I talk to my mom pretty infrequently, and use Facebook even less. We get along just fine though, I love her, so I’m certainly not going to discourage her when she reaches out. She was all excited to show me a series of 3D Animal renderings. They’re pretty good dupes but squint close and they don’t quite all match the same style, many have extra toes or flourishes, and tracking the repost back to the original IG confirms that it’s a series of midjourney prompts.

I know she is not even aware of AI art and why it fucking sucks and I don’t want to kill her enthusiasm for showing me art she thinks I’ll like, so I’m clenching my jaw tightly shut here but like… ma. Why.

I feel so justified lol, I saw people panning Kuki Shinobu when she came out but I was like yeah I love her actually and prioritized building her even over Itto and guess what bitches!
