Another Bitsy game from me! This time you play as a delivery drone in a ruined city. It takes place in the same world as Grow Light, with a little cameo, but can be played on its own. Playtime is around 5 minutes. Music by Laurent Désautels-Séguin.

Witch Blood (Neo-Twiny Jam entry)
Tumblr media
Play the incredibly short game here.
Description: Your sister is dead and you're to blame. How far will you go to bring her back? In Witch Blood, you'll encounter death, despair and tainted magic. It's only a matter of time before you give into the darkness that grips your soul. Are you willing to lose yourself to resurrect your sister?
Please note that this game is intended for older audiences and contains mentions of blood, death and elements of horror.
This is my game entry for Neo-Twiny Jam (@neo-twiny-jam)
Notes: I had a lot of fun writing the game, which took less than a day. The hard part was sticking to a word count at 500 words or less. I eventually managed to trim it down to 496 words, though the game feels shorter than that. The game is loosely based on an incomplete novel I had written years ago and serves more as a proof of concept for a possible future game. I hope you enjoy what little there is to play ❤

(not so) Strangers in the Night
Starting 2024 with another short IF piece, created for the SeedComp!, ShuffleComp, and the Zach Jam. It was inspired by the song Lola + Joseph by July Talk (YouTube).
Zach and Irene decide to play a little game tonight. What could go wrong with pretending to be strangers… ?
Content Warning: Not super NSFW, but it has a make-out scene at the end. Car sound, mention of alcohol, self-deprecation
Play it on itch.io:

The Girl and the Kelpie
After much blood, sweat and tears my visual novel is finally done and launched on itch.io!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Trigger Warning: This visual novel does not feature any graphic depictions of death but it does discuss grief and the after effects of loss. Reader discretion is advised.)
Summary:
A short visual novel about one little girl’s reaction to grief.
When Katie goes to stay with her Grandma during a difficult period in her life, she meets an unexpected creature on the beach.
The Kelpie is an infamous water-horse from folklore. Dangerous or friendly depending on the story, its capricious nature is no different here.
Depending on the choices made, Katie will embrace her ultimate fairy tale fantasy or confront her greatest fear.
-------------------------
AN: I'm very much a rookie at this so I apologise for any mistakes. I hope you're able to enjoy it regardless! Also sorry I couldn't get Tyranobuilder's browser option to work, the game is only playable on Windows.
Download for Windows here:

PINK PRO – [PINK]Y [PRO]MISE – DEMO released 🍨
Pink Pro - [Pink]y [Pro]mise - is the union of "the pink-colored game" and "the sweets-themed game" that I've wanted to make for ages. All with a smattering of yuri and monster girls to garnish.
The demo covers the first ten or twenty minutes. It depends on how much and what you want to read.
«Chantal and Janet are the two best bakers in Rhodopolis. Once rivals, they are now engaged, but they continue to have separate and competing businesses. Accompany Chantal, meet customers' tastes, search for the right ingredients to create customized sweets and defeat Janet! ... At least until Janet is kidnapped by one of her clients.»
You can find it at these coordinates:
🍰 Available on Itch.io (Click me! Click me!) 🍰 In English and Italian 🍰 Features an all-female cast, a lot of sweets and a lot of pink 🍰 Major warnings are sort of body horror and, for the full version, abduction, attempted choking, hatred for "the different one" that can be interpreted as racism or homophobia 🍰 4.000+ words (Flavour texts and NPCs included) 🍰 About twenty minutes of reading, walking simulator and cooking minigame
I hope you like it!

TO SWAT A FLY
For four years, the Red Valley County in Arizona was haunted by a shadowy serial killer with mysterious methods of murder. Even three years after her arrest, the "Red Valley Reaper" Mel Atkinson has refused to speak a word to the press-- until today. You've managed to get yourself an exclusive interview with the high-profile prisoner. The question is-- can you ask the right questions and make it through?
A short indie horror visual novel game featuring 1000 words, 3 endings, and facts about insects for some reason. Check it out!

Five Games Under Five Hours You Should Play
I've only been playing video games regularly for the past 5 or 6 years (if you don't count my hundreds of hours in Pokemon White and Nintendogs) and I find that committing to a long game can feel like such a drag. Why should I start playing The Witcher 3, a game that will take hundreds of hours to finish, when I could just play Animal Crossing again? Through this thought process, I've come across many short games that are up to 5 hours long that I love and I wanted to share them. These are in no particular order.
Tumblr media
1. THE GARDENS BETWEEN
You play as two neighbours unravelling their memories through cool time manipulation mechanics. The graphics are absolutely beautiful and just adds to the overall tone of the game. For anyone who likes a bit of a puzzle and heartwarming human relationships. [3 hours - Switch, PS4, Steam, Xbox One]
Tumblr media
2. A SHORT HIKE
Play as a dubious penguin trying to climb a mountain for phone signal. Complete tasks for other people on the mountain to reach the peak and explore the beautiful sights. This 3D pixel art style is not one seen often in gaming right now and it's a refreshing change. While only a very short game I expect I will revisit just to explore the island again. [1 hour - Steam]
Tumblr media
3. PIKUNIKU
You play as a ??? in a capitalist world hellbent on destroying an island to build a new industrial town. Your job is to save them all. A wonderful and silly adventure where you play watermelon basketball and run away from attacking toast. Happy little game! [3 hours - Switch, Xbox One, Steam]
Tumblr media
4. FLORENCE
Despite being the shortest on this list, this game is by far my favourite. Florence is about a former artist struggling to regain her creativity while stuck in a dead-end job. It's beautifully illustrated, animated, and scored and as a creative, I totally understand the feeling of not being motivated to do what you love. If you don't play anything else on this list, play Florence! [less than 1 hour - iOS, Android, Steam, Switch]
Tumblr media
5. JOURNEY
Many people have likely heard or played this game before but it is scheduled to release for the first time on PC so many people will soon be playing it for the first time. Journey is exactly what it says it is. You play a fairly unknown character as they climb up to the peak of a mountain. Somehow without a word of dialogue and with the music and visuals alone, you feel the emotions of the character. An absolutely fantastic game [2 hours - PS4]
Most of these games have been sat in my game library waiting to be played for so long and finally playing them and finding out I'd had this great game sitting there was somewhat annoying. So I encourage everyone to play that game you bought 6 years ago in a Steam sale that is still in your library dying to be played because it might be better than you think.

So after fighting for months to include an ad banner in the game I've made I suddenly realised that for a first time project it was...not worth it at all? :'D
Long story short:
I published Bomb di fé on itch.io
Ad free
Tumblr media
It's a silly little text based game that I made to fiddle with phone input (like gyroscope and compass). I WAS going to publish it on google play but I made the mistake of submitting the ad version first, and now Google don't believe me when I try to say I removed ads from it TT even worse it won't let me delete the ad version I already submitted. So until I resolved that it's just available on itch.io
It's an android game, from what I tested it looks low-key ugly on tablet but still works :') small victories

Still not officially back, but whip up something for the Partim500
I got to test out Chapbook with it... It's a fine format for beginners (kinda like Harlowe, but even more basic imo), esp for when you want to do something quick and have a fancy looking page. I still prefer SugarCube by a mile :P

You have to cook, okay, but how do you have to cook? With Venka's Crafting Script!
I loved this script from the first time I saw it - I even replay the demo from time to time as if it were an actual game. So I promised myself that I would use it, sooner or later, and here it is!
The only thing, is it seems like I can't change the green of the button and it looks terrible but-
Obviously, there aren't just three recipes, it's that I made the screenshot when I started implementing them in the script. After a moment of panic due to the amount of instructions and add-ons, it's actually not a difficult script. (… At least for now.)
Obviously part 2, the text of the English version will be in English. Except for the names of the recipes, which will remain in French - "Chantal" is a French name, so her recipes also have French names. *Logic!*
(From the ingredient icons you can already imagine that these are not the recipes you already know. But, given the population, does this surprise you?)
