Pit 8 - ShB Spoilers

Striding alongside Shio, Lett's eyes roam the cliff side continuously.  Even though Shio had successfully defeated Vauthry and Hades and no longer was infected with Light, there were still stray sin eaters about.

After every sweep, her eyes drift down to her wife, fingers brushing the pale scales as if to reassure herself of her presence. Doing her best to calm her racing heart, she follows Chai-Nuzz towards Pit 8, hands shaking uncharacteristically.  She slides back a bit, allowing Chai-Nuzz and her wife to walk ahead of her, acting as their guard.  

Her heart stutters as she spots him, as tall and handsome as he always had been.  She hears the miqo'te step forward, watching carefully as the galdjent's gaze moves over their little group.  His pithy remark about someone fighting battles for Chai-Nuzz dies on his lips, his jaw dropping open as his eyes fall on her.

Brushing everyone aside, he strides forward, wrapping strong arms around her tightly.  "Wicked white, you even smell the same…"

Shoving his hand into her hair, he wrenches her head back just like he used to, lips crashing onto hers.  Kissing him back greedily, Lett loses herself in the moment, her hands finding their old places, salty tears mixing into their kisses.

At Chai-Nuzz's embarrassed throat clearing, Lett pulls away, blushing furiously as she spots Shio's eyebrows high on her forehead.  "Ah, Perle, this is Wrenden.  Wrenden, my, ah, wife, Shio Shinju."

Pulling out of his grip reluctantly, Lett's gaze stays on his face as his eyes widen.

"Wife?" The man shook himself and refocused on the miqo'te.  "Right. You ask me to help you solve Eulmore's problems, but first, I would see you solve one on your own. Accomplish that, and you will prove both to me and the people that you are a man worth following."

As they worked through the issues, the galdjent's gaze often found that of the viis, the looks between them heated and confused at once.  Lett promised further discussion later, when they and Shio could be alone.

 Hey! I am... fairly certain that was the months I lost to working out conversion rates and the different currencies in Leritheyar. the maths involved had me so wiped like. it’s not my strong suit. and I decided it was necessary to know.

 Like it was for one scene so I could make a sort of semi-attainable-but-expensive goal for Leiri to work towards in WereCreature Chronicles. I have sheets somewhere of it all, because I didn’t just stop at the one currency, I did it for the four of them and then... have barely mentioned them since...

 I’d better still have those sheets somewhere lmao

Sentenza was my first thought for this; and yeah, he’s a bastard and would just...watch it happen. Unless it was one of his crew, then he would jump in even if it was a raging thunderstorm to pull them out. 

Sylvan would blink and watch curiously for a minute, and then realize she should probably see if they need help, and grab a rope or whatnot. 

Nia would run to help no matter who it was, and she’s a very strong swimmer so she’d have no trouble saving them.

Karro would do same, only I’m convinced that even though he is a good swimmer it would be more likely that they both end up pulled under :( I feel like his risk assessment is just worse than Nia’s unfortunately.

This is such a cute question!! 

Sylvan already grows things -- a few things useful for medical treatment (peppermint, St. John’s wort), Foxglove, and she’s trying to grow carrots.

Nia just supervises Sylvan for the most part. I think she’d be relatively adept at keeping up a garden if she had to, but she is a sea child.

I do not think Sentenza would be good at gardening at all. Too impatient when it comes to such things. 

Karro I think would surprise himself and both enjoy it and possibly be best at it. He’d grow good survival crops, beans and salad greens.

this ask made me realise that all of my characters are, in fact, criminals so this is more crimes they have committed laksjdf

nikita: treason. well, technically in her eyes its not treason because everything she’s doing is for the betterment of her country, but under the law, she (and the entire revolution, really) is committing treason.  she’s also indirectly responsible for a terrorist attack but cut her some slack cause she didn’t know it until it was too late

arya: desertion of the military and conspiring w the enemy!! we love war crimes!!!

rhodes: illegal substance use, bomb making, and using said bombs to blow up things,,,, i love my son

obisan: also treason!!

gwen: illegally tampering with a bot’s core code to make it capable of harming humans

Hmmm honestly I’ve had to think hard about this because I tend to put my characters through the wringer so it’s tough to think of something they couldn’t survive!

I would say Riona would definitely be taken out by some sort of epidemic disease that she inevitably tried to help stamp out.

Aidan on the other hand...I think Aidan would try to take on too much responsibility in a chaotic situation say an invasion or a natural disaster and end up running themselves so ragged they make a stupid mistake and end up dead.

I don’t think Fern could survive being forgotten by the ones she loves- she’s a very social and people-y person and her family is the most important thing to her. And seeing them forget her would be torture for her.

Sam couldn’t survive knowing that she caused major harm to someone she loved. Her entire being is geared towards protection and she would rather destroy herself than know she caused a loved one pain.

I answered something similar with the cast of Sisterhood of Blood, but I’ve never really answered the second half of this! I’m only going to answer for the characters who would actually try to do something -

Rosalind: Either she’s IN the heist or she’s doing this 

Caleb: He’s probably the one running the bank heist tbh

Eliza: he instinct is to go find the sheriff, but if Clementine isn’t with her she’s probably going to get in the middle of the heist
