Eddie would have a Teddy bear sitting in the top corner of his bed near his pillow that he sprays with your perfume everyday so when he goes to sleep he can cuddle it, and he hopes it makes him dream about you
He absolutely does.
Eddie’s clingy. Not to a fault, but he’s a clingy boy <3
He just loves you so much. He’s a very affectionate guy, and you’re the absolute, definitive love of his life. You’re his bright light in this dim world of his, and he absolutely adores you, and the fact that you love him back just as much... it really makes him melt. Physical touch is one of his top love languages too, and he loves being surrounded by your scent whenever he’s close to you. Eddie just loves being surrounded by you. If he could die smothered, by some cloud that was just all encompassingly you, he would die happy and ascend straight to heaven, he swears.
Once Eddie’s with you, and has had nights where you’ve slept at his, or he’s slept at yours, he can’t go on with you two separated at night. It’s easier for you to be at his, because you’re both alone most of the evening/night, and Wayne didn’t mind the first time he caught you in Eddie’s bed one 7am morning, and the night after where he also saw you leaving the bathroom, when you both knew you should’ve been at home. But it’s also usually easier for him to sneak into your room, than you sneak out. Sometimes it’s hard for either to be done, especially if you know come morning people will notice if you’re not in bed, or that your metal head boyfriend is. It’s just not feasible every night, for a multitude of reasons.
Something Eddie detests. And he will proudly state it, groaning with a disgusted face, before throwing himself dramatically into your chest, and whining his entire speech about it into your warm flesh. All mumbled and tickling you, even when he’s in the throes of woe complaining.
You still get nights Eddie will crawl through your window, fuck the risk, if they’ve been nights that’re rough. Or that he really just wants to be with you. You’ll see him still crying as he lands on your floor, and you’re immediately opening up your covers, and arms. Or nights Eddie calls you in tears, or near to, and you can’t help but race over there, because the pain in his voice as he calls you is just too much for you to let him handle it alone.
But it can’t be an every night thing.
Sometimes you’ll get Eddie presents, and every single time it makes his heart burst. When you presented him with his own “eddie bear”, Eddie was delighted. He promised he’d keep it right in his bed, just as he keeps all your gifts in his room, or on his person.
Eddie would think about stealing your perfume, and obviously he’d want to replace it with a new one, it was your favourite you wore every day! He couldn’t just steal it and not replace it. Also there was no point if you started wearing a completely different scent he’d then associate you with. He even thought about balancing out the bottles, so you had as much left as you did before in this new bottle, whereas Eddie would fill the one you’d been using up to keep... but then those plans got scratched when Eddie and you had been smoking, and he blushingly, and half jokingly, confessed he wanted his bear to smell like you, with a scratch to the back of his neck. You took it into your arms and gave it a big cuddle, but when Eddie explained he wanted it to smell like you always, you actually gave him your bottle. Without a second thought. You also gave Eddie bear a kiss to his soft head, in both of your high minds happy to believe that would endow him with your true scent even more. And then you gave the real Eddie a forehead kiss too.
Sometimes Eddie will give his bear a quick hug, and a sniff, as he leaves goodbye for school, before spraying it right as he scurries to his van. So when he gets back, his room still lightly smells of you. And when he smushes his face into his bear, when he’s zoned out hanging in his room, and later when he goes to sleep, it smells of you, and not of just harsh chemicals.
Eddie will hold his bear in his arms, just when he’s living in his trailer. Chewing on his lip as he presses the soft toy to his lower face, his nose resting on top of his head while Eddie’s in his zone, either listening to music, writing a campaign, or just jamming to the own thoughts of his head. Eddie will even carry it with him, holding it by its hand, never by its neck or anything harsh, as he goes to the fridge, downs some juice, and walks back to his room, Wayne never really commenting apart from the first few times. But even all of them were light chuckles, telling Eddie what he always told him, and you, and what he told every one of his friends who knew Eddie, even sometimes in front of Eddie, that “That boy’s sweet as sugar on her.”
It was a compliment. Wayne liked you, and he knew Eddie was a softie at heart, Eddie was always himself at home. He only ever thought in was endearing, seeing Eddie carrying that bear around the rest of their home. One time Wayne nearly threw the poor bear into the wash when he was doing Eddie’s sheets - damned if the boy didn’t want his uncle to wash his sheets, he had a laundry regime in his mind, and he knew Eddie wasn’t gonna do it - and he threw his hand to his heart when he realised, before putting the bear down, back into place. He genuinely thought Eddie might’ve cried if he’d messed up his bear from you.
Eddie also didn’t know how you knew Sheriff Hopper, he knew how he knew him, but Eddie felt like he was tripping out when he heard Hopper say to you once “That kid’s sweet as sugar on you.” He had to ask you when you came back from your ‘private’ hello, if you two had taken something before and he’d forgotten. Telling you adoringly how smart you were, once he shook his head like a dog as you reminded him that that was just a phrase people used. And then he went around like a peacock, beaming, with his arm slung around you, because Sheriff Hopper thought Eddie was sweet with you. Clearly by the few times Eddie had seen you two interact, Hopper knew and, at least somewhat, liked you, so not chasing Eddie out of town for dating you was even praise in his book, never mind that. Eddie definitely amusedly slipped the fact he’d heard that ‘compliment’ from the sheriff to him, next time they spoke.
Eddie will squeeze the bear, gently, he doesn’t want to hurt them, as he turns to go to sleep. It’s become ritual now. Even the breathing sound of his nose smushed against the creature didn’t bother him anymore, his bear was calming. Especially with the fact it smelt of you. Sometimes you’d cuddle it the entire afternoon you were at Eddie’s, so it smelt of you more, occasionally with you just sitting on Eddie’s bed and, as you’re talking, Eddie leans over, and with his tongue sticking out, wordlessly plops his bear into your arms, before looking at you to keep going.
You have a couple of clothing items, including a shirt or two, you leave at Eddie’s for days you stay the night unprepared. Eddie sometimes utilises those shirts by putting them on his bear. Although if he sleeps with them, they don’t smell of you anymore come morning. But you also said you like leaving them there because then your shirts smell of Eddie, because you like the same thing! So it was a bit of a conundrum.
Next time Eddie is able to go to the right kind of shop, he’s going to buy you a teddy for the exact same reason. He already knows what animal he wants to get you.
Eddie could close his eyes, and pretend you were there with him at night, thanking him for being as lovely as you knew he was and taking such good care of his bear, and how you wanna cuddle with him too! Eddie really focuses in on its scent, because you’re the one thing that makes his thoughts peaceful enough for him to lull into sleep. Everything else that time of night is agony for him. All except you. Even the things and people he loves, he cringes at memories, or worries he’s not good enough, or that they hate him, but with you, you’ve just told him, and shown, and proven, time, and time again that Eddie’s nothing but good in your eyes. He hasn’t fucked up with you yet. Sure he can still get anxious about that, as he does with every person he cares about, but you’re just... you’re otherworldly, at reassuring him.
And oh, if Eddie could lucid dream, then every dream would be about you, he can guarantee. He sometimes just closes his eyes, inhales deep, and begs to dream about you, all until he finally drifts into darkness. Those nights where you’re still so on his mind as he slips to sleep, because of the smell, so he actually does dream of you, are massive successes in his mind! It brings him a lot of comfort to actually dream about you, especially on nights where he can feel the time passing, aching away every minute he’s not with you. Eddie always feels... he feels loved, but partly because of how much he clearly loves you, because he dreams of you! Just another reminder of his truly loving relationship. Something Eddie’s gotten right. How he’s happy right now. He always wakes with a smile when he’s dreamt of you. And he gets excited to tell you about his dream later that day! No matter what kind of dream, wink wink.
Although sometimes he has nightmares with you in, and while he will tell you those dreams also, he doesn’t like them as much! At least he can cuddle your bear that smells of you as he reaches for his phone to call you, or on very bad occasions, snatch his van keys, so he has that comfort of you right with him in grabbing distance, before he can get you for real. Just enough to calm his brain from panicking in those vital few moments before he can reach you.

El x Male Reader x Max?
El collapses into the bed giggling…
Max and Y/N snuggle her from both sides…
Eleven: how did I end up so lucky?
Max: it’s pretty simple actually
Eleven: it is?
Y/N: yeah. you asked if you could join us and we said yes.
Max and Y/N kiss both of Eleven’s cheeks…
Hopper (downstairs): what’s going on? Is your door open?!
Y/N runs and opens the door…

17-Year-Old-Eddie: -smoking out behind the school-
Hopper: You old enough to be smoking that?
17-Year-Old-Eddie: What are you a fucking cop?
Hopper: -glances down at his uniform and back up at Eddie- …Yes.

David Harbour talks about Stranger Things and Thunderbolts at Middle East Comic Con (March 2023). He does not leak any spoilers, but he does describe the Thunderbolts story as “trippy and fun,” says his relationship with Yelena will be a big part of his role, and that he is looking forward to filming scenes with Wyatt Russell/John Walker.

Stranger Things Thoughts
Okay, last Saturday morning until early Monday I spent three days binge watching the first three seasons and the first episode of Season 4, Vol 1. Then I had to take a few days off because - wow, nightmare city - and to process everything. Then I finished off the rest of season 4 in a day and let me tell you ..... I have thoughts.
Spoilers below so ... if you haven't been up to date on the seasons and don't want to be spoiled please don't blame me if you make the conscious decision against advice about spoilers. That's on you and not me.
So.... my thoughts.
Season 1 - The Power of Friendship -
Possibly one of my favorite seasons. I was born in the 80s so a lot of this stuff I clearly remember growing up. Nostalgia factor is so real in this series, just saying.
Friendship is such a powerful motivator. Just a bunch of kids - and one single mom - who care about this boy and will do anything and everything to get him back, even against seemingly unbelievable and illogical odds.
I liked the fact that this was about the friendship and not relationship drama. Though there are a few relationships in dramatic fashion, they just aren't the focus and so we get this nice foundation.
The friendship between Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will (the Party).
The friendship between Mike and Eleven.
The friendship between Eleven and the rest of the Party.
The friendship between Nancy Wheeler and Barbara.
The parent / child bond between Joyce and Will, and between Joyce and Jonathan.
The friendship between Joyce and Sheriff Hopper because seriously, law enforcement doesn't do what Hopper does / did unless you have a serious prior bond. Like, Hopper clearly didn't believe Joyce but because of an old friendship he suspends his disbelief and personal demons to look into even the craziest of leads because he cares for his friend (( ex-husband Lonnie seems to allude to some previous romantic interest but it was never if Joyce and Hopper were good friends or if perhaps one or the other at one point had romantic feelings toward one another that was never followed through - seems like Lonnie has some lingering jealousy towards Hopper so I am leaning toward he knew Hopper had liked Joyce but for some reason Joyce and Hopper never became A Couple unless I missed something?))
Season 2 - The Emo Strikes
As far as a sequel goes, this one is Not Bad.
One of my favorite aspects of this is that the Duffer Brothers did not ignore any of the trauma of the first season - we get to see all the characters in some fashion attempting to deal with ( or not deal with ) their collective traumas and that is something that books, movies, tv shows, and other media tend to gloss over.
My least favorite?
This is where things start to wobble for me.
Nancy Wheeler - I have a love-hate relationship with this character. I love how fierce she is, how she comes to a conclusion and then makes a decision and will see it through no matter the outcome. I can appreciate how one so soft can become someone so harsh To Get Things Done. Her drive and determination all Season 1 to find Barb
She is the surprising bad-ass considering that in season 1 it was alluded to that she and her friend Barb [RIP] were not exactly the cool kids. It actually wasn't until Steve started paying attention to Nancy and they began dating / making out / sexing it up that Nancy's social sphere expanded.
What I hate is the fact that her overwhelming guilt for her friend's death has led her to erroneously put the blame on Steve and her relationship with him. Like, she called her relationship and her so-called love for Steve as "bullshit" and completely crushed his heart (( grr )). Completely ignoring that Steve never - at least on screen that I can tell ) pressured Nancy into doing anything she didn't want to do. Everything that had progressed be it making out or having sex or even the relationship in general was at Nancy's pace. Steve let her take the lead and do you know how rare that is? Just proves that he was far more invested into Nancy, that it wasn't just a fling or a way to get into her pants, he legit wanted to create something with her.
It was Nancy's decision to go up to Steve's room; it was Nancy's decision to send her friend away because Nancy wanted to Fuck Steve Harrington and her friend was inconveniencing her. Despite Nancy's reassurance that she wasn't going to change who she was because of the attention - which she clearly did the whole Pool Party scene was nothing but Nancy choosing to do what she wanted - she very cruelly crushed her best friend. Her last words to her best friend were harsh and very selfish and I can see where remembering that would haunt her. The knowledge that Barb was loyal enough to stick around in case Nancy needed her ... and was caught by the Demogorgan while Nancy was sexing it up with Steve ... none of that was Steve's fault. But he and his relationship with Nancy took the hit because she couldn't / can't deal with her culpability / role in Barbara's death.
I hate that she cheated on Steve. Cheating is a hot trigger for me - I don't understand why people would cheat on their partners, I really don't. And yes, I feel she cheated, because she left things with Steve in the middle of a fight and there had been no clear resolution - there was no let's end things now, or any I don't think we can work out.
I do feel like there were a couple factors that led to this - the amount of alcohol she consumed with Murray and Jonathan; her guilt about Barb and her blaming Steve for Barb's death; I think Jonathan was a good friend and a "safe" outlet to vent. The whole shared trauma psycho-analytical bullshit Murray was spouting - yeah you can share trauma but that doesn't always mean that a sexual or romantic relationship is necessary (( looking at you Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in Speed )).
I think Nancy Wheeler took the easy way out and Steve Harrington was too much of a gentleman to call her on her bullshit.
Dustin Henderson - Dustin is a sweetie and has a very clearly set definition of what he wants his life to be and how he views the world. This doesn't change. His little crush on Nancy, his best friend's older sister is adorable but I am glad that he didn't let it drag him down. Especially when he recognizes that a more age-appropriate crush is possible. He keeps the rest of the Party accountable and is even willing to add new members (( unlike certain gatekeeping emos ahem )).
Dustin is so pure in his friendship and I feel he can see the true character of those around him and acts accordingly. He also sees the best potential and will not allow anyone to be less than what he knows they are capable of being (( looking at you Steve )). His latching onto Steve, recognizing that for all his reputation that Steve is a Great Guy and Someone Who Can Be Counted On.
His relationship with his mom is so sweet even as it is sad. Where is Dustin's father? Why is Dustin pretty much parenting his mom? (( Poor Mr. Kitty Cat ))
Dustin's willingness to defend his friends is all through this season and beyond, but specifically for Dart, for Steve, for Will, and trying to bring "Mad Max" Maxine Mayfield into the fold.
Lucas Sinclair - Lucas is the one most in touch with his mortality and that of his friends. Season 1 saw him the most prepared - his survival backpack was legit - food, weaponry, light. He also had a healthy sense of paranoia and his inability to want to trust El did come off as harsh but he was really just trying to protect his friends the only way he knew how. Lucas and Max just make me grin because Lucas needs someone just as intense and no-nonsense as he is; just seeing some of his home life you know his momma is just as much a firecracker (( his dad's admittance of how to deal with an offended partner, his sister Erica for goodness sake doesn't come by that level of sass without a good source material :D )). Lucas is a bit more view the world in black and white - and I love that he doesn't deviate from who he is no matter the circumstances.
Will Byers - poor guy, that is all I am saying. Will has had a bad way to go -even before all this Upside Down fiasco - and he is so sweet and seems to be the most fragile of everyone.
Mike Wheeler - Season 1 he wasn't so bad - he was insistent on finding his friend Will and he recognized that Eleven would be able to help and was in fact one of the only one's who could. But Season 2, he changed and not for the better in my opinion. Mike has classic Hero Syndrome and it really grates on my nerves. His is worse because he was The Nerd, An Outcast before, and one successful Act Of Heroism that worked went to his head. I also worry, because his personality seems to lead to obsession, and he has fixated on Eleven and I am not sure how to feel about that. Also, he is a total gatekeeper and hypocrite regarding including Max in the Party, totally ignoring the fact that what Lucas and Dustin want to do with including her into their friend circle is exactly what Mike did with Eleven the year prior but he's too butthurt and woe is me. His stubbornness uncomfortably reminds me of zealotry and I don't think that that is going to be a good thing. Boy needs to learn some chill. That people are people and honestly how he puts El on a pedestal is annoying. She's a person and not a super-weapon that only Mike Wheeler can wield or understand. Boy has too high an opinion of himself.
Eleven - a female Pinocchio if I have ever saw one. The struggle is real in her trying to learn how to be a kid, much less one with superpowers. Loved seeing how she is trying to learn how to be a person and not just a weapon.
Hopper - dude has problems and his anger issues and tough love approach to Eleven is just .... laughable. But this bumbling seems to work so ... Dude has it bad for Joyce Byers.
Max Mayfield - Redheads, am I right? Interesting character, i think she's great to shake up the Party and help balance out the stupid. I think that's one reason she and Lucas get along. Kid has had a rough time and that makes her more durable than most. Her head isn't in the cloud of extreme positivity (Dustin), or rigid in that she is always right (Mike), or tentative afraid of his own self ( Will ).
Billy Hargrove - ah Billy. Charismatic, ruthless, charming, psycho.
Joyce Byers - The only parent figure other than Hopper who has a clue what these kids have gone through. A few fries short of a Happy Meal herself. Helicopter Mom of the Decade. Well-Intentioned. Totally unaware that the Sheriff legit has the hots for her - and probably has for decades - but carrying in a strength to her all the same once she locks into something. Don't know what planet she is living on but I sometimes want to visit LOL.
Season 3 - Season of the Hormones ( Let's Go To The Mall ... Again!)
Loved seeing the kids as kids. Kids are resilient, they bounce back, and a few good months of non-life-threatening normality was very good for them.
Poor Steve. I mean, that has been my mantra for all four seasons, but this season especially.
Nancy - ugh, girl, what the heck are doing?
Dustin - poor buddy. Nobody believed you and your little Suzie-poo LOL
Lucas - boy how many times you gotta mess up with your woman before you stop being so dense?
Max - um, honey, the on-again, off-again breaking up and getting back together thing when you have a disagreement isn't healthy babe.
Eleven - girl .... oh girl. I want to hug you and swat you on the bottom in equal measure and they are able to co-exist. Love that you have a kind of normal relationship with Mike (( which is entirely suspect to me because I feel you never got a chance for anything or anyone else? )) but the blatant disrespect for your guardian / parent figure makes me want to scream and toss you into a wall headfirst. Loved that you are getting a personality of your own - rocky though it has been - and I am here for the Max and Eleven friendship! Girl Power, hell yeah!
Mike - Every season my opinion of you lowers and lowers and is probably neck deep into the Upside Down by now. Dial it back, sir! Maybe, get a life and some perspective? Give Eleven a break. Also, stop ignoring your friends, there's more to life than you and your fantasy Eleven, and the little bubble you wrap your dick - er, fantasy in.
Will - I worry about you buddy. Unrequited crushes don't tend to work out well for the pine-ee and seriously, there are better people to crush on than Mike Fucking Wheeler.
Hopper - for Pete's sake buddy.
Joyce - please get a clue, babe.
Murray - you should stop talking to people.
Billy - my poor heart. Also, I know a lot of people think Billy is gay for Steve or Steve is gay but I say ... um, probably not? Billy is clearly unhinged and has gone through shit with his dad and his mom and his resentment and violent aggressions, but I don't think that was because he was gay. I think some people just get to a point of starting shit and being mean and trying to rip into other people because they are so miserable themselves that they enjoy messing with people. And Steve - King Steve - was one of his targets. Probably jealous - likely so. When you come into town to be the Big Guy On Campus, you try to tear apart your Rival any way possible - mentally, physically, psychologically.
Robin / Robyn? - Girl I love you so much!
Nancy - get a hold of yourself woman.
I am here for this season's return to awesome friendships in the form of Steve and Robin soulmates ( I am of the belief the Greeks had it correct, that soulmates are not just limited to romantic cases ) and the awesomeness that was Max and Eleven! Lowkey wanted a romantic Steve and Robin but at the same time, I am glad that there is a good example of non-romantic love and friendship you know?
Erica - girl I simultaneously want to be your friend and pop your disrespectful mouth. I think she needs a better balance but hey, she's what, ten or tweleve? We were all twats at that age she's just more vocal :LOL. Secret nerd she is!
Jonathan - do you have any reason for existing other than ... what?
Also, pretty sure that Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve have graduated at this point ... right?
Season 4 - aka the Season of What the Heck guys?
Why would the Duffer Brothers give us so many amazing new Hawkins residents to discover and then take them away?
Patrick for one seemed like a good one....what was in his life that was so awful that Vecna targeted him?
Freddie - there was a late night accident that resulted in someone's death but only he knew about it? What is the story there? Was he lauded as a hero after the fact with no one knowing the full story? Was he scared?
Chrissy Cunningham - adorable Smol Bean. This girl packed so much into her little screen time and I just ... I am in awe and I really wish she would have been in the whole series. You can't just introduce someone like her and then just .... axe her. You can't bring in this character and be all, oh, her inner demons are her mother has given her an eating disorder and body and personal complex, she tries so hard to be what everyone expects her to be that she has forgotten who she was and wanted to be. You can't have her show that spark of actual personality when interacting with Eddie 'The Freak and local Drug Dealer' Munson and then off her. You can't show glimpses that Eddie was reaching her in a way that she obviously had not experienced either ever or in a long time and show that she trusted him and was having fun with him and then FREAKING KILL HER OFF!
Eddie Munson - be still my heart. Adorkable. I am convinced this boy had been heavily bullied until he physically grew out of whatever awkward fragility and was able to literally fight back. So protective. He took four new freshman nerds under his wing and by his own admission he looked out for them and protected them - likely in the way he wished he had been when he was their age - and provided them a safe space within the Hellfire Club.
Also, I don't get how people characterize him as gay? Like, I find it funny that people think Steve is so awesome that all the dudes (Billy, Eddie) have the gay hots for him but damn!
Do people not understand that hetero guys act like this all the time? Boobs, farts, sex, their own dicks, friends ... guys joke about these things all the time? Guys like pushing boundaries and are actually far more tactile than most want to give credit for and it's not always a sexualized thing either. To label all of this as effeminate or purely homosexual is a disservice to the range of emotional, social, and physicality that men are capable of.
You can head canon him that way all you want, but I personally don't see it. I grew up with two older brothers, a butt-load of male cousins, and hung out with mostly guys all through high school and beyond = honestly Steve and Eddie interaction seem to be them feeling out who has parental rights over Dustin and the Party than anything else. Steve is so used to being the Male Babysitter it must be a shock that someone else might share the role. And Eddie has protected Dustin and the boys at school for almost an entire school year so yeah, Eddie is in Dad Mode as well.
Eddie also has the hots for Chrissy Cunningham and you cannot tell me that there wasn't something extra between them. The flirting in that little picnic table attempted drug deal was so full of pining (( Eddie )) and realization (( Chrissy )) and that little bit about Eddie having remembered Chrissy and her routine from Middle School meant that he was aware of her on a deeper level than, oh, I see that person in school kinda thing. She mattered to him. And the showing off - Eddie wanted to impress her! Here, Eddie isn't the brash leader stomping on the tables in the cafeteria - he is softer, more embarrassed [ do i have leaves in my hair omg squee! ] and definitely preening like a peacock [ i got these tats (( pulls his shirt down and puffs his chest ignoring the fact he has a sleeve of visible tats on his forearms )) ]. He also was willing to give her a discount on his drugs, which, Eddie Munson does not strike me as the kind to let the jocks who obviously dislike him and what he stands for get a discount. But for Chrissy he is not only willing but offered it himself.
Also can we not see how he could barely take his eyes off her the entire time. There was such a look of wonder - it was like, Chrissy was his unattainable and here the woman of his dreams is coming to him for help and he's just heart-eyes pinch me is this real?
Which would explain how Chrissy's death would affect him the way it did. For goodness sake, he dedicated his Distract Vecna's Bat Agents Of Death to Chrissy. You don't do that for someone who doesn't matter.
Eddie being a coward ... I don't think it's a matter of true cowardice. But I feel this proves Eddie had a ton of insecurities and I think it's a manifestation of trauma from past bullying. It's not unusual that if you had previous trauma to not want to engage full throttle.
I think people see the very foolish and naive way that the Party and Nancy and Joyce throw themselves at an almost suicidal degree into danger and then dam others ( Steve, Robin, Eddie, Erica, Hopper) for having a bit more self-preservation and practicality that it almost seems like cowardice instead of realism.
I can relate to Eddie in this.
But you know what? When it mattered he was there. And he came about it from a different perspective. Steve and the others were creating weapons but Eddie was creating shields. He was a protector, just coming at it from a different perspective and that just added to the whole and being that much more effective. Eddie could have hot wired any vehicle and yet he chose one that was comfortable, large enough for all of them, and able to give some anonymity and temporary sense of safety and home than if he had just grabbed another van.
Jonathan - the only good thing I see him for is supporting his brother. He is a shit boyfriend who cannot even communicate with his girlfriend on what he really wants. Shit boyfriend but excellent big brother. He also has a very poor idea of himself and so he gives up on things and doesn't really fight for them because he thinks he doesn't deserve them. He defeats himself and therefore he is not allowing himself the opportunity to grow.
Argyle - I have no idea how to take this dude seriously, LOL
Will - This season I am very annoyed with him. Like, the pining is ridiculous and it's just frustrating because out of all the characters, I do not see any character growth so it's like, what are you? What do you bring to the table? Are you just the niche obligatory obvious gay character and that's it? that's all? You have so much potential! He is whiny and weak and fragile in all the worst ways and I just think he can be awesome and they are not writing him like that and it's all just grrrr the waste of potential!
Joyce = oh honey.
Murray - I cannot stand him and yet he is entertaining. His character had a mini-glow up to sort of bumbling badass and i just can't get over the fact that he is just like my skeevy uncle down to the beard and hair and glasses and lack of appropriate hygiene and ** shudders ** . His offset to the "Parents" is kinda hilarious. They have formed their own little Friend Trio and it is entertaining.
Hopper - well hot damn. Hop got his girl at least lol
Max - oh sweetie I wanna hug her. Her character growth each season gets better and more complex and I love it for her.
Lucas - I feel for him. He was trying something different (basketball) and I get it. He has always been the most focused and realistic of the Party and it makes sense that he would want to keep trying to grow and better himself than be content to do nothing.
Dustin - my chunky monk just keeps gettting sweeter every season. He is becoming his own little badass and is certainly a Den Mother in the Making. He is the most balanced I feel of all them.
Mike - I keep liking you less and less man. He annoys me and I seriously try and find something to like about him but I am ... coming up blank. He is obsessive and controlling and completely unaware that there are other interests and people outside his little mind and awareness. What does Eleven and Will see in this guy, like, seriously?
Eleven / Jane - girl I feel for you. You have not had it easy. Your whole life you have been a weapon and told how special you are and now you don't know what you are or how amazing you could be in spite of the lack of powers. Your boyfriend harping on only how your powers were or just himself isn't helping either. "Friends don't lie" and you lie ... no help from Max's "but boyfriends and girlfriends do" like that is the worst advice Maxine. Loved that in the end, she decided on something for herself for once, Mike be damned and I was all yes!
Jason - um, what the heck man? Zealot. Classist. I think he legit liked Chrissy, but was probably more in love with the illusion or the concept of Chrissy than actually her. We don't know, we weren't given a glimpse into past thoughts / motivations of the newer characters. But what the heck was up with the adults of Hawkins to listen to this little shit like he's the second coming of Christ?
All in all ... Season 4 was very intense. I am not going to lie, I fast forwarded a lot of of the Will, Eleven, Mike, Jonathan, Argyle, Vecna / One / Henry parts to get to the other stuff that I found frankly more fascinating.
Also, this was gorier and messier and I dunno. Boss Level but I don't know how they are going to top it?
Also, the whole Nancy and Jonathan relationship has got to end. It's obvious they are a band-aid couple and aren't meant to last and they need to stop messing with Steve!
Loved the whole Robin and Steve Bromance; Robin and Nancy as reluctant heroines ... Robin obviously is finding herself liking Nancy as a person a bit but is very loyal to her brother Steve and can't stand to see how Nancy is treating Steve and giving him false hope. Adored Robin, Steve, Nancy, and Eddie as the Almost Adults of the Group, trying to keep the Younger Idiots from killing themselves.
Max and Lucas reuniting - I am here for it!
Dustin and Eddie and Steve is a pure male friendship / brotherhood and I wish we had had more of it.
Eddissy - I want more Eddie and Chrissy and they had so much potential, y'all! So. Much. Potential!
Wayne Munson killed me every scene. Wayne Munson just wants his nephew back. Wayne Munson knew that his boy was something special that the world just didn't want to see because he wasn't cookie cutter like Jason.
And those are just some of my thoughts.

The cliff-hanger at the end of Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 - it was shocking!
To learn that Sheriff Hopper and Steve Harrington have being secret lovers since season 2 will be heart breaking to Joyce Byers and Nancy Wheeler! If they think the Demi-Gorgon is vicious, wait until they have to battle a woman scorned!!!
