tonight i’m thinking about how Annabeth said luke immediately cared for her. How gentle he must’ve been to have gotten her to trust him. How none of the caring shit we saw him do with Percy was an act. He loved Annabeth and she loves him. And you have to know that shit isn’t manipulation you know that 12-13 year old Luke wasn’t that far gone to the other side. He cared for her. Past tense

Something something Percy telling Annabeth to just be a kid. Something something the studio teachers letting Walker, Aryan and Leah pursue their interests in between filming and giving them space to breathe during intense rehearsals and shoots.
Something something the entire pjo team trusting this trio of young actors to be the face of a huge and complex mythological series while giving them the respect, care, and support they need to perform to such a high standard and enjoy the work they're doing. And amongst all that, working on crazy sets with stunt work and long days, making sure they get the chance to just be kids.

rosalie hale & leah clearwater; and the imprint was broken. rose could feel it, or rather the lack of one - because her chest was empty. leah's heartbeat had stopped. there was only silence.

Rereading the best series in the world in preparation for the show (which I’ve been so excited about I’ve been having DREAMS about it) and I’m so ashamed to have forgotten how amazing of a character Annabeth Chase is. Is she perfect? No. Is she realistically flawed? Yes. Does she try her best to help her friends, keep herself alive, and still remain true to who she is? Yes.
My biggest problem with characters modeled like her, (brainy, tough, annoying at times due to her intelligence, attractive) (such as Hermione from HP), is that their intelligence is made to be their whole personality. Their only contribution to the story is their intelligence and strategy (AKA their interest as a character and usefulness is limited to their smarts)
Annabeth Chase is not always wise. She sometimes panics in times of weakness (spiders), she makes rash decisions when it comes to her friends (jumping on the back of the monster in PJTC), and openly admits her fatal flaw is hubris. She does not limit herself to her intelligence - she trains and fights and tries her hardest (eventually) to get along with a kid who she has every reason to hate (his father is her mother’s enemy, he is praised for being a hero and gets a quest so easily after she has fought for one for years).
Percy gets all the credit for his loyalty and though he is beyond loyal, people tend to overlook the fact that Annabeth basically declared her alligence to him, dispute their parent’s hatred towards each other, on their first quest because he IS HER FRIEND.
She is too trusting. She can be “annoying” (though I don’t believe that’s the right word for it) with her intelligence. She is loyal to a fault. She is not always right.
Annabeth Chase is the most perfectly imperfect character and I will never forget that again.

Time pass and the team behind the wilds is still technically capable of doing the wilds.
And believe me when I tell you I’d give all my money for it to happen.

I think my new favorite thing is Virgins and Whores headcanons and the bachelors/bachelorettes make me curious. Who’s a virgin, who’s not, who’s *very* not in your opinion?
Oh lord help us
Im not as familiar with the ladies so take it easy on me
Bachelorettes:
Abigail: oh she’s a virgin. And I’m not just saying that because Seb is my LI. I think she’s been in a home with overprotective parents and is taking online classes.
Penny: virgin. I thought for a moment that she might be a little rebellious but it’s Penny.
Haley: just… Alex. Maybe some in high school? But she makes me feel like she would be loyal to Alex.
Leah: she’s been in relationships in the past. Had sex. All that jazz. But nothing excessive.
Emily: she gives the ‘waiting for the right person’ vibe. That person is not Clint.
Maru: virgin too. Which like, def not her fault. Well, she did throw herself into her studies but like Demetrius as a dad? Would he even let her leave? Maybe I’m salty. I also don’t ship her with Harvey. Feels weird to me.
Bachelors:
Alex: see Haley. But he might have been more of a stereotypical player in HS. Idk why but I know in my soul he tried to flirt with Penny at least once.
Elliott: I can’t help it. He had one love in the past that he lost. Maybe it’s why he actually came to town *gasp* but nah, he loved once and didn’t look again. If it comes, it comes, and so will he.
Shane: oh he’s a drunk whore for sure. And before you eat me, hear me out. He lived in the city. He’s an attractive single guy who played gridball, so he must have been fit at some point (if he’s not now, but I mean more), and while he is an angry drunk now, that’s bc he is jaded. He was def a flirt before and def slept with a handful of people as a result.
Sam: fuck man, I don’t know. Probably a virgin. I’m conflicted because he has so much to worry about already with his family and frankly, he just doesn’t seem to care about it.
Harvey: absolutely not a virgin. Homie went to college AND med school. Whether he had a s/o or he just fucked someone else who needed it. By no means was he like… getting laid left and right but you know sometimes you get stressed learning pharmacology and other times you need an anatomy refresher ifyouknowwhatimean
Sebastian: honestly? I go back and forth. If he ever went to the city for anything I can sometimes see him going for a hookup but honestly he doesn’t seem the type to me. I think he gets by on his own and is fine with it. (Funny thing: instead of it I accidentally typed ky which would also be true in that scenario)
Bonus:
Krobus: he gets the most action.
Wizard: used to get laid OBVIOUSLY and I’m pretty sure he’s a lil freak, usin his magic.
Clint: Virginiest virgin to virgin.
Morris: so lonely he has to pay for sex.
