Wish we’d get some official art or new models of these demons. I get that Kangiten/Shouten is basically Ganesha, but it’d be nice. Others from Raidou like Kudan or Oboroguruma would be cool since they didn’t get art (I know Oboroguruma is just the car from smt 2, Chris the car I think, but yeah)

The ship has probably long sailed for getting art for non-traditional demon appearances like these. At least art isn't technically needed anymore and there's really nothing stopping either of them from showing up now, perhaps other than Shouten's redundancy. Imagine if Oboroguruma could be reused and reconfigured for Chris the Car in a future game...

Also, milestone: this is my 7500th post! 🥳

uuuh i have given team 2 zero thought beyond the chunin exam. itachi and tori are not currently dating and won't be for a year or two. probably tori is just an extremely weird thing that happens to them that one month, and then she disappears back into the ether

Instincts led her here, having just escaped from those she once called her friends. Rukia, Karin, she had to run or risk hurting them, maybe even killing them. There was no telling what the Hollow part of her might do. Andi struggled against it’s more animalistic impulses. Mania had been relatively easy to work with, but this Hollow, she could feel its voice in her head, it was now a part of the symbiote, and it wanted the power, wanted control, wanted her.

It’s need to feed could not be sated through loopholes like with Mania, it wanted souls, it wanted lives. Andi had already made news headlines, severely injuring or attacking people and putting them in critical conditions. Karakura news outlets were likening the attacks to being mauled by a wild animal.

Having just evaded another shinigami, and barely avoiding feeding, Andi eventually made her way to the Urahara Shouten. Surely Kisuke or Ururu or Tessai would help her? They knew about stuff like this right?

Andi stumbled across the street, grabbing at the edge of her Hollow mask and pulling, feeling it peel off her skin, like she was removing her own face. She screamed in pain, the hollow letting out a howl as she did. Using her will to force it down and take control of herself. Her form began to change back to that of a human, now soaking in the rain, in a ripped up t-shirt and tattered jeans, barefoot. Mania was also being suppressed so, no signature leather jacket or black hoodie.

She heard the doors of the shouten slide open just as she began to lose consciousness, the hollow mask clattering to the ground and shattering, turning to dust and blowing away.

“Haaah...c-c-cold...” She stammered as her face fell against the wet pavement.

in the tradition of the halloween episode and the lamp society episode, i think there should be a bleach filler episode that inexplicably takes place in space and there should be a scene where byakuya causes a massive hull depressurization incident by casting sokatsui inside of their spaceship or space station or whatever even though everyone repeatedly told him not to

not the anon, but i’d like to give my two cents on the topic. 

i believe the reaction is three-fold: one, the fear of replacement- two, the ethical dilemma of using current ai tools for creation- and three, the offense against artists. 

there are value in these tools, but i believe in a hobby 100% about creativity and creative output through graphics, art, and writing there is no place for ai generated content … especially when held as a threat against selectivity. aside from toying these tools for a quick laugh, no one i know has ever considered these ethical or morally responsible tools to replace creativity. 

i don’t think i’d be interested in following or interacting with someone that uses ai for their blog’s creation. i’m here to write and engage with real people, form real communities and connections … not write with chat gpt or reblog generated art. i want to foster genuine creativity, i want to encourage people to pursue art and writing, i want to support ingenuity and exploration. to me, ai replacements are a cheap and easy “out” for anyone not willing or wanting to actually engage in this creatively demanding hobby - that’s my personal offense outside of ethical concerns.
