not only should any autistic character who’s ever been infantilized by their fanbase kill and maim more people, but they should also fuck as nasty as possible too. as a treat
my take on the theme "family", for the @/spopfutureszine (twt/ig). there's a lot I could say about this, but I think you get it. and yes I translated the title into first ones writing lol please take note
I love you media that doesn't just have plot twists, it has characters actions that don't make sense at the start but make SO much sense in retrospect that rewatchs hit you so much harder. I love you media with themes for different characters that evolve over the series and play in key moments. I love you media with clever symbolism to drive home the themes. I love you media where when a character makes a terrible decision you're so upset, not at the writers but at the character because you just want them to be happy and you hate how much sense it makes for them to make that decision. I love you media where you lose your shit when a character you've been rooting for finally gets that redemption arc because you've been hoping for this since it started. I love you media that makes you so fucking proud of the character for growing so much. I love you media where the characters make bad decisions realistically. I love you media where everyone's so so flawed and are just a bunch of messy people trying to figure out how to be good people. I love you media thats so clearly speaking from personal experience. I love you media that critiques it's genre but isn't cynical. I love you media that puts so much care and love into these characters that seeing them get that happy ending is fucking cathartic. I love you media with a message the creator clearly cares about getting right. I love you protagonists clearly based on the creator and the creators talking about their characters and sounding so happy to be able to make this story. I love you media where the characters designs change throughout the story to represent their personal growth to the point their end design is what you immediately think of when you think of that character and their old designs look weird now. I love you media where characters have complicated problems that aren't all resolved in one episode. I love you games with multiple endings. I love you voice actors who analyze their characters and creators talking about all the little details of this thing they spent so long creating and flawed but heartfelt stories and people who love what they do.
I love you stories that are made with love and are made with passion and that the creators cared about making.
I was working on this vid back in 2021 but soon abandoned this project. However, yesterday I suddenly felt motivated enough to finish it in one sitting lmao. It was supposed to be a small "introduction" video to my young Prime/Kur twins AU. I still like it quite a lot actually c: It's giving analog horror
what if we badly summarized the plots of our interests. I'll start
1. tiny neurodivergent bisexual with internalized ableism goes into a fantasy world and learns how to be an anarchist
2. chosen ones but make it an abuse allegory
3. kid goes to sleep and wakes up to literal mass murder
4. kid makes an entire fantasy RPG in his brain as his childhood friends lives fall apart due to their respective trauma
5. several lives are ruined because a kid stopped eating a sandwich and found a cool rock instead
6. several people are forced into high risk therapy by a morally ambiguous robot and also try to kill each other sometimes
7. a trans shark teaches a gay guy the power of incredible violence and fuck the police. the gay guy then proceeds to take that sentiment extremely literally.
