Reblogged that Ravenous poster because I knew you liked the movie (also, just great art), but now I'm curious.

Is it a good horror? My sister loves horror movies and I'm visiting her next week. She always wants to watch a movie, and to be fair, now I wanna see what Ravenous is about. So is it worth suggesting it for our movie night?

THANK YOU IT WAS SO GOOD it definitely sent me into a little reblog spree lmao.

Oh yeah, absolutely! I mean, it's one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm always gonna reccommend it if I can, and I know you like The Terror, so it's kind of a given that you'll find something to love here (part of the Essential Cannibalism Viewing, I'd say lmao).

But yeah, I love the movie so much. It's horror, alright, bloody and bleak, but also kinda silly? I mean, the tagline of the movie is 'You are who you eat' so like...c'mon (also the first ten seconds or so of the movie...lmao). It's got a lot to say, too, a lot of themes to really sink your teeth in (ha!), and of course, Powerful Homoeroticism.

Absolutely reccommended!

2. Ravenous (1999)

I love social horror more than life itself, and this is a pitch-perfect example. I recommend Atun-Shei Films' Overanalyzing Ravenous, if you haven't seen it yet.

3. Ju-on: The Grudge (2002)

See above re: social horror. I never stop thinking about how this series was inspired by rising incidents of domestic violence in Japan - how the contagion of violence in the home spreads to anyone who comes in contact with it.

4. Demon (2015)

This would pair amazingly well with my next pick, which is:

Background: You and your husband are first-time parents. You and Jimmy, You and Ike, and you and Kevin try your best to be the best parents you can be.

Jimmy

You put your baby in a walker as Jimmy comes backstage wearing his suit. You smile and kiss his lips softly.

"H-hey b-babe we have an-another segmen-segment can you come on st-stage with J-June?" He asked looking at you and June with a smile.

"Oh, sweetie of course. But are you sure? Do I look ok?" You ask smoothing out your hair.

"B-babe you l-l-look beautiful." He says taking your hand and leading you and June on stage.

Jimmy sits down in his seat and you take June out of her walker and place her on your lap as you sit next to Jimmy's desk. The cameras start rolling and the audience claps as Jimmy introduces you.

"S-so tonight we're h-here with my b-b-beautiful wife Y/N and m-my l-l-lovely daughter June," Jimmy says letting you speak.

"Hi everyone." You say with a bright smile and June looks around cooing.

"Wow, what a wonderful audience," Jimmy said making the audience clap.

"S-so b-babe I-I mean Y/N," Jimmy says making the audience awe. "Our p-producers are g-g-gonna ask you s-some q-questions."

You nod and let June hold onto your finger. June coos and reaches for Jimmy. Jimmy takes her from your hands and the producers start asking you questions. As you answer the questions you notice Jimmy playing with June happily.

"So how did you see Jimmy after you gave birth?" A producer asked you.

You look over seeing Jimmy holding June and looking at you. You smile and gently stroke June's cheek.

"Giving birth was one of the hardest things I ever had to do but hearing her take her first breath and being able to hold her was one of the best things in the world." You look at June lovingly and then look up at Jimmy. "And when I got to see Jimmy holding her I fell in love all over again. He spends every moment he can with her playing with her, feeding her, and shopping with her. I never knew I could love him more than I already did, but seeing him be a father to one of the most beautiful girls in the world."

You look at Jimmy and lean in kissing him softly. Jimmy kisses back and the audience applauses and June claps along with them. You pull back and June grabs Jimmy's tie.

"I was ready to marry him all over again." You finish looking over at the audience.

"C-couldn't have s-said it better m-my-myself."

Ike

You and Ike had been living in Canada for a few years but after having Ivan you and Ike decided to move to his home town South Park Colorado. It took a month to finally get completely settled.

One afternoon you got a call from Kyle inviting you three down to his mom's house for dinner. You got yourself ready while Ike got Ivan ready.

"Ok buddy I think you're set." Ike says putting Ivan in a blue shirt and khaki shorts.

"This shade of blue good?" You ask Ike referring to your blouse that was the same color as his and Ivan's

"Perfect." He says kissing your forehead gently.

"You don't think it's a bit much we all match when we go out?" You ask adjusting your khaki pants.

Ike acts offended and pouts. "How dare you."

Ivan giggles making you smile and pick him up. You all head out and walk to Ike's parent's house as you were close by. You knock on the door and Shelia greets you.

"Oh Y/N! You look amazing can't even tell you had a baby." She says praising you. "Come in come in."

You laugh and step inside with the boys. Kyle comes up to you giving you a big hug.

"Nice to see you too Kyle." You say hugging back.

"You look great. God I can't imagine how it was giving birth to this chunky boy." Kyle says pulling away and picking Ivan's cheek.

"So how's parenthood?" Gerald asks.

"Amazing Considering I got Ike by my side." You say smiling at Ike.

He smiles and kisses your cheek softly. Ivan sees and pulls your head down and kisses your cheek.

"Oh how precious," Sheila says. "Let's talk about how cute our grandson is over dinner!"

You all sit at the table and eat. You all chat and laugh. You held Ike's hand after you finished. You could tell he was tired you all moved to the living room and continued the conversation you were having with Sheila.

When you look back at Ike you see him fast asleep with Ivan on his chest. Ivan was drooling all over Ike's shirt making you smile. You try to pick Ivan up but Ike's grip around him tightens.

"Oh, he used to do that all the time. It's best to let him sleep." Sheila said.

You smile and kiss both of their cheeks softly.

Kevin

You come home and see Kevin and Kaz on the floor playing with his trucks. You place your shopping bags inside the bedroom and come back out in a different outfit.

"Hey, baby how was Kaz?" You ask sitting on the floor with them.

"He was a handful but I think I got him to calm down well." He says with a smile.

You pick Kaz up and see he was very sleepy. You frown and let out a sigh as Kaz was struggling to keep his eyes open.

"You didn't put him down for his nap did you?" You ask Kevin who quickly got up.

"I was going to.." Kevin says rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Or take him a shower?" You ask getting a bit frustrated.

"I.."

You let out a sigh and grab his hand taking him to the bathroom and putting the baby in the big sink.

"Bathe him I'll be right here." You say letting Kevin take reign.

Kevin tries to bathe Kaz but struggles as Kaz gets upset and starts crying. You watch him struggle to finish but after 10 minutes Kevin was able to finish. He lets out a sigh of relief and wraps the baby in a towel.

"Now put him to bed." You say getting up and heading to the kitchen.

You pour yourself a glass of wine as you hear Kaz crying and Kevin struggling to get him dressed and put to bed. You stand outside the nursery taking small sips of wine. After 30 minutes Kevin comes out exhausted. You look at him and smirk.

"How'd it go?" You ask.

Kevin took your wine glass and finished it making you laugh. Kevin pulls you into a hug and peppers kisses all over your face.

"I'm so sorry I don't appreciate you enough. God, I feel like a deadbeat." He mutters holding onto you tightly.

"Oh honey, I know you were trying your best. Maybe I shouldn't have left." You said rubbing his back.

"No, you shouldn't have to stay home all day with Kaz." He says pulling back. "I'll be better. Tomorrow is your day off so you're going to relax and I will handle everything for you and Kaz. I promise."

You smile and lead him to the bedroom. "I love you and I love when you take charge."

Kevin smiles and gets a sudden boost of energy when you both go into the bedroom.

The sound of a TARDIS materialising echoed through his lab, before being launched out of the Vortex at high speeds, settling into the disguise of a cabinet and knocking the table over as she flipped over several times in the air, landing against the wall with a loud crash.

No sound escaped and no-one emerged, but from the gaps of the doors, the colour of a Mauve light could be seen.

Emergency.

The Doctor flinched at the intrusion, his eyes watching the TARDIS fly around the room rather wildly.

He tilted his head, watching it settle.

He took a step closer and opened the door, peering inside..it seemed normal at first until-

Koschei. And Vera too-…what had he done this time?

“Shei..”

He said softly, and when the man had not answered, he practically zoomed to Vera. Making sure the girl was safe. And she was. Or she was at least alive.

He moved to the master, and placed a hand on his chest.

“Shei.”

I had this thought about you know ‘Shego’ from Kim possible I was thinking what would happen if reader that has a quirk that works like ‘Shego’ and joins the league of villains but the guys are just falling in love with her.

plus toga got frustrated because she doesn’t know why reader only put black lipstick on her upper lip and not her bottom lip is the lipstick barely touches the bottom lip?😂 (like from the show Kim possible how they only put lipstick on their upper lip and not the bottom.)

Shigaraki Tomura

🖐 Tomura was not interested in you at first much like the rest of the league. You were a means to an end, that is until you showed considerable promise. 🖐 Your quirk was unique, it was nothing like what he had seen before and it’s uses were versatile. 🖐 You were one that he kept close, that being said he was still hard to get to know, but he lets you closer than anyone else and eventually you become someone that he really cares about. 🖐 You were his right hand, smart, independent and loyal, easily becoming so much more to him as time crawled on.

Shigaraki worried about you the moment that Kai demanded you were handed over as part of the agreement, even if you weren’t supposed to be alone, Twice and Toga were going with you. He knew that your quirk would keep you safe from most things that you’d come against but that didn’t stop him from worrying over what would happen. “You're sure that you’ll be okay?” He asked. You looked at him and smiled. “I appreciate the worry but they’ll start thinking you have favourites.” You teased and he grunted. “I do.” He admitted as he looked at you over “if anything happens give them a reason to be sorry.” “Oh sure.” You nodded. “Stop worrying so much I’ll be fine.” You winked as you turned to leave.

The weeks that you spent with Kai were tortured for both of you, however during the raid at the Shei Hassaikai hideout, you were separated from Toga and Twice, you easily took out one of the paramedics on the undercover ambulance, you changed clothes stayed there for the rest of fight and lucky for you Kai was put in your ambulance ready to leave, you smirked under the mask and lean down “I hope you’ve made peace with your loss, I’m not sure you’ll have much longer to do so.” You said softly and as you stood up and walked over to the other paramedic in the truck easily snapping her neck and watching her fall to the floor, you rolled your shoulders as you took off the disguise revealing your villain suit. “(Y/N)…” Kai wheezed out and you rolled your eyes. “You really are pathetic.” You rolled your eyes as the truck jolted, you created a protective field as you watch Kai and the mattress that he had been strapped to slide out the back, you climbed out of the back dusting yourself off as your eyes caught on Dabi’s who almost looked impressed. “Do you guys have a plan for him or is he just going to sit like that forever?” You asked. “There’s a plan my dear.” Mr Compress answered as he walked over, taking one of his arms, Shigaraki took the weapons that he had been making as well as his other arm. “Wow that was crueller than anything that I could have thought of.” “Backup is on the way we need to go now.” Spinner yelled from what you assumed to be the getaway vehicle, you smirked as you lifted your hand creating a field. “They won’t be getting far until we’ve gotten away.” You said as you walked towards the truck climbing in the back followed by the others. Shigaraki knows that he doesn’t need to ask you if you're okay or if you're sure that you quirk will hold, instead he climbs in after you as quiet as he always is showing you his trust in silence.

Dabi

🔥 Dabi has never really been one to put stock in the people’s quirks or the way that they chose to use them. 🔥 I do believe that for him to really trust you he would have had to meet you before joining the league of villains, probably before he had established himself a villain even. 🔥 Dabi would trust you and your quirk if you were close enough to be more than friends, you likely don’t say more than a word to each other to relay a plan or attack. 🔥 Your ability allowed you to stand in his flames without getting hurt, you had even protected him from the damage his quirk caused to him.

You bounced on the balls of your feet as you waited for the others to arrive at the camp, swinging your hands back and forth as you looked down at the forest that all the kids were supposed to be in. “Are you really that excited to crush a bunch of teenagers?” Dabi asked, walking up and standing behind you. “I’m excited to see if the heroes are going to get anymore interesting, you know with All Might around it’s gotten a bit boring.” You explained. “Can’t argue with that.” He nodded as he glanced at the group that had gathered already. “Time to get started then.”

Dabi set the fire announcing that you were there, you made your way through the forest looking for the kid that Shigaraki had requested you bring back “is there anyone around here?” Dabi asked. “No, not yet.” You answered. “Mm,” He hummed as he looked around, quickly distracted by Twice who started talking about something, you all decided to head back to the meeting place, hoping that one of you would run into the target at some point, with the mist on one side and the fire on the other you were hoping he’d be pushed into our path at some point, instead you were given the order from Compress as he had the target and it was time to retreat.

Compress falling out of the sky was the only warning of the fight to come, you were quick to move Dabi out of the way “I know these kids! Who are they?” Twice said and you looked at them with a small smile on your face. “Are you guys going to give me something to look forward to?” You asked as you dove forward, knocking away two of them with your quirk and kicking the other off of Compress pulling him up and pushing him in the direction of the others. “Thank you my dear.” He said as he stumbled over to Dabi. “Do you have the target?” Dabi asked. “Of course.” Compress answered sorting through his pockets before realising that he didn’t have the target. “Hey Toga! Grab your boy.” You smirked as you dove towards the kid with the two toned hair, cutting down the ice that he was creating with beams of energy as you pushed him away from his friends. “Shoto, Midoriya we’re retreating!” The kid with the mask on called out holding the marbles you assumed were the result of Compress’ ability. “Good job Shoji!” They all called only to turn and be faced with you. “You should watch the magician more carefully.” You smirked. “No.” The green haired kid turned in time for Compress to explain everything as Kurogiri appeared behind you. You weren’t close enough to stop the beam of energy that his Compress all three of them ran towards Dabi and Compress to catch the now free falling marbles, you only managed to grab the two tones’ ankle Dabi grabbing the marble as he smirked down at the boy. Compress released the quirk to confirm that they had Bakugo before he looked at you. “Head back.” He ordered. “Yes sir.” You saluted before stepping back into the gate and back into the bar. Mr Compress/ Atsuhiro Sato

🔮 Compress probably knew you before the league, maybe you knew each other given the fact that your quirk was quite distracting and he worked best when there was a distraction, you were work partners and then you were more. 🔮 Compress probably doesn’t go anywhere without you, you're far better at fighting than him, he needs you. 🔮 Literally hides behind you when there is a fight, your quirk is offensive and defensive so he trusted that he was safe with you. Don’t worry he returns the favour where he can, patching you up or getting you out of a sticky situation where you could. 🔮 You're more likely to over use your quirk with him and he’d be the one that lets you lean against him or just straight up let you use him as a pillow.

It was after the fight with Re-Destros group and you had done your fair share of fighting before Shigaraki made his way to the tower and Gigantamachi got there, however the amount that you had used your quirk would have left you vulnerable if you hadn’t won the fight, they had all sat down to eat but all you could think about was sleeping as you settled next to Atsuhiro. “Are you okay my dear?” He asked. “Mmhm sleepy.” You explained as you leant against his arm. “Well I have to insist that you eat something first, then you can sleep for as long as you want.” He promised, you gave a groan of protest until a bite of food pressed against your lips. “Here let me help you.” He watched the smile stretch across your face, you opened your mouth accepting the food. “Ew you guys are cute.” Toga spoke from where she was lounging. “You got to find yourself a man that’ll care for you the way he cares for me, that’s my only message for you, anyone less than that, you should definitely make them bleed.” You winked. “Aww You flatter me Dear.” He said continuing to feed you. “You have to eat too.” You frowned, pushing the food towards him, he smiled softly and took the bite that you offered him before offering you another, this went on until he was sure that you had eaten enough. Atsushi settled back on the sofa, you settled next to him resting your head on his chest, he knew that it would be a few hours before you’d be ready to function properly again or use your quirk. “Don’t worry, you can rest here, I’ll wake you when we need you.” He promised but you both know that wasn’t true, he’d try his hardest not to wake you at all in fact he’d probably actively stop people from waking you but you loved him for that and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Spinner/ Shuichi Iguchi

🦎 Spinner definitely knew you before the league and honestly I think that for the most part he keeps you separate from it, either because you don’t play well with others or because he likes something that’s his. 🦎 Always checking in on you, no matter what your plans are. Reminds you rest all the time and knows the signs of overuse with your quirk. 🦎 Easily the most attentive next to Compress, he’s always got your favourite thing on hand if you ever need it, be it food, a favoured weapon, outfit and no one ever knows from where either. 🦎 You guys trust each other to no end and keep each other close, you know that he’d never lead you into a fight that you couldn’t win and he knew that you’d never leave him. You guys didn’t have to see each other everyday but you talked all the time.

The league was running low on hard hitting members and Shigaraki needed firepower “I know someone that could help us.” Shuichi said as he looked at Shigaraki. “You do?” Shigaraki asked. “Mmm.” He hummed. “Who?” Shigaraki asked. “My girlfriend.” He answered. “I didn’t know that you had a girlfriend!” Toga cheered. “Why didn’t you bring her along?” “She doesn’t always play well with others.” Shuichi answered. “You have to stop telling people that I get along well with tons of people, I have permanent contracts all over the villain world.” Your voice sounded from where you had walked into the abandoned warehouse. “You already told her where we were?” Shigaraki asked. “Of course he didn’t, I’m just really good at finding people.” You shrugged. “You don’t look all that big of a power house.” Your eyes shifted to Dabi who was smirking from where he stood, no one saw you move but before they knew it you were in front of Dabi, you punched him in the face as you smirked down at him. “Neither do you.” You leaned over him as Shuichi moved to get you away from the arsonist, he wasn’t fast enough though, Dabi grabbed you around the ankle and blue flames engulfed you, Shuichi sighed as he stopped moving. “That was cosy.” The flames died down to reveal still in the same position completely unscathed. “Tch.” Dabi grunted as he stood from where he had been knocked down. “So how was that entrance interview?” You asked. “You're perfect.” Shigaraki smirked, “you’ll do nicely.” “Aww you flatter me, so who do you want me to kill first?” You asked waiting for your first mission briefing.

Toga Himiko

🩸 You and Toga became friends when you joined the League, you were the only girls there so you connected quickly. 🩸 You guys became best friends by the end of the first mission, with Twice following the both of you around but you loved him as much as you loved her. 🩸 You taught Toga a lot about fighting and used your power to get her from one place to another since her quirk didn’t allow for any modified movement, and when Toga started being able to use other people’s quirks, you gave her some of your blood for whenever she was in a tight spot. 🩸 Toga loves a lot of things about you, your look and colour scheme. The only thing that she didn’t understand was the lipstick or rather the fact that you only put it on your top lip.

“(Y/N)?” Toga asked as she slid into the booth next to you, you glanced at her with a small smile on your face, you knew that she was up to something but you humoured her. “Yes Toga?” You asked taking a sip from your drink. “You know that I love you right?” She asked. “Mmm.” You hummed as you raised an eyebrow. “Why do you do that with your lipstick?” She asked. “Do what? Wear it?” You asked. “You only wear it on your lip! Do you hate me?” She asked. “I don’t hate you.” You answered “I just wear it like this because I know that it aggravates people, do you know how many of those heroes lose their mind over the same thing?” “Woah really?” She asked. “Yup.” You answered. Toga hadn’t thought about that, the possibility that even the choices of your fashion were geared towards annoying as many people as you could. “How do you keep it from going on your bottom lip? You're always rolling your lips.” She frowned and you winked at her. “There are some secrets I have to keep for myself.” You said taking another sip of your drink as you leaned back in your chair. “Now stop asking me questions.” “Aww you're no fun.” Toga whined and you rolled your eyes as you nudged her.

Lucien fester sinclair addams: he's male he has enids powers, he did not develop any of Wednesday's powers. Lucien is a very open child as enid but he's stubborn & rude at times come from his other mother. He hates when people yell at him even when he's wrong he has a bit of a nassartistic behavior. Witch enid and wednesday both agreed to get him therapy it did help but there are still aspects. He's very athletic but when it comes to academic view he's not good he usally has C's only in English he has an A. He's a pure wolf

Claire murray sinclair addams: enid named her 1st daughter after her father(Murray Sinclair). She has a very enid personality, very open & energetic but she has wednesday attributes skillfully & intelligence . She dose have more of wednesday ideals, she uses violence rather than words, athletic but smart unlike Lucien. She dosent fence like wednesday instead she trains with enid is wearwolf hand-to-hand combat, she also target prices with guns she dose use bows but not anymore she did when she trained with wednesday. She hates reading, she's a pure wearwolf like her mama

Second set of twins: Lucifer & Ophelia

Lucifer Gomez Sinclair Addams: he's name after his grandpa(gomez). He has more of wednesday personality, introvert & 'bother me and I'll make u suffer' mentality. He's quite, he will only speak when spoken to he hates fight, as he has enids ideals. He hates fight hates the idea of fencing as a sport as he sees it as a violent way to hurt people. He likes to talk ot trough. He has social anxiety, he dose like to read and enjoy hiking he isn't trained in ay hand-to-hand combat or anything but his mother wednesday told him to carry a pocket knife witch he hates having it but keeps it as it's his mother's wish. He's a phyicic like is mom

She dosent let anyone talk her down she sees violence as a last resort if needed she will use it. She was trained in hand-to-hand combat. She's smart and athletic she dose fencing, arching and track and she liek to read like her twin. She has both phyicic & wearwolf powers basically a hybrid.
