Day 2: Something that makes me happy

Doctor Who! This show plays such a vital role in my life and well-being. I’m not even sure I understand how significant it is for me. For those that don’t know, Doctor Who is a show about a nonbinary alien who travels through time and space (often with a young human companion or two) saving the world and generally being an anticapitalist space hobo saving the universe. (This character is genius because the Doctor can cheat death and regenerate into a new actor / incarnation. That’s how it’s been running for over 50 years!)

The Thirteenth Doctor presents somewhat androgynous and has a rainbow theme to her outfit. But that’s not why I love her– I love her personality, how she seeks to understand and empathize, helping anyone and everyone who needs it. This resonated with me, but she only got more relatable when they revealed the trauma she had undergone. It was already my favorite show before Jodie Whittaker took up the role and I found that I related to 13 more than any character I had ever come across. Her first episode released not too long after I left home and started being openly queer. After just a few episodes, I began to ship Thasmin (Thirteen x Yasmin) finding them so be a soft and wholesome ship with amazing chemistry on screen.

To see one of my favorite characters being someone I can relate to– as an asexual nonbinary person and as someone who is a survivor of certain traumas– to someone who has a soft spot for pretty girls with big eyes and golden hearts. Then to find that both of them struggle with their mental health... and at least one of them has expressed having romantic feelings for the other in the show... I can’t wait for Series 13!

My favorite is definately "They Both Die At The End" by Adam Silvera. It's a story about two guys, Mateo and Rufus, who live in a world where there's a company that calls you the morning of the day you're supposed to die. Mateo and Rufus are both set to die the same day, and the story is about their adventure on their last day alive.

In a opinion of mine Pride month shouldn't be a thing because people fought so hard to be normal and almost just recently they are able to have same sex marriage and they mostly are normal but the fact there is a whole month just for gay people In general. Do you see straight people waving flags and yelling they are straight? No. If they did they would be called a Nazi and pro hitler if they did. and being black on tumblr you get extra good boy points because of your skin? Last I checked white people made blacks their slaves and now they are defending them when defense is not needed? That is a 180. And trans people they want to be a different gender. Hell I want to be a white suburb girl and they throw their lives away just because you feel like you want to be something else? why not decide that you want to be a fucking tent. or hell even a glass cup. This kind of shit is make believe, fucking fairy tale shit. and people send thousand and thousands of dollars just to be a different gender and then go on the internet and say black lives matter that money could have gone into their poor projects. Now lets get to your opinions, If someone says that a fictional character should be white or thin (And if you have a bbw or bbm kink or just want to die early just say that) you have a panic attack and tell them to kill themselves you did it once to a girl because she didn't made a character fat. Pride challenge day 16, my favorite LGBTQIA TV moment? There's some amazing tv moments I adore. I could go on about the first time I saw Rocky Horror, or even when Korra and Assami kiss in Avatar, but you know what? It's the Steven Universe episode Alone Together, because it's the first time we encounter Stevonnie...and it was the first time I saw a cartoon character that genuinely felt like me.
