hi this isn't his official ref but here's like the concept sketch or whatever that i picked 👍

this is mad knight (he uses he/him but actually does not care). he's a mad scientist. he has too many teeth. he's basically the doctor of the order. he has a hard time getting along with anyone because they don't like his stupid medical jokes. his best friend (to him) is king knight because neither of them really have friends and mad knight thinks he's funny.

also sometimes you can see one of his eyes through his helmet because uh expressions and i said so

Holy guacamole first actual digital piece since I got my PC back in from the repair shop!!! This is one of my Shovel Knight OCs, Night Knight (ha ha funny pun.) I wasn't sure which color scheme I like better, so you all can pick! Cuz honestly I adore both, but I'm not entirely sure which would work better. I'm planning to use her in some of the fanfictions I'm writing, but that's a ways away. I'll update the post with an edit once I decide her actual colors, cuz it's gonna be dang one of these!! EDIT: Black Armor won the overall vote by just one being a tiebreaker! I've seen a lot of people say that contrast does seem to be an issue with the black armor however, and to make a few extra touches to make things be more clear to the viewer in that sense, so I'll have to make some edits in that regard when I make her a Pocket Dungeon mod. Posting these Shovel Knight OCS I made in the past 2 days lol

Lotus Knight was the only one made as a serious character but Fool Knight & Alaric quickly became serious as well lolz

Lotus Knight: Born from a magical lotus hidden somewhere in the Troupple Grotto Lotus Knight became a knight to help protect her home from those who trespass whom she sees as dangerous. The first person she'd consider a friend is King Knight after he wandered into the lotus garden and asked her to come along with him.

Fool Knight: Pridemoor Keeps jester who was really really bad at her job even King Pridemoor struggled to praise her, after King Knight took over he decided to train her as a knight bc her mess ups could be useful in combat.

Alaric The Magician: A old revived human infuseed with his magic, was revived by The Enchantress centuries ago and has a odd romantic (and other more non pg13) obsession with her, they were in some kind of relationship when he was alive and wishes to see her one last time.

I'm just typing these up really quick lol, enjoy them

Fun fact: I have a shovel knight OC (albeit sorely neglected). He's called Theatre Knight and her entire premise is that he's a melodramatic bastard who randomly replaces mini-bosses with her own fight and you have to beat him to proceed. Not an ounce of respect in this creature.
