the   music   is   BLASTING.   she   can   feel   it   pulsing   through   her   bones   ,   a   constant   vibration    —    insistant   ,   demanding   to   be   heard   ,   leaving   little   room   for   anything   else.   it's   why   she   loves   this   shit.   it's   hard   to   think   with   all   this   noise   ,   hard   to   do   anything   but   feel   and   move   and   dance.   she   does   a   lazy   spin   in   the   air   ,   making   sure   to   keep   her   cup   of   booze   upright.   (   not   that   it   matters.   not   that   it'll   do   anything   to   her.   )   she's   made   it   her   personal   mission   to   IGNORE   the   hotline   ,   no   matter   how   much   it   screams   for   attention. 

it's   her   birthday    —    or   it   was   until   an   hour   ago.   she   spent   the   morning   making   a   bullshit   appearance   for   some   townsvillle   celebration   in   their   honor   ,   the   afternoon   making   her   traditional   birthday   dinner   ,   and   the   night   is   HERS.   townsville   can   burn   to   the   ground   for   all   she   cares.   she's   going   to   spend   the   night   fucking   around   with   her   friends   and   trying   to   remember   to   use   coasters   inside   robin's   house. 

people   litter   the   lawn   of   robin's   house   and   the   utonium   house   ,   screaming   over   the   music   and   one   another.   she   knows   for   damn   sure   robin   and   mitch   didn't   invite   this   many   people   ,   but   half   of   townsville   decided   to   show   up   anyway.   (   they   always   stick   their   noses   where   they're   not   wanted   ,   impose   themselves   on   their   heroes'   lives   without   consideration.   )   buttercup   isn't   BOTHERING   to   feign   kindness    —    that   was   for   the   morning   ,   when   she   was   an   official   powerpuff   girl.   she's   not   even   in   uniform   anymore. 

“   surprised   you   made   it   ,   ”   buttercup   hums   ,   hovering   right   above   gwen's   head.

can   gwen   fly   ?   this   was   supposed   to   be   a   surprise   party    —    but   then   ,   it   was   hard   to   surprise   three   people   with   superhuman   hearing   who   live   right   next   door.   she's   got   NO   CLUE   how   gwen   got   here   ,   or   when.   the   idea   of   gwen   in   an   airplane   tickles   a   little.   super   mundane   for   a   protector   of   the   galaxy.   and   like   ,   buttercup   doesn't   go   OUT   of   her   way   to   keep   her   powered   friends   away   from   her   human   friends   ,   but   robin   doesn't   like   to   mingle   with   other   superheroes.   buttercup   is   almost   certain   that   if   they   hadn't   met   as   kids   ,   robin   would   keep   thirty   feet   away   from   the   powerpuff   girls   at   all   times.

robin   is   so   much   nicer   than   she   deserves.   so   is   gwen.   who   gets   on   a   flight   in   the   middle   of   the   week   for   a   house   party   ,   no   matter   who's   birthday   it   is   ?

Danny and the Doom shinanagans

I know we all have seen the dcxdp troupe of Clockwork putting Danny in a universe that would work as a rage room BUT hear me out rather than DC he puts him in marvel and tells him to go full gremlin mode

So he does . Either as Fenton or Phantom or maybe as both he becomes a menace . Probably trou pranks and robing planetariums and whatever there is something that has aliens or stars or space - you get my point

Now what I think would be hilarious is if people think he has to have connection whit Dr Doom . Doesn't matter what connection . Examples of theories people have of those two :

For April Fool's day the GearStation Poketube starts like normal except it's being run by a sneasel in a tiny gear station uniform. Not even dubbed over, just the sneasel going "Snee Snee Snee SNEE sneasel Snee!" like it's been doing this the whole time. In the background you see two sneasels (hisuin and johto) in Ingo and Emmets uniforms being carried around by Lady Sneasler in her own total uniform (jacket included!). The chat is losing it's mind and half the comments are just "SNEE!"

That’s the entire live stream for the day. Just depot workers following the Sneasel Staff and Lady Sneasler. They even do battles on the subway, just the Sneaslers. Ingo and Emmet and the Depot Workers take orders from the Sneasels and Lady Sneasler. No one acts any different.

Everyone is losing their minds. It’s the highest viewed video on the whole PokeTube site for a while.

I do not care if Cody is your favorite character or not, you need to realize that he was used as bait to draw attention away from the fact that the Bad Batch team could not be assed to redesign the clones and instead gave them new armor which arguarbly requires more effort than just softening and rounding features, recoloring skin and texturing hair, and then copy-pasting the models.

Gear Station PokeTube channel that’s full of information about trains and the Battle Subway, except it’s run by the Depot Managers and other Staff. The Twins don’t exactly have the time to make videos betwen battling and keeping the trains running, but every so often they’ll show up in videos, perhaps just in the background. 

Those videos are always flooded with comments like “we all know the real highlight of this video was that 3 seconds of Boss Emmet in the background” and “did Boss Ingo just pick up a bench that’s supposed to be bolted down by himself?”

Sometimes they’re actually in the videos to explain something or do a Q&A but the other videos are much more fun to some fans. It’s always funny to see what shinanagans the twins get up to in the background of another video

sometimes people see zelda and go ‘haha funny adventure sword game with puzzles’ and move along with their day.

But there’s something incredibly sad about the entire timeline of Zelda, when it comes down to it. Three people, stuck in a repeating cycle never to be broken. 

Was Ganon always destained to be evil? Was Zelda always destained to carry such a burden? Was Link always destained to be thrown headlong without any warning to become a hero?

Did, perhaps, the ones who know of the timeline, of the prophecy, of the cycle, did they believe that it was over only to be repeated again with each incarnation? 

Do the souls of the three locked in the endless cycle cry out? Is there pain? Or do they simply not know? Not realize that it is them who they face again. A face that they know too well, a face that they have seen over and over and over again?

I wonder, truely, though, if the three dreamed of their past lives. 

If Zelda dreamed of the countless times she had been used as a hostage, the countless times she had used magic to keep herself safe but in staisis, of disguises and ninjas, of the roaring seas as a pirate, of a guardian she does not remember? 

If Link dreams of being nine years old and never changing, only to change too fast, of riding on horseback, of darkness, of wolves and a laugh he cannot place, of a sister he does not know?

If Ganon woke from dreams of his death as a child, of becoming a monsterous beast, of shadows, and agony, and a lust for power he cannot grasp, of a sword through his chest, through his face, of being shot over and over by arrows of silver and light?

I wonder if somewhere, deep down, they curse their destiny, locked in an endless cycle of suffering and loss.

Something silly and quick I wrote bc I love cooking in Stardew, and Shane. I just *clenches my gay little fists* love my stocky chicken man. 

Shane looks from the counter and back to you. Then back again. Then once more at you. You raise a brow expectantly. Right-he should say something nice. Breathing deeply he schools his face, or, tries to at least. He can’t stop the grimace of dread tightening his lips. He knew you had worked hard on this recipe. For several weekends now you had spent your evenings locked away in your storage shed. Those freaky little chickens hard at work laying eggs for your next big creation. He wanted to be supportive. But-

How could a little jar look threatening? Because this stuff looked threatening. Picking up the glass jar he holds it up at arm's length. Even though it had been kept in the fridge over night it still radiated a faint heat from within. Shane holds it up to the window looking back at your skeptically. The light from the bay window of your kitchen seemed to just be absorbed by the contents inside. Sucked into the blackhole in a bottle. Food shouldn’t do that. If he squints into the void, he could see little flecks of ruby red and crimson floating suspended within. Was it seasonings? Or from the eggs? A mystery he didn’t want to know.

Even with the lid on it smelled off. Yah- no he couldn’t…

“Well?” You look so hopeful. It was cute. Work weathers hands clutching over your chest, like his opinion was the only thing that matters. And that that opinion better be a good one. Big ol’ baby doe eyes did little to him now though. Years of this tactic being used against him from Jaz and Marnie had made him immune. But, you were his partner. He should be supportive right? By yoba; was he trying to hype himself up to try mayo.

He sighs rubbing a large hand over his stubbled jaw and hands you the jar. You take it from him with a squeal of excitement.

It had taken you several times to get the goop into a jar. First couple tries to get the condiment into a jar had gone disastrously. Something about the concoction made it volatile (another reason why he was scared of it). Each time you had tried to store it it broke the containers. You had spent the last hour before presenting him this monstrosity sweeping glass up from the shed floor. Somehow you had wrangled it into some old mason jars that self proclaimed “wizard” had given you. Yoba, you were going to make him go gray with these shenanigans.

“Wanna try it together?”

He hesitates. “Darling, I would like to make it to at least my late 30’s.”  He loves you immensely, but that stuff looked deadly.

“Hey!” You laugh smacking his soft barrel chest. “My goth babies worked hard for this. I worked hard on this.” You reach over him and grab your favorite wood cutting board. Shuffling about you wave the remains of the baguette you made yesterday at him. Damn, he was weak to your baking.

You had planned to try this new mayo with some fresh cheese and prosciutto from the market. In theory you believed it would taste like something gourmet. You were hoping for an earthier mayo than the regular hens. Something like a rich truffle oil and peppery. It looked the part to you at least and the spices you added to the machine you knew for a fact were complementary.  Cheese board done you reach for the tiny jar.

“Please don’t open that.” Shane begs.

“I’m opening it~” You sing out and pop the lid. The reaction was almost instantaneous from the both of you. He gags covering his nose and mouth with his hoodie. You cough momentarily unable to breath from the stench before screwing the lid back on. But it was too late for the kitchen. The small space now smelt of sulfur, ash, and old vinegar.

“What in the hell-” Shane coughs staggering for the back door to let some air in. “Why did you make that!” He yells over his shoulder taking in large gulps of fresh sea air.

“What else was I going to do!” You round on him, eyes swimming with tears brought on by the putrid smell of the mayo. “They’re eggs!” You look so betrayed. Like the goop had personally offended you.

Shane laughs, the obscurity of it all hitting him. “Nah babe. Anything that comes out of chicken that looks like Sebastian should not be eaten by humans.”

“The aesthetic though-” You pout. You come to stand by him to clear your senses. Shane chuckles and pulls you close. He kisses your face, chasing away your frown until you were giggling against him.

“It does look pretty cool.” He agrees, rubbing your shoulder soothingly. “Maybe someone out there will buy it? Lewis has connections everywhere.” You huff but nod all the same. Taking a moment to run the jar back to your storage shed you return ready to eat a regular boring cheese board. Shane grins and nods along with your little mutters of betrayal and “no extra corn for them”. A lie but heat of moment ranting did that to you. 

“How much did you make anyway?” He asks once you two settle into your breakfast nook. You go still, eyes darting everywhere else but at him. “Babe-” You flush, shoving a large piece of melon in your mouth instead of answering. Oh no.

Shooting him an apologetic look you swallow. “I-I might need help cleaning out all the mayo machines today.”

You are damn lucky he loves you.
