Struggling not to start yet another draft of a fic, but it's been sitting in my mind for several months now and it's killing me. It's just too large to start it when I still have stuff to finish but anyway

I'm sure it's been done before, but I keep thinking of Lucifer and an MC that either listens to opera or is a classically trained singer, and Lucifer hearing MC sing along to Phantom of the Opera (for the purposes of this post and how it sits in my mind, singing as Christine). And if he wasn't already head over heels for you, just immediately becoming smitten. MC singing in the kitchen or the study, thinking they were alone, to either "The Mirror" or "Phantom of the Opera" and Lucifer surprises them by joining in, singing to the Phantom's parts. He knew you liked music and knew you enjoyed listening to his records with him, including the classical music, but he never knew you could sing like that.

Hes so impressed that he even ends up mentioning it to Diavolo, who of course immediately has to hear what you sound like and invites you and Lucifer to the castle "for tea", only to sneak in asking about your singing and requests to hear your voice. He gives the biggest puppy eyes if you refuse to sing until you finally give in, on the condition Lucifer sings with you, and Diavolo is so moved and excited by your performance that he decides that he HAS to have you two perform a few songs on stage. You reluctantly agree, only after much arguing and deciding on conditions, one of which is that you will wear a mask (like a masquerade mask) and Lucifer must perform with you on stage.

Long story short, you two perform and much emotions are had, perhaps some kissing 💋 and also the brothers not knowing it's you until the very end lol

One day I hope to write this, but if anyone else wants to do it, I would love you a lot and also request I be tagged lol. It just feels like a long fic to tackle at the moment, but one day I hope to have it see daylight lol

Sometimes I really do think that I was misdiagnosed with ADHD as a kid (and more recently Autism). But then I remember that a game I really want is less than a month away from releasing and then I literally vibrate from the pure emotion of it all. Like... It's reassuring in a weird way, knowing that there's a reason I am the way I am and that there actually isn't anything wrong with it.
