A stunning Italian woman sat next to Jack, primly sipping a margarita. He almost didn’t recognize Zatanna without makeup. She had traded her usual fishnet stockings for a pair of sensible black leggings and a concert T-shirt. The younger Olsen brother sat on Zatanna’s lap, showing off his new Nintendo DS— the kid’s name escaped him at the moment. Sammy or Timmy? Something that ended with a ‘y.’ All Bruce knew about the kid was that Clark spoiled him rotten and wished he were his brother.
A young man, probably around Clark’s age, sat at the opposite bench scarfing down nachos as fast as the Flash. Bruce frowned at the blonde. There was something familiar about his movements. According to the badge clipped over his pocket, his name was Barry Allen. The angry, goth chick, AKA, Leslie Willis, Clark’s latest blunder, sat next to Barry. She eyed Bruce like a slab of juicy steak that was bad for her cholesterol. Bruce didn’t usually hate women, but Leslie did not deserve Clark. Nobody punched Clark except for Batman. And he certainly did not approve of her wondering eyes. This wasn’t the first time she made a pass at Bruce Wayne. Of course, Mr. X-ray-Vision was blind to his girlfriend’s harsher nature.
“And me!” Dick pouted.
Clark ruffled the kid’s locks affectionately. “Of course Dick, how can I forget you?” he smiled. “There’s actually someone I want you to meet.” Clark steered Dick toward the younger Olsen brother. “Jimmy, this is Dick Grayson, he’s around your age.”
“Dick?” Leslie asked. “What, your parents took one look at you and thought, ‘That dick is going places.’”
Barry spit out a nacho, choking on his laughter.
“Leslie,” Clark warned. “There are children present.”
“And?” She raised an eyebrow at him. “You expect me to dumb things down for the little humans?”
“For the last time,” Jimmy jumped off Zatanna’s lap causing Zee to spill her drink. “I’m not little. I’m a decade old,” he said importantly.
“You’re fun size,” Jack ruffled his brother’s hair, much in the same way Clark mussed up Dick’s hair earlier.
“Jack, come on,” Clark wrapped an arm around Jack’s shoulders. “Help me set up the game.”
“But it’s a one-person job!” Jack protested. “You just type the names in. It’s not rocket science.” Clark looked between Zatanna and Bruce meaningfully and then back to Jack. “You sir, are playing a very dangerous game,” Jack wagged a finger at Clark and followed him to the bowling console.
Curse Clark and his rom-com-obsessed heart. He was certain Clark was under the impression, that Zee would spill a drink in his lap, they’d bump heads, exchange some awkward, predictable dialogue, and then be smitten with each other. Real life was a bit more complicated than that. Bruce dutifully sat down next to Zatanna, who couldn’t seem to stop smiling in amusement. She wasn’t dumb either. She saw what Clark was trying to do.
“Hello, beloved,” she teased, mimicking Talia expertly.
He was starting to regret confiding in Zee at all about his complicated ‘love’ life. Exchanging deadly blows and diffusing bombs hardly could be classified as ‘love.’
“You look purr-fect tonight,” she purred softly into his ear, her breath smelling fruity and minty.
Zatanna was a very stunning woman. She was built like a professional swimmer, her body muscular and fluid. Her long, inky hair smelled of lingering sweet incense. She had a diamond-shaped face that was more attractive than beautiful, her features sharp and alert. He was not totally blind to her charms. In another life where he never studied under her father and she wasn’t the younger sister he always wanted, they might have been a possibility. At twenty-three Zatanna was closer in age to Clark. He honestly thought the two of them would end up together, but Clark had poor taste in women. He liked to punish himself with abusive relationships since he thought that was all he deserved.
Bruce scowled. “Enjoying yourself?”
“Immensely,” she winked at him. “You need to relax,” she reached over and pushed back his shoulders. “That frown is going to give you wrinkles, Brucie.”
Through the corner of his eye, he could feel Clark and Jack watching them by the console. Damn Clark and his stupid superhearing. This would have been a great opportunity to pick Zatanna’s brain about Jason Blood. He was still having a hard time wrapping his head around the demon/human body switch. But. Bruce Wayne didn’t associate with temperamental monsters. One whisper of his nightlife and Clark will know the truth. Superman will be even more insufferable than usual.
Zatanna whispered a soft word and the room froze as if she had hit the pause button on a movie. Leslie stood marble still facing the lane, her arm outstretched, fingers clamped on a pink bowling ball. Clark leaned behind her, no doubt whispering words of comfort. Barry Allen’s mouth was agape as he held a greasy slice of pizza to his mouth, inches from taking a bite out of it. Bruce frowned at the preppy blonde. He knew that guy from somewhere, he was sure of it. This was going to bug him all night.
Dick and Jimmy sat at their feet mid-laughter; Jimmy showed Dick his Mythomania cards. Bruce’s breath caught in his chest at the sight of his ward. He seemed so young and carefree. He rarely got a chance to hang out with kids his age.
“Based on Clark’s sunny disposition, you haven’t told him the truth yet.” Zatanna raised a bushy eyebrow at him.
That question was a double-edged sword. Had he told Clark about his nocturnal activities? Clark was better off not knowing. He could live with Superman hating Batman. He didn’t want to live in a world where Clark viewed Bruce as the enemy. Had he revealed their familial ties? It was on a need-to-know basis. Zatanna only knew because her father worked closely with Power Girl back in the day, before the fatal night in Crime Alley. Bruce’s throat closed up with sudden fear. His mother once was endowed by the sun’s rays, just like Clark, but her alien genes did not save her – one of the mysteries Bruce was never able to solve. Clark wasn’t invulnerable. He could be killed. His mother was proof of that.
“He doesn’t need to know.”
“You owe him the truth!” Zatanna swore.
Bruce promised his mother he would protect her nephew. Part of protecting Clark was protecting him from himself. If he knew they were cousins he would risk his life to keep Bruce safe. And that meant recklessly fighting the Joker so Bruce wouldn’t have to. If Clark knew, it would open a can of worms Bruce wasn’t ready to face. Clark will surely have questions, questions Bruce didn’t have the answers to. Like, how did she survive Krypton’s explosion? How was it possible for her to get shot? How was it possible for Bruce Lor-Van Wayne to exist? Martha Wayne was a riddle wrapped in a mystery.
“The truth will only hurt him,” Bruce said.
“How can you say that?” Zatanna snapped. “You know better than anyone the scars losing family leaves behind.”
“Clark has a family,” Bruce reminded her, his voice colored with envy. The Kents loved that alien more than life itself. He didn’t need Bruce. He would only bring Clark down with the darkness inside him.
“You at least have the memory of your birthparents,” she softened her tone. “Clark thinks he’s the last Kryptonian. It would mean the world to him knowing you’re . . .”
“I’m not Kryptonian,” Bruce growled. Not where it counted. There was too much of his father in him. Sure, his photographic memory was a bit more advanced than your average human, but that was the extent of the gifts Amara Lor Van passed down to him, which was just how he wanted it. Someone like him would abuse that much power. Clark was better off thinking he was the last Kryptonian.
“You’re still family,” Zatanna persisted. “He needs that now more than ever.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” Bruce frowned.  Zatanna pursed her lips, forming a hard, ugly line across her face. “Zee, if Clark is in trouble, you need to tell me right now!” Bruce instinctively grabbed the magician’s shoulders and squeezed threateningly.
“He found his ship,” Zatanna said in a dead voice.
“That’s good right?” Bruce wondered, releasing her. His heartbeat gradually returned to normal.
“His father’s hologram only speaks kryptonese,” Zatanna smiled sadly. “He’s been coming to me to speak to his mother—in hopes her spirit will translate,” she said. “Let me clue you in, it’s not working . . . and I’m tired Bruce. I don’t think I can survive another session. He needs you.”
The dead language was another reminder of what he had lost. Mother used to spend hours upon days teaching Bruce Kryptonese and customs from her home world. It was one of the few times he saw mother smile. That, and when they visited the Kent farm after she realized her sister’s son survived the eruption of Krypton. As a kid, Bruce didn’t understand why his mother didn’t just take Kal-El back home with them. Now he realized she was right in leaving him with the Kents. It allowed Clark to live a normal life, free of any burdens of the past.
“I will talk to him,” Bruce decided.
And by that he meant Batman would talk to Superman. In Clark’s mind, Batman was this immovable force of justice that could do nothing wrong. He was even convinced Batman could cook. It was entirely plausible that Batman would spend his free time learning a dead language in preparation for a Kryptonian invasion. Clark wouldn’t need to know the full truth.
“Thank you,” Zatanna embraced him gratefully. “You won’t regret telling him the truth.”
She snapped her fingers and breathed life into the room once more. Leslie threw her arm back and rolled the bowling ball across the lane with surprising agility. The ball rolled to the side, skidding alongside the gutter. At the last second, the ball veered to the left and slammed into the pins. Against all odds, she got a Strike. Bruce felt a gust of cold air settling over their small corner of the room. Sure enough, when he looked at his baby cousin, his cheeks were puffed out as if he were blowing out birthday candles.
The damn idiot. Bruce strutted forward and grabbed Clark by the ear. “Hey– watch it that hurts . . .”
Mr. Kent blubbered and tripped over his feet, falling against Bruce.  Bruce winced as the Kryptonian’s weight slammed into him. That was going to bruise in the morning. Bruce scowled but didn’t release Clark. Petty bitch. He dragged the overgrown child to the food court and only once he was sure there were no eavesdroppers did he release Clark.
“What the hell was that?” they both said simultaneously, Clark needlessly massaging his earlobe.
“You’re being a dick!” Clark roared. “Leslie is my girlfriend!” Clark protested. “I can kiss her if I want to!”
“I don’t give a rat’s ass who you decide to snog!” Bruce thundered. “But don’t stand there and pretend you’re innocent!” Bruce chided him. “There are cameras,” Bruce lowered his voice. “You’re being careless, Kansas. Is this girl really worth ruining your life over?”
Clark’s face colored with annoyance. “It’s called having fun. You should try it sometime,” Clark matched his righteous tone and crossed his arms, pouting.
“You’re being reckless and irresponsible. What if she saw you? I fucking saw you!”
“Only because you’re a paranoid, obsessive, egotistical butthole,” Clark’s eyes flashed crimson and Bruce was forced to step back. Clark furiously shut his eyes and combed his fingers through his slick hair, sucking in a fortifying breath. A few whispy curls bounced over Clark’s squared forehead, steadily transforming him into the iconic Man of Steel. Anxiety pumped through Bruce’s veins. He didn’t understand how a pair of dorky glasses could hide what was so obvious to him.
“I’m sorry, that was uncalled for,” Clark shrugged sheepishly, shoulders slouching once more. Mr. Meek-and-Proper was back. “It’s just . . .” Clark swallowed audibly, his eyes filled with anguish. “They never see Clark,” he said mournfully. “I might as well not exist . . .,” Clark reached over and clapped a hand over Bruce’s shoulder. “You’re worried about nothing, man,” Clark said. “Even if someone did see . . . we’re among friends. I trust them all with my life.”
Clark trusted people way too easily. His friends were human. Humans by nature are a greedy, envious bunch. Fear of the unknown will push them to hate Kal-El or if Clark is lucky, the envy will doom their friendship. Yep, that was Bruce. Mr. Gloom and Doom to the rescue.
“I’m not sure you can trust Leslie,” Bruce said.
He wouldn’t be doing his duty as the older, much wiser cousin, if he didn’t point out what a crazy bitch Clark’s girlfriend was. The fact they met online didn’t exactly instill confidence in Bruce. He had the misfortune of meeting Leslie twice, and that was twice too many times. The first time he met her, she had been screaming at Clark for cooking her breakfast in bed. Then there was the time she accused Clark of cheating on her with Lois Lane. Honestly, Lois would be a step up from Leslie. Sure Lois and Clark didn’t always see eye to eye and argued a lot, but Lois was no bully. Deep down she truly cared for Clark and won’t dream of hurting him. If Leslie learned the truth, Bruce very much doubted it would end happily.
“I know she can be a lot, but her heart is in the right place,” Clark reasoned. “She likes Metallica also.”
“Clark, you like lots of different music,” Bruce pointed out. “Liking the same songs is not a recipe for a healthy relationship.”
“I hardly think you’re one to be giving relationship advice,” Clark crossed his arms.“Your longest relationship lasted three weeks!”
“Yeah because I’m not going to settle for abusive, psychotic, arm candy!”
“I agree with the moody billionaire.”
Bruce jumped out of his skin, stepping on Clark’s toes in his haste. Barry Allen had appeared out of nowhere wearing an easy, amused smile. Barry looped an arm around a very annoyed Kryptonian. “She’s psychotic. Have you heard her broadcast? She wants nothing to do with you.”
Bruce narrowed his eyes at Barry with mistrust, noticing gravely how Barry said ‘You’ not ‘Superman.’ Leslie Willis was so loud and obnoxious, you’d be hard-pressed to find a vehicle that did not have her Superman hate-speech spewing from the radio. Even if Clark did not actively follow her show, Superman most definitely had heard it.
“People change,” Clark brushed Barry’s arm off. “You know that better than anyone.”
“Aye,” Barry relented. “But Leslie isn’t going to wake up one day and be okay with her man . . .” he bit his lower lip, looking nervously at Bruce.
“Her man being an alien,” Bruce finished for him, glaring at Clark. “You told him!” he wheezed with fury. “He’s a cop!” Bruce accused. “You can’t trust him.”
“It was kinda a dead giveaway when he kept breaking his alarm clock,” Barry shrugged. “Don’t worry Papa Bear,” Barry laughed. “My lips are sealed.”
“This,” Bruce’s hand flew out passionately. “Is exactly what I’m talking about. At the rate you’re going, it’s only a matter of time before Lex Luthor finds out the truth. I guarantee the cop has a file on you.” It’s what he would have done if the roles were reversed.
“Barry was my roommate in college,” Clark supplied, his face red with anger. “Stop being such a paranoid, overprotective ass,” Clark’s mouth formed a thin line. “You’re not my brother. Who I trust or don’t is none of your damn business.”
His talk with Zatanna replayed in his head. He opened his mouth to set the record straight and closed it sharply again. This wasn’t the time or place for hard truths and there were plenty of reasons to keep Clark in the dark.

The Schoolgirl Sleuth
“Timmy was the locker room thief, Miss!” Angela proudly proclaimed to the headmistress, keeping a proprietary hand firmly on the awkward looking Timmy’s shoulder. “He confessed everything to me and he wants to own up to you too!”
“My, your amateur detective club has really stood you in good stead, hasn’t it, young lady?” Mrs Dennis replied in admiration after answering Angela’s text message to meet her in the school grounds because she had caught Class 5A’s thief. “Well, Timmy,” the head teacher said, turning her more stern gaze to the guilty looking boy, “I think you and I had better have a little chat in my office, don’t you? Bring him along, Angela.”
The schoolgirl sleuth beamed in delight, and gripped the sullen looking Timmy tighter by his shoulder. “Shouldn’t I tie him up first, Miss?” she suddenly asked. “I had to chase him to catch him in the first place!” Mrs Dennis smiled indulgently at her resident Nancy Drew. “Perhaps you had, dear.” she replied. Angela whipped off her tie, laughing with delight. “Put your hands behind you back, Timmy!” she ordered her miserable looking classmate with a satisfied smile.

Fig. Werewolf. Chili. Rye. Parfait. Sf. Fq.
Fig's vernacular of speaking is problematic because it's harmful to people who have difficulty with word processing skills! It's so hard to know what they're saying half the time!
Werewolf needs to get over himself and go to fucking therapy or something, like god, boy, what the fuck are you doing? Either get help already or shut it and stop complaining about 'oh woe is me I don't want to hurt people awoo I'm a sad little emo dog boy'
Chili is a protagonist who is also a thief! She gets across the concept that being a thief is good to Little Timmy and I will not stand to have that influence in my child's head! I am writing a sternly-worded letter to Devsis to have her removed as soon as--
Rye needs to get over herself. It was just fucking wheat or something that was stolen, it's not like Chili came into her life and kicked her dog or something. She has such anger issues and plays it off as 'ooh I'm so cool I'm Rye look at me with this wheat in my mouth' and you know what the worst part is? She's a sheriff. Cops are evil. Cancel this bitch.
Parfait is a popular, sweet pop singer... hmm, yes, that's true. But do we know who she is in her normal day-to-day life outside of being a popstar? There HAS to be a reason she hides her identity and keeps her personal life a secret. She's obviously a piece of shit behind the scenes.
Sea Fairy is a very popular example of using a queer relationship in media to garner attention! Have you not seen how Devsis baits her as a lesbian, even though she's never given the ability to be with the lady she loves?! This is such bad and toxic representation that enforces the idea that lesbians and women aren't allowed to pursue their love, but instead have to wait for their love to come to them! In this essay, I will--
Frost Queen is a punk-ass bitch who was perfectly willing to let a child die under her watch and then send out another child on a mission that she might never have been able to return from! She didn't even tuck Sherbet into a bed to help him be more comfortable--she just LEFT HIM on the ground! She's a cold and heartless person and a child abuser!

Pitch-Dark Hook the great and the rest of the moles are carefully carrying a large box over the their blue-haired Honnorary member. Hook lifts the lid off dramatically and they all shout "Happy Birthday!" A cake decorated to...the best of the Moles' ability was inside. It was quite messy. But with Natasha's help it at least would taste delicious!
The cake has a party popper that goes off as soon as the lid was lifted, throwing confetti in Sampo's face.
@shallliveoninsong || Sampo's Birthday prompt! || From Pitch Dark Hook the Great!
When he was called over by the Mole's leader, he wasn't sure what to expect. Miss Hook was full of surprises, so anything could happen. And she continues to surprise him as she and the rest of the Moles brought over a large box towards him. He had asked if they needed help but Pitch Dark Hook the Great insisted they were fine.
So he remained still.
Happy birthday!
Soon his face is full of confetti and a startled look. Sampo didn't expect that! Nor did he expect a cake to go along with it. Messy, uneven lettering and with some smudges against the box it came in.
But it seemed Hook and the rest of the Moles put effort and time into this gift. Sampo would not forsake it.
Tumblr media
"Well it's certainly a nice cake! But it's just so big for an old man like me. Let's share it together."
"Alright! Thank you Mr. Sampo!" Julian said as he rushed to grab a handful.
Timmy held him back. "Wait, the old hag gave us a knife for it. Plus I think it's the birthday boy who has to cut it."
Sampo laughed. "Well yes but if Julian really wants to, I don't mind."
"HECK YEAH! I'm getting a big slice!"
"Nuh-uh! I am!"
The children continued to bicker but the thief was happy just as he was. It touched his heart the littlest ones thought of him this kindly.

Sales are massive and they're going up it is about a rebellion it's not about being a sibling thief like you assholes come across every time and they got killed a lot after saying that and they keep getting killed and they won't stop and their animals and I hear what you're saying the other manufacturers in a several
Megan Merkel
There's several of manufacturers other than her and it goes from that car would you find to be too small did you start getting heavy that makes a big difference and you put a few people in it and they're heavy let me find out you can't go to Miami you wouldn't make it and the first time you tried to stopping you almost couldn't in time and he had only three people total and Justin still tagging along. Meghan Markle is the first and it's a small speedy coach with some storage it's almost a direct analogy there's more storage in the wagon bed the other one's too small and not safe or not safe it's a smaller chassis the whole thing would be the second vehicle would be a little bigger and it moves from Meghan Markle over to Kate Middleton and she wants to say it
Thor Freya
And I do have a vehicle it's not that bad and it's not a sports car but it looks like one it is the regular car version of the sports car it's a little bit bigger people I'm saying our cars are Mexican with them in the United States. Then went after Dave's plan when they tried to use our coaches and he noticed it so they had him get a bigger one and they did the same thing and they said it worked I figured out that's what they're doing. It's pretty sharp he says and it is they're doing other stuff because they realize they'll figure it out or they might already and it is more about the symbolism so you say a bunch of stuff but the symbolism is what it is the car has special meaning as does the coach and the car came from the coach and we made the car as we made the mini. We can hear them talking and they said she's the same generation from the same parents almost but it's the same parents and they must have been doing something different so he suggested Prego and the white sauce so everyone's going to buy that and it does help actually. It's not a huge car but he wants to post it they have special meeting and symbolism what I did with that is he pushed him all the way to Boston which is odd it's motivational for us and that's why and Trump was helping and he's a weasel but he was doing it his way and the max now the pseudo empire were trying to buy the coach and take coaches like it and take his and that's what they're like like Timmy Doyle says ain't nobody taking my car I'm going to keep it so I die
Kate Middleton
That's quite a lady
Zues
And you sorry on video and it looks a little yellow so she has a problem and she is fixing it
Hera
A lot of it was the camera and I noticed it too and reflection but there's a little infection and happens with a lot of people so I'm going to try and heal I need to take a vacation and arrest and hyperoxygenate he says that makes sense
Kate Middleton
We don't really need that to happen but you know how to do it and stop complaining it happens to us all the time
Meghan Markle
These keys and I mean the above can free me from getting harmed and I do mean the stuff about the vehicles and knowing what it is and it's more or less forced but people have to see if it's absolute Force from the pseudo empire the two statements below will definitely save me
Zues
And we understand that the top one is kind of iffy but the bottom one it was needed
Hera
Olympus

Empire of Thieves, Session 16
The party attacked Mama Griselda's crew and routed them in an epic battle that saw two PCs knocked down -- one twice! This PC climbed in through the roof trapdoor but, well, you know what they say about splitting the party.
Tumblr media
While Griselda and most of her crew were wiped out, several powerful NPCs escaped to plot further destruction:
Merry Gold: Griselda's adopted daughter, she's a half-elf L5 Rogue (Thief) who saved her mother's Folding Boat and is using it as a basis for a piracy campaign.
Hugh Crab: Merry Gold's boatman from the human underfolk Crab Clan.
Razor Feng: A half-orc sniper and rabble-rouser. L6 Rogue/Assassin.
Timmy Tumbles: A halfling jester/L6 Bard.
Black Axe: The former leader of the Dripping Blades gang, which was also wiped out by the PCs. He's a L5 Warlock (Hexblade, Pact of the Blade) with a Battle Axe +2.
Theodoric: L4 Rogue, a human "X-Man" with a magical X tattooed on his cheek.
Theodoric's elderly bugbear manservant.
Brenna the Shadow, a human smuggler and boatman for the Dripping Blades.
Also if he doesn't die, there is one more warrior who could escape from the fight I described:
Urzul Crocodile, Merry Gold's adoptive half-orc brother. He is a 4th level fighter with a glaive.
In addition, they are on their way to meet up with...
Octavius the Executioner, Merry Gold's adoptive brother. He's a L7 fighter with a fancy two-longsword style. He was killed by PCs but reincarnated into a drow! Should be fun.
Hermina Leech: The Executioner's wife is an underfolk warrior considered one of the most violent and sociopathic killers of Leech Clan.
This is a good basis for a pirate crew and they hate the PCs! Next time they meet, the fight will be a little less one-sided.

✨⚖️⚡ for Cigna, please?
✨ If your OC were a deity of some kind, what would they represent? What do they look like? How are they worshipped and what offerings would they expect? What are their places of worship like? Their followers? Their teachings?
oh geez. hm.
Her backstory, which I still need to write out in a nice way somewhere, is essentially, she was a separatist, killed an Ash soldier (last name Shadowhaunter) but not before he managed to poison her pretty damn good, and then he haunts her for a bit. She works to get him off her back (finishing his unfinished business. what business? to be determined) and when she does and he Moves On, she's like, oh actually I've been wrong all my life. and then somehow adopts Kalla Scorchrazor into her head, who teaches her more stuff, and now she's in the Vigil, in active deployment fighting the Separatists she once worked amongst.
So probably... redemption, the ability and strength of character to change your mind on something and then live full force with your new resolution. Choice? Turning over a new leaf? (I distinctly do not want any notion of 'Must Get Forgiveness/Redemption' in this though. change of convinction is for the Self primarily and for righting the wrongs you've done to others secondly, if there are any. cigna DOES have some and she Rights Them through action and not through suffering herself)
Cigna would be worshiped through actions, for sure. I don't think she'd be big into offerings, unless it's like... in her case, her old separatist gear? The leftovers of the bombs she used to set in traps for the Legions. You'd have to burn these remnants of your old convinction, or otherwise dispose of them. She'd be worshiped... man, nah, she's not one for temples. the hearthfire where you burn your old flag. she'd be like- one of those ancient pantheon deities who isn't the main deity but you do pour out a libation for them once in a while when you need their favour for something.
⚖️ What is the biggest crime your OC has committed? Are they a thief, a cheat, a liar? What is the smallest, most petty crime they’ve committed? Or do they not do crime at all?
Being A Separatist. several murders, disruption of diplomatic activities, being part of organized crime, etc...
's all in the past, though. now she only Legally Murders Other Criminals. maybe a little drunk & disorderly here and there, as a treat
⚡ What are your OC’s phobias? Is there any reasoning behind these? How do they calm themselves down after getting scared? What are they like when they’re afraid? Is there any chance of them overcoming their fears?
ooooo i bet she has a fear of like... being backstabbed, herself, now. because she is so much in favor of being able to change your mind, but she desperately hopes no one on Her Current Side will do this. this manifests in being Paranoid and not really being able to fully trust others. her Magic-User Unit within the Vigil, though, she works with for several years, so she trusts Yurmia and the others in it, even when Yurmia leaves for Havoc.
she will get a scare about this when things aren't entirely going to plan, because what's the chance that Timmy left for the hills instead of just having slept in a little this morning? it's not a very big thing, though, she mentally strongarms herself out of it, at some cost to her mental state later that day, but the braincharr help a little.
it's not a full-blown-panic-attacks kind of phobia, though, but she IS difficult to talk to during/after one of these. hard to convince of things.
