Naraku is living rent free in my head and man it’s been like 7 years since I’ve watched Inuyasha.

I’ll never get over the Shikon no Tama being the actual villain of the series it’s one of the greatest twists that should seem so OBVIOUS when you think about it because who ever said that an amalgamation of souls could not be sentient??
Like do not get me wrong Naraku is still very much a villain for the majority of the series but the revelation that he was just being puppeteered by the Shikon? The fact that he hid behind wooden puppets, evolving to puppeteering his own detachments and other people, only to be a puppet to something else instead????

Why didn't Zero use the Sacred Jewel to wish Toga back to life instead of using it to create the Rainbow Pearls?

Sōta asked inuyasha’s help ,in order to save Kagome from the horrible Noh Mask.Inuyasha’s immediate responce was vital. The hanyo confirmed Sota’s expactations by saving her,and vanquishing the Mask(chapter 27).
Since this great moment he became Inuyasha’s foremost fan, seeing him as older brother and hero.
Btw,no offence for anyone who like Kagome, but I can’t avoid a question:Would’ve the excellent warrior miko Kikyo had been so easy target for the mask, the way Kagome was? No,she would fight it and kill it!

What can I say, Inuyasha was (and still is) my favorite anime of all time. Of course I'm going to go all out with an artpiece dedicated to it. Don't judge me

Inuyasha - Chapter 3 of 559...
Chapter Index
BE AWARE: These first few scanlated chapters are read from left to right...
Alright, we're at chapter 3.
A bunch of important stuff happens in this chapter. Inuyasha goes after Kagome to get the jewel, Kaede releases the beads of subjugation, and Kagome THE WORD OF SUBJUGATION to get Inuyasha to stop attacking her. Inuyasha finds out that Kikyo died just after he was sealed to the tree. Kaede also flat out states that she thinks Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation. So now Kagome has the job of keeping the jewel purified and safe. Also, Inuyasha is still needing to be told that Kagome is not Kikyo. She tries to make friends...Inuyasha isn't having it.
We do see low-level youkai starting to come around and take interest in Kagome.
Inuyasha is also keeping tabs on the jewel, and therefore the girl who is protecting it.
In the morning, Kagome tries to find her way back to the bone eater's well through the forest, but she ends up getting kidnapped by some bandits instead.
Inuyasha goes after her...to keep the jewel safe.
I love that these two don't get along. I love that Inuyasha is initially a bad guy and defies all of the audience's expectations. And I love that the word of subjugation is a dog command. Everything is coming together to set up the main plot mechanic for the entire series in the next chapter...

I’m not committed to be bartender for the Old blind Hag. Why can’t she take days off from drinking? I can go dry for more than a month if I want to use more brain creativity.

WIP Wednesday: SP 29
Guess who's coming to dinner?
Kagome watched with curious eyes as the doors creaked open to reveal a young girl, appearing not much older than her brother. Her skin was the warm color of a copper coin, glowing in the light of the many oil lamps that surrounded the walls. Her hair was the pale, almost ethereal glowing color of the moon’s light in a densely, shadowed forest. She wore a simple white kimono with blue and silver waves woven into the silk and as she looked up, she had pale purple eyes, so pale in fact one might think she was blind if not for the way she quickly focused on the crown prince and princess and bowed slightly, her hair falling over her shoulders and showing rather simple, human looking ears despite every other trait of hers screaming yokai to the young princess’ senses.
Not to mention the fact that there was a hum of blood red youki that swam around her, though it was nowhere near as vicious as Inuyasha’s had been when he transformed.
“Elder Brother,“ the young woman said, her voice mature and even, “You received my message.” Inuyasha reached into his suikan and pulled out the small red branch the bat had dropped him earlier.
