Here is a smaller background quickly produced in a couple of days. There are 2 versions of each background in this scene so that the light can flicker from the flame in the lamp.
I've now started development on my first short film From Crocs to Frogs. So far, I implemented the opening titles and imported a couple of fonts that suit my style while following carefully on the Fade In feature (Thanks to Aaron Blaise who helped out on how I was able to double check if it was working). Later on, I'll be starting the first scene that will take place in both Blockbuster Video* and my house, where it involves my newly discovered love. And y'all definitely know who he is!
*Yes, the actual Blockbuster Video store I went during the 90's. Think I might score myself a reanimated commercial featuring the one I must have found about video games or... somethin'.
Hello all, so here is another addition of a minute of the short film we did a few years back. It was made under the theme of the 48 hours challenge. This is a work in progress since we could not edit it in time, and it was only for fun so there was less pressure. More to come, hopefully, a minute at a time :) and the sound still needs work :/ Still
you can see how much more budget the last few vhs films had, and while i miss the simplicity of the first one, i'm not complaining either - the series comes across like a huge playground that everyone seems to have fun with & i like that they use different directors for every installment
GUESS WHAT??? I FINALLY FINISHED SCENE 4/10 OF SINKING ROAD!!! 🤡
I am terribly sorry it took so long this time!! Lots of things happened this month, I promise I worked on it almost everyday though, just mind VERY FULL!!
Testing how the final look of my latest short film may work. In this test I’ve rendered everything from Blender at 1080p with Cycles, upscaled it to 4K using Topaz Video AI, and then blurred & added film grain within Adobe After Effects.
What do you think?
Since I'm on an Intel based MacBook Pro, with its rendering limitations, I think this is probably about as good as I can get this without having to rely on a render farm.
An animated test short for Colonel Bleep is in development! The script and storyboard are all set but progress for animation on Procreate and Procreate Dreams has barely started.
Stay tuned the following Friday for future updates.
