it's actually so funny that the mcu very clearly had no clue what to do with loki specifically being a strong character because they HAVE people who are smart and they HAVE strong magical characters but apparently Loki's specific brand of that and being a wildcard was too much for them so they nerfed him in every field to solve the issue.
