HOLY SHIT I didn't even think about this! Cause jesus, it really has been a fucking merch wasteland broken up only by the fiery circles of Ebay hell. It kinda was even when Daredevil was actually running tbh, they never really bothered to pump that gear out or else my Netflix DD shrine would be a LOT larger LOL. But we've definitely been reduced to biting and clawing and paying out the nose for what little we could find.

As someone who volunteers at a thrift shop, we're actually pretty happy thrifting is coming back in a big way. We have so much stuff stored that we either have to throw things out or pay to store them. We use the money from selling these goods to help by paying people's rent, bills, and groceries. It's better for everyone if more people buy thrifted goods. There's no shortage of second hand clothing, but we do need the money from selling them to help in other ways.

i didn’t say i had a problem with thrifting, i said i hate resellers, like the people that people make money off going to thrift stores, buying nice items that are inexpensive, then just sell the item themselves for a profit. it’s scummy as hell
