as in, since things wouldn't be playing out the exact same, that there'd def be things that simply wouldn't be built the same as they are in-game. i can't confidently say what, exactly, though, since idk 100% what was a result of post-archon war things and what wasn't. like- maybe say wangsheng – without plagues to follow the war it is entirely possible wangsheng won't be as big and as honored an organization as it's supposed to be in-game (hu tao's marketing aside). but it's also entirely possible that, since i'm sure it's going to form anyway, that childe will set aside the exact same plot in the city as they had in-game even though the new liyue harbor might not first think of wangsheng as a group that deserves such a privileged spot. like- they won't fight childe on it (will probably go "really?.... okay then, sure, why not"), but had it been up to them alone, they would've likely set the parlor somewhere in the outskirts of the city. stuff like that i think glaze lilies in the city also. if they don't vanish from dihua then i think people would see no point in trying to grow them in the harbor (since it's apparently no easy task? i can't recall rn) and would instead fill everything with silkflowers. but since ajax has it ingrained in his brain that there have to be glaze lilies in the city, they'd probably plant them regardless. also other random things like maybe more water fixtures and very vague references to the original timeline.

you guys seemed to really like my medic steve, so i decided to expand on it. apparently im not the first person to think of this concept, and i think its so funny we all collectively saw this violent teenage boy who punches everything and were like “what if he did the opposite of that” lmao. some notes:

-this is what i imagine his outfit for wizards would be. he still hangs out with the knights, but thats becasue hes a medic who keeps having to patch them up during the tournament and stuff

-i imagine a running gag where everyone in the past thinks steve is a medical genius bc he knows about things like washing your hands before doing a medical procedure and boiling water to purify it. a big chunk of his arc would be about him liking to feel like hes smart and not wanting to leave the past bc he feels special there since he has so much more knowledge than them.

-the longer hair is for two reasons: 1) its in some concept art and i thought it was cute, 2) in the rewrite of TOA that lives in my head theres a timeskip between the end of 3below and wizards, so it also shows the progression of time, and represents how steve has changed since the beginning of 3below.
