People be out here calling Natsuo a jock,,, like,,, Where?

Sure he’s built like Endeavor but he didn’t ask for that. This kid’s a freaking Med student, not only did he get into college but he’s studying like an insanely difficult subject and that’s on top of all of the family drama. He works hard, cares about his siblings, and his favorite thing is like,, the ocean.

Shouto on the other hand??

This kid got into an elite school on reccomendation because he was better than everyone else at a freakin obstacle course. He shows up, talks to no one, and wins second place in an event that is their country’s replacement for the OLYMPICS. This is the kid that trains hard every day and only eats carbs, and yall trying to tell me he’s the nerd of the family??? Think again!!!!

Ashido Mina: Can you do one of your impressions, Sero? You're so good at it.
Sero Hanta: Okay, then guess who I am! [inhales] Here goes.
Kaminari Denki: ...TODOROKI!!!
Sero Hanta: Uh... I hadn't started the impression yet...
Todoroki Shouto: [blandly] You will rue the day you mocked me.

  • Dorms weren’t a thing just yet. So you were currently staying at home.
  • You hated home.
  • It was nothing but a pit of hatred, boiling over with your parents’ distaste for your future. They hated that you wanted to become a hero. They hated that you wanted to throw your life away on some whim.
  • “You’re wasting your time. You don’t have any talent.”
  • “You’re pathetic, and that quirk is useless in the hero world.”
  • “Drop out already, you’re being a real pain in the ass.”
  • But you didn’t listen. In fact, you did the opposite. You tried even harder.
  • But that was hard in it of itself.
  • When you and Bakugou got together, you made every excuse to go over. You felt like you were being clingy but you just didn’t want to be home. You didn’t want to hear your parents tease and bully you for chasing your dreams.
  • It was often you found yourself hanging out after school, staying for dinner, hanging out on the weekends, studying together, and eventually, after enough persuading from Bakugou, you could spend the night.
  • “We’re just gonna watch movies!”
  • “You better leave the door open!”
  • “Shut up!” Bakugou yelled back to his mom, bringing you upstairs toward his room. You giggled and walked into his room, now accustomed to his house’s layout.
  • You opened your book bag to pull out some school work. As you opened your binder, a bunch of ripped papers were staring back at you.
  • This can’t be happening.
  • Your parents had taken their frustration with you out on your homework.
  • You’d stopped by to pick up some spare clothes, and in the meantime, they’d ripped and torn your important homework to shreds.
  • You sat on Bakugou’s bed, staring at the tattered fragments of what was supposed to be your math and reading homework.
  • “Hey what happened?” Bakugou asked, looking at the mess of paper.
  • “I-I don’t know.” You lied. Of course, you knew. But you didn’t want to tell him.
  • “Don’t give me that shit.” Bakugou turned to look at you. You looked back at him, your eyes brimming with tears.
  • “Nothing is wrong, I promise.” You lied again. Bakugou frowned and glanced back at your homework.
  • “You expect me to believe that you just tore that up yourself?” Bakugou asked. You shook your head.
  • “It’s just-”
  • “It’s what? You can tell me.” Bakugou wasn’t the one for comforting, but he could tell when things were bothering you. And if something was making you upset, he was going to beat the shit out of whoever or whatever it was.
  • “My parents. They don’t like the idea of me being a hero. They must’ve done this while I was getting spare clothes.” You explained, leaning into Bakugou.
  • “I’ll have my mom make copies on the printer.” Bakugou looked down at his homework. He hadn’t started, so you’d be able to get a nice clean copy.
  • And then everything clicked.
  • “Is this why you always want to come over?” Bakugou asked, not even giving his question a second thought.
  • “Yeah.” You whispered. As a few tears rolled down your cheek, you felt strong arms embrace you.
  • “Don’t ever ask me again if you can come over. You come over whenever you want, okay?” Bakugou rubbed your back. You nodded and lifted your head to look at Bakugou.
  • You smiled at him and poked his nose.
  • “You’re such a softie.” You said quietly, watching as Bakugou rolled his eyes.
  • “Only for you, dumbass.”

  • Shoto is sort of oblivious. But he knows what it’s like when parents pressure you.
  • At first, it was mostly just verbal taunts. Your parents would tease you for wanting to be a hero, and tell you that your quirk was pathetic.
  • But then things got worse.
  • They wouldn’t physically hurt you, but you wondered if they would.
  • The yelling and bullying got worse.
  • It became a daily thing. You’d be trying to make dinner and they’d mess with your things, crumping up your homework, your mom even hid your hero costume one time.
  • You found it a few days later but you had to make up an excuse as to where it went.
  • And then you and Todoroki started dating.
  • You started staying at your house less.
  • Todoroki was convinced you just liked being with him, and he soon had a full dresser drawer of your stuff, shirts, pants, jackets, you name it, it was in that drawer.
  • But then Todoroki noticed while you were using the bathroom, a note on your binder.
  • ‘Just give up already, you should be supporting this family not chasing some stupid dream.’
  • When you got back from the bathroom, you froze, watching as Todoroki read through several notes you had from your parents.
  • “What are these?” Todoroki asked, looking over at you. You quickly scurried over and took them from him.
  • “It’s nothing.” You lied, shoving them back into your bookbag.
  • “They don’t look like nothing.” Todoroki replied. You just shook your head.
  • “Really it’s-”
  • “Is something happening at your house?” Todoroki didn’t have much restraint. He cared for you a lot, so he was willing to get to the bottom of things. And if something was happening like what was happening with his dad and him, he didn’t want you experiencing it.
  • “I-” You paused. You looked down at your lap and sighed.
  • “My parents don’t think I’d make a good hero. They think I’m just chasing some silly dream.” You explain, not wanting to look up at Todoroki.
  • Todoroki pulled you into a hug. You rested your head on his shoulder, snuggling into his warmth.
  • “Why didn’t you tell me?” Todoroki questioned. You didn’t know what to say. You just didn’t want him feeling bad for you.
  • “I don’t know.” Was all you could say. Todoroki hugged you tighter, understanding your pain. How long had you been going through this?
  • “You’re more than welcome to come over whenever you’d like.” Todoroki pulled away looking at you. You nodded and smiled.
  • “Thank you.” You thanked him. Todoroki was your escape.
  • “Do you want some soba?” Todoroki asked, his eyes lighting up.
  • “I would love some soba.”

Pairing: Todoroki Shouto / Daidouji Emiko (OC)

Okay, so this is my first attempt at a multi-chapter fic! I own nothing in here except for the OCs I come up with. I decided to write this instead of posting it on my AO3, as I fear it won’t be received well. This is also why I haven’t written any Todoroki fics yet, as I warmed myself up for this big baby here. I’m hoping you guys enjoy, I’ll just be posting the first chapter for now. If you’d like to read more, or be added to a tag list for any future updates, shoot me an ask! (gif not mine)

The Art of Routine

If you took the train at precisely 10:23 every Sunday morning, went into the first train car, and sat closest to the doors, you would spot the same person every time. You would spot a young girl of average height wearing a pale green dress. It was always a modest number with a crew neckline. The sleeves were short and capped, showing pale yet toned arms. The dress had an A-line skirt that stopped below the knees. Her shoes would be t-strapped heels with golden buckles. They would always be neatly cleaned and polished, and her ankles would be crossed. Her hands, always freshly manicured, would always hold a book of songs. Most ranged in genre—on this particular Sunday it was classic jazz songs from America. Her face was always staring straight ahead at nothing, her hair an ash blonde—and always tied at a low ponytail that draped over one shoulder. On top of her head would be a pink ribbon. Both the pale green of the dress and the pale pink of the ribbon brought out her eyes—another pale green. She did not look like the typical Japanese schoolgirl. On her lap would be a white purse, holding who knew what. If you looked at her, you would see a humble girl with a knack for classic fashion. If you caught her gaze, she would give a soft smile before looking away.

By no means would you suspect the girl sitting on the train was the famous pop star, Emi.

Emi was the newest singer on the J-pop scene, having taken Japan by storm just a year before with her debut single, Kitty Cat. The critics praised her dynamic dance moves (who hadn’t seen the music video in which she was bathing in a martini glass of milk—in a sexy cat costume, no less?!), and above all, they praised her slim physique. Emi was the newest sex symbol of Japan and she was only sixteen years old. Female fans praised her confidence, her ability to have men weak at the knees with a single wink, and all of her adorable outfits! Men—well, it was obvious what they praised Emi for. There was another single over the summer, called Touch, and just recently, her newest album called Changing Faces topped the charts. Emi was the brightest star on the scene.

She was dynamic, wore provocative clothes and had a distinct look: ice blue eyes and a cute birth mark right above her lips. It was difficult to pinpoint Emi’s hair color—she constantly wore different colored wigs depending on the occasion or the single. But the ice blue eyes and the birth mark remained a staple when it came to recognizing Emi if she made her (admittedly rare) public appearances.

So naturally, you would not recognize the girl sitting on the train.

Not in her natural state, anyway. Instead, you would see Emiko Daidouji, a homeschooled teenager with an aptitude for singing. A teenager who constantly took the Sunday morning train so she could make a special visit.

You would not suspect, in the slightest, you were on the same train as Japan’s newest star.

Hey! Can I have some fluffy headcannons for todoroki and Deku wanting to ask their crush out...?

Crush Journal (Todoroki x Reader Midoriya x Reader HCS)

image

Midoriya:

  • He would probably be have to hype himself up for weeks/months/years before he approaches you with the question.
  • He would literally dedicate an entire journal to the occasion. Taking notes on things you have told him you liked, or places you’ve said you would want to go to.
  • He would probably write down a bunch of different “lines” for himself to follow through, too! He practices them alone in his bedroom:
  • He’s got the casual approach: “Hey, remember that sushi place you were talking about the other day? I heard from someone else that it was really good too! Would you maybe want to go sometime?”
  • No that wouldn’t work. That’s too casual. What if you thought it was just two friends hanging out?
  • The suave “Kaminari” approach: “Wow, you’re practically glowing, Y/N! Did you do something new with your hair? Anyway. If I were to ask you out on a date, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?”
  • Izuku would cringe to himself as soon as the words would leave his mouth– like a dead spider withering away in the corner of a living room. He suddenly remembers why Kaminari is single.
  • The straight forward approach: “I really like you, Y/N! You’re cute, and smart, and so so caring! Marry me!!”
  • Okay. He really just needed to get that one out. On to the next!
  • The romantic approach: “You know, Y/N? You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life. If you would let me, I would make you the happiest girl in the world. Let me show you. Just one date.”
  • God, that sounded desperate. Pathetic really.
  • He would for sure practice the different lines and contemplate all of the different ways each of the scenarios would go– all of the ways you might reply to his answers… all of the ways you could reject… him…
  • No! he needed to get that negativity outta his head! He was gonna ask you out.
  • But.
  • One look at your beautiful face as he approaches you would immediately erase any notes his journal had from his racing mind.
  • Oh god, could you see him shaking? He prayed you couldn’t see him shaking.
  • “Midoriya,” you would throw him a concerned glance, “Why are you shaking?”
  • Dammitdammitdammit!
  • Izuku would probably just try to keep his mouth shut. Nothing that would come out of his mouth at this point was bound to be any good–
  • “I was just wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me this weekend, Y/N! It would really mean a lot to me because I think you are the prettiest girl I have ever seen and Iwouldlovetogettoknowyoubetter.” NOOOO Stupid lips! Why did they move just now! She is totally gonna say–
  • “Okay!” you would smile at him.
  • “W-what…”
  • “I said okay. Text me about it! I gotta go, Izu! Byeeee!” you would blow him a kiss before leaving the classroom.
  • “Izu” would be a heaping red pile of blush at this point, trying to find out if he was dreaming or not.
image

Todoroki

  • He would walk up to you with a very straight face, “Would you go out with me?”
  • He probably wouldn’t have given you very many hints by this point that he was even the slightest bit interested in you so it would probably throw you the hell off, “W-wha..”
  • “So no?”
  • “No! I-I mean, yes!” you would have to gather your breathing to stop yourself from panicking, “yes, I would love to go out with you,” you would finally pull yourself together.
  • “Good,” a slight smile would grace his lips, melting your heart, “That makes me really happy to hear, Y/N. I have everything planned out, so don’t worry about that part. I’ll pick you up from your dorm room at 8:18 on Saturday night,” he would walk away. The storm left as soon as it came.
  • “What… just…” well, it wasn’t exactly prince charming but… Shiiiid you’ll take it.
  • You would be left wondering if you were dreaming or not.
