Okay, since my Bells Hells Pokémon Teams were more popular than I expected:

More Bells Hells Pokémon

Pokémon that didn't make the six slot team cut (or possibly didn't occur to me at the time. There's 1,000+ Pokémon now, so it's harder to remember them all) but I think makes sense for Bells Hells to have. Except Legendaries. That will be a different post.

Chetney

Cubchoo/Beartic- another that Chet would have picked up in the Icelost years, or maybe up near Uthodurn. Cubchoo was a cute little kid Chet took in, and Beartic is kind of werewolf-shaped for a bear

Seedot/Nuzleaf/Shiftry- tree Pokémon, need I say more? Might be shiny for that redder wood coloration

Delibird- for the Santa theme. Also, it can just cart around all the toys Chetney carves in its bag tail

Wyrdeer- more Chirstmas theme, but also just majestic old man vibes too

Drampa- old man vibes and it likes kids, so good for an old toymaker

Stufful- it's kind of a toy. I mean, the Pokémon Go version has a tag on its butt

Bonsly/Sudowoodo- thought it was a tree, was disappointed to find out it was rock, but since it wasn't metal, Chetney decided to keep it

Poochyena/Mightyena- more wolf Pokémon

Orym

Falinks (Shiny)- little soldier guys for the little soldier man. Shiny for less gold, more down to earth colors

Rufflet/Braviary- tough bird Pokémon for a tough little Air Ashari. Might be a Hisuian Braviary if Orym's deal with Nana Morri makes him a warlock

Deerling/Sawsbuck (Spring Form) OR Cherubi/Cherrim- for the cherry blossom aesthetic of Zephrah

Petilil/Liligant (Hisuian)- for the dancing fighter from druid town vibes

Pawniard/Bisharp- more soldier vibes. Does not evolve up to Kingambit unless Orym finally feels like a leader instead of a soldier

Treeko/Grovyle/Sceptile- guys with grass blades and Treeko's a little climber too

Shieldon/Bastiodon- shield Pokémon for our boy with a shield

Buneary/Lopunny- bouncing bunnies for a man who bounces and feels he'd be a were-bunny if he got to choose a were-critter

Fearne

Growlithe/Arcanine- fluffy fire "wolves." All things Fearne loves

Purrloin/Liepard- thieving cats for our thieving faun

Klefki- a Fairy-type that's a bit of a collector, just like Fearne, if more focused than her

Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape- more fire monkeys for Fearne

Pansear/Simisear (Shiny)- more fire monkeys for Fearne. Shiny for Pansear's orange coloration

Sprigatito/Floragato/Meowscrada- tricky grass cats with some fluff

Shroomish/Breloom- for her disregard for the danger of mushrooms and because they're cute

Teddiursa/Ursaring/Ursaluna (Shiny)- Teddiursais small cute and fluffy, and up at Ursaluna there's a moon connection for being lightly Ruidusborn. Shiny for the moss-covered look of Teddiursa and Ursaring. Also Sweet Pea reference?

Budew/Roselia/Roserade- more pretty, poisonous flowers

Salazzle- hot fire mama Pokémon for a hot fire druid with a baby boy/fire monkey

Imogen

Ponyta/Rapidash- more horses for Imogen. Also, Kantonian Rapidash looks better than Galarian (in my opinion)

Raichu (Alolan)- Psychic and Electric-type, need I say more?

Espurr/Meowstic (Female, Shiny)- a Pokémon with psychic control issues as Espurr and a ruthless streak as Meowstic. Shiny for a more pinkish Espurr and yellow-scarfed Meowstic

Cleffa/Clefairy/Clefable- moon Pokémon with psychic powers

Lunatone- more psychic moon Pokémon

Mareep/Flaffy/Ampharos- more Electric-types for Imogen, and also sort of farm-related to reflect her roots

Munna/Munsharna- psychic dream Pokémon with a better aesthetic for Imogen than Drowzee/Hypno

Psyduck- psychic headaches, just like Imogen

Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle- another Psychic-type, except this one's aesthetic reminds Imogen of Laudna

Laudna

Zorua/Zoroak (Hisuian)- ghostly Pokémon of the north, fitting for a ghost of Whitestone. Also the cuddliness of Zorua calls to Laudna

Froslass- more northern ice ghosts. And a little witchy too

Vullaby/Mandibuzz- wears bones and Mandibuzz takes care of little vullaby babies/kids

Cubone/Marowak (Alolan)- Cubone mourn their lost mother, like Laudna (maybe?) misses hers. And set it on fire as Marowak for the Fireball spell. Also, bone Pokémon

Sinistea/Polteageist OR Polchageist/Sinistcha- Sinistea line definitely has that Ladies of Whitestone vibe, but Polchageist has the fix-it folklore. Definitely lean more toward Sinsitea line though

Joltik/Galvantula- spiders for Mis Creepy and a little Shocking Grasp electricity

Spinarak/Ariados- more creepy spiders

Phantump/Trevenant (Shiny)- for the tree-like Form of Dread. Shiny for pale wood and red leaves which are Laudna colors

Paras/Parasect- for the mindcontrol by something parasitizing off of them mushrooms, much like how Delilah parasitizes her

Greavard/Houndstone- ghost doggo!

Absol- a "hound" of ill omen, it probably warns Laudna to skip town before the mobs come

FCG

Rotom- ghost in the machine for a soul in a machine. Also, can you imagine it possessing FCG's oven? And the pun for Mow Rotom

Raltz/Kirlia/Gardevoir (Shiny)- empath Pokémon with psychic powers who dislikes conflict. Shiny to match FCG's coat being blue

Klink/Klang/Klinklang- gear Pokémon for the little machine boi

Audino- another Pokémon center helper and healer from the anime

Indeedee (Male)- another empath Pokémon

Bronzor- it's a coin! From the Changebringer!

Iron Valient- robot-like Gardevoir/Gallade mix for a robit that has a Gardevoir

Morpeko- it's cute and switches to a rage mode if it doesn't take care of itself (disregarding game mechanic of constant switch for flavor text of only when not properly fed)

Meltan- little metal buddies for the little metal boi

Ashton

Roggenrola/Boldore/Gigalith- rocks and crystals Pokémon for the rocks and crystals boi

Grotle/Torterra- would receive as a child in Hishari. Turtwig being a Grass-type is a nod to the druidic leanings of Hishari, while Torterra's "tortise with the world on its back" leans a bit more titans as rulers/guardians/makers of the world

Nacli/Naclstack/Garganacl (Shiny)- salty, as Ashton's attitude is sometimes. Also very sandstone strata in looks as a shiny

Sableye- attracted to Ashton's crystal hair and they just never could get rid of it. At least it's good for helping with stealing stuff

Obstagoon- it's one of the punk-est Pokémon aesthetically

Gible/Gabite/Garchomp- bitey dragon landshark, especially now that Ashton can Earth Glide

Great Tusk- ancient, a little earthy, and the predecessor to rolling wheel Pokémon Donphan, which is probably a not unpopular Pokémon in Bassuras

Rhyhorn/Rhydon/Rhyperior- mostly for Rhyhorn's "keep charging forward" attitude that Ashton tries to do emotionally

Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon (Shiny)- another angry rampager Pokémon. Shiny so it's green like Ashton

Submas Hydreigon Hybrids Headcanons

Submas twins but they are Hydreigon Hybrids living on a cool mountain, what are they like

2 Guys. Six mouths. Weird undulating tendril wing arms and other strange draconic features.

⎊ They have normal human skin colors, but strange dark purple and blue and black markings on their bodies. The weird markings on their stomachs are strangely sensitive to touch as well, and they’ll keel over hissing and chirping if you start tickling them there.

⎊ The weirdest characteristic is the fact they have mouths on their hands- The mouths are not capable of eating anything, but they can taste and chew and inject prey with venom- that is also a convenient aphrodisiac to mates, and (in small doses) to humans.

⎊ They have fluffy black fur coating their bodies, and dramatic, sharp black markings around their beautiful silver eyes. Both of them have what looks like a mane of purple and black fur (Like the weird pruple crown thing around their heads) They have very sharp fangs and larger tongues than normal as well; their tongues are also a much deeper red/pink than human’s are.

⎊ Emmet has terrible control over the mouths on his hands, and wears thicker gloves so his hands can’t chew through them- Ingo just wears gloves because his mouths have a bad reaction of latching onto anything he tries to grab, and he hates getting “mouthfuls” of random stuff he’s holding- bark from tree branches is unpleasant, if he grabs at the ground he gets dirt in his mouths- and then has to fly off to rinse his mouths with water.

⎊ Their “wings” are prehensile and strong, and they will wrap them and their tails around their mates, especially during the night or when they are in heat.

⎊ Hydreigons are much more aggressive than other dragon hybrids and like to bite their mates aggressively, as well as hold them down- Their saliva is part poisonous, part aphrodisiac- a little goes a long way and can make pain feel pleasurable.

⎊ Hydreigon hybrids, and most dark type hybrids, live solitary lives, or dwell among their own kind away from humans and other hybrids. Dark types and Ghost types are seen as evil or terrifying beings- and given how aggressive Hydreigon hybrids are, those stereotypes are probably keeping some people safe.

⎊ Their main courtship method is through battle and hunting- In cases like Ingo and Emmet’s where they’ve taken the same mate, they get very aggressive with each other when they start experiencing heat, and typically both fly off from their nest and you to either beat each other up, or have a hunting competition- Taking out their violent urges on poor prey pokemon rather than each other. Emmet gets excessively whiny if you don’t like whatever he managed to catch you- He’s slightly smaller and more impatient than Ingo is during these times, and just wants you to praise him and hold him and tell him he won, okay?

⎊ Their nests are filled with bones and hides of previously caught prey. Ingo and Emmet’s nest is particularly spectacular, due to both of them taking up the same nest together; It’s large and decorated with silky and perfectly preserved furs of wild pokemon of all sorts, as well as random shiny treasures and trinkets they find while out hunting- And a lot of skulls and bones. Hydreigon hybrids like to make jewelry out of bones as well, and Mandibuzz will often show up to try to steal the well-preserved bones for their own nests, though they must be careful lest they end up the next decoration in the Hydreigon’s lair…

⎊ You will receive pretty bone jewelry and shiny rocks- Probably evolutionary stones they find or things like pearls or stardust or star pieces since they live on a mountain. They like seeing you wear them, though they think their bite marks on your neck and shoulders look infinitely more pretty than any jewelry or clothing ever would.

⎊ They seek a human mate because they like human’s comparitively gentle natures- If they’ve chosen you as a mate, you’ve probably cooed and awed over their strength, appearance, and prowess as hunters and generally inflated both of their egos to the point of bursting- And both of them adore it. They also want a mate who can cook. Hybrids don’t live near humans or have many human technologies/home comforts, and once as young Deino hybrids they were given roasted, seasoned meat from a human village- And they’ve been addicted ever since. If you can cook, they probably won’t let you leave- They’ll bring you anything and everything you could ever want, just- don’t stop cooking for them. Please.

⎊ Since they were Deino hybrids, they must have been Zweilous hybrids at one point, right? Do not ask how being a Zweilous hybrid works- Emmet and Ingo just shudder at the memories. Ingo will insist hybrids don’t grow the extra head, but Emmet will neither confirm nor deny such a statement.

⎊ Part of their courting rituals involves hunting for their chosen mate- If the mate accepts, she’ll eat the prey brought before her. If you’ve accepted some meat from either of the twins, congratulations- You now have a husband or two.

⎊  You were wondering why Ingo was staring at you with such rapt attention while you prepared and cooked the Bouffalant he’d brought you; After you took a few bites he was suddenly on top of you, his black wings wrapping around you like chains and grasping you tightly as he sunk his claws into you, a deep growl mixing with chirping noises leaving his throat as you felt the mouths on his hands licking and biting at your arms and sides-

Oh no.

Unfortunately, remembering Hydreigon Hybrid courtship rituals after you’ve completed one of their main ones is probably the wrong time to remember- and they’re very aggressive once they’ve chosen a mate, so have fun!

⎊ Emmet does the same, but his hands immediately jump to biting you very aggressively. As well as his main mouth- He just can’t help himself, he’s just so happy you’ve accepted his offering! By the time he’s finished with you you’re going to be really sore and heavily bite-marked, and in the worst case possibly bleeding a little- Unless you can start tickling him. He’s much more sensitive than Ingo is and you’ll be able to knock him off and have him keeling over on the ground in agonizing ticklish pain if you start jabbing at his weird tire-track markings on his stomach. If he does get you bloody at all, he’ll start licking at your wounds, soothing you and half-whimpering an apology- It’s a darn good thing he keeps those little pet Joltiks and Galvantulas for their silk. even though i said i wasn't going to, i ended up shiny hunting for an all-shiny team to play through the new pokemon scarlet teal mask dlc! :D meet aske the gallade, chiyoh the sinistcha, syrup the dipplin, laz the munchlax, marrow the mandibuzz aaaand crossbun the heracross! i love this lil gang so much and am so hype to progress further in the actual plot now dkfldskg

i'm gonna ramble about how each of my hunts for these pkmn went under the cut! :3c there'll be no plot spoilers because i have pretty much only scratched the surface of that!

ok so... syrup the dipplin was the first shiny that i collected for this team! i got her in a random applin outbreak a few weeks before the dlc dropped. i wasn't sure what to evolve her into (or if to just keep her as an applin), so i ended up procrastinating on that... but i realized that she was the perfect candidate for my teal mask team, since dipplin is a brand new pkmn. i generally don't keep track of encounters during outbreaks, but she showed up really fast! i was worried that i'd miss her since applin is SO small, and it's also green so it tends to blend into the grass ;_; either way, i caught her in a luxury ball o7

the second shiny i got was laz the munchlax! munchlax has been a dream shiny of mine so i was extremely hype to take this hunt on. ik it's on the more subtle side, but i think the rich, darker blue is really cute on munchlax, and a shiny is a shiny, u know? i started it off in pkmn shield a few days before the dlc dropped, since the pkmn twitter posted a screenshot with a munchlax in it hehe. i decided to try for a moon ball munchlax via the masuda method (somehow i have a TON of special apricorn pokeballs in shield?!?! we were eatin good back then wtf). i ended up going over-odds in shield for munchlax the NIGHT that the dlc dropped... i'm not sure about the exact number, but i was definitely over 512. once that happened, i transfered the parent snorlax over to scarlet and resumed the hunt over there, since i figured it'd be more fun to explore the new region as i hatched eggs. i hatched roughly 150 more of them before laz hatched on egg 668! (i also got the item finder mark on him, so his full title is 'laz the treasure hunter' - sooo cute. ;_;)

after laz, i decided to try for some more outbreak shinies, since i thought those would be quick and easy. by full odds standards, they totally were!!! but by outbreak standards, i def faced... a few little challenges! LDFGKD;GK

the morning after the dlc dropped, i had a ralts outbreak so i figured i'd go for another dream shiny of mine - gallade. that'd mean finding a male ralts, since gallade is gender-specific. i tried to hunt for a male ralts back in legends arceus and ended up finding a female one as well as a female kirlia, so i figured that i'd have some better luck in another game. i ended up finding FIVE more female ralts before finally getting a male one as ralts #8. i caught him in a net ball and named him 'aske' after a character in the dnd campaign that i'm in with my friends!! iykyk!!! LSDKFDSLKG but i really do enjoy catching pkmn that are themed after other characters so i'm totally thrilled to have this gallade!!! ;v;

shortly after nabbing aske, i got marrow the mandibuzz during a vullaby outbreak! this shiny was such a standard fun little outbreak shiny - i knocked out around 60 vullabies and she turned up very quickly after that. i think if you have the teal mask dlc and enjoy outbreak shiny hunting, the paradise barrens portion of the map is gonna be really, really good for them, since theres barely anything to obscure the pkmn that are outbreaking (and there's no grass, so there's like, no lag at all LMFAO). i caught the beloved lil birdy in a luxury ball.

after marrow came home so fast, i was emboldened, so i started my hunt for chiyoh the sinistcha(/poltchageist). i decided to see if i could get an artisan poltchageist outbreak to trigger, since, at the time, there were rumours about all-artisan outbreaks - and i suceeded in doing so!!! but then i couldn't find a shiny like... at all... to the point that i was genuinely wondering if it was glitched or something. i hunted in it for a full day and by that point i was like, Convinced that something was wrong, so i ended up giving up on that outbreak. i now realize that the shiny is REALLY subtle, though, so it's possible that i walked right past SEVERAL and didn't know... but i was being ridiculously careful when i hunted it, so i'm honestly not sure about that. anyway, while i was looking for the shiny poltchageist, i phased on TWO different heracrosses. i love heracross' shiny SO MUCH that i succumbed and decided to add one to my team! and that heracross ended up being named crossbun!

by that time, i decided that i didn't really care about having an artisan or counterfeit version of the poltchageist shiny (and tbh i kinda agree with the notion that artisan outbreaks sort of ruin the appeal of hunting down a rare forme), so i ended up doing a few encounter power sandwiches instead. when i finally ran into the shiny, it was huge relief LMAO. chiyoh was my 6th team member, so, with that, my teal mask team was complete! o7

i gave everyone mints, hyper trained them and ev trained them (using lots of mochi from the new ogre oustin' game hehe) and they're now ready to take on the plot! ik that it's definitely not all that necessary to build a team from scratch for the dlc but i had a blast doing it. the time i spent gathering these pals and exploring kitakami was really special. i'm definitely planning on doing this again for the indigo disc dlc!
