oof thanks a bunch, pal! right?? logically i know there’s very little wiggle-room in ensemble movies like avengers for them to have bonding moments outside of battle -- or the one (1) party in aou -- but a girl can dream, LOL.

especially just focussing on mcu, there’s so much to talk about in the way both thor and steve are introduced as out of place / out of time; about how thor can, and can choose, to go home where steve can’t, but both of them move forward in order to find a new home on earth / in the 21st century anyway; about their feelings on duty, and sacrifice, and being responsible for the lives under their charge or their command (thor as king or king-to-be; steve as the leader of the avengers or as a commanding officer). even a scene, deleted or not, with thor pulling steve aside after ultron first attacks them to discuss what happened with mjölnir at the party, would’ve been a nice touch.
