Hey. I keep hearing from some ARMY friends (casual taekook shippers) that Taehyung had mentioned something about a trip with Jungkook where he had picked out clothes for him? While I've watched many of the older content, I haven't really completed watching all the old lives and other content yet. So I just wanted to confirm whether this is true or not, because many a times what they mention as a part of taekook lore have turned out to be false.
Hi anon
How are u doing?
First thing you need to understand about the cult is that they are fucking liars who do nothing but lie. And by that I mean make up shit. That is their specialty. Its how their ship thrives. Are we together? Good.
Tkk (according to V) went on a trip together. True
But here's the thing. I love V. I adore that man and his Tata mic face. But he tends to only talk about tkk moments when JK is absent. Vminhopekook LV live that's when he brought this up and when JK showed up he stopped talking about it. I mean I know why. Because JK usually corrects him if he says something that didn't happen or exergerrates. But either way its kinda sus. So even though the story came from V, I side eye it a little bit. But sure, Vkook went a on a trip together
I'll tell you what didn't happen though. V did not pick out JK's clothes. Idk where that narrative came from. But it was born from lies. Like I said its their specialty. It doesn't help that they have big accounts who help spread these lies. Speak a lie for long enough, it becomes the truth. But where are the receipts???
As usual, nowhere to be found. Jimin's fast and furious thing is not even 2 minutes old and this fucking menace who always has something to say when Jimin does something is already spreading more lies
And those morons are gonna fall for this, hook line and sinker. They won't bother to look up the credits for my universe. Even though the person saying this is talking out of their ass once again with no receipts.
So no, anon. That, like 90% of everything the vermin say, DID. NOT. HAPPEN.

Hi I was wondering if you know the origins of the taekook symbol the tkkrs have in their bio/domain names? I saw it's from when taekook made a hashtag symbol? But I can't see how that looks like the symbol they use so I was wondering if there's something else for them to use it? To me it reminds me of the K from stray kids lol I also saw it in a game my friend was playing called slay the spire, it's the symbol for the shop.
Their cult symbol? It's disrespect plain and simple. But yeah, we can talk about it. They say it stems from taekook themselves that they made it and continue to reinforce it. But they don't, and they never made a symbol or a sign in representative of their relationship together. The symbol is what they say stands for VKook. Because it looks like the combined letters of V and K into one.
But what they really did was take a bunch of unrelated things and insist that it was then related to taekook and confirmation of this symbol and as symbol of their love. It's actually Tae's Vante art signature tilted on its side. Which you can see how he signed his work with Vante and the line from the T traveled through the entire word, created the line for the A and the E as well. That's his signature, and on some pieces he just shortened it to a V with a line through it. They took this as Vkook symbol confirmation. When its not and its highly disrespectful to take something of Taes like that and make it solely about a ship
They also used Jungkook writing "Koo" on his muscle bunny art as a hidden taekook message to both them and as a secret ILY to Tae. But he didn't hide the Vkook symbol in his art, he signed it as Koo and just wrote a somewhat messy letter K
And they always use taekook "creating the symbol" together with their fingers as proof of this being something taekook created, knows about, and encourages. Saying that they wanted to create their Vkook symbol together during the SG 2020 photoshoot. When in reality, they were creating a hashtag sign with their fingers. Not this Vkook symbol that tkkrs created themselves.
Which is something the whole group has been doing since 2015, when they went on a hashtag questions interview IN 2015
Which you can watch here
And they will never let it go. The "origins" for this symbol will never make sense, it's actually high key disrespectful to Taehyung himself too. But nooo they will keep using it. Which is also why I will automatically block anyone who I see with a 𐤀 symbol anywhere in their usernames or bio. Past being able to be reasonable with at that point. They've gone too far....
At least most of them are keeping it online though 😭😭 it's literally being used as a cult symbol at this point. Honestly scary shit. The photos this person used in their tattoo comparison? The hashtag one and Taes Vante signature flipped on its side. Unfortunate.

Ship Wars: This Needs To Stop
I'm going to put this in plain but blunt terms.
This has to stop!
First Disclaimers: This is a Rant blog.
THANK YOU to all of the TaeKook shippers who have proven my point by spamming this blog, ignoring the fact that ALL SHIPS were mentioned and only that TaeKook was reference (based off of the reasons given below). I'm not going to argue, if you're not going to be constructive about anything I said, but only upset about TaeKook being an example ignoring the whole point if this blog, then heads up: my block button STAYS on fleek. #SorryNotSorry
***I want to start by stressing that this is NOT an attack on TaeKook/VKook shippers *however* unfortunately the person example/experience I have is based off of a person(s) who/are is representing your group. If that angers you then my suggestion is look to the person/people who are making you look bad and not me for calling out this foolishness.***
PLEASE READ THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOG FOR MY IDEA ON BRINGING SHIPS TOGETHER!!!
Look, I have been *very clear* to everyone that I ship. I ship hardcore and JiKook all day, with some Sope on the side. However, there is a difference between shipping and being disrespectful/embarrassing AF. I came across this comment thread on Soompi Awards in YouTube. The mayhem and fuckery that followed are the reason that I have decided to write this post.
If you have watched the video you notice that Kookie is looking at NamJoon as he talks, the same way he does everyone when they're talking 90% of the time. This shipper decided to ignore this fact and take this BTS acceptance award speech and turn it into a TaeKook moment (we're just going to ignore NamJoon, Yoongi and Hoseok and Jin and say he is staring at Tae and whatnot... Okay... sure... -_- )
I want to be clear this isn't an attack on TaeKook shippers, however this is the example that and foolishness I was forced to deal with. I will show you some of the other comments.
And it went on and on and on. I instantly became a target of her anger because my profile picture was JiKook. Not because I said anything about Jikook, but because my profile picture was and so I was obviously jealous of how "real VKook was and looking to discredit their moment"....
Any attempts by anyone to say, "Hey just focuson the win. This is making us look bad. Dude chill." Was met with tirades about the realness of VKook and even Tumblr links and more to prove their "realness". As well as accusations that people were only picking on VKook. Seriously... it was beyond ridiculous.
Just .. to explain how insane this was let me show you examples of the rest of the comments threads.
If you notice a lot of congratulations for Got7, BTS and other fandoms who have won. People just doing what you're *supposed to do* in a comments section like this and showing love for their groups.
My point? KEEP SHIPS TO SHIPPING VIDEOS?!
Is that really so hard?
Are TaeKook shippers the only ones guilty of this? No, not at all. All shippers have that person(s) in their group that goes out and embarrasses us like this. But COME ON!! This was the Soompi awards, it wasn't even BTS centered, you had Twice, Got7, Exo, Shinee, Dean, and more fans coming through to look at awards then you have rabbid TaeKook shippers who are busy arguing with anyone who says (hey guys lets not do this here) that they're just jealous because TaeKook is real. Like... come on!
I scrolled through, no one else, not another Army member, not another fandom brought ships in. They just did *what you're supposed to do in a fucking awards post* and congratulated the groups!
Is that really so hard?
Are you really that deep in your feelings that if someone says, hey- let's not make this about ships, but about BTS as a whole that you need to post links to gifs and tweets that "support your ship"?
Don't you know how embarrassing this is to Army as a representation?!
THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESED- AGAIN it seems....
Chill out.
No, seriously, chill out.
I ship just as hard as some of the best of them, but I also follow a few basic rules and I'm going to give this rules in hopes that they're employed by other fans who can't seem to understand this basic concept.
#1- Respect BTS, FIRST AND FOREMOST!
This comes above all else.
Above all pettiness above all ships you respect those men and their hard work. Keep your ships and preferences out of official BTS videos or Videos by companies/stations that are featuring/honoring them. Fans make shipping videos for a reason, people make posts and blogs for a reason, to fangirl to show their love for their ship and the group/paring they most enjoy. So keep your comments to those blogs and posts and *out of official BTS videos*.
And DAMN IT KEEP YOUR HATE FOR OTHER SHIPS AWAY FROM BTS!!
*This is a post from an actual Army Member who plans on attending the Wings Tour*
Seriously. Do you see this? How is it that it's going this far for some people?! BTS is a group, a unit. There is NO POINT you should call yourself Army and "boo" any part of a BTS Concert *especially* not over something as stupid as your least favorite ship?
**Credit to JanieDasiy for allowing me to use her translation and part of her post on ship fighting. Please read her full post and additional trans here, but be warned some of these "Army" are vicious especially towards Jimin. SHIP FIGHTS **
I think it's a shame this needs to be said, but obviously it does. The upside, it seems Soompi got tired of the BS going on in the above mentioned YouTube post and pulled the posters comment from their video as it *was literally the only comment not about the awards*.
And to be clear, THIS GOES FOR ALL SHIPS (JiKookers I'm talking to you too!), unless they're blatantly catering to ships (like the last episode of RUN) then don't speculate about who looked at whom, or why a member stood by another, or who brushed against someone's arm. It makes us look bad, there are people who are just discovering BTS in the video or are casual watchers- you don't get to try to assert your perception of their sexuality on others just because you're feeling in the moment. Nor do you get to play victim with people who call you out for it.
*reminder as I know people forget or get in their feelings - this is in reference to official BTS videos by Bangtan/companies/stations who are honoring or featuring them, NOT blogs, fan stuff, or shipping videos*
#2- Respect Other Ships!!
Am I JiKook? Yes I am! And proud of it. But you know what I NEVER do? Go into a TaeKook/VMin/YoonMin video and declare that JiKook is "the only real ship" or something just as disrespectful. I don't drown the comments sections of a blog on a ship I don't follow with comments about how my ship is "the only real ship" or "the only one with real moments" or "every other ship is blind or delusional". No, I see a post or blog about a ship that's not mine- I keep it scrolling.
How hard is that?
Truly. How hard?
BTS Run episode, the post blog featured the ships *Covered by BTS themselves*! We didn't do it. VHope, Sope, KookMin, NamJin shippers didn't make the video- BTS did *their own script* and made *their own video* and the post discussed them. So why are the comments section full of people who feel the need to declare the validity of their own personal ships? Why do they go into a post that features TaeKook to yell that "JiKook is the best!" Or a post that goes over Sope to yell that "YoonMin is the best!" or a post that features JiKook to yell that "TaeKook is the best!" (unfortunately these three ships come up a lot because they are the worst about it)
You don't like JiKook/YoonMin/TaeKook/VMin/Sope/NamJin/JinKook, etc videos/posts/blogs- don't look at them.
You don't like ships at all? Don't go into ship posts. You ship them as bros, that's fine, but if I don't then leave me be and I'll leave you be (as long as you stay out of my comments), lol.
It is not rocket science.
Just look at it, go... hmm, this isn't my thing. And keep it scrolling. You don't HAVE to comment. Respect needs to be given by all!
#3- NOTHING is Real!!
Your ship isn't real, my ship isn't real no ship is real because the boys haven't confirmed anything. We can speculate and guess and believe what we want. We can notice patterns and situations and tendencies all we want but chill the fuck out in regular public (non-fan) videos/forums.
Do I, personally, believe JiKook is real?... Well... I've stated my feelings on that in my JiKook blogs. And THAT is where they are.
They're not everywhere all over the internet saturating Bangtan videos and clips, why? Because it's not *my place* to say if they're real or not. If two people DO have a relationship and they want to come out with that relationship, they will and until they do, you don't get to decide it for them. By going into videos (like the one above) and arguing like that kid did, you're basically telling people who know nothing about BTS that- "These are its members and THIS is their fandom."
#YallBeLookingLikeKids
4- ARMY is the face of BTS!
We are the face of BTS, so stop getting egg on it. Stop embarrassing us in front of company! I go hard for my ship in a second (I don't think there are many of you who don't know that) but there is a time and a place for everything. The Soompi awards official post is not the time/place, the MCountdown official BTS video is not the time/place, the MusicBank official video is not the time/place, etc.
When myself or other shippers who remember just whom we are representing see "moments" at these events or locations we do what should be done. We make our own *separate* fan video/blog/post and put it in the correct forum (aka- not that one). We don't spam the comments section with time stamps and "moments" we've noticed. GTFOH with that type of stuff.
We spread love! Not war!
5- Don't forget why you ship!!!
Why do you ship? Everyone has reasons, but it is usually because you love the members and you love the love the members have for one another. So stop turning it into something negative. Stop pitting member against member or Army against Army. It's reached a point where certain member moments can't even be fully enjoyed because the cringe worthy comments are coming about how *once again, real* these two are. Enjoy your ship! Enjoy the joy it brings!!
THAT is also a big point in staying out of other ship videos/blogs/tags. Because how you gon enjoy your ship when you're too busy being salty about other ones? You won't.
Stay in your lane. If everyone just stays in their danggone lane then it would be cool. Why is that so hard for people?
**Now I want to be fair and close this off on a higher note**
Army has gotten a lot better over time. I've noticed less "This member his better" or "this person hates this person" posts in regular BTS videos as of late (as I stated before I don't go into other ships so I don't know what their videos look like). What we need to remember is that WE are ARMY, as a unit and as a group. Yes, it's okay to ship, I LOVE shipping, my ship gives me life, lol. BUT please remember not to take it too far. Love BTS as a unit, don't disrespect members or other Army just because they "interfere" with your ship. And don't stalk other ships to put them down just to make you feel better about yours.
Don't hate congratulate, and if you can't then move on.
*** ENDING ON A POSITIVE NOTE***
I would like to take this time to put forth an idea. I would LOVE to do a Shipping Collaboration post. So at this point I'm:
CALLING ALL SHIPPERS!!!
I think it would be great to put to put together a blog that shows what each group loves about each ship. So I'm asking for a representative from each ship to come forward with your favorite picture(s) of your ship and a small section explaining why/what you love about your ship. (Please refrain from the "they are so real!" route and give what you think makes them so.) Post in the comments if you're interested and why and I'll make my choices from there (Jikookers don't be afraid to throw your hat in the ring too as while I'm more than willing to rep us it doesn't have to be me).
Let's pull together for once to collaborate with and respect one another!!
(And yes my background is JiKook, I ain't never lied about my ship. Don't plan on pretending now.)
***EDIT BECAUSE THIS KEEPS COMING UP IN THE COMMENTS***
This is not a ship shamming post!!! Geez.
There is nothing wrong with shipping, it exists in K-Pop, idols know, companies know and they play off of it. What do you think the NamJin kiss was in the 'You Never Walk Alone' countdown. Or the *whole episode of the last BTS Run* OR this:
Dear shippers: you make me sick because if you cared about your idols you would consider them as a human being with a life and family and feelings. you wouldn't say such discussing things that could harm idols and their future and image. Your action can seriously cause idols harm to the point of them hurting themself wanting to be better for you. They forget about themself and lose their self-esteem to the point of death. Bts and Blackpink literally try to avoid each other because of the stupid roomers and shipping even when they literally denied them all. but you never stop. is it really that hard to keep your mouth shut? Jungkook literally obsessed over IU she's his ideal type and I could say more... but the whole Liskook and Jennie heart V and rose heart jimin thing Just needed to stop you can't choose the way someone gets to live their own life and Just because they have a lot in coming doesn't mean they are perfect for each other you don't know who they are your not behind the camera with them all the time and every day of there life's to see and decide on if he's compatible with Jennie or not Taehyung could be a completely different person when the cameras are off so don't sit there and act as you know him or Jennie and think their capital for each other because Taehyng already denied the roomer himself you should take the time and do your research shipper
This is not about ship shaming, this is about shipping etiquette. That is all.

Vkooker here, but I come in peace. ^^ I do not lurk here often but I have seen your posts from time to time, and I want to applaud you for how candid unbiased you come across. You treat anons on how they approach you & not for their beliefs. My question is could you see yourself seeing Vkook different and shipping them? What made you prefer Jikook? (I have bad experience with Jikookers but I think maybe I would want someone like you on our side ㅠㅠ)
Sorry for my English. It's not my first language. ^^'(2/2)
Your English is great, don't worry.
I don't know if I would say I'm totally unbiased. It would be inaccurate, but I should emphasize that I try to be. It's something that I have to be conscious about.
Interesting questions, though.
My preference for Jikook was a result of the specific BTS media I was watching, a little bit of an influential nudge from Jikook compilations that were organically suggested to me the more I consumed general BTS content, and also combined with my own experiences and outlook as an adult. And honestly? I think timing plays a small part in my choice as well.
I could wax poetic about what makes Jikook Jikook to me, but I'll spare you. The basic answer is that their dynamic simply appealed to me more than the others. Without going into a lot of detail, I studied people for school, and Jikook captured my attention the most in how recognizable their behaviors were and how delightful it is to watch them. But I also didn't like Jikook overnight; it actually took a while. And based on how I arrived at Jikook, it does make me think that if I became an ARMY around the time they debuted, my preferred ship would've been totally different (a.k.a. if I did end up shipping back then, it would've been two of the older ones because ew, minors 🤣).
I could see Taekook differently, maybe if their dynamic evolves into something that I perceive as questionable enough in the future. There has to be a visible enough chemistry that prompts me to want to think about them some more, and chemistry is another one of those things that can undergo change or evolution, so it's not entirely impossible. But would I ship them? Unlikely.
Thank you for the compliment, but I'm sure one has to exist somewhere! Maybe if my unicorn anons happen to see this and know of one, they might share it.
P.S. I don't mind talking to other shippers, as long as you're not picking a fight and your visit yields a nice discussion.
