she is the one to seal ganondorf in an intentionally cruel way to take revenge for him killing rauru

she also had a daughter from a previous marriage that she named Zelda after an ancient legend from long forgotten times; while she technically had both time and light powers, she could only take ahold of one (struggeling to grasp a certain power you are pressured to awaken reference ;) ) which is time, it was not the one she was supposed to manifest as her status was always associated with light, in her younger years she was often looked down upon but despite that later proved to be a capable leader

shortly after her first marriage was ended rauru and the rest of the remaining sonau (engl zonai) came from the underground to warn the folks living on the surface from a great evil that was told about in ancient texts they had found while mining desperately for the stones they had grown reliant on for survival

this warning later evolves into the plan to seal ganondorf away before he could even become a threat, through all those discussion and planning sonia and rauru grew closer and eventually married; the plan was to be executed in secret to give ganondorf no time to even consider to reveal what demon they believed he really was, but the secret got out and ganondorf enacted a counterattack in the form of stealing one of the enigma stones in order to put pressure on the hyrulian kingdom, but he gets betrayed by the gerudo that will be their sage in the last confrontation, however in the time that the gerudo sage takes to warn sonia and mobilize to save rauru ganondorf has already confronted him and though he did not plan to kill him he does so, more on accident really, as rauru did not listen to a single word he said but instead acted erratic like a helpless man trapped in a cage with a hungry bear, essentially starting a fight of life and death

when sonia arrives at the scene it is already to late; thanks to the enigma stone ganondorf can escape her grief-striken rage but sonia is out for revenge and sees him killing rauru as proof of the warnings of old, she wages war and at the end seals ganondorf in a cruel cage between life and death, even at the cost of her own life

her daughter, having witnessed it all, grows up bitter and determined to make hyrule a kingdom that will never fall again

i have a neurologist appointment in about a month that i'm quite nervous about due to previously being dismissed/not having my concerns listened to, so gonna post this to ask for some advice on getting Taken Seriously or if anyone knows things about the type of condition i might have about what i should be asking them to do/test.

might be quite long so putting it under a read more, and tw for medical stuff and doctors being dismissive. also i am So So Tired and therefore not able to think very clearly so apologies if i've messed up any of the medical info about conditions i mention and apologise just generally for the rambliness of my writing.

summary of why i'm going:

bunch of disabling symptoms that have continually progressed over the past 5+ years, including: muscle weakness, fatigue, muscle twitches/small spasms, nerve pain, blurry vision, lack of coordination (have this from autism, however has gotten significantly worse recently so might also be related to neuro stuff). first symptoms were difficulty having my arms over my head (like having to take multiple breaks while putting my hair into a ponytail because i couldn't hold my arms over my head for the like.. three minutes to do a ponytail) and blurry vision (that optometrist has said seems like might be due to a systemic disease because of how variable it is) since i was 13, which was seven years ago. i started getting more impairing symptoms when i was 15, and began needing a wheelchair for anything that required standing or walking for more than 10 - 15 minutes. i'm currently 20 and need my wheelchair whenever i leave the house, i can't leave the house or do things around the house often, i can stand for a max of like four minutes and can't hold my hands above my head for more than like 30 seconds to one minute. pretty much all my symptoms get a lot worse with any exertion.

GP thinks i have myasthenia gravis, but the test for acetylcholine receptor antibodies was negative and he doesn't have the ability to do other tests.

the neurologist has already said he thinks i have functional neurological disorder and that i should do CBT and pysio to improve my functioning (i already know CBT is horrible for me, i'm in other therapy which is good, i've done some psyio before but she just taught me some stretches and that was it, more psyio could be good but it'd have to be with someone who isn't trying to do a graded exercise therapy type thing since i get PEM). he has mentioned doing a spine MRI but this hasn't been done yet. he said he doesn't want to do further testing for myasthenia gravis but i will probably try to get him to agree to doing a repetitive nerve stimulation EMG or something.

i also have scapular winging on the side of my body with worse muscular symptoms which has also caused a lot of nerve pain, and i might also have some sort of spine issues (straightening of cervical lordosis was seen on a CT scan, they said it was probably due to muscle spasms, and i get a lot of neck pain which might be due to that? as well as a ton of back pain along my spine. might have CCI but haven't been tested yet). since it seems like i'm getting some structural changes in areas where i also get a lot of the pain and weakness and spasms i'm hoping if i bring that up the neurologist might maybe look more at organic causes + the state of those structural changes but i dunno.

he did a basic neurological exam in my initial appointment with him and said that i have give way weakness/waxing and waning weakness because when he got me to do the pushing my limbs against resistance i could do okay for a couple seconds but couldn't maintain it. he also said in the letter that i had positive hoovers sign however i am.. very confused by this because from my understanding hoovers sign is mainly looked at when someone has one limb that's at least somewhat "normal" and one that either can't be moved or is very weak, and then the person can't move the weak leg but when asked to push the stronger leg against resistance they push the weak leg down. both my legs are strong enough that i can stand and whilst one leg is a bit weaker they're relatively similar. i lifted and pushed against resistance with both legs so.... i am not sure how hoovers is applicable here? does anyone know why it was applied and if that was correct or if i should be challenging that? he's saying that the give way weakness and positive hoovers are indicators that the problem is "non-organic" and therefore should be treated with CBT and pysio.

i'm not sure what i think is actually going on. i think myasthenia gravis might make sense, but also so could other neuromuscular diseases like a mitochondrial disease or something. also very possible it's myalgic encephalomyelitis (aka chronic fatigue syndrome) but obviously that one is a diagnosis of exclusion so i want to rule other things out if possible. i want to know what's going on so i can have the best chance of being as well as is possible for me. i know CBT is not right for me and whilst some type of pysio could help a bit/prevent some decline (based on past experience i know it won't Cure Me but obviously it can help a bit to build some muscle or maintain range of motion and things like that which are important) if there's other things i can do on top of that i want to.

i've tried to do research to work out the best tests to ask for and i think EMG might be good but also know a normal EMG doesn't typically pick up myasthenia gravis so it needs to also have repetitive nerve stimulation i think?

i can't see a different neurologist at least not anytime soon, so i need to get this neurologist to do as much to help as possible. a social worker from where i get therapy is coming to the appointment to help me so that should be good but i need to work out what the best way to advocate for myself is and what tests are going to be the most useful to ask for.

if anyone has any advice for getting doctors to take you seriously or for any tests i should be advocating for or conditions i should be looking into or anything i would really appreciate it <3 (emoticon description: heart)

when ppl do parallels of the wittebane brothers with hunter and luz, hunter always parallels caleb and luz always parallels phillip and i know its bc luz looks and dresses more like phillip and hunter is literally calebs clone but!!!

every sibling pair weve explored in the show has a sibling who ran off to live their best life because they didn’t fit into polite society, and another sibling who had to live in the shadow of the first sibling, leading them to become a huge attention whore who makes a point of how well they fit into polite society to cope.

like almost EVERY pair of siblings have this dynamic. the most obvious is eda and lilith, but there’s also luz and vee. i’ve speculated about mattholomule and steve here. if you squint, you can even say edric and emira are both the ones who disregarded expectations to do whatever they want, while amity became the “overachieving good kid” to get attention. and phillip and caleb, especially with what we know about them now, DEFINITELY fits that bill. caleb was obviously the one who abandoned his life in the human world because he fell in love with a witch. meanwhile phillip spent 350 years to Get The Best Grade Ever In Witchhunting, because after caleb left, what else did he have?

(the only sibling pair that doesn’t really fit this dynamic is luz and king. although that’s probably just because i haven’t thought too much about their dynamic lol if anyone has luz & king brainrot like i have luz & hunter brainrot feel free to correct me)

but anyway, like in her relationship with vee, luz is obviously the one in the luz and hunter sibling pair to abandon her life because she couldn’t fit in. she’s the one who was led to the demon realm by the palisman of a clawthorne like caleb was. she takes the lead every time she goes on an adventure with hunter, even if hunter does more of the action stuff. she has a loving family in both worlds, and falls in love with a witch. she has a fascination with the culture of the boiling isles and its magic, and commits to living there because of that fascination

hunter, however, was the one raised to believe in the merits of hunting witches. young phillip latched onto the identity of witch hunter, because outside of caleb, he had no family. he had no social support without this identity. likewise, hunter latched onto the attention and purpose afforded by the golden guard position because it was an identity granted by belos, HIS only family, in a world where hunter’s lack of magic meant an otherwise meaningless and painful existence. hunter studies wild magic and palismen, but before he left the emperor’s coven, he insisted that the studies was for practical purposes, to fix his uncle’s curse. like phillip, hunter was split between the human and demon realms in thanks to them. he was a lot happier in the human world, but in the end, he still returned to the boiling isles, because his “mission” was more important.

luz never ran away from the stress taking care of a younger sibling, but she had the same sense of adventure and anxiety about her identity and future that caleb probably had. hunter didn’t become desperate to please the adults around him with a persona because he was abandoned by an older brother. but he was overshadowed by belos his whole life, seen as nothing but “the emperor’s nephew” just as phillip was probably seen as nothing but “caleb’s brother.”

their lives echo caleb and phillip’s, but hunter is kinder than phillip and more open minded. luz is more stubborn than caleb and convinced her brother to see reason where caleb’s brother never did. hunter is able to break away from his golden guard persona and decide on his own identity. luz is able to make peace with her life in the human realm and balance it with her life in the demon realm.

belos tried to raise hunter to be a “better version of caleb,” but he ended up raising hunter to be like belos himself. but hunter was able to find his own “better version of caleb” in luz, and became a “better version of phillip” in turn. unlike the wittebane brothers or the clawthorne sisters, luz and hunter’s relationship won’t end in betrayal.

Seeing people arguing that Fantine's plotline is about poverty and THEN prostitution, as if both were not intrinsically intertwined, and regretting the way prostitution is presented in the book because you know, prostitution can be empowering, just not in Fantine's case, makes me want to pull my hair out. We recognize that Fantine loses all autonomy, and that is her tragedy, but not that prostitution precisely is the last stage of this. There are literally people remarking that because she didn't find prostitution empowering, she was in fact - yes, really - raped multiple times a day. That needs to be said. Because prostitution could have been something other.

Framing Fantine's experience as purely subjective and exceptional really goes against everything Hugo aims to demonstrate with Les Misérables.
